CVE-2026-111899 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet KitchenOwl through 0.7.10 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in recipe import that allows authenticated household members to bypass IP filtering via a second unfiltered fetch. Attackers can host a page titled KitchenOwl at a URL matching /recipe/<id>. The follow-up requests.get() call can then be redirected or DNS-rebound to loopback, private-network, or cloud-metadata addresses, exposing internal services. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-54508 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet TREK is a collaborative travel planner. Prior to 3.1.0, TREK validates only the initial URL before native redirect following in importGoogleList() and importNaverList() in server/src/services/placeService.ts and resolveGoogleMapsUrl() in server/src/services/mapsService.ts. The affected sinks call checkSsrf() from server/src/utils/ssrfGuard.ts and then use fetch() with redirect: 'follow' instead of the DNS-pinned safeFetch() path, so a public attacker-controlled URL can redirect the server to loopback, RFC 1918, or cloud metadata addresses without revalidation. An authenticated trip member can reach the list-import routes, and any authenticated user can reach /api/maps/resolve-url, allowing blind GET requests to internal services without response-body reflection. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.0. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-108602 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Helicone through v2025.08.21-1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Jawn webhook sender that allows authenticated organization users to reach internal services by using hostnames resolving to private addresses. Attackers can create webhooks with public hostnames that resolve or DNS-rebind to loopback or internal addresses, causing blind POST requests to internal HTTPS services. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-50216 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet An integer underflow exists in the DNS proxy component of the macOS NetworkExtension system extension shipped with Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) for macOS, whereby if a UDP datagram shorter than 96 bytes that begins with a specific value is received, a subsequent size computation underflows to a near-SIZE_MAX value, causing an allocation failure and uncaught Objective-C exception that aborts the root system extension. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-77310 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. Prior to versions 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1 on their respective release lines, the java.net.InetAddress branch of FromStringDeserializer.Std._deserialize() calls InetAddress.getByName() on attacker-controlled input, causing eager DNS resolution during deserialization and enabling DNS-based server-side request forgery and internal-host enumeration. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.9, 2.21.5, 2.22.1, 3.1.5, and 3.2.1. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-62212 5.1 medium 0.00% openclaw OpenClaw before 2026.5.28 contains a race condition in the MS Teams safeFetch DNS rebinding check. When the affected feature is enabled and reachable, a lower-trust caller or configured input path could win a timing window between the DNS validation check and use, allowing actions that should have required a stronger authorization or policy check. Practical impact depends on the operator's configuration and whether lower-trust input can reach that path. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-34305 5.1 medium 0.00% ipfire IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) contain multiple stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities caused by a bug in the cleanhtml() function (/var/ipfire/header.pl) that fails to apply HTML-entity encoding to user input. When an authenticated user submits data to affected endpoints - for example, POST /cgi-bin/wakeonlan.cgi (CLIENT_COMMENT), /cgi-bin/dhcp.cgi (ADVOPT_DATA, FIX_REMARK, FIX_FILENAME, FIX_ROOTPATH), /cgi-bin/connscheduler.cgi (ACTION_COMMENT), /cgi-bin/dnsforward.cgi (REMARK), /cgi-bin/vpnmain.cgi (REMARK), or /cgi-bin/dns.cgi (REMARK) - the application calls escape() and HTML::Entities::encode_entities() but never assigns the sanitized result back to the output variable. The original unsanitized value is therefore stored and later rendered in the web interface without proper sanitation or encoding, allowing injected scripts to execute in the context of other users who view the affected entries. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-62266 5.1 medium 0.00% liferay, digital_experience_platform, liferay_portal By default, Liferay Portal 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.119, and older unsupported versions, and Liferay DXP 2024.Q1.1 through 2024.Q1.5, 2023.Q4.0 through 2023.Q4.10, 2023.Q3.1 through 2023.Q3.10, 7.4 GA through update 92, and older unsupported versions is vulnerable to DNS rebinding attacks, which allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external URLs. This vulnerability can be mitigated by changing the redirect URL security from IP to domain. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-13434 4.9 medium 0.00% kubevirt, redhat, openshift_virtualization A flaw was found in KubeVirt's network annotation generator. When a tenant creates a VirtualMachineInstance with a Multus network configuration, the supplied networkName value is written verbatim into the launcher pod's v1.multus-cni.io/default-network annotation without format validation or sanitization. The only admission check rejects empty strings; no DNS-1123 format validation, JSON detection, or special character rejection is performed. When the ExternalNetResourceInjection Beta feature gate is enabled (off by default, cluster-admin only), the NAD lookup that would otherwise catch malformed names is skipped by design. A tenant with kubevirt.io:edit permissions can inject a JSON-formatted NetworkSelectionElement array specifying an arbitrary namespace, NAD name, static IP address, and MAC address. Multus on the node parses this JSON and attaches the launcher pod to the specified network attachment in any namespace, enabling cross-namespace network access and IP/MAC impersonation on network segments normally segregated from tenant workloads. The ExternalNetResourceInjection feature gate was introduced in KubeVirt v1.8.0 (first shipped in OpenShift Virtualization 4.21). Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54242 4.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.73.24 and 6.20.1, the Glide image proxy's URL validation in src/Imaging/RemoteUrlValidator.php and src/Imaging/GuzzleAdapter.php could be bypassed using DNS rebinding. The remote hostname was validated as publicly routable, but resolved again when the image was actually fetched, so an attacker controlling the hostname's DNS could rebind it to an internal address after validation and cause the server to make HTTP requests to internal addresses, including loopback, private network, and cloud metadata endpoints. This affects sites that pass user-supplied URLs to Glide. This issue is fixed in versions 5.73.24 and 6.20.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-12942 4.8 medium 0.00% netgear, r6260_firmware, r6850_firmware Improper Input Validation vulnerability in NETGEAR R6260 and NETGEAR R6850 allows unauthenticated attackers connected to LAN with ability to perform MiTM attacks and control over DNS Server to perform command execution. This issue affects R6260: through 1.1.0.86; R6850: through 1.1.0.86. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-66286 4.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet An API design flaw in WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit allows untrusted web content to unexpectedly perform IP connections, DNS lookups, and HTTP requests. Applications expect to use the WebPage::send-request signal handler to approve or reject all network requests. However, certain types of HTTP requests bypass this signal handler. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-47778 4.4 medium 0.00% envoyproxy, envoy Envoy is an open source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Prior to 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1, a structural flaw was identified in DefaultCertValidator::verifySubjectAltName where the extracted DNS SAN string is cast to a C-style string using .c_str() before being passed to the Utility::dnsNameMatch() algorithm. If the attacker serves a certificate with a dNSName SAN containing an embedded NUL byte, the helper Utility::generalNameAsString captures the complete string including the NUL. However, when .c_str() evaluates it, implicit conversion to absl::string_view inside dnsNameMatch relies on strlen(), prematurely truncating the evaluation context. Envoy evaluates trucated string against the exact required config_san match and returns true, thereby successfully validating the string with the Nul byte for an upstream routing. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.35.11, 1.36.7, 1.37.3, and 1.38.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-91769 4.3 medium 0.00% php PHP's OpenSSL stream peer verification checks the certificate's subjectAltName entries first and, whenever no entry matches, falls back to the Common Name. RFC 6125 requires the CN to be ignored once the certificate presents any service identity, so a certificate carrying a non-matching DNS SAN was still accepted when its CN matched the requested peer_name. A certificate trusted by the client for one name can therefore be used to impersonate another. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-101029 4.3 medium 0.00% gitea Gitea's repository migration and pull mirror egress checks could be bypassed with a hostname that returns multiple DNS answers, because the address that was validated was not necessarily the address Git later connected to. A low-privileged user who can create migrations or mirrors could direct the server to internal services, reading from and writing to reachable internal Git or HTTP endpoints. Content from internal responses could additionally be disclosed through migration and mirror error messages. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-89092 4.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The nscd service in the GNU C Library 2.3.4 onwards may crash due to a stack overflow when a malicious DNS server returns too large a response for a DNS query, resulting in degraded DNS resolution for the system. Exploitation of this bug needs a system that has nscd enabled and using an untrusted DNS server for name resolution, with the compromised DNS server being capable of processing records large enough to result in a stack overflow in an nscd thread stack. During experimentation, bind 9 was unable to handle large records, but that could change in future or with a different name server. In typical installations, nscd is executed in an isolated context as its own user without a shell, due to which any compromise of that service is isolated. There is a remote possibility of nscd cache corruption if an attacker manages to get the stack pointer into a desired point in the heap, potentially resulting in other caches in nscd being overwritten with corrupt data through the stack overflow, until the buggy code path eventually results in a crash. Finally, a crash in nscd may result in performance degradation when resolving names, but it does not result in a denial of service. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-109779 4.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Race condition in the Networking: DNS component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158 and Thunderbird 158. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-42254 4.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Hickory DNS hickory-recursor 0.1 through 0.25.2 allows cross-zone poisoning because cached data is not directly associated with a query that triggered a response. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53945 4.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.0.9 until 6.21.1, Ghost’s private-IP check for outbound HTTP requests could be bypassed via DNS rebinding, allowing an attacker to coerce the Ghost server into reaching hosts on internal networks through features that issue external fetches. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.21.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-19742 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet The IPv6 stack derived the long-lived secret key used to compute RFC 7217 stable interface identifiers (gen_stable_iid() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6.c) and RFC 8981 temporary interface identifiers (gen_temporary_iid() in subsys/net/ip/ipv6_pe.c) with sys_rand_get(). That API is documented as not cryptographically secure, while both RFCs require this key to be an unpredictable random value of at least 128 bits — the unpredictability of every generated IID rests entirely on it. Depending on the platform, sys_rand_get() resolves either to a hardware entropy device or, on boards whose entropy driver sets CONFIG_ENTROPY_NEEDS_PRNG, to the non-cryptographic xoshiro128++ generator in subsys/random/random_xoshiro128.c, which keeps a single global 128-bit state shared with every other sys_rand_get() consumer. Many of those consumers put their output directly on the wire (ephemeral source ports, DNS query IDs, CoAP message IDs and tokens, DHCPv6 transaction IDs, WebSocket masking keys), and the xoshiro state transition is invertible, so an observer of a device's traffic can recover the generator state and reconstruct the IID secret key. Additionally, with the entropy-device backend sys_rand_get() silently falls back to k_cycle_get_32() samples when the entropy driver fails, and returns no error, so the key could be derived from the cycle counter without the caller noticing. With the key known, stable IIDs become directly computable for any prefix (the remaining HMAC inputs — prefix, interface index, interface name, DAD counter — are guessable), and temporary IIDs become linkable after a cheap search over the mixed-in k_uptime_get_32() value. This defeats the properties both features exist to provide: an attacker can track a device across networks and prefixes, and can predict its address inside a /64 without scanning, removing the usual barrier to directly targeting the host. There is no memory-safety, integrity, or availability impact. The fix generates the key with sys_csrand_get() and aborts IID generation with -EIO when no cryptographic randomness is available, instead of silently deriving addresses from a predictable key. Both CONFIG_NET_IPV6_IID_STABLE and CONFIG_NET_IPV6_PE are experimental and disabled by default; builds using CONFIG_TEST_RANDOM_GENERATOR remain predictable by design, as sys_csrand_get() is deliberately routed back to the test generator there. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40011 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet An attacker sending a large number of crafted DNS queries might be able to trigger a dynamic block being inserted with a value causing invalid output to be produced in the prometheus endpoint. The prometheus endpoint will then be rejected by the scraper until the dynamic block expires. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-41637 3.7 low 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.22.0 up to and including 1.25.1, client terminated DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) queries are not accounted properly by Unbound resulting in low-cost inflation of the waiting number of replies for already in-flight resolution queries. This results in degradation of resolution service for new clients for already in-flight queries. A malicious actor can exploit the vulnerability by issuing DoQ queries for query names that need resolution and proceeding on immediately terminating the query by one of STOP_SENDING/RESET_STREAM/CONNECTION_CLOSE QUIC frames. Those terminated DoQ queries are not properly counted for and keep inflating the number of waiting replies for in-flight queries. When the maximum is reached, it results in silent query drops for new clients needing resolution for already in-flight queries. This vulnerability needs Unbound to be compiled with DoQ support ('--with-libngtcp2') and the 'quic-port' to be configured for the listening interfaces. Additionally, a malicious actor needs access to multiple source IPs to bypass the by-default configured 'wait-limit' option. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-44687 3.7 low 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.13.2 up to and including 1.25.1, stub or forward zones where the name is below an intermediate labed below a DNSSEC signed zone could be shadowed by the intermediate label's secure NXDOMAIN answer from the parent. This is caused by an off-by-one error in 'harden-below-nxdomain' logic; enabled by default. It effectively bypasses the configuration and the configured stub/forward zone is never contacted. 'harden-below-nxdomain' does an upward DNS cache walk together with a delegation point guard that does not allow NXDOMAIN synthesis above stub/forward zones. The guard tests the domain name but before stripping a label. This results in an iteration where the domain name equals the configured stub/forward zone apex that passes the guard, strips one more label, and probes the cache at the apex's immediate public parent. If that parent has a cached DNSSEC-secure NXDOMAIN, which it will for any private namespace nested two or more labels under a signed public name, the walk returns it and the configured stub/forward upstream is never contacted. This can only be triggered by the query for the intermediate label (between the stub/forward apex and the DNSSEC parent zone). Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-54478 3.7 low 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.18.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when Unbound listens on a 'proxy-protocol-port' interface with 'answer-cookie: yes', the RFC 9018 server-cookie SipHash is computed over the proxy's wire address instead of the PROXYv2-declared client. One server cookie obtained through a given proxy node therefore validates for every PROXYv2-declared source behind that node. On a UDP+proxy-protocol front, an off-path attacker can harvest one cookie with a single legitimate query, then replay it under any spoofed source and pass DNS Cookie checks that were deployed to defeat this in the first place. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-83813 3.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.names.dns.DNSDatagramProtocol accepts a UDP DNS response for a pending query when its 16-bit transaction ID matches but does not verify that the response came from the queried host and port. An attacker able to deliver a packet to the resolver's listening port with the correct transaction ID can inject a forged answer. The standard twisted.names.client.Resolver uses a new random source port for each query, increasing off-path attack complexity, while applications that reuse a DNSDatagramProtocol instance expose only the transaction-ID search space after the first query. A successful forgery can redirect hostname resolution and enable mail interception, server-side request forgery, or man-in-the-middle positioning. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-41488 3.1 low 0.00% langchain, langchain-openai LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to 1.1.14, langchain-openai's _url_to_size() helper (used by get_num_tokens_from_messages for image token counting) validated URLs for SSRF protection and then fetched them in a separate network operation with independent DNS resolution. This left a TOCTOU / DNS rebinding window: an attacker-controlled hostname could resolve to a public IP during validation and then to a private/localhost IP during the actual fetch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55708 3.1 low 0.00% nlnetlabs, unbound In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.6.0 up to and including 1.25.1, the 'view_local_data' and 'view_local_datas' commands of 'unbound-control' create a bare local zones tree for an already configured named view when the view is configured with no local data to begin with. However, the creation through the control interface omits adding the default-protected zones (e.g., RFC 1918 reverse, AS112 zones, .onion, .localhost). Once the local zone tree exists without the defaults, every query for a default-protected name from a client mapped to that view escapes to the public DNS via the iterator instead of being answered locally, bypassing local policy expectations. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-49262 3.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet In the Aimeos Pagible content management system prior to version 0.10.4, the administrative proxy route (`cmsproxy`) is vulnerable to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack via DNS Rebinding. A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists between the URL validation phase and the actual HTTP request phase, allowing attackers to access internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. Version 0.10.4 fixes the issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-68927 3.0 low 0.00% no CPE yet MobSF is a mobile application security testing tool used. Prior to 4.5.1, get_browsable_activities in mobsf/StaticAnalyzer/views/android/manifest_analysis.py validates only an Android manifest android:host value with valid_host before appending a separately supplied android:port to the URL fetched by _check_url, allowing an authenticated user to upload a crafted APK that makes requests to an attacker-selected nonstandard port at /.well-known/assetlinks.json. With an attacker-controlled hostname and DNS rebinding between validation and the requests.get connection, the request can reach an internal service, although redirects remain disabled and the path is fixed. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.1. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-57587 2.9 low 0.00% tenable, nessus A SQL injection vulnerability in Nessus allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker who controls reverse DNS records for a scanned host to inject malicious SQL into the scan results database, potentially enabling exfiltration of scan-result data. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-34513 2.7 low 0.00% aiohttp AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.13.4, an unbounded DNS cache could result in excessive memory usage possibly resulting in a DoS situation. This issue has been patched in version 3.13.4. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-61840 2.3 low — vantern-org, questbot Quest Bot is an opensource Discord Bot. Prior to 1.1.9, the `image to GIF` command uses a request helper that validates a hostname's public IP addresses but then sends the actual request by hostname, causing a `second DNS lookup`. An attacker controlling a domain can return a public address during validation and an internal address during the connection, bypassing the internal-address protection through `DNS rebinding`. The command takes its address directly from user input and its developer-only gate is disabled in normal deployments, so any member of a server with the bot can trigger the flaw without special permissions. Requests are restricted to `HTTPS on port 443`, and content is returned only when the response is a `genuine image`. The impact is therefore mostly blind internal probing with limited retrieval of image responses from loopback or internal endpoints, not arbitrary internal-data disclosure. Common cloud metadata services using plain HTTP on another port are not reachable through this path. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.9. 4 h ago
CVE-2026-108741 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Shepherd (shepherd-ai) through 0.3.1 contains a server-side request forgery guard bypass in the citation-checker extra because the public_url guard validates a resolved address but fetch re-resolves the hostname at connect time. Attackers who plant a crafted reference URL in a checked document and control its DNS can rebind it to internal addresses, sending GET requests to internal HTTP(S) services and capturing responses in evidence files. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-57569 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.6.0, the POST /api/v2/Photo::fromUrl flow validates a hostname and its resolved addresses in app/Rules/PhotoUrlRule.php but later passes the original hostname through app/Actions/Import/FromUrl.php to app/Image/Files/DownloadedFile.php for a separate fopen connection. An authenticated attacker who controls DNS responses can cause validation to observe a public address and the subsequent fetch to resolve the same hostname to a private or otherwise forbidden address. This DNS rebinding time-of-check to time-of-use mismatch bypasses the intended server-side request forgery protections and can reach services available from the Lychee server, subject to deployment and TLS behavior. This issue is fixed in version 7.6.0. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-110223 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Kavita 0.9.0 through 0.9.1.4 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated users to bypass the SSRF blocklist through DNS rebinding or HTTPS redirects. Attackers can submit a URL to POST /api/Cbl/upload-cbl-file whose host rebinds or redirects to internal addresses after validation, enabling blind internal port and service probing. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-6874 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was determined in ericc-ch copilot-api up to 0.7.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file /token of the component Header Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument Host can lead to reliance on reverse dns resolution. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-112288 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Krayin CRM 2.2.5 before 2.2.7 contains a server-side request forgery filter bypass that allows users with webhook permissions to reach internal addresses via DNS rebinding. Attackers can return a public address during WebhookService::isSafeEndpoint() validation and an internal address when Guzzle re-resolves, sending blind requests to internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-108523 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was determined in Studio-Saelix Sencho up to 0.94.1. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file outboundTarget.ts of the component git-sources Browse API Endpoint. Executing a manipulation of the argument repo_url can lead to server-side request forgery. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The presence of this vulnerability remains uncertain at this time. This patch is called 79b86ddcd4aefdd6941f098e35990ab397b13c72. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue. The vendor explains: "Git repository access is an intentional, privileged administrative function. Sencho explicitly supports repositories hosted on private LAN, VPC, VPN, CGNAT, and IPv6 ULA networks. The report does not demonstrate a privilege-boundary bypass or access by an unprivileged user. We therefore dispute the CVE characterization of this behavior. As defense in depth, we have nevertheless hardened repository access. Git HTTPS and SSH connections now validate and pin DNS resolution, reject loopback, link-local, multicast, selected special-use and metadata targets, disable redirects and inherited proxy routing, and retain strict SSH host-key verification." 13 Oct
CVE-2025-59163 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet vet is an open source software supply chain security tool. Versions 1.12.4 and below are vulnerable to a DNS rebinding attack due to lack of HTTP Host and Origin header validation. Data from the vet scan sqlite3 database may be exposed to remote attackers when vet is used as an MCP server in SSE mode with default ports through the sqlite3 query MCP tool. This issue is fixed in version 1.12.5. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-34073 1.7 low 0.00% cryptography.io, cryptography cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. Prior to version 46.0.6, DNS name constraints were only validated against SANs within child certificates, and not the "peer name" presented during each validation. Consequently, cryptography would allow a peer named bar.example.com to validate against a wildcard leaf certificate for *.example.com, even if the leaf's parent certificate (or upwards) contained an excluded subtree constraint for bar.example.com. This issue has been patched in version 46.0.6. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-66392 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet Apache bRPC versions before 1.18.0 validate the server certificate chain when client TLS peer verification is enabled, but do not bind the certificate to an expected DNS name or IP address. A network attacker who can redirect or intercept a connection and who possesses a certificate issued by a CA trusted by the client for another name may impersonate the requested TLS endpoint. Affected Scenarios: Applications use a bRPC client Channel to connect to an untrusted network with certificate verification enabled and trust a CA that can issue certificates for identities other than the intended endpoint. How to Fix: Upgrade to Apache bRPC 1.18.0 and enable VERIFY_PEER with a positive verify_depth. HTTPS Channels automatically verify the certificate against the host in the Channel URL. Callers may set VerifyOptions::expected_peer_name explicitly when the certificate identity differs from the URL host. Alternatively, apply the patch from https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3408 . Note: The new option performs DNS SAN or IP SAN verification during the TLS handshake. Configurations that set expected_peer_name while peer verification is disabled are rejected. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-112921 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet Robots::Validate versions from 0.4.3 before 0.4.10 for Perl report clients as imposter robots when User-Agent matcher state carries over from a previous request. Each Robots::Validate object holds one pure-Perl Aho-Corasick search machine and feeds every User-Agent into it without resetting its state. A User-Agent that ends part-way through a robot name leaves the machine mid-match, so the next User-Agent checked by the same object can complete that name. That client's address is then checked against the robot's DNS rule, which it fails. A remote client can use this to make a site that blocks bad robots block other visitors where the prefix User-Agent string is a suffix of a robot being validated. Note that deployments with Algorithm::AhoCorasick::XS are also affected, since it was unused due to a different bug. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-99127 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: page_pool: keep frag_offset aligned for odd-sized requests page_pool_alloc_frag_netmem() rounds the requested fragment size with size = ALIGN(size, dma_get_cache_alignment()); dma_get_cache_alignment() returns 1 unless the architecture defines ARCH_DMA_MINALIGN, which DMA-coherent architectures such as x86 do not. There the ALIGN() is a no-op and pool->frag_offset advances by the raw, unrounded size. A single caller asking for an odd size then leaves frag_offset misaligned for every fragment carved out of that page afterwards. The pool is shared, so the damage is not confined to the caller that caused it. The per-cpu system_page_pool used by generic XDP hits this. skb_pp_cow_data() allocates its fragments with the raw packet length: size = min_t(u32, len, PAGE_SIZE); truesize = size; page = page_pool_dev_alloc(pool, &page_off, &truesize); leaving frag_offset odd for whatever is carved out of that page next. Its own head allocation is already aligned -- SKB_HEAD_ALIGN(size) plus the XDP_PACKET_HEADROOM its callers pass -- so it is a later user of the shared pool that pays: page_pool_dev_alloc_va() returns a misaligned buffer, napi_build_skb() installs it as skb->head, and skb_shinfo(skb) == skb->head + skb->end is misaligned with it. skb_shinfo()->dataref is a 4-byte atomic_t at offset 0x20, so the atomic_inc() in __skb_clone() straddles a cache line. On x86 with split lock detection -- fatal for kernel split locks by default -- this panics the machine: Oops: Split lock detected RIP: 0010:skb_clone+0x154/0x1e0 Call Trace: <IRQ> raw_local_deliver+0x1ed/0x2c0 ip_protocol_deliver_rcu+0x54/0x1c0 ip_local_deliver_finish+0x85/0x100 ip_local_deliver+0x67/0x100 __netif_receive_skb_one_core+0x85/0xa0 process_backlog+0x87/0x130 Reproduced by attaching any generic-mode XDP program to loopback and opening a RAW IPPROTO_UDP socket, which makes raw_local_deliver() clone every locally delivered UDP packet; ordinary DNS traffic then triggers it, roughly once per 2500 clones. Observed on 6.12.101 and 7.1.8. Tracing page_pool_alloc_frag_netmem() over one such run shows the amplification -- two odd-sized requests, nine misaligned offsets: requested size & 7: 0: 17035 5: 1 7: 1 frag_offset & 7: 0: 17028 3: 1 4: 1 5: 1 6: 1 7: 5 and skb_pp_cow_data() returning heads that were aligned on entry: head 0xffff8f4c86aeac00 -> 0xffff8f4c53a9a9c4 (&7=4) head 0xffff8f4d6a8a42c0 -> 0xffff8f4c4f7b7a45 (&7=5) Round the fragment size up to at least the alignment struct skb_shared_info requires, so fragments are always suitably aligned for the objects callers build on them. Architectures needing a larger DMA alignment keep it. This also makes the remainder computed in page_pool_alloc_netmem(), *size = max_size - *offset; aligned, since max_size is a power of two -- which fixes the matching misalignment of skb->end. Verified with a controlled A/B under QEMU/KVM: same tree, same config, same compiler, same rootfs and identical traffic, differing only by this patch. A SEC("xdp.frags") XDP_PASS program on lo plus UDP datagrams larger than max_head_size drives skb_pp_cow_data()'s fragment loop, which passes raw packet lengths to the pool. Measured at the return of skb_pp_cow_data(): unpatched patched skb_pp_cow_data calls 40800 40800 misaligned skb->head 1120 0 dataref at line offset >60 80 0 The last row counts the accesses that actually fault: skb_shinfo()->dataref sits at head+end+0x20 and is a 4-byte atomic, so `lock incl` splits a 64-byte cache line only when that address lands at offset 61..63. All 80 occurrences were at offset 61; the panic reported above was at offset 62. Eliminating the misalignment removes every one of them. CVE-2025-68299 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Fix delayed allocation of a cell's anonymous key The allocation of a cell's anonymous key is done in a background thread along with other cell setup such as doing a DNS upcall. In the reported bug, this is triggered by afs_parse_source() parsing the device name given to mount() and calling afs_lookup_cell() with the name of the cell. The normal key lookup then tries to use the key description on the anonymous authentication key as the reference for request_key() - but it may not yet be set and so an oops can happen. This has been made more likely to happen by the fix for dynamic lookup failure. Fix this by firstly allocating a reference name and attaching it to the afs_cell record when the record is created. It can share the memory allocation with the cell name (unfortunately it can't just overlap the cell name by prepending it with "afs@" as the cell name already has a '.' prepended for other purposes). This reference name is then passed to request_key(). Secondly, the anon key is now allocated on demand at the point a key is requested in afs_request_key() if it is not already allocated. A mutex is used to prevent multiple allocation for a cell. Thirdly, make afs_request_key_rcu() return NULL if the anonymous key isn't yet allocated (if we need it) and then the caller can return -ECHILD to drop out of RCU-mode and afs_request_key() can be called. Note that the anonymous key is kind of necessary to make the key lookup cache work as that doesn't currently cache a negative lookup, but it's probably worth some investigation to see if NULL can be used instead. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-68199 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: codetag: debug: handle existing CODETAG_EMPTY in mark_objexts_empty for slabobj_ext When alloc_slab_obj_exts() fails and then later succeeds in allocating a slab extension vector, it calls handle_failed_objexts_alloc() to mark all objects in the vector as empty. As a result all objects in this slab (slabA) will have their extensions set to CODETAG_EMPTY. Later on if this slabA is used to allocate a slabobj_ext vector for another slab (slabB), we end up with the slabB->obj_exts pointing to a slabobj_ext vector that itself has a non-NULL slabobj_ext equal to CODETAG_EMPTY. When slabB gets freed, free_slab_obj_exts() is called to free slabB->obj_exts vector. free_slab_obj_exts() calls mark_objexts_empty(slabB->obj_exts) which will generate a warning because it expects slabobj_ext vectors to have a NULL obj_ext, not CODETAG_EMPTY. Modify mark_objexts_empty() to skip the warning and setting the obj_ext value if it's already set to CODETAG_EMPTY. To quickly detect this WARN, I modified the code from WARN_ON(slab_exts[offs].ref.ct) to BUG_ON(slab_exts[offs].ref.ct == 1); We then obtained this message: [21630.898561] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [21630.898596] kernel BUG at mm/slub.c:2050!
