| CVE-2025-40307 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: validate cluster allocation bits of the allocation bitmap syzbot created an exfat image with cluster bits not set for the allocation bitmap. exfat-fs reads and uses the allocation bitmap without checking this. The problem is that if the start cluster of the allocation bitmap is 6, cluster 6 can be allocated when creating a directory with mkdir. exfat zeros out this cluster in exfat_mkdir, which can delete existing entries. This can reallocate the allocated entries. In addition, the allocation bitmap is also zeroed out, so cluster 6 can be reallocated. This patch adds exfat_test_bitmap_range to validate that clusters used for the allocation bitmap are correctly marked as in-use. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-50432 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kernfs: fix use-after-free in __kernfs_remove Syzkaller managed to trigger concurrent calls to kernfs_remove_by_name_ns() for the same file resulting in a KASAN detected use-after-free. The race occurs when the root node is freed during kernfs_drain(). To prevent this acquire an additional reference for the root of the tree that is removed before calling __kernfs_remove(). Found by syzkaller with the following reproducer (slab_nomerge is required): syz_mount_image$ext4(0x0, &(0x7f0000000100)='./file0\x00', 0x100000, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0) r0 = openat(0xffffffffffffff9c, &(0x7f0000000080)='/proc/self/exe\x00', 0x0, 0x0) close(r0) pipe2(&(0x7f0000000140)={0xffffffffffffffff, <r1=>0xffffffffffffffff}, 0x800) mount$9p_fd(0x0, &(0x7f0000000040)='./file0\x00', &(0x7f00000000c0), 0x408, &(0x7f0000000280)={'trans=fd,', {'rfdno', 0x3d, r0}, 0x2c, {'wfdno', 0x3d, r1}, 0x2c, {[{@cache_loose}, {@mmap}, {@loose}, {@loose}, {@mmap}], [{@mask={'mask', 0x3d, '^MAY_EXEC'}}, {@fsmagic={'fsmagic', 0x3d, 0x10001}}, {@dont_hash}]}}) Sample report: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in kernfs_type include/linux/kernfs.h:335 [inline] BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in kernfs_leftmost_descendant fs/kernfs/dir.c:1261 [inline] BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in __kernfs_remove.part.0+0x843/0x960 fs/kernfs/dir.c:1369 Read of size 2 at addr ffff8880088807f0 by task syz-executor.2/857 CPU: 0 PID: 857 Comm: syz-executor.2 Not tainted 6.0.0-rc3-00363-g7726d4c3e60b #5 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.15.0-1 04/01/2014 Call Trace: <TASK> __dump_stack lib/dump_stack.c:88 [inline] dump_stack_lvl+0x6e/0x91 lib/dump_stack.c:106 print_address_description mm/kasan/report.c:317 [inline] print_report.cold+0x5e/0x5e5 mm/kasan/report.c:433 kasan_report+0xa3/0x130 mm/kasan/report.c:495 kernfs_type include/linux/kernfs.h:335 [inline] kernfs_leftmost_descendant fs/kernfs/dir.c:1261 [inline] __kernfs_remove.part.0+0x843/0x960 fs/kernfs/dir.c:1369 __kernfs_remove fs/kernfs/dir.c:1356 [inline] kernfs_remove_by_name_ns+0x108/0x190 fs/kernfs/dir.c:1589 sysfs_slab_add+0x133/0x1e0 mm/slub.c:5943 __kmem_cache_create+0x3e0/0x550 mm/slub.c:4899 create_cache mm/slab_common.c:229 [inline] kmem_cache_create_usercopy+0x167/0x2a0 mm/slab_common.c:335 p9_client_create+0xd4d/0x1190 net/9p/client.c:993 v9fs_session_init+0x1e6/0x13c0 fs/9p/v9fs.c:408 v9fs_mount+0xb9/0xbd0 fs/9p/vfs_super.c:126 legacy_get_tree+0xf1/0x200 fs/fs_context.c:610 vfs_get_tree+0x85/0x2e0 fs/super.c:1530 do_new_mount fs/namespace.c:3040 [inline] path_mount+0x675/0x1d00 fs/namespace.c:3370 do_mount fs/namespace.c:3383 [inline] __do_sys_mount fs/namespace.c:3591 [inline] __se_sys_mount fs/namespace.c:3568 [inline] __x64_sys_mount+0x282/0x300 fs/namespace.c:3568 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/common.c:50 [inline] do_syscall_64+0x38/0x90 arch/x86/entry/common.c:80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x63/0xcd RIP: 0033:0x7f725f983aed Code: 02 b8 ff ff ff ff c3 66 0f 1f 44 00 00 f3 0f 1e fa 48 89 f8 48 89 f7 48 89 d6 48 89 ca 4d 89 c2 4d 89 c8 4c 8b 4c 24 08 0f 05 <48> 3d 01 f0 ff ff 73 01 c3 48 c7 c1 b0 ff ff ff f7 d8 64 89 01 48 RSP: 002b:00007f725f0f7028 EFLAGS: 00000246 ORIG_RAX: 00000000000000a5 RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 00007f725faa3f80 RCX: 00007f725f983aed RDX: 00000000200000c0 RSI: 0000000020000040 RDI: 0000000000000000 RBP: 00007f725f9f419c R08: 0000000020000280 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: 0000000000000408 R11: 0000000000000246 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 0000000000000006 R14: 00007f725faa3f80 R15: 00007f725f0d7000 </TASK> Allocated by task 855: kasan_save_stack+0x1e/0x40 mm/kasan/common.c:38 kasan_set_track mm/kasan/common.c:45 [inline] set_alloc_info mm/kasan/common.c:437 [inline] __kasan_slab_alloc+0x66/0x80 mm/kasan/common.c:470 kasan_slab_alloc include/linux/kasan.h:224 [inline] slab_post_alloc_hook mm/slab.h:7 ---truncated--- | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-96611 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | ffmpeg | FFmpeg before 9.0 has a signed integer overflow in libavformat/mov.c. In mov_read_ispe(), uint32_t width/height values from a crafted HEIF ispe box are stored into signed int fields without bounds checking, allowing values exceeding INT_MAX to become negative. In read_image_grid(), accumulating these values causes signed integer overflow (undefined behavior per C17 section 6.5), which on x86 wraps to a small positive value, bypassing downstream validity checks. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108094 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A use-after-free flaw was found in mutter in the Wayland color-management ICC image-description path. A local attacker who can run a malicious Wayland client can destroy a wp_image_description_v1 resource while an asynchronous ICC file read is still in progress. When the read completes, the compositor uses the freed wl_resource, writes into freed memory, and frees a pointer derived from that memory. This can crash the GNOME session and may allow arbitrary code execution within the compositor process. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-40304 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: Add bounds checking in bit_putcs to fix vmalloc-out-of-bounds Add bounds checking to prevent writes past framebuffer boundaries when rendering text near screen edges. Return early if the Y position is off-screen and clip image height to screen boundary. Break from the rendering loop if the X position is off-screen. When clipping image width to fit the screen, update the character count to match the clipped width to prevent buffer size mismatches. Without the character count update, bit_putcs_aligned and bit_putcs_unaligned receive mismatched parameters where the buffer is allocated for the clipped width but cnt reflects the original larger count, causing out-of-bounds writes. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52492 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An integer overflow in the libtiff rgb2ycbcr utility's cvtRaster() function when computing strip buffer sizes can result in an undersized heap allocation and subsequent heap-based buffer overflow during YCbCr conversion of a crafted TIFF image | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66758 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | gimp, redhat, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in the file-fits plugin in GIMP. When processing a FITS image file, the plugin calculates memory allocation sizes using signed 32-bit integers for width and height. If a crafted file sets both values to large values, their product exceeds 2^31 and overflows, resulting in an undersized heap-based buffer allocation. This integer overflow issue results in a heap-based buffer overflow when cfitsio subsequently writes a full row of pixels in the buffer, causing memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a denial of service. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42169 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | redhat, enterprise_linux, enterprise_linux_eus | A heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the APNG (Animated PNG) file loader of GIMP. This flaw occurs when the `fcTL` width exceeds the `IHDR` width, leading to pixel data being written past the end of a heap allocation. Additionally, a heap-based buffer overflow exists in the DDS plug-in due to a BPP mismatch in the `load_layer()` function. Both vulnerabilities can be triggered by opening a specially crafted image file, potentially leading to code execution. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-91815 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader | Foxit PDF Editor/Reader does not perform sufficient verification of the JPEG2000 image metadata in the PDF file, which leads to out-of-bounds write in the heap buffer during decoding, potentially causing the program to crash and introducing the risk of arbitrary code execution. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-47341 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | qualcomm, fastconnect_6700_firmware, fastconnect_6900_firmware, fastconnect_7800_firmware | memory corruption while processing an image encoding completion event. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-91790 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader | When rendering the page image, Foxit PDF Editor/Reader fails to perform validation on image objects whose optional content attributes are malformed. As a result, the program may access an already-freed internal data structure, triggering a crash due to UAF. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-91789 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | foxit, pdf_editor, pdf_reader | Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s U3D/GIF texture decoding path contained insufficient validation of image dimensions and related size information. Under certain conditions, this could lead to an incorrectly sized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds write during pixel processing, potentially resulting in remote code execution. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72762 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n versions before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1 contain an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the Edit Image node, which passes its output format parameter to the underlying image library without validation. An authenticated user able to run workflows can supply a crafted format value to write arbitrary files outside the node's working directory on the n8n instance. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72591 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in gabehf/Koito through v0.3.2 allows an authenticated user to make the server perform HTTP requests to arbitrary internal or external hosts by supplying a crafted image_url value in the PATCH /apis/web/v1/album/{id}/image endpoint. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66041 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | ffmpeg | FFmpeg 7.0 through 8.1.2, fixed in commit 4da9812, contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the vf_quirc filter that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory by supplying a crafted PGS/SUP subtitle file with mismatched frame dimensions. Attackers can provide a subtitle file whose second presentation has larger dimensions than its first, causing av_image_copy_plane() to copy data exceeding the initial allocation size into the undersized libquirc grayscale image buffer, resulting in heap corruption and process crash with potential for code execution. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-59344 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing. A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the favicon extraction feature of AliasVault API versions 0.23.0 and lower. The extractor fetches a user-supplied URL, parses the returned HTML, and follows <link rel="icon" href="…">. Although the initial URL is validated to allow only HTTP/HTTPS with default ports, the extractor automatically follows redirects and does not block requests to loopback or internal IP ranges. An authenticated, low-privileged user can exploit this behavior to coerce the backend into making HTTP(S) requests to arbitrary internal hosts and non-default ports. If the target host serves a favicon or any other valid image, the response is returned to the attacker in Base64 form. Even when no data is returned, timing and error behavior can be abused to map internal services. This vulnerability only affects self-hosted AliasVault instances that are reachable from the public internet with public user registration enabled. Private/internal deployments without public sign-ups are not directly exploitable. This issue has been fixed in AliasVault release 0.23.1. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89720 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ubifs: fix out-of-bounds read in signature length check ubifs_sb_verify_signature() bounds the on-disk ubifs_sig_node->len field before handing the signature payload to verify_pkcs7_signature(), but the check has the wrong sign: if (le32_to_cpu(signode->len) > snod->len + sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node)) The signature bytes start sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node) (UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ, 64 bytes) into the node, so the payload is at most snod->len - sizeof(struct ubifs_sig_node) bytes long. Adding the header size instead of subtracting it accepts a declared length up to 2 * UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ larger than the node actually holds -- past the end of c->sbuf, which is vmalloc(c->leb_size). verify_pkcs7_signature() -> pkcs7_parse_message() -> asn1_ber_decoder() is then handed that inflated length and reads beyond the allocation while walking the DER headers. The node length comes straight from the mounted image, so a crafted signed UBIFS image reaches this via ubifs_read_superblock() before the signature is cryptographically checked. snod->len is guaranteed to be >= UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ by the node scanner (c->ranges[UBIFS_SIG_NODE].min_len == UBIFS_SIG_NODE_SZ), so the corrected subtraction cannot underflow. Legitimately signed images are unaffected: a correct superblock never declares a signature longer than the node it is embedded in. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72487 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Check ROM header and data structure addr before accessing We meet a crash when running stress-ng on x86_64 machine: BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffa0000007f40000 RIP: 0010:pci_get_rom_size+0x52/0x220 Call Trace: <TASK> pci_map_rom+0x80/0x130 pci_read_rom+0x4b/0xe0 kernfs_file_read_iter+0x96/0x180 vfs_read+0x1b1/0x300 Our analysis reveals that the ROM space's start address is 0xffa0000007f30000, and size is 0x10000. Because of broken ROM space, before calling readl(pds), the pds's value is 0xffa0000007f3ffff, which is already pointed to the ROM space end, invoking readl() would read 4 bytes therefore cause an out-of-bounds access and trigger a crash. Fix this by adding image header and data structure checking. We also found another crash on arm64 machine: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff8000dd1393ff Mem abort info: ESR = 0x0000000096000021 EC = 0x25: DABT (current EL), IL = 32 bits SET = 0, FnV = 0 EA = 0, S1PTW = 0 FSC = 0x21: alignment fault The call trace is the same with x86_64, but the crash reason is that the data structure addr is not aligned with 4, and arm64 machine report "alignment fault". Fix this by adding alignment checking. [bhelgaas: shorten function names, wrap comments] | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46569 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | tuxera, ntfs-3g | In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_ib_copy_tail(), in libntfs-3g/index.c, that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. The overflow is triggered by extending a directory, e.g., by creating a file. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45012 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions up to and including 4.29.0 contain an authenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) in the rich-text widget import flow. An authenticated user who can submit/edit rich-text widget content can cause the server to fetch attacker-controlled URLs during widget validation. For image-compatible responses, the fetched content can be persisted and re-hosted by Apostrophe, allowing response exfiltration. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-71427 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Office-PowerPoint-MCP-Server through 2.0.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows MCP callers to write and read files outside the working directory by supplying absolute paths or ../ sequences. Attackers can steer an AI agent via prompt injection to abuse save_presentation, open_presentation, or manage_image output_path to overwrite any server-writable file or load external files. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62297 | 7.5 high | — | agamnentzar, ag-psd | ag-psd is a JavaScript library for reading and writing Photoshop Document files. Before the allocation-limit remediation attempt in version 31.0.0, `readPsd()` commits image and layer buffers from attacker-declared PSD geometry before validating the declarations against the actual available data or sane allocation limits. The `psdReader.js` implementation sizes off-heap typed arrays using `width`, `height`, `channels`, `depth` and `per-layer rectangles`, so a tiny PSD declaring enormous geometry can force multi-gigabyte memory allocation before a later bounds error. The reported 52-byte input on Node 24 produced approximately 3.17 GB peak RSS before a RangeError; under memory pressure the process can be terminated before the error can be caught, and concurrent inputs can exhaust memory. Services reading untrusted PSDs are exposed to denial of service. This differs from genuinely large PSD files whose memory demand is proportional to real input content. Version 31.0.0 adds a composite-image allocation limit, but complete coverage of the separately described layer-rectangle allocation path is not established and requires curator residual/scope review. | 7 h ago |
| CVE-2026-118039 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In Progress® Telerik® Document Processing Libraries prior to version 2026.3.1027, an XML external entity reference vulnerability in SVG image processing allows an unauthenticated attacker to read local files on the server via a crafted SVG image with a nested embedded SVG, when the image is processed or exported to PDF. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33813 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | golang, image | Parsing a WEBP image with an invalid, large size panics on 32-bit platforms. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33359 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In Meari IoT Cloud alert image storage on Alibaba OSS (latest observed; storage service version not disclosed), motion snapshots are retrievable without authentication, signed URLs, or expiry enforcement. URLs function as direct object references and remain valid beyond expected operational windows. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33361 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In Meari IoT SDK image handling (libmrplayer.so) as observed in CloudEdge 5.5.0 (build 220), Arenti 1.8.1 (build 220), and related white-label apps (<= 1.8.x), baby monitor ".jpgx3" files use reversible XOR over only the first 1024 bytes with a predictable key derivation model. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-28954 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | apple, ipados, iphone_os, macos | A file quarantine bypass was addressed with additional checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.9 and iPadOS 18.7.9, macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5. A maliciously crafted disk image may bypass Gatekeeper checks. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39870 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | apple, macos | The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, macOS Sonoma 14.8.7, macOS Tahoe 26.5. Processing a maliciously crafted image may corrupt process memory. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19741 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Zephyr's OpenThread integration defined CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_JOINER_PSKD with default "J01NME" in modules/openthread/Kconfig.thread (previously subsys/net/l2/openthread/Kconfig, then subsys/net/l2/openthread/Kconfig.thread). J01NME is the example Joining Device Credential used throughout the public OpenThread and Thread commissioning documentation, including Zephyr's own samples/net/sockets/echo_client/README.rst, so it is not a secret. A firmware image built with CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_JOINER_AUTOSTART=y that never overrode the PSKd therefore shipped with a publicly known joining credential compiled in, with no build-time or run-time warning. The PSKd is the only value that authenticates Thread commissioning: joiner and commissioner run a DTLS-PSK handshake keyed on it, after which the commissioner supplies the full operational dataset. In ot_configure_instance() (modules/openthread/openthread.c), a device with no stored dataset calls otJoinerStart() with the configured PSKd, and ot_joiner_start_handler() calls otThreadSetEnabled() on success. An unauthenticated attacker within 802.15.4 radio range of an uncommissioned device (factory-fresh, after a factory reset, or after a settings erase) can run any stock Thread commissioner registered with J01NME, complete the handshake, and hand the device an attacker-controlled operational dataset. The device then joins and enables Thread on the attacker's mesh. The attacker becomes its router, seeing, dropping, injecting and spoofing all of the device's IPv6 traffic and impersonating the peers the application expects, while the device is cut off from the network it was meant to join and stays mis-provisioned until it is reset. Only application-layer security with independently provisioned credentials survives. Exposure is limited to builds that enable joiner autostart and leave the PSKd unset; the option is not enabled by default and no in-tree sample uses the vulnerable combination. The fix removes the default from CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_JOINER_PSKD and adds a BUILD_ASSERT() in modules/openthread/openthread.c, active only under CONFIG_OPENTHREAD_JOINER_AUTOSTART, that fails the build unless a 6-to-32-character PSKd is configured. Products should provision a per-device PSKd from factory data and call otJoinerStart() from the application rather than relying on a credential compiled identically into every unit. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54059 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, PIL/PcfFontFile.py _load_bitmaps() read glyph dimensions from the PCF METRICS section and passed them directly to Image.frombytes() without calling Image._decompression_bomb_check(), allowing crafted PCF font data to cause excessive memory allocation. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54060 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, PIL/FontFile.py FontFile.compile() assembled per-glyph images into a combined bitmap with Image.new("1", (xsize, ysize)) without calling Image._decompression_bomb_check(), allowing a font to trigger excessive allocation during conversion or saving. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57647 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Contributor Local File Inclusion in Panorama Viewer – 360 Degree Image + Video Viewer <= 1.6.1 versions. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57231 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | podman_project, podman | Podman is a tool for managing OCI containers and pods. From 1.8.1 until 5.8.4, a container image that contains a environment variable with just a key and no value can trick podman into passing that variable from the host into the container. This is made worse by the fact that using an asterisk (*) will cause podman to pass all host variables into the container. So essentially a malicious image can exfiltrate all podman environment variables that are set in the session from where the container is launched. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.8.4 and 6.0.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59198 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.2.0 until 12.3.0, Pillow's TGA RLE encoder reads past its packed row buffer when saving a mode 1 image with TGA RLE compression, allowing adjacent process heap bytes to be copied into the generated TGA file. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59199 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, Pillow public image coordinate APIs can trigger a native heap out-of-bounds write when given coordinates near the signed 32-bit integer limits in Image.paste(), Image.crop(), or Image.alpha_composite(). This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59203 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 12.0.0 through 12.2.0, Pillow's EPS parser in PIL/EpsImagePlugin.py accepts a negative byte count in the %%BeginBinary directive, allowing a crafted EPS file to cause Image.open() to seek backwards to the same directive and parse it repeatedly in an infinite loop. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59205 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | python, pillow | Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 12.3.0, Pillow's ImageCms.ImageCmsTransform.apply(im, imOut) API can trigger controlled native heap corruption when the caller supplies an output image whose mode does not match the transform's declared output mode. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47247 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | struktur, libheif | libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to version 1.22.0, two bugs in libheif chain to leak process heap memory as visible pixel values in decoded grid images. An attacker who uploads a crafted AVIF/HEIC file to any server-side image processor (WordPress, Sharp/libvips, ImageMagick, etc.) can recover heap data - including library function pointers sufficient to defeat ASLR, or any other secret - from the publicly-downloadable transcoded JPEG/PNG/WebP output. Local attack vectors are also possible. Version 1.22.0 fixes the issue. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70377 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | imagecli's pipeline operation (Scale::apply in src/image_ops.rs) computes output width/height as (dimension as f32 * ratio) as u32 with no upper-bound validation on the CLI-supplied ratio, which is parsed via nom::number::complete::float with no range check. Any application embedding imagecli as a library and accepting user-controlled pipeline strings is remotely crashable with a single request. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70378 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | imagecli's pipeline operation (Carve::apply in src/image_ops.rs) only asserts , never validating that the ratio is positive. A negative ratio (e.g. -5) causes the computed target width to saturate to 0 via Rust's defined float-to-uint cast, which is then passed to imageproc::seam_carving::shrink_width — a function that panics when given a width below 2, crashing the process. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64799 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - SSRF via remote image downloads in Articles Anywhere and Users Anywhere extensions - Content-controlled image URLs could request private or reserved network services, follow unsafe redirects and save responses without validating that they were images. This could result in SSRF, internal-data access or writing attacker-controlled files into a web-accessible folder. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106113 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | sixlabors, imagesharp | ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.0.0 until 4.1.2, decoding an attacker-supplied 32-bit floating-point TIFF as Image<HalfVector4> and applying HistogramEqualization can produce a non-finite or out-of-range luminance in ColorNumerics.GetBT709Luminance. GrayscaleLevelsRowOperation.Invoke uses the resulting value as an unchecked histogram offset, causing an unsafe out-of-range access and process termination. Adaptive Histogram Equalization and AutoLevel are not affected by this report. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62663 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Banks generates meaningful LLM prompts using a simple template language. In versions prior to 2.4.4, all four media filters (image, audio, video, document) in banks accept untrusted user input as file paths via Path(value) and pass them directly to open(file_path, "rb") without any path sanitization, canonicalization, or directory restriction. An attacker who controls template variables passed to a banks Prompt can use path traversal (../) to read arbitrary files accessible to the Python process—including .env files, SSH keys, cloud credentials, source code, /etc/passwd, and /etc/shadow—with the content returned base64-encoded in the rendered prompt output, making exfiltration trivial. This is particularly dangerous for applications that use banks to process user-provided template variables before sending prompts to an LLM. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.4. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19082 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Imager versions from 0.45_02 before 1.034 for Perl may expose adjacent heap bytes via strlen() over-read from zero-count ASCII EXIF entries in copy_string_tags. copy_string_tags() computes an ASCII EXIF tag's length as `entry->size - 1` to strip the trailing NUL. A zero-count ASCII entry sets `entry->size` to 0, and the derived length reaches i_tags_add() as -1, which is interpreted as a request to call strlen(), scanning past the entry to the next NUL and copying those bytes into the tag. JPEG reaches this path via im_decode_exif(), as does the separate Imager::File::WEBP distribution, which is fixed by upgrading Imager. Any caller of Imager->read() on an attacker-supplied image with such an entry may receive an exif_* tag holding adjacent heap bytes instead of an empty string. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106565 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | imagemagick | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-32 and 6.9.13-57, a missing end-of-file check while reading bzip2-compressed image data can cause an infinite loop and exhaust processing resources. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-32 and 6.9.13-57. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-97328 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The WebP Express WordPress plugin before 0.25.16 does not escape values that its bundled HTML parser re-emits into element attributes when a non-default image delivery mode is enabled, allowing unauthenticated users to submit content that is stored and later executed as Cross-Site Scripting in the browser of any user viewing an affected page, including administrators. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106573 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | imagemagick | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56, a missing limit check in the MVG decoder allows a crafted MVG image to trigger an excessively long-running operation. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106578 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | imagemagick | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56, a crafted image can cause an invalid memory free in the MVG decoder and crash the process. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106579 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | imagemagick | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56, a crafted image can bypass an ImageMagick security policy that uses coder as its domain, potentially allowing data prohibited by the policy to be read. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-31 and 6.9.13-56. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107209 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | imagemagick | ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-30 and 6.9.13-55, when ImageMagick is built without Cairo support, a crafted RSVG image that reaches a resource limit can cause the RSVG decoder to free image state twice and then use freed memory, crashing the process. This issue is fixed in versions 7.1.2-30 and 6.9.13-55. | 21 Oct |
