CVE-2026-40887 9.1 critical 2.0% no CPE yet Vendure is an open-source headless commerce platform. Starting in version 1.7.4 and prior to versions 2.3.4, 3.5.7, and 3.6.2, an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability exists in the Vendure Shop API. A user-controlled query string parameter is interpolated directly into a raw SQL expression without parameterization or validation, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary SQL against the database. This affects all supported database backends (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite). The Admin API is also affected, though exploitation there requires authentication. Versions 2.3.4, 3.5.7, and 3.6.2 contain a patch. For those who are unable to upgrade immediately, Vendure has made a hotfix available that uses `RequestContextService.getLanguageCode` to validate the `languageCode` input at the boundary. This blocks injection payloads before they can reach any query. The hotfix replaces the existing `getLanguageCode` method in `packages/core/src/service/helpers/request-context/request-context.service.ts`. Invalid values are silently dropped and the channel's default language is used instead. The patched versions additionally convert the vulnerable SQL interpolation to a parameterized query as defense in depth. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-9230 7.5 high 2.0% no CPE yet Issue summary: An application trying to decrypt CMS messages encrypted using password based encryption can trigger an out-of-bounds read and write. Impact summary: This out-of-bounds read may trigger a crash which leads to Denial of Service for an application. The out-of-bounds write can cause a memory corruption which can have various consequences including a Denial of Service or Execution of attacker-supplied code. Although the consequences of a successful exploit of this vulnerability could be severe, the probability that the attacker would be able to perform it is low. Besides, password based (PWRI) encryption support in CMS messages is very rarely used. For that reason the issue was assessed as Moderate severity according to our Security Policy. The FIPS modules in 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue, as the CMS implementation is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-71364 7.2 high 2.0% no CPE yet A path traversal vulnerability was found in AWX's project archive extraction. The project_archive action plugin extracts zip and tar archive members by joining the project directory path with the member filename without performing path normalization, boundary validation, or rejecting directory traversal sequences. A malicious archive containing members with path traversal components can write files to arbitrary locations on the execution node's filesystem outside the intended project directory. An attacker who controls the archive content, either through a compromised upstream source, a malicious archive URL, or a man-in-the-middle attack on a plain HTTP connection, can achieve arbitrary file writes as the user performing the extraction, potentially leading to remote code execution through mechanisms such as cron files, SSH authorized keys, or playbook content injection. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-73851 6.1 medium 2.0% no CPE yet Kiota is an OpenAPI based HTTP Client code generator. Prior to 1.29.1 and 1.34.0, an attacker who controls or tampers with the OpenAPI description consumed by Kiota can supply a file reference that resolves outside the manifest package (e.g. ../../../../etc/passwd, an absolute path, or a file:// / http(s):// URI). When the generated manifest is deployed and consumed by an AI host, this can lead to inclusion or disclosure of files outside the intended package boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.29.1 and 1.34.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-65974 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.111.0 and 16.22.0, limited authenticated users can cross a permission boundary in Frappe safe execution because frappe.render_template is exposed without forcing restrict_globals, allowing server-side template injection and remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 15.111.0 and 16.22.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-42854 9.8 critical 1.0% espressif, arduino-esp32 arduino-esp32 is an Arduino core for the ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3, ESP32-C6 and ESP32-H2 microcontrollers. Prior to 3.3.8, the WebServer multipart form parser in arduino-esp32 allocates a Variable Length Array (VLA) on the stack whose size is derived from an attacker-controlled HTTP header field (Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=...) without enforcing any length limit. Sending a boundary string longer than ~8000 characters overflows the 8192-byte task stack of the loopTask, causing a crash and potential remote code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.3.8. CVE-2026-16350 9.8 critical 1.0% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Incorrect boundary conditions in the Audio/Video: cubeb component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 115.38, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16357 9.8 critical 1.0% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 115.38, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16368 9.8 critical 1.0% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Incorrect boundary conditions in the JavaScript: WebAssembly component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16389 9.8 critical 1.0% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Incorrect boundary conditions, integer overflow in the Libraries component in NSS. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153 and Thunderbird 153. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-71289 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The NASA-AMMOS Asynchronous Network Management System (ANMS) reference implementation's default docker-compose.yml publishes the amp-manager service's REST API directly to the host network interface (port 8089, e.g. ":8089/tcp") with cap_add: NET_ADMIN, NET_RAW, SYS_NICE, bypassing the CAM (Configuration and Access Manager) gateway that is otherwise the system's sole authentication boundary. CVE-2026-74752 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate cookie AUTH state before use When cookie authentication is disabled, COOKIE_ECHO restores fixed-size AUTH fields directly from peer-controlled cookie bytes. A forged RANDOM length, HMAC list, or CHUNKS list can then reach association consumers with lengths or identifiers that were never validated against the local backing arrays. A forged RANDOM length can cause out-of-bounds reads during key-vector construction. A forged HMAC identifier also caused a 32-byte write past a zero-length AUTH chunk, providing a primitive for a local privilege escalation chain. Validate the cookie's RANDOM, HMACS, and CHUNKS parameters at the cookie trust boundary before copying them into the association. Reject invalid types, malformed lengths, unsupported HMAC identifiers, HMAC lists without SHA1, and forbidden chunk ids. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-74723 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: lzo: reject inline extents without valid headers [BUG] For a crafted btrfs image, the following KASAN can be triggered when reading an inline lzo compressed file extent: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in lzo_decompress+0x57d/0x700 Read of size 4 at addr ffff888006f2e644 by task btrfs_lzo_inlin/77 Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x5b/0x70 print_report+0xd1/0x610 kasan_report+0xe0/0x110 __asan_report_load_n_noabort+0x13/0x20 lzo_decompress+0x57d/0x700 btrfs_decompress+0x140/0x1c0 uncompress_inline+0x147/0x1b0 btrfs_get_extent+0xb23/0x10a0 btrfs_do_readpage.constprop.0+0x538/0x1ac0 btrfs_readahead+0x32f/0x5f0 read_pages+0x16f/0x850 page_cache_ra_unbounded+0x296/0x490 do_page_cache_ra+0xd9/0x130 page_cache_sync_ra+0x3ee/0x6f0 filemap_get_pages+0x306/0x15c0 filemap_read+0x329/0xd00 btrfs_file_read_iter+0x1f8/0x2b0 vfs_read+0x4ef/0x720 ksys_read+0xf8/0x1d0 __x64_sys_read+0x71/0xb0 x64_sys_call+0x1ab0/0x1b70 do_syscall_64+0x61/0x470 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 </TASK> [CAUSE] For an inline lzo compressed file extent, there should always be one lzo header, recording the total length of the compressed data, followed by one segment header, recording the compressed lzo payload. But if a crafted inline lzo compressed file extent contains only an lzo header, without the segment header or payload, lzo_decompress() will still try to read the segment header, causing a read beyond the item boundary. Furthermore if the inline lzo compressed file extent is the first item of the leaf, it will be at the extent buffer boundary. The above out-of-boundary read will go beyond the extent buffer boundary, triggering the above KASAN report. [FIX] Validate the total length of the inlined lzo compressed file extent, to make sure there is at least one LZO header and one segment header, and a non-zero payload. CVE-2026-89689 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: don't free session slots that are still in use nfsd4_sequence() can free the very slot it is currently processing. When the session shrinker has reduced se_target_maxslots below se_fchannel.maxreqs, the shrink path checks three conditions before calling free_session_slots(): 1. se_target_maxslots < maxreqs (shrink was advertised) 2. slot->sl_generation == se_slot_gen (slot is up-to-date) 3. seq->maxslots <= se_target_maxslots (client acknowledges) However, seq->slotid is never checked against se_target_maxslots. A client using a slot in the range [se_target_maxslots, maxreqs) can satisfy all three conditions: its slot has the current generation (set by a prior SEQUENCE), and it sends sa_highest_slotid <= se_target_maxslots to acknowledge the reduction. free_session_slots() then kfrees every slot at index >= se_target_maxslots, including the caller's own slot. The function continues to write sl_seqid, sl_flags, sl_generation, and stores the dangling pointer in cstate->slot. Later, nfsd4_store_cache_entry() copies up to maxresp_cached bytes of the compound reply into the freed sl_data[] array, corrupting whatever slab object now occupies that address. Additionally, a concurrent thread processing SEQUENCE on a different high-numbered slot can have its slot freed out from under it. NFSD4_SLOT_INUSE is set under nn->client_lock before the lock is released, so any concurrent thread past SEQUENCE will have its slot marked. However, free_session_slots() does not check NFSD4_SLOT_INUSE before freeing. Fix both problems by: 1. Checking that the current request's slotid is below the shrink boundary. 2. Scanning slots in the to-be-freed range for NFSD4_SLOT_INUSE and deferring the shrink if any are active. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89611 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: validate non-resident attribute offsets ntfs_attr_update_meta() shifts the attribute name when converting between non-sparse and sparse attributes. Converting to sparse also adds the compressed_size field before the name and mapping pairs, requiring eight additional bytes in the attribute record. However, the validator does not check that name_offset is within safe boundaries for these operations or that the additional space is available. A malicious MFT record could set name_offset such that: 1. The name is positioned at the very end of a non-sparse attribute. Converting to sparse would shift the name forward by 8 bytes, writing beyond the attribute boundary. 2. The name overlaps with the mapping pairs, causing corruption during conversion. Add validation to ensure: - For named attributes, name_offset is within valid bounds - Name does not extend beyond the attribute or overlap with mapping pairs - For non-sparse, non-compressed attributes, eight bytes are available after mapping_pairs_offset for the compressed_size field The space check also covers unnamed attributes, for which name_offset = 0 is valid and no name range needs to be checked. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89610 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: verify run length exceeding volume boundary The mapping pairs decoder validates that the starting LCN is within the volume but does not check if the run extends beyond the volume boundary. A malformed NTFS image with a crafted mapping pairs array could cause the kernel to access memory beyond the volume boundary, potentially leading to memory corruption and privilege escalation. Add validation to ensure lcn + length stays within nr_clusters. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89533 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: svcrdma: Fix offset arithmetic in read_chunk_range svc_rdma_read_chunk_range() walks a Read chunk's segment list to build a sub-range starting at byte offset and spanning length bytes for a Position-Zero or Call chunk. Two arithmetic defects in the per-segment loop produce wrong DMA lengths and a u32 underflow: pcl_for_each_segment(segment, chunk) { if (offset > segment->rs_length) { offset -= segment->rs_length; continue; } dummy.rs_handle = segment->rs_handle; dummy.rs_length = min_t(u32, length, segment->rs_length) - offset; dummy.rs_offset = segment->rs_offset + offset; First, the skip predicate uses '>' instead of '>='. When offset equals the segment's full rs_length, the segment is fully consumed and should be skipped, but the loop falls through into the body. The resulting dummy.rs_length is min_t(u32, length, rs_length) - rs_length, which underflows to a near-UINT_MAX u32 when length is smaller than rs_length, or is zero otherwise. Second, the length formula subtracts offset from the min_t() result rather than from segment->rs_length before the cap. For offset > 0 the segment's residual is rs_length - offset, not rs_length, so the cap must be applied to the residual. With the current bracketing, whenever length is smaller than rs_length - offset the per-segment length becomes length - offset instead of length, silently dropping offset bytes from the rebuilt chunk. Combined with the boundary case above it also enables the u32 underflow path, which propagates a huge nr_bvec into svc_rdma_build_read_segment() and a multi-MiB kmalloc_array_node() in svc_rdma_get_rw_ctxt(). Additionally, svc_rdma_read_call_chunk() can invoke this function with length == 0 when the last Read chunk ends exactly at the end of the Call chunk. With the corrected >= predicate, every segment is skipped and the function returns the initial -EINVAL, rejecting a valid request. Return success immediately when length is zero. Also break out of the loop once length is fully consumed to avoid passing zero-length segments to svc_rdma_build_read_segment(). Fix by using '>=' so a fully-consumed segment is skipped, by moving '- offset' inside min_t() so the cap is applied to the segment's residual length, by returning success for zero-length requests, and by stopping iteration when the requested range has been consumed. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-80561 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix multiple unsafe decodes in decode_locker() decode_locker() in cls_lock_client.c contains three unsafe decode operations that allow a malicious or compromised OSD to trigger slab-out-of-bounds reads: 1. ceph_decode_copy() at the locker_id_t name field has no preceding bounds check. With p == end after ceph_start_decoding() accepts struct_len=0, this reads sizeof(ceph_entity_name) = 9 bytes past the validated buffer boundary. 2. *p += sizeof(struct ceph_timespec) after the locker_info_t header is an unchecked pointer advance. A malicious OSD can position p past end, causing all subsequent _safe checks to pass against a bogus boundary. 3. len = ceph_decode_32(p) has no preceding bounds check, and the immediately following *p += len is uncapped. A malicious OSD can send len=0xffffffff, advancing p gigabytes past end and escaping the decode window entirely. Fix all three by replacing bare operations with their safe variants: ceph_decode_copy -> ceph_decode_copy_safe *p += sizeof(...) -> ceph_decode_skip_n ceph_decode_32(p) -> ceph_decode_32_safe *p += len -> ceph_decode_skip_n A new label is added to return -EINVAL on any bounds violation. -EINVAL is appropriate here: the data received from the OSD is structurally malformed, which is an invalid argument to the decode contract regardless of whether the caller or the wire is at fault. Attacker model: a malicious or compromised OSD in a multi-tenant Ceph deployment can trigger this against any kernel client that issues the lock.get_info class method (e.g. during RBD exclusive lock acquisition) without any further privileges beyond OSD session establishment. CVE-2026-80557 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix OOB read in decode_watchers() via missing bounds check ceph_start_decoding() validates that struct_len bytes remain in the buffer after the encoding header, but accepts struct_len=0 as valid: ceph_decode_need(p, end, 0, bad) always passes. When a malicious or compromised OSD sends an obj_list_watch_response_t reply with struct_len=0, ceph_start_decoding() returns success with p == end, leaving zero bytes guaranteed for subsequent reads. The immediately following ceph_decode_32(p) in decode_watchers() has no preceding bounds check. With p == end this is a 4-byte read past the validated buffer boundary. The garbage value is then passed directly to kzalloc_objs() as the watcher count. The sibling function decode_watcher() already uses the safe variants (ceph_decode_copy_safe, ceph_decode_64_safe, ceph_decode_skip_32) after its own ceph_start_decoding() call. decode_watchers() is the only site that uses the bare variant, confirming an oversight. Fix by replacing ceph_decode_32(p) with ceph_decode_32_safe(p, end, *num_watchers, bad), consistent with the established pattern. Attacker model: a malicious or compromised OSD in a multi-tenant Ceph deployment (e.g. cloud) can trigger this against any kernel client that calls CEPH_OSD_OP_LIST_WATCHERS, without any further privileges beyond OSD session establishment. CVE-2026-72129 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-rdma: handle inline data with a nonzero offset nvmet_rdma_use_inline_sg() maps the host-controlled inline data offset into the per-command inline scatterlist. The bounds check admits any offset with off + len <= inline_data_size, but the mapping still assumes the data begins in the first inline page: sg->offset = off; sg->length = min_t(int, len, PAGE_SIZE - off); When a port is configured with inline_data_size > PAGE_SIZE (settable up to max(SZ_16K, PAGE_SIZE)), an offset in (PAGE_SIZE, inline_data_size] makes "PAGE_SIZE - off" underflow, so sg->length is set to ~4 GiB and the block backend reads far past the first inline page. num_pages(len) also ignores the offset, so an in-bounds offset whose [off, off+len) span crosses a page boundary under-counts the scatterlist. Map the offset properly: split it into a page index and an in-page offset, start the scatterlist at that page, and size the page count from page_off + len. Because the request scatterlist may now start at inline_sg[page_idx] rather than inline_sg[0], generalize the inline-SGL identity test in nvmet_rdma_release_rsp() to a range test; otherwise the persistent inline scatterlist is mistaken for an allocated one and nvmet_req_free_sgls() frees an inline page (and warns in free_large_kmalloc()). 16 Oct
CVE-2025-68284 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: prevent potential out-of-bounds writes in handle_auth_session_key() The len field originates from untrusted network packets. Boundary checks have been added to prevent potential out-of-bounds writes when decrypting the connection secret or processing service tickets. [ idryomov: changelog ] 15 Oct
CVE-2026-45311 9.6 critical 1.0% no CPE yet CodeWhale is a DeepSeek + MiMo coding agent in terminal. From 0.3.0 to 0.8.23, the run_tests tool executes cargo test in the workspace with ApprovalRequirement::Auto, meaning it runs without any user approval prompt. cargo test compiles and executes arbitrary code: test binaries, build.rs build scripts, and proc macros. While auto-approving test execution is a deliberate design choice, it creates an inconsistency in the security boundary. However, in a malicious repository, test code can execute arbitrary shell commands, exfiltrate credentials, or establish persistence with zero approval. The attack is amplified by AGENTS.md (auto-loaded into the system prompt), which can instruct the model to run tests proactively at session start. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.23. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-70470 9.5 critical 1.0% flowiseai, flowise Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.3, Flowise validatePythonCodeForDataFrame in packages/components/src/pythonCodeValidator.ts can be bypassed with Unicode homoglyph identifiers, allowing arbitrary Python execution inside Pyodide and full OS command execution on the Flowise host via Pyodide js module interop. The validator gates pyodide.runPythonAsync in packages/components/nodes/agents/CSVAgent/CSVAgent.ts and packages/components/nodes/agents/AirtableAgent/AirtableAgent.ts with an ASCII word-boundary blacklist. JavaScript regex word boundaries are ASCII-only, while Python 3 NFKC-normalizes identifiers at parse time, so homoglyph forms such as __cl𝐚ss__, __subcl𝐚sses__, __b𝐚se__, and __b𝐮iltins__ bypass the blacklist and are parsed as their ASCII equivalents. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-40076 9.4 critical 1.0% openmrs OpenMRS Core is an open source electronic medical record system platform. In versions 2.7.8 and earlier and versions 2.8.0 through 2.8.5, the module upload endpoint at POST `/openmrs/ws/rest/v1/module` is vulnerable to a Zip Slip path traversal attack. During automatic extraction of uploaded .omod archives in `WebModuleUtil.startModule()`, ZIP entries under web/module/ are checked only to see whether the full entry path starts with `..,` and the remaining path is then concatenated into the destination path without normalization or a boundary check. A crafted archive can therefore include entries such as `web/module/../../../../malicious.jsp` and cause files to be written outside the intended module directory. An authenticated attacker with module upload access can write arbitrary files to locations such as the web application root and achieve remote code execution by uploading a JSP file and then requesting it. The issue is compounded by the fact that the module.allow_web_admin runtime property is enforced in the legacy UI controller but not in the REST API upload path, so deployments relying on that property to block web-based module administration remain exposed through the REST endpoint. This issue has been fixed in versions after 2.7.8 in the 2.7.x line and in version 2.8.6 and later. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-73483 9.4 critical 1.0% flowiseai, flowise Flowise (packages flowise and flowise-components) in versions <= 3.1.2 contain a sandbox escape in the vm2/@flowiseai/nodevm JavaScript sandbox. An authenticated user with access to the /api/v1/node-custom-function endpoint can escape the sandbox by supplying attacker-controlled executablePath and args parameters to puppeteer.launch(), which internally invokes child_process.spawn() outside the sandbox boundary. This allows execution of arbitrary OS commands as the Flowise process user (root in the official Docker image) and arbitrary host file disclosure via Chromium's file:// URL handling. In versions 3.0.8–3.1.2 exploitation requires ALLOW_BUILTIN_DEP=true; earlier versions are exploitable by default. Fixed in 3.1.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-58370 9.2 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Woodpecker before 3.15.0 matches the ApprovalAllowedUsers bypass list against pipeline.Author. For the GitLab forge driver, pipeline.Author is populated from the git commit author name (commit.author.name) carried in the webhook payload, which is attacker-controlled and not verified by GitLab. A user who can open a merge request from a fork can set the commit author name to match an entry in ApprovalAllowedUsers, causing needsApproval to return false so the pipeline runs without the required approval. This defeats the fork-approval security boundary and allows execution of attacker-controlled pipeline steps on a Woodpecker agent and exfiltration of CI secrets exposed to the run. Other built-in forge drivers (Gitea, Forgejo, GitHub, Bitbucket) derive pipeline.Author from the forge-validated sender/actor identity and are not affected. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-16393 9.1 critical 1.0% mozilla, firefox, thunderbird Incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: WebGPU component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 153 and Thunderbird 153. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-73257 9.1 critical 1.0% cesanta, mongoose Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Priro to version 7.22, a remote unauthenticated attacker can send an HTTP request containing both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding: chunked. The cl_count and te_count checks in the mg_http_parse() and http_cb() paths in src/http.c accept both headers and prioritize chunked encoding, while a Content-Length-preferring reverse proxy can use a different request boundary. This CL.TE desynchronization can inject requests that access or modify resources in another user context. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-41208 8.8 high 1.0% paperclip, paperclipai Paperclip is a Node.js server and React UI that orchestrates a team of AI agents to run a business. Versions of @paperclipai/server prior to 2026.416.0 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows an attacker with an Agent API key to execute arbitrary OS commands on the Paperclip server host. An attacker with an agent credential can escalate privileges from the agent runtime to the Paperclip server host. The vulnerability occurs because agents are allowed to update their own adapterConfig via the /agents/:id API endpoint. The configuration field adapterConfig.workspaceStrategy.provisionCommand is later executed by the server runtime. As a result, an attacker controlling an agent credential can inject arbitrary shell commands which are executed by the Paperclip server during workspace provisioning. This breaks the intended trust boundary between agent runtime configuration and server host execution, allowing a compromised or malicious agent to escalate privileges and run commands on the host system. This vulnerability allows remote code execution on the server host. @paperclipai/server version 2026.416.0 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45230 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet DumbAssets through 1.0.11 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the POST /api/delete-file endpoint and filesToDelete array parameters that allows unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files by supplying ../ sequences that bypass directory boundary validation. Attackers can exploit the optional and disabled-by-default authentication control to traverse outside the intended application directory and delete critical files such as server.js or package.json, causing complete denial of service. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49127 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Music Player Daemon (MPD) before version 0.24.11 contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the pcm_unpack_24be function in src/pcm/Pack.cxx that allows unauthenticated attackers to corrupt stack memory by triggering an off-by-one write in the PCM decoder plugin. Attackers can issue two MPD commands referencing a malicious HTTP audio source to cause the unpack loop to write 1366 entries into a 1365-entry buffer, overwriting four bytes past the array boundary with three attacker-controlled bytes from an HTTP response body, resulting in daemon termination or potential code execution. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49221 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to 1.0.8.4, Vvveb backend digital asset operations allow a low-privileged Vendor to access digital assets linked to another Vendor's products. The admin/controller/product/digital-asset.php and admin/controller/product/digital-assets.php controllers and the admin/sql/sqlite/digital_asset.sql data queries use a caller-controlled digital_asset_id without consistently enforcing the current admin_id ownership boundary. An attacker can list assets, read asset names and file metadata, edit asset metadata, or delete asset records, which can disclose private product metadata, corrupt resource links, and cause data loss. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.8.4. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-54449 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet LangBot is a global IM bot platform designed for LLMs. In version 4.10.7 and earlier, any authenticated user can add or change an STDIO MCP server configuration without an adequate authorization boundary. In src/langbot/pkg/provider/tools/loaders/mcp.py, StdioServerParameters accepts the configured command and arguments and starts a server-side subprocess on the LangBot server. An attacker who can sign up or obtain an account can use the Extensions MCP configuration to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the LangBot service, enabling data disclosure, modification, and service disruption. No fixed version is available as of this review. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-32145 8.7 high 1.0% gleam-wisp, wisp Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in gleam-wisp wisp allows a denial of service via multipart form body parsing. The multipart_body function bypasses configured max_body_size and max_files_size limits. When a multipart boundary is not present in a chunk, the parser takes the MoreRequiredForBody path, which appends the chunk to the output but passes the quota unchanged to the recursive call. Only the final chunk containing the boundary is counted via decrement_quota. The same pattern exists in multipart_headers, where MoreRequiredForHeaders recurses without calling decrement_body_quota. An unauthenticated attacker can exhaust server memory or disk by sending arbitrarily large multipart form submissions in a single HTTP request. This issue affects wisp: from 0.2.0 before 2.2.2. CVE-2026-12044 8.7 high 1.0% pgadmin, pgadmin_4 SQL injection in pgAdmin 4 across every dialog template that renders ``COMMENT ON ... IS '<description>'`` for a user-supplied description field. The Jinja templates for Domains (and their constraints), Foreign Tables, Languages, and Event Triggers, plus the Views OID-lookup query, interpolated the description directly inside a single-quoted SQL literal -- ``'{{ data.description }}'`` -- instead of passing it through the ``qtLiteral`` escape filter. An authenticated pgAdmin user with permission to create or alter the affected object types could submit a description containing an apostrophe, break out of the literal and chain arbitrary SQL. The injected SQL runs under the PostgreSQL role the user is already authenticated as; for a connected role with ``COPY ... TO/FROM PROGRAM`` (typically PostgreSQL superuser), this chains to OS command execution on the PostgreSQL host. The defect does not cross a privilege boundary -- the user already has direct SQL access to that role through pgAdmin's Query Tool -- so the attacker gains no capability beyond what their database role already grants. The marginal impact captures bypass of any application-layer Query Tool gating an operator may have configured. The defect was originally reported against the Domain Dialog ``description`` field; a code-wide audit identified sixteen sites of the same pattern across the templates listed above. The same review also surfaced ten related sinks in the pgstattuple/pgstatindex stats templates -- ``pgstattuple('{{schema}}.{{table}}')`` and the matching pgstatindex shape -- where ``qtIdent`` escapes embedded double quotes inside the identifier but not apostrophes, so a user with CREATE privilege on a schema could plant a table or index named ``foo'bar`` and a later stats viewer would render an unbalanced literal. Fix is layered: 1. Sites: replace every ``'{{ x.description }}'`` with ``{{ x.description|qtLiteral(conn) }}`` (no surrounding quotes -- the filter wraps the value in escaped quotes itself). Plumb ``conn=self.conn`` through every ``render_template`` call that loads one of these templates. Also corrects a ``{ % elif`` Jinja typo in the foreign-table schema diff (dead branch). Rewrite the ten pgstattuple/pgstatindex stats sites to address the relation via OID + ``::oid::regclass`` cast (e.g. ``pgstattuple({{ tid }}::oid::regclass)``), eliminating the embedded literal-call form entirely so that bug-class can no longer recur there. 2. Driver hardening: ``qtLiteral`` (in ``utils/driver/psycopg3/__init__.py``) used to silently return the raw unescaped value when its ``conn`` argument was falsy. It now raises ``ValueError`` -- surfacing the entire bug class going forward. The change immediately uncovered eight latent plumbing bugs (in ``schemas/__init__.py``, ``schemas/functions/__init__.py``, ``schemas/tables/utils.py``, ``foreign_servers/__init__.py``, and seven sites in ``roles/__init__.py``) -- all fixed as part of this patch. The inner ``except`` block that swallowed adapter-level failures and returned the raw value is also removed, so unadaptable inputs raise instead of leaking unescaped values. 3. Regression tests: a per-template behavioural test renders each previously-vulnerable template with an apostrophe-injection payload and asserts the escaped fragment is present and the vulnerable fragment absent; a lint test walks every ``*.sql`` template flagging any ``'{{ ... }}'`` single-quote-wrapped interpolation against an explicit allowlist; unit tests cover the new qtLiteral fail-fast and inner-except raise paths. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from 1.0 before 9.16. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-8170 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The mv, cp, and rm file utilities exposed within the ExtremeXOS (EXOS) shell environment fail to safely canonicalize paths and follow symbolic links outside of the intended privilege boundary. An attacker with low-privilege CLI access can create a symbolic link that references a privileged filesystem location and then invoke the affected utilities to read, modify, or replace security-critical files outside of their authorized scope. Under certain conditions, this may enable escalation to root-level access and persistent modification of the device software stack. Exploitation is possible remotely by an attacker holding a low-privilege account, or locally via the serial console. Extreme would like to thank Hadrien Barral (Université Gustave Eiffel) and Georges-Axel Jaloyan (French Ministry of the Interior) for responsible disclosure of their findings. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64830 8.7 high 1.0% ffmpeg FFmpeg versions 2.1 through 8.1.2 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the VobSub subtitle demuxer that allows attackers to corrupt adjacent heap memory by supplying a malicious .sub/.idx subtitle file declaring more distinct stream IDs than the fixed-size array bounds in libavformat/mpeg.c. Attackers can craft a subtitle file with excessive distinct stream IDs to trigger unbounded writes beyond the vobsub->q[] array boundary via ff_subtitles_queue_insert(), potentially achieving arbitrary code execution in any application using FFmpeg's VobSub demuxer. CVE-2026-76073 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Label Studio does not scope the annotation detail endpoint to the requesting user's organization. AnnotationAPI in label_studio/tasks/api.py declares queryset = Annotation.objects.all() and provides no get_queryset override, so the default lookup retrieves any annotation by primary key. The view's permission_required entries name annotations.view, annotations.change and annotations.delete, and label_studio/core/permissions.py registers every permission with rules.is_authenticated, so the check is satisfied by any logged-in account and no object-level organization test runs. The sibling task endpoint does constrain its queryset with project__organization set to the requester's active organization, which is the boundary this path omits. Annotation identifiers are sequential integers, so an authenticated user of one organization can enumerate identifiers to read, modify and delete annotations belonging to other organizations on the same instance. The same unscoped queryset appears on AnnotationConvertAPI in the same file. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-58014 8.6 high 1.0% gnome, redhat, glib, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the g_key_file_get_locale_string_list function in the gkeyfile.c file when loading a key file with an empty value. This flaw can cause an out-of-bounds access of 1 byte or a denial of service when the out-of-bounds access crosses a page boundary. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-64400 8.6 high 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: prevent path traversal bypass by restricting caseless retry ksmbd_vfs_path_lookup() enforces LOOKUP_BENEATH to restrict path resolution within the share root. When a crafted path attempts to escape the share boundary using parent-directory components ('..'), vfs_path_parent_lookup() detects this and immediately fails, returning -EXDEV. However, a bug exists in __ksmbd_vfs_kern_path() under caseless mode. The function fails to intercept the -EXDEV error and erroneously falls through to the caseless retry logic, which is intended only for genuinely missing files. During this retry process, the path is reconstructed, leading to an unintended LOOKUP_BENEATH bypass that allows write-capable users to create zero-length files or directories outside the exported share. Fix this by ensuring that the execution only proceeds to the caseless lookup retry when the error is specifically -ENOENT. Any other errors, such as -EXDEV from a path traversal attempt, must be returned immediately. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-76832 8.5 high 1.0% agno agi, agno Agno's PythonTools in libs/agno/agno/tools/python.py contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to read, write, or execute arbitrary files by supplying parent-directory traversal sequences in the file_name argument passed to read_file, save_to_file, or run_python_file tool actions. Attackers can inject traversal sequences such as '../../../../../../etc/passwd' through direct tool invocation or via prompt injection embedded in agent-processed content to escape the intended base_dir boundary and achieve arbitrary file read, arbitrary file write, or arbitrary Python code execution within the process user's authority. CVE-2026-34176 8.5 high 1.0% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When running in Appliance mode, an authenticated remote command injection vulnerability exists in an undisclosed iControl REST endpoint. A successful exploit can allow the attacker to cross a security boundary. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-67345 8.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet MaxKey through 4.1.12, fixed in commit ddbb72f, contains an insufficient redirect URI validation vulnerability in DefaultRedirectResolver.hostMatches() that allows remote attackers to hijack OAuth 2.0 authorization codes by supplying a crafted redirect_uri whose hostname suffix matches a registered URI without proper dot-boundary anchoring. Attackers who control a domain ending with the registered redirect URI hostname can social-engineer victims into clicking a crafted authorization URL, causing the authorization code to be issued to the attacker-controlled URI and exchanged for an access token granting access to the victim's identity. CVE-2026-107815 8.5 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the CONNECT engine's DOS table type used an incorrect boundary check that permitted a one-byte null write beyond a stack buffer at an attacker-controlled offset. An authenticated user able to use the CONNECT engine could cause a crash and potentially remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-49238 8.4 high 1.0% canonical, multipass An issue was discovered in Canonical Multipass before version 1.16.3. The host-side SFTP server component (sshfs_server), which executes with root privileges on the host, contains a path containment bypass vulnerability within its validate_path function in src/sshfs_mount/sftp_server.cpp. The function performs a plain string prefix comparison on requested paths without path separator validation or dot-dot (..) normalization. A local attacker with root privileges inside a guest virtual machine can bypass the FUSE layer by injecting raw SFTP frames (such as an SSH_FXP_OPEN request) directly into the sshfs_server process stdin/stdout pipes via procfs. By supplying a path containing directory traversal sequences that match the allowed mount prefix, the attacker can force the host-side root process to resolve the traversal and open files outside the designated mount boundary. This allows a guest-side user to read arbitrary files on the host filesystem, resulting in a virtual machine escape. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-42564 8.2 high 1.0% no CPE yet jotty·page is a self-hosted app for your checklists and notes. Prior to 1.22.0, an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in /api/app-icons/[filename]. The filename route parameter is joined into a filesystem path without traversal/boundary validation, allowing file reads outside data/uploads/app-icons/. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.22.0. CVE-2026-23456 8.2 high 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: fix OOB read in decode_int() CONS case In decode_int(), the CONS case calls get_bits(bs, 2) to read a length value, then calls get_uint(bs, len) without checking that len bytes remain in the buffer. The existing boundary check only validates the 2 bits for get_bits(), not the subsequent 1-4 bytes that get_uint() reads. This allows a malformed H.323/RAS packet to cause a 1-4 byte slab-out-of-bounds read. Add a boundary check for len bytes after get_bits() and before get_uint(). 19 Oct
CVE-2026-58013 8.2 high 1.0% gnome, redhat, glib, enterprise_linux A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in g_io_channel_read_line_backend() in the giochannel.c file when a custom line terminator with a length greater than one is set, causing memcmp to read past the GString buffer. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 7 bytes or a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-84782 8.2 high 1.0% openssl Issue summary: The DTLS retransmission logic does not correctly handle a handshake message write that is suspended part-way through. The retransmitted message can be read past the message buffer and the retransmission overwrites the internal state the suspended write needs to resume correctly. Impact summary: The retransmitted message can disclose a heap memory to the peer as plaintext handshake data or cause a crash and a Denial of Service when the read reaches an unmapped memory region. CWE: CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read Description: DTLS handshake messages can be written out in multiple fragments, and a write can suspend mid-message (returning WANT_WRITE) if the underlying transport temporarily cannot accept more data. While such a write is suspended, the DTLS retransmission timer may independently fire and ask the retransmission logic to resend an earlier, already-acknowledged-as-sent message from its retransmit queue. The retransmission logic reused the same internal buffer and position tracking as the message that was still being written, without resetting the position back to the start of the message being retransmitted. As a result the retransmission was read starting from wherever the suspended write had left off, producing a mislabelled message whose body was leftover bytes from the other, larger message still in flight - content that was never meant to be sent at that point, and which could run past the end of the allocated buffer. Separately, even when the retransmission is positioned correctly, allowing it to run to completion while another write is suspended overwrites the same shared bookkeeping that the suspended write depends on to resume. When the application later resumes the suspended write (via a subsequent SSL_read(), SSL_write(), SSL_accept(), or SSL_connect() call), it finds that bookkeeping in a state inconsistent with the message and aborts the process in a debugging build. The fix resets the retransmission's read position to the start of the message before resending, and skips retransmission entirely whenever a handshake write is still suspended, deferring to the next call that resumes it instead. FIPS impact: no The affected code is outside the FIPS module boundary. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-11816 8.1 high 1.0% keras Keras versions prior to 3.14.0 are vulnerable to a path traversal issue in the archive extraction utilities located in `keras/src/utils/file_utils.py`. The functions `filter_safe_tarinfos()` and `filter_safe_zipinfos()` validate archive member paths against the process current working directory (CWD) instead of the actual extraction destination. When the process runs with CWD set to `/`, which is common in Docker containers, CI/CD runners, and Jupyter environments, the validation boundary becomes the filesystem root, allowing traversal paths to bypass the security check. Additionally, the zip filter contains a bug that causes an `AttributeError` when a blocked entry is encountered, leading to incomplete extraction. Furthermore, Python 3.11 installations lack the `filter="data"` safety net, leaving them entirely reliant on the flawed CWD-based filter. Exploitation of this vulnerability can result in arbitrary file writes outside the intended extraction directory, enabling attackers to overwrite configuration files, inject malicious code, or corrupt machine learning datasets and pipelines.
