CVE-2025-34222 10.0 critical 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to version 22.0.1049 and Application prior to version 20.0.2786 (VA/SaaS deployments) expose four admin routes – /admin/hp/cert_upload, /admin/hp/cert_delete, /admin/certs/ca, and /admin/certs/serviceclients/{scid} – without any authentication check. The routes are defined in the /var/www/app/routes/web.php file inside the printercloud/pi Docker container and are handled by the HPCertificateController class, which performs no user validation. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore upload a new TLS/SSL certificate replacing the trusted root used by the appliance, delete an existing certificate causing immediate loss of trust for services that rely on it, or download any stored CA or client certificate via the service‑clients endpoint which also suffers an IDOR that allows enumeration of all client IDs. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2024-028 — Unauthenticated Admin APIs Used to Modify SSL Certificates. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-94603 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Podman is a tool for managing OCI containers and pods. From 4.4.0 until 5.8.8 and 6.1.3, podman run treats an image carrying the io.podman.annotations.checkpoint.runtime.name annotation as a checkpoint and silently ignores user-supplied container creation restrictions such as --cap-drop=ALL, allowing image-controlled checkpoint state to select weaker sandbox settings and capabilities. Rootless containers are not affected because checkpoint and restore are unavailable in that mode. This issue is fixed in versions 5.8.8 and 6.1.3. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-65162 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet NVIDIA AIStore for Linux contains a vulnerability in the legacy ETL Kubernetes PodSpec initialization API where a remote attacker may supply Kubernetes host-namespace and container-security settings. A successful exploit may lead to code execution, privilege escalation, information disclosure, data tampering, and denial of service. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-55454 9.9 critical 1.0% appsmith Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 2.1, the bundled Caddy reverse-proxy's admin API — which has no authentication by default — is bound on 0.0.0.0:2019 inside the container. While this listener is not directly published to the host by docker-compose.yml, it is reachable from the Appsmith server process itself or a SSRF vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user can therefore drive the SSRF to issue POST /load (or any other admin-API call) against http://0.0.0.0:2019/, fully replacing the live Caddy configuration and taking over the reverse proxy. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-66897 9.9 critical 1.0% canonical, lxd A path traversal vulnerability in LXD's instance template processing allows an attacker with container edit permissions, or any user launching a crafted image, to overwrite arbitrary files on the host system as root. When processing target template paths specified in metadata.yaml, LXD validates the path against a confined os.Root directory handle but subsequently opens and creates the file using os.Create with an unconfined string path. This discrepancy between path resolution checks and file creation allows an attacker to escape directory confinement, overwrite root-owned host files, and achieve host root code execution. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48749 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, a specially crafted image can be used to read or create/write arbitrary files on the host; possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 fixes the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48750 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, the `record-output` parameter of the `/instances/$name/exec` endpoint stores the output of the command in the `exec-output` directory of the instance. If `exec-output` is a symlink, file named `exec_UUID.stdout` and `exec_UUID.stderr` can be written to an arbitrary location where the `.stdout` file will contain arbitrary content. This behavior can be abused for arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 contains a patch. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48751 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, instance snapshots ignore the `restricted.containers.lowlevel=block` setting; allowing for arbitrary command execution on the Incus server by abusing lowlevel hooks such as `raw.lxc` and `raw.qemu`. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48752 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, a specially crafted image or instance backup can be used to read or create/write arbitrary files on the host; possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48753 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, the S3 protocol upload endpoint is vulnerable to path traversal and allows creation of arbitrary files on the host. This behavior could lead to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.1.0 fixes the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48755 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, improper validation of user-provided backup compression algorithm leads to argument injection in the constructed command line. This leads to an arbitrary file write on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.1.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48769 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, an arbitrary file write exists in the Incus client when a malicious image server returns a crafted `Incus-Image-Hash` header. This can lead to arbitrary command execution as root on the server. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-62867 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, improper validation of user-provided `block.create_options` in storage volume configuration leads to argument injection in the constructed filesystem creation command line. This allows a project-scoped user to inject arbitrary arguments into the binary executed as root. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-63125 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, an unprivileged, project-confined Incus user (a non-admin TLS/RBAC identity with `can_create_images` and `can_create_instances`) can execute arbitrary code as root on the host. A crafted image ships `backup.yaml` as a symlink to a host file. When the root daemon writes the instance's backup file, it follows the symlink. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-42010 9.8 critical 1.0% gnu, redhat, gnutls, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform A flaw was found in gnutls. Servers configured with RSA-PSK (Rivest–Shamir–Adleman – Pre-Shared Key) wrongfully matched usernames containing a NUL character with truncated usernames. A remote attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted username, leading to an authentication bypass. This vulnerability allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access by circumventing the authentication process. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44180 9.8 critical 1.0% jupyter, enterprise_gateway Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. Versions 2.0.0rc1 and above prior to 3.3.0 have a prohibited UID and GID feature that by default prevents launching kernels with UID or GID 0 (root), and this restriction can be bypassed using a specially crafted KERNEL_UID or KERNEL_GID value. This input validation vulnerability allows running Jupyter kernels as root, which can be dangerous as it allows more attack surface, and may lead to container escapes, compromising the worker node and all workloads running on it. Repeated exploitation can compromise all worker nodes, and thus the entire Kubernetes cluster. It is possible to specify volume mounts, so one vector for a container escape is to use a hostPath R/W volume mount, use this UID/GID bypass to run as root, and then gain code execution in the underlying worker node by creating a crontab entry in the mounted host file system. This issue has been fixed in version 3.0.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2023-34844 9.8 critical 1.0% play_with_docker_project, play_with_docker Play With Docker < 0.0.2 has an insecure CAP_SYS_ADMIN privileged mode causing the docker container to escape. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-72222 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: pin svc_xprt across the asynchronous TLS handshake callback svc_tcp_handshake() stores the raw svc_xprt pointer in tls_handshake_args.ta_data and submits the request through tls_server_hello_x509(). The handshake core takes only sock_hold(req->hr_sk); nothing references the embedding struct svc_sock that svc_tcp_handshake_done() reaches via container_of(). Two close races leave the in-flight callback writing through a freed svc_sock. svc_sock_free() calls tls_handshake_cancel() and discards its return value: a false return means handshake_complete() has already set HANDSHAKE_F_REQ_COMPLETED but hp_done() may not have finished, yet svc_sock_free() proceeds to kfree(svsk). The cancel-loser fall-through inside svc_tcp_handshake() itself produces the same window: when wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout() returns <= 0 (timeout or signal) and tls_handshake_cancel() returns false, the function does not drain, returns, and svc_handle_xprt() calls svc_xprt_received(), which clears XPT_BUSY and can drop the last reference. A concurrent close then runs svc_sock_free() while svc_tcp_handshake_done() is still updating xpt_flags and walking svsk->sk_handshake_done. The corruption surfaces as set_bit/clear_bit RMW into the freed xpt_flags slab slot and as complete_all() walking and writing the freed wait_queue_head_t list embedded in sk_handshake_done -- a slab-corruption primitive, not a benign read. The path is reachable on any TLS-enabled NFS server whenever a connection close overlaps the tlshd downcall delivery window; the interruptible wait means signal delivery suffices, not just SVC_HANDSHAKE_TO expiry. Take svc_xprt_get(xprt) immediately before tls_server_hello_x509() so the in-flight callback owns its own reference. Release it on the two edges where the callback is guaranteed not to fire -- submission failure from tls_server_hello_x509() and a successful tls_handshake_cancel() -- and at the tail of svc_tcp_handshake_done() after complete_all(). CVE-2026-78401 9.8 critical 1.0% ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system due to the deserialization of untrusted data. 10 Oct
CVE-2026-78406 9.8 critical 1.0% ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system due to the deserialization of untrusted data. 10 Oct
CVE-2026-32311 9.3 critical 1.0% flowsint Flowsint is an open-source OSINT graph exploration tool designed for cybersecurity investigation, transparency, and verification. Flowsint allows a user to create investigations, which are used to manage sketches and analyses. Sketches have controllable graphs, which are comprised of nodes and relationships. The sketches contain information on an OSINT target (usernames, websites, etc) within these nodes and relationships. The nodes can have automated processes execute on them called 'transformers'. A remote attacker can create a sketch, then trigger the 'org_to_asn' transform on an organization node to execute arbitrary OS commands as root on the host machine via shell metacharacters and a docker container escape. Commit b52cbbb904c8013b74308d58af88bc7dbb1b055c appears to remove the code that causes this issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-112346 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet OpenHands Software Agent SDK before 1.52.0 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability where the DockerWorkspace and Apptainer workspace launchers bind the sandbox agent server to all network interfaces (0.0.0.0) with an empty session_api_keys list, disabling authentication by default. Attackers who can reach the published container port can send unauthenticated HTTP and WebSocket requests to execute arbitrary shell commands as root in the sandbox, access the mounted workspace, and read plaintext secrets from the secrets store. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34977 9.3 critical 1.0% aperisolve Aperi'Solve is an open-source steganalysis web platform. In versions 3.1.3 through 3.2.0, when uploading a JPEG, a user can specify an optional password to accompany the JPEG. This password is then directly passed into an expect command, which is then subsequently passed into a bash -c command, without any form of sanitization or validation. An unauthenticated attacker can achieve root-level RCE inside the worker container with a single HTTP request, enabling full read/write access to all user-uploaded images, analysis results, and plaintext steganography passwords stored on disk. Because the container shares a Docker network with PostgreSQL and Redis (no authentication on either), the attacker can pivot to dump the entire database or manipulate the job queue to poison results for other users. If Docker socket mounting or host volume mounts are present, this could escalate to full host compromise. This would also include defacement of the website itself. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.1. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-77932 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet DB-GPT through 0.8.2 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability because the /api/v1/chat/react-agent endpoint relies on a mock get_user_from_headers function that grants every caller the admin role. Unauthenticated attackers can send prompts that make the ReAct agent's unsandboxed code_interpreter and shell_interpreter tools run arbitrary Python or bash as root in the webserver container, including reaching the bundled database with default credentials. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110631 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Komodo through 2.3.3 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Periphery agent that allows unauthenticated attackers to connect as a trusted Core because empty core_public_keys and passkeys lists fail open by default. Attackers reaching port 8120 can present any generated keypair to issue Periphery API requests, including terminal sessions and container operations, executing commands on managed hosts typically as root. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-34203 9.3 critical 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host versions prior to 22.0.1002 and Application versions prior to 20.0.2614 (VA and SaaS deployments) contain multiple Docker containers that include outdated, end-of-life, unsupported, or otherwise vulnerable third-party components (examples: Nginx 1.17.x, OpenSSL 1.1.1d, various EOL Alpine/Debian/Ubuntu base images, and EOL Laravel/PHP libraries). These components are present across many container images and increase the product's attack surface, enabling exploitation chains when leveraged by an attacker. Multiple distinct EOL versions and unpatched libraries across containers; Nginx binaries date from 2019 in several images and Laravel versions observed include EOL releases (for example Laravel 5.5.x, 5.7.x, 5.8.x). This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2024-014 — Outdated Dependencies. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-34206 9.3 critical 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application (VA and SaaS deployments) mount host configuration and secret material under /var/www/efs_storage into many Docker containers with overly-permissive filesystem permissions. Files such as secrets.env, GPG-encrypted blobs in .secrets, MySQL client keys, and application session files are accessible from multiple containers. An attacker who controls or reaches any container can read or modify these artifacts, leading to credential theft, RCE via Laravel APP_KEY, Portainer takeover, and full compromise. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-71336 9.3 critical 1.0% flowiseai, flowise Flowise before 3.0.6 (affected versions 2.2.7-patch.1 and earlier) contains an unsandboxed remote code execution vulnerability in the Custom MCP feature, which is designed to execute OS commands such as launching local MCP servers. Because Flowise's authentication and authorization model is minimal and lacks role-based access control, and the default installation runs without authentication unless FLOWISE_USERNAME and FLOWISE_PASSWORD are set, an attacker can send a crafted JSON payload with the header 'x-request-from: internal' to the /api/v1/node-load-method/customMCP endpoint to execute arbitrary OS commands, resulting in complete compromise of the platform container or server. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-13014 9.2 critical 1.0% no CPE yet A vulnerability in Thales CERT "Suspicious" application =< 1.3.4 allows a remote and unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code and arbitrarily overwrite writable application files—including Python modules, configuration files, cron inputs, and runtime artifacts—leading to a persistent denial of service, the potential compromise of application secrets or integrations, and root-level execution inside the Django application container. This vulnerability has been names "Matryoshka Mail". Thales PSIRT acknowledges and thanks Lucien Doustaly (aka wlayzz) for discovering and reporting this issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-69255 9.2 critical 1.0% flowiseai, flowise Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.3, the CSVAgent in packages/components/nodes/agents/CSVAgent/CSVAgent.ts extracted attacker-controlled CSV data with file.split(',').pop() and interpolated it directly into executable Python as base64_string = "${base64String}" before calling Pyodide. The validatePythonCodeForDataFrame() denylist only checked later LLM-generated code and did not validate this initial code block. An authenticated attacker could inject a closing quote followed by Python code, use Pyodide's js bridge to load Node.js child_process, and execute arbitrary operating system commands as root in the Flowise container. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-71470 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in the search-v2-operator. This vulnerability allows a privileged user, specifically a Custom Resource (CR) editor, to manipulate Search CR fields such as imageOverride, arguments, and environment variables without proper validation. By exploiting this, an attacker can mount arbitrary secrets into a search container's environment or replace the container image with an attacker-controlled one. This leads to privilege escalation and can result in a full cluster compromise due to the ServiceAccount's extensive impersonation permissions. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-71471 9.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in acm-search-v2-rhel9. An attacker with administrative privileges on the hub cluster, specifically with patch access to the Search Custom Resource (CR), could exploit a vulnerability in the `Collector.ImageOverride` field. This allows the attacker to deploy an arbitrary container image across all managed clusters. The consequence is remote code execution (RCE), enabling the attacker to execute commands and potentially access sensitive information across the entire fleet of managed clusters. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-54526 8.9 high 1.0% argoproj, argo_workflows Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Prior to 3.7.15 and 4.0.6, the allow-list fix for CVE-2026-31892 is incomplete because workflow/util/merge.go ValidateUserOverrides and SanitizeUserWorkflowSpec walk only the top-level fields of WorkflowSpec via reflection, and WorkflowSpec.ArtifactGC is allow-listed wholesale; the struct behind that field, WorkflowLevelArtifactGC, has a PodSpecPatch sub-field whose contents flow unmodified into util.ApplyPodSpecPatch on the artifact-GC pod, the same sink the original fix closed for WorkflowSpec.PodSpecPatch, so a user submitting a Workflow under templateReferencing: Strict or Secure (against a referenced WorkflowTemplate that declares an output artifact and setting spec.artifactGC.strategy: OnWorkflowCompletion) can still inject an arbitrary strategic merge patch into the artifact-GC pod, including hostPath volumes, privileged: true, arbitrary image and command, and hostNetwork: true, defeating the stated purpose of Strict/Secure reference mode. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.15 and 4.0.6. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-92574 8.8 high 1.0% red hat, confidential compute attestation, red hat enterprise linux 8, red hat enterprise linux 9 A vulnerability in CRI-O checkpoint restore allows a user who can create a pod from a malicious checkpointed container to bypass the destination Kubernetes security context. The restored process may retain credentials, Linux capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state from the checkpoint instead of enforcing the destination configuration. This can allow execution with elevated privileges across the container security boundary. Affected upstream supported versions are CRI-O 1.34 and later. Downstream Red Hat products are affected from OCP 4.17 onward. Fixes have been applied to supported branches but are not yet released. Exploitation requires permission to create a pod from a malicious checkpoint image and checkpoint restore functionality to be available. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-114142 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, toml.parse() can write attacker-controlled properties to Object.prototype because quoteDottedString() in lib/compiler.js produces the same bookkeeping string for distinct quoted key paths, allowing addTableArray() to clear another key's guard. The assign() path then descends through an unowned Date value without applying the owned-container check and can reach the prototype chain. Objects created elsewhere in the process can inherit the injected property. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-54232 8.8 high 1.0% vllm vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). Prior to 0.22.1, the vLLM Dockerfile is vulnerable to a dependency confusion attack through the flashinfer-jit-cache package. The package is installed from a custom index (flashinfer.ai/whl/) using --extra-index-url, but the package name was not registered on PyPI, and UV_INDEX_STRATEGY="unsafe-best-match" is set globally. An attacker who registers flashinfer-jit-cache on PyPI with version 0.6.11.post2 can execute arbitrary code as root during the Docker build and backdoor every resulting container image, enabling exfiltration of all user prompts, API credentials, and model data from production vLLM deployments This vulnerability is fixed in 0.22.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-12970 8.8 high 1.0% treasuredata, fluent_bit The extract_name function in Fluent Bit in_docker input plugin copies container names into a fixed size stack buffer without validating length. An attacker who can create containers or control container names, can supply a long name that overflows the buffer, leading to process crash or arbitrary code execution. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-73802 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Gitea Runner passes workflow-controlled container options into Docker job container configuration while privileged mode is disabled. Host namespace settings, expanded capabilities, and security profile overrides can remain effective despite Privileged being forced false. A workflow author able to run jobs on an affected Docker-backed runner can use these options to access host namespaces and execute commands as root on the runner host, bypassing the intended container isolation. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-103412 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Karavan. A project file name supplied through the project file API was used verbatim as a path segment when the project was written to the working copy for a Git commit, so a name containing `../` sequences caused the file content to be written outside the project directory, to any location writable by the Karavan process. An authenticated user of any role could use this to overwrite application configuration or files on the application classpath and so execute code in the Karavan container. This issue affects Apache Camel Karavan: from 3.18.0 before 4.22.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.22.1, which fixes the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-88064 8.8 high 1.0% linuxfoundation, backstage_plugin-techdocs-node, backstage Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and from 1.15.0 until 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package insufficiently validates mkdocs.yml supplied by an authenticated user who can register or modify a TechDocs source. Unsafe Python YAML tags, markdown_extensions names and configuration, theme options, and extra_templates values can reach the documentation generator and cause unintended code execution. The resulting impact is limited to the files, credentials, network access, and other resources available to the TechDocs backend or build container. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-16916 8.8 high 1.0% ibm, security_verify_access, security_verify_access_container, verify_identity_access IBM Security Verify Access 10.0 through 10.0.9.2 and IBM Verify Identity Access 11.0 through 11.0.3 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a protection mechanism failure. 10 Oct
CVE-2026-106509 8.8 high 1.0% linuxfoundation, backstage_plugin-techdocs-node, backstage Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by improper validation of mkdocs theme configuration in techdocs. When TechDocs is configured to build documentation locally or in a container, a user with write access to a registered repository can include configuration values in mkdocs.yml that cause arbitrary code execution during the documentation build process. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. 9 Oct
CVE-2025-62156 8.8 high 1.0% argoproj, argo_workflows Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Versions prior to 3.6.12 and versions 3.7.0 through 3.7.2 contain a Zip Slip path traversal vulnerability in artifact extraction. During artifact extraction the unpack/untar logic (workflow/executor/executor.go) uses filepath.Join(dest, filepath.Clean(header.Name)) without validating that header.Name stays within the intended extraction directory. A malicious archive entry can supply a traversal or absolute path that, after cleaning, overrides the destination directory and causes files to be written outside the /work/tmp extraction path and into system directories such as /etc inside the container. The vulnerability enables arbitrary file creation or overwrite in system configuration locations (for example /etc/passwd, /etc/hosts, /etc/crontab), which can lead to privilege escalation or persistence within the affected container. Update to 3.6.12 or 3.7.3 to remediate the issue. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-39911 8.7 high 1.0% hedera, guardian Hashgraph Guardian through version 3.5.1, fixed in commit 45fbe2f, contains an unsandboxed JavaScript execution vulnerability in the Custom Logic policy block worker that allows authenticated Standard Registry users to execute arbitrary code by passing user-supplied JavaScript expressions directly to the Node.js Function() constructor without isolation. Attackers can import native Node.js modules to read arbitrary files from the container filesystem, access process environment variables containing sensitive credentials such as RSA private keys, JWT signing keys, and API tokens, and forge valid authentication tokens for any user including administrators. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41957 8.7 high 1.0% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall An authenticated remote code execution vulnerability through undisclosed vectors exists in the BIG-IP and BIG-IQ Configuration utility. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-55676 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Malcolm is a network traffic analysis tool suite. The file-upload component (FilePond PHP backend) accepts uploads at `POST /server/php/submit.php` and stores them in a directory served by the same nginx and php-fpm instance. The allow-list that should restrict accepted file types is an empty array by default (`file-upload/php/config.php:16`), so the type check is a no-op and every extension is accepted. The filename sanitizer keeps the `.php` extension intact. Committed files land in `/var/www/upload/server/php/files` (`file-upload/php/config.php:7`), and the component's nginx routes any URL ending in `.php` to php-fpm. An authenticated `GET /server/php/files/<name>.php` then executes the uploaded code as `www-data`. Prior to version 26.06.1, in RBAC mode, the upload endpoint is reachable by the granular `ROLE_UPLOAD` role (`nginx/lua/nginx_auth_helpers.lua:71`), a role intended only for submitting capture files. As a result, a user holding the upload-only role runs arbitrary PHP as `www-data` inside the file-upload container. Version 26.06.1 fixes the issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-73298 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The Microsoft Container Migration Solution Accelerator is a multi-service application that provides a multi-agent, AI-driven migration solution for moving container service configurations to Azure Kubernetes Service. In version 2.1.2 and earlier, a security vulnerability was identified in the Container Migration Solution Accelerator, specifically an authenticated IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) that allows users to read, write, and delete processes belonging to other authenticated users. The issue affects multiple API endpoints, where ownership checks are missing, enabling unauthorized access and modification of migration data across users within the same organization. The vulnerability is present in both process and file management APIs, and the application relies on Entra ID authentication but lacks proper authorization controls between users. Authenticated users are able to access, modify, and delete processes and files belonging to other users without proper authorization checks. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64831 8.7 high 1.0% ffmpeg FFmpeg versions 8.0 through 8.1.2 contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the Vulkan HEVC hardware decoder that allows remote attackers to overwrite return addresses and adjacent stack frames by supplying a crafted HEVC/H.265 bitstream. Attackers can embed a malicious vps_num_hrd_parameters value exceeding HEVC_MAX_SUB_LAYERS in any supported container format to overflow stack-allocated arrays in the vk_hevc_end_frame function, potentially achieving arbitrary code execution. CVE-2025-34202 8.7 high 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to 25.2.169 and Application prior to 25.2.1518 (VA and SaaS deployments) expose Docker internal networks in a way that allows an attacker on the same external L2 segment — or an attacker able to add routes using the appliance as a gateway — to reach container IPs directly. This grants access to internal services (HTTP APIs, Redis, MySQL, etc.) that are intended to be isolated inside the container network. Many of those services are accessible without authentication or are vulnerable to known exploitation chains. As a result, compromise of a single reachable endpoint or basic network access can enable lateral movement, remote code execution, data exfiltration, and full system compromise. This vulnerability has been identified by the vendor as: V-2025-003 — Insecure Access to Docker Instance from WAN. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-34204 8.7 high 1.0% vasion, virtual_appliance_application, virtual_appliance_host Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application (VA and SaaS deployments) contains multiple Docker containers that run primary application processes (for example PHP workers, Node.js servers and custom binaries) as the root user. This increases the blast radius of a container compromise and enables lateral movement and host compromise when a container is breached. 18 Oct
