CVE-2026-114044 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP before 3.32.1 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Android client that allows malicious RDP servers to read beyond surface buffers by supplying unvalidated mappedWidth and mappedHeight values. Attackers can send a crafted RDPGFX_MAP_SURFACE_TO_WINDOW_PDU with oversized dimensions, causing android_UpdateWindowFromSurface to copy heap memory beyond the allocation, leading to crashes or memory disclosure. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109951 6.9 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.17.1 before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer over-read vulnerability in DynvcTrackerHandleCreateBack of the freerdp-proxy DRDYNVC channel handler that allows malicious backend RDP servers to read heap memory out of bounds. Attackers can send a CREATE_REQUEST_PDU whose channel name lacks a NUL byte, causing an unbounded snprintf read that leaks memory into proxy logs or crashes the process. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-111373 6.9 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the websocket transport that allows a malicious gateway to crash clients by sending zero-length pings. When the payload length is zero, websocket_reply_pong passes a nullptr stream to websocket_reply_close, triggering an assertion failure that terminates the client process and causes denial of service. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-109248 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in the WinPR clipboard function convert_filedescriptors_to_file_list(), which scans a server-controlled FILEDESCRIPTORW cFileName with unbounded _wcschr() and count_special_chars() calls without a NUL-termination guarantee. A malicious RDP server can send an odd-length FILEDESCRIPTORW blob in a CB_FORMAT_DATA_RESPONSE, crashing X11, Wayland, and SDL clients when the user pastes server-copied files. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109244 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an insecure permission vulnerability in winpr-makecert that creates unencrypted private keys without owner-only file modes. Local users on multi-user Unix hosts can read world-readable key files or open PFX files protected by the hard-coded default password to steal private keys. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109249 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in freerdp_assistance_parse_all_elements_of() because it advances its parsing cursor without reducing the remaining length, letting the scan window exceed the decrypted ConnectionString2 buffer. Attackers can supply a crafted .msrcIncident invitation file and password that crash xfreerdp when opened, before any RDP connection. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-68118 6.6 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.20.0, a vulnerability exists in FreeRDP’s certificate handling code on Windows platforms. The function `freerdp_certificate_data_hash_ uses` the Microsoft-specific `_snprintf` function to format certificate cache filenames without guaranteeing NUL termination when truncation occurs. According to Microsoft documentation, `_snprintf` does not append a terminating NUL byte if the formatted output exceeds the destination buffer size. If an attacker controls the hostname value (for example via server redirection or a crafted .rdp file), the resulting filename buffer may not be NUL-terminated. Subsequent string operations performed on this buffer may read beyond the allocated memory region, resulting in a heap-based out-of-bounds read. In default configurations, the connection is typically terminated before sensitive data can be meaningfully exposed, but unintended memory read or a client crash may still occur under certain conditions. Version 3.20.0 has a patch for the issue. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-110835 6.3 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 allows HTTP header injection in its proxy because a lone LF in the target portion of a routing token (Cookie: msts=) is not rejected and is written by http_proxy_connect into the CONNECT request line and Host header. A remote unauthenticated RDP client connecting to a proxy using FixedTarget=false and an upstream HTTP proxy can alter HTTP request/header framing at that upstream proxy. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111375 6.3 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Windows RAIL client that allows malicious RDP servers to trigger heap over-reads by sending non-NUL-terminated window titles. Attackers can send a full-length WINDOW_ORDER_FIELD_TITLE update that wf_rail_window_common passes to SetWindowTextW, corrupting titles or crashing the client. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-55648 6.1 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, freerdp_image_copy_from_icon_data in libfreerdp/codec/color.c calculates nWidth multiplied by nHeight multiplied by FreeRDPGetBytesPerPixel(format) in 32-bit arithmetic. A malicious RDP server can send a RAIL TS_ICON_INFO update with dimensions such as 32768 by 32768 and 32 bits per pixel so the required-size calculation wraps, bypassing the cbBitsColor source bounds check before freerdp_image_copy_no_overlap reads attacker-controlled icon data. This affects RemoteApp clients using the vulnerable library path, while xfreerdp has a caller-side mitigation. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-110837 6.1 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 2.0.0 before 3.32.0, when built with WITH_LAME=ON and WITH_DSP_FFMPEG=OFF, has a heap-based buffer overflow in freerdp_dsp_decode_mp3 because the right-channel PCM pointer is offset by a byte count treated as short elements. A malicious RDP server can send MP3 audio over rdpsnd so decoded samples cross the heap allocation, crashing the client. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-109256 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.10.0 through 3.32.2 contains a heap buffer overflow in the WinPR png_write_data callback that writes past the buffer after a realloc failure. A malicious RDP clipboard peer can supply a large CF_DIB image that triggers out-of-bounds memcpy during PNG conversion, causing a client crash. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-109945 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in smartcard emulation when SCARD_IOCTL_DISCONNECT and SCARD_IOCTL_TRANSMIT operate concurrently on one card handle. A malicious RDP server can overlap these IRPs through separate context workers to free and reuse the SCardHandle, causing client-process heap corruption and termination. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-109952 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp The FreeRDP client 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 does not check a server-selected PROTOCOL_RDSTLS or PROTOCOL_HYBRID_EX against its enabled protocol set in nego_process_negotiation_response(), allowing a security protocol downgrade. A malicious server or man-in-the-middle can select RDSTLS to override /sec:nla pinning, complete authentication with an all-zero cookie, and receive the user's cleartext password in the Client Info PDU. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-109953 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability where the /restricted-admin option fails to suppress CredSSP credential delegation, sending the cleartext password to the RDP server. A compromised or man-in-the-middle destination host can decode TSPasswordCreds and the Client Info PDU to obtain reusable administrative domain, username, and password values. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-109679 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.0.0-beta4 before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference in arm_handle_request_ok when an ARM endpoint returns an empty HTTP 200 body. Attackers controlling the configured ARM gateway can return a zero-length body to pass NULL to strnlen and crash the connecting client. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-109680 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.18.0 before 3.32.0 has a heap-based out-of-bounds write in freerdp_interruptible_get_line, which shrinks the buffer to 32 bytes while keeping a pre-filled suggested username's length as its write offset. A malicious or compromised ARM routing service can return a long redirectedUsername that reaches the CLI credential prompt, crashing the client when the user types input. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-111374 6.0 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP from 3.30.0 before 3.32.0 contains a resource exhaustion vulnerability in the rdpecam client that lets malicious RDP servers request unadvertised camera media types. Attackers can send a StartStreamsRequest with oversized dimensions to force large pending-sample allocations and reconfigure the local camera through the HAL. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-109251 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP before 3.32.0 stores the server-supplied signed MS-RDPEGT geometry origin unchecked in an unsigned video surface coordinate, so the blit clamp in gdiVideoShowSurface() wraps in 32-bit arithmetic and is skipped. A malicious RDP server can send a negative topLevelLeft to clients connecting with /video, causing an out-of-bounds write of decoded H.264 picture data or a client abort. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-109252 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP from 3.9.0 before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the RDPEAR NDR reader that allows malicious servers to crash clients via truncated KERB_RPC_INTERNAL_NAME data. Attackers can send a CreateApReqAuthenticatorReq with NameCount of two or more ending before the Names pointer, causing cleanup to dereference a null base and terminate the client. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109253 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP from 3.9.0 before 3.32.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the RDPEAR NDR scalar readers, which check value length before consuming alignment padding. Malicious or compromised RDP servers can send crafted unaligned RDPEAR payloads, such as CreateApReqAuthenticatorReq messages, to clients using Remote Credential Guard, causing over-reads and potentially crashing the client process. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109254 6.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP 2.1.0 before 3.32.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the static rdpsnd channel disconnect path, which frees audio formats and device without joining play_thread. A malicious RDP server can disconnect while asynchronous Wave2 playback processes queued PDUs, causing the client to read freed heap memory and crash. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-110831 5.3 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP versions 3.13.0 before 3.32.0 contain a resource retention flaw in drive_process_irp_create, which registers an opened local file in the drive dictionary before applying the allocation size and does not remove it when that operation fails. A malicious RDP server connected to a client with drive redirection enabled can send IRP_MJ_CREATE with AllocationSize set to UINT64_MAX, forcing the seek to fail and leaking the file object and operating-system handle until drive teardown. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-109948 5.3 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an uninitialized memory disclosure vulnerability in smartcard_Transmit_Call that allows malicious RDP servers to read client memory. Servers can send SCardTransmit requests with an invalid card handle and nonzero receive length, causing smartcard_pack_transmit_return to serialize up to 66,560 uninitialized heap bytes. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-109950 5.3 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows a malicious RD Gateway to crash clients by sending mismatched message lengths. Attackers controlling the gateway can set MsgBytes far larger than the NDR string ActualCount in consent or service messages, causing UTF-8 conversion to read past the stream allocation and disrupt client availability. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-109940 5.1 medium 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP 3.0.0-beta1 before 3.32.0 on Unix builds with PKCS#11 support has a stack-based buffer overflow in wprintKeyName() in WinPR's NCrypt PKCS#11 provider. It hex-encodes a key's CKA_ID, which can be up to 64 bytes, into a fixed 128-byte stack buffer. An attacker supplying a malicious PKCS#11 token or module whose key and matching certificate use a 55- to 64-byte CKA_ID can overflow the client's stack during key enumeration, causing a crash. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-109243 4.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an incorrect permission assignment vulnerability that allows local users to read private keys written by crypto_write_pem without owner-only permissions. Attackers on multi-user Unix hosts can enumerate the shared temporary directory during soft-smartcard logon to read the world-readable PKINIT private-key copy. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-111376 2.3 low 0.00% freerdp FreeRDP from 3.30.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Windows client's CliprdrStream_New that allows malicious RDP servers to trigger invalid memory reads via short clipboard responses. Attackers can answer a FILECONTENTS_SIZE request with a cbRequested of fewer than eight bytes when a user pastes a remote file, crashing the client or corrupting the stream size. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-109241 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the client video redirection channel that allows malicious servers to crash clients by sending out-of-order messages. Attackers can send a Geometry CLEAR message that nulls presentation->geometry, then send VideoData that dereferences it, causing client denial of service. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-109240 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP 3.11.0 before 3.32.1 contains a reachable assertion vulnerability in urb_isoch_transfer that allows malicious RDP servers to crash clients by sending unvalidated OutputBufferSize values. Attackers can send a TS_URB_ISOCH_TRANSFER IN-direction request with OutputBufferSize above INT32_MAX over URBDRC, triggering an assertion in libusb_udev_isoch_transfer that terminates the client. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-109247 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in convert_filedescriptors_to_file_list() in winpr/libwinpr/clipboard/synthetic_file.c, which concatenates server-supplied cFileName values from FileGroupDescriptorW clipboard data into the published local file:// URI without rejecting '/' or '..' sequences. A malicious RDP server can supply '../' sequences so the user's next clipboard paste copies an arbitrary local file readable by the client user instead of the expected remote file. 15 Oct
