| CVE-2026-109255exploit | 6.1 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an integer truncation vulnerability in license_check_stream_length that allows a malicious RDP server to trigger a heap buffer overflow on 32-bit clients. Attackers can send a crafted SERVER_LICENSE_REQUEST with a large scopeCount that bypasses length checks, causing out-of-bounds writes leading to denial of service or remote code execution. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55191 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP clients that negotiate RDPGFX AVC444 with an H.264 decoder backend calculate the intermediate YUV444 allocation size in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c with 32-bit multiplication in avc444_ensure_buffer. A malicious RDP server can supply surface dimensions for which piDstStride multiplied by padDstHeight wraps to a small nonzero value, causing winpr_aligned_recalloc to allocate an undersized buffer before YUV420CombineToYUV444 writes using the actual stride and rectangle dimensions. This can cause a client crash and may permit code execution through attacker-influenced heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55194 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, rpc_client_recv_fragment in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rpc_client.c ensures the response reassembly stream capacity using only the server-declared alloc_hint rather than the actual StubLength about to be written. A malicious TS Gateway can send a PTYPE_RESPONSE with a small alloc_hint and a much larger frag_length, causing Stream_Write to copy attacker-controlled stub data beyond the 4096-byte pdu->s buffer. This can crash the client and may permit code execution through heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114045 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP before 3.32.1 contains a heap-based buffer overflow in the server-side rdpsnd channel because an integer wraparound in rdpsnd_server_select_format() DVI_ADPCM block-alignment arithmetic bypasses validation. A malicious RDP client can send two SNDC_FORMATS PDUs with an nBlockAlign too small for nChannels, causing an unbounded heap write during server audio playback, potentially enabling code execution. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111378 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in parse_nla_mode_pdu that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server memory. Attackers can complete TLS and stream bytes not beginning with the DER SEQUENCE tag 0x30, causing unbounded receive buffer growth before NLA authentication. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63633 | 7.7 high | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.28.0, freerdp_dsp_decode_opus in libfreerdp/codec/dsp.c calls Stream_EnsureRemainingCapacity on context->common.buffer even though opus_decode writes decoded PCM into the caller-supplied out stream. A malicious RDP server that negotiates WAVE_FORMAT_OPUS with a client built with WITH_OPUS enabled and WITH_DSP_FFMPEG disabled can make libopus write a large decoded frame beyond the 4096-byte StreamPool_Take destination used by channels/rdpsnd/client/rdpsnd_main.c. This can corrupt the client heap, crash the client, and may permit code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.28.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63652 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.28.0, rdpsnd_server_recv_formats in channels/rdpsnd/server/rdpsnd_main.c frees context->client_formats on a malformed Client Audio Formats PDU without clearing the owning pointer or num_client_formats. An authenticated RDP client can trigger an error such as a cbSize larger than the remaining record, leave the dangling pointer in the server context, and cause rdpsnd_server_context_free to free the same allocation again at session teardown. This reliably terminates the server and can create allocator-dependent heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.28.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63117 | 6.5 medium | 1.0% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.28.0, an authenticated RDP client can advertise DVI ADPCM with nBlockAlign equal to 8 and nChannels equal to 2 to make the `bs` calculation in rdpsnd_server_select_format in channels/rdpsnd/server/rdpsnd_main.c equal zero. The subsequent out_frames modulo `bs` operation raises SIGFPE and terminates the server-side rdpsnd channel process. This vulnerability fixed in 3.28.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55193 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP clients using TS Gateway accept a server-controlled max_xmit_frag value in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rpc_bind.c without bounding it to the 4088-byte ReceiveFragment allocation. A malicious gateway can advertise 65535 and then send a response fragment of the same length, causing rpc_channel_read in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rpc.c to write up to 65535 bytes into the smaller ReceiveFragment buffer. This can crash the client and may permit code execution through attacker-controlled heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110838 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP shadow server from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 dispatches input PDUs during the Confirm Active state before authentication, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject keyboard input. Attackers can negotiate TLS-only RDP and send an input PDU without Confirm Active to inject synthetic keystrokes into the host user's X11 session via XTEST. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111380 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 3.29.0 before 3.32.0 contains an integer overflow in the Apple audin backends (audin_mac.m, audin_ios.m), which compute the audio queue buffer size as FramesPerPacket * 2 * nChannels in UINT32 arithmetic, bypassing the CVE-2026-91962 fix. A malicious RDP server can send FramesPerPacket of 2^30 in the audin Open PDU to wrap the multiplication, causing undersized AudioQueueAllocateBuffer allocations and a heap out-of-bounds write in macOS and iOS clients. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111382 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a client-side heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in general_LumaToYUV444 and general_ChromaV2ToYUV444 that allows malicious RDP servers to corrupt client memory. Attackers can send RDPGFX AVC444 or AVC444v2 frames with odd-height region rects ending at surface height to write past U/V planes, enabling heap corruption and potential code execution. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109676 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP from 3.0.0-beta1 before 3.32.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in smartcard handling that allows attackers to access a freed smartcard handle object after an invalid connect operation. Attackers can trigger an invalid smartcard connect operation to cause reuse of the freed handle, leading to memory corruption or crashes. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-76840 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56297 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.22.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in dvcman_channel_close and dvcman_call_on_receive due to improper synchronization of channel_callback access. A malicious RDP server can trigger a race condition by sending DYNVC_DATA and DYNVC_CLOSE messages concurrently, causing heap-use-after-free in the drdynvc client thread and potentially enabling remote code execution or denial of service. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111880 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP versions from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contain a heap out-of-bounds write in the server hash-callback NTLM path that fails to validate the MIC offset. Unauthenticated attackers can send a crafted AUTHENTICATE_MESSAGE with a backward session-key offset and MIC offset to write 16 zero bytes beyond the allocation. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109257 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a double-free vulnerability in nsc_context_initialize_encode() that leaves dangling plane pointers after a partial buffer growth failure. Attackers using a crafted RDP client can negotiate NSCodec with a large desktop geometry to trigger allocation failure, crashing the server during context teardown. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110833 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 3.0.0-beta1 before 3.32.0 fails to enforce cumulative or absolute size limits when reassembling RDPDR channel fragments in the proxy. Attackers can send a FIRST fragment followed by continuation fragments without LAST, growing per-session heap streams proportional to traffic and exhausting proxy memory. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110830 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 fails to close prior serial handles in serial_process_irp_create, allowing a malicious RDP server to exhaust file descriptors. Attackers can send repeated serial IRP_MJ_CREATE requests to accumulate descriptors and terminate the client at the CommReadFile FD_SETSIZE assertion. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114047 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an improper certificate validation vulnerability in its proxy that accepts untrusted target TLS certificates when no verification module is configured. Network-positioned attackers can intercept the proxy's outbound connection and present a self-signed, wrong-hostname certificate to impersonate the RDP target and receive proxied session data. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109245 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an improper certificate validation vulnerability in freerdp_http_request() in libfreerdp/utils/http.c that completes TLS handshakes without verifying the server certificate chain. On-path attackers can impersonate login.microsoftonline.com in the Azure AD authentication flow to capture OAuth authorization codes and substitute the OpenID discovery document. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55192 | 7.2 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP H.264 decoder backends can return YUV planes sized from the bitstream without comparing the decoded width and height to the RDPGFX surface dimensions used to validate region rectangles. A malicious RDP server can provide an AVC420 or AVC444 bitstream whose decoded frame is smaller than the negotiated surface, causing yuv420_context_decode and the YUV-to-RGB conversion paths to read beyond the decoder-owned planes in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c and the selected H.264 backend. This can disclose client memory or crash the client. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111881 | 7.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP from 3.14.1 before 3.32.0 contains an integer underflow in the WinPR BMP writer, where a mismatched stride calculation passes SIZE_MAX - 3 to Stream_Zero for sub-byte images. A malicious RDP clipboard peer can return a crafted 1-bpp BMP processed by clipboard_synthesize_image_format_to_bmp for CF_DIB/CF_DIBV5, crashing the client or causing an out-of-bounds write. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114046 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a null-pointer dereference in the smartcard emulation backend that accepts a null per-reader name in SCardGetStatusChange requests. A malicious RDP server can send a crafted reader-state entry with a null szReader, causing strcmp or _wcscmp to crash the client process. | 12 h ago |
| CVE-2026-114043 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP before 3.32.1 contains a heap-based out-of-bounds read in WinPR's clipboard PNG-to-CF_DIB synthesis because winpr_read_png_from_buffer() allocates a bit-packed buffer for PNGs with bit depth below 8, while winpr_bitmap_write_buffer() copies rows assuming one byte per pixel. A malicious RDP server can send a crafted low-bit-depth PNG clipboard payload that, when pasted by the victim, discloses megabytes of heap memory. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109939 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.27.1 before 3.32.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference in update_read_cache_bitmap_v3_order() in libfreerdp/core/orders.c, which accesses the client bitmap cache when the CBR3_DO_NOT_CACHE flag is set, even though the cache is not yet initialized before Demand Active. A malicious or compromised RDP server can send a Cache Bitmap V3 order during connection setup to crash a connecting client that has enabled the non-default Bitmap Cache V3 feature (/cache:codec:<rfx|nsc|jpeg>). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109938 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | Positive mapped-video coordinates overflow and abort FreeRDP clients A malicious or compromised RDP server can terminate a FreeRDP client after the user connects with video redirection enabled. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109941 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 2.3.0 before 3.32.0 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in http_chuncked_read that allows malicious RD Gateways to hang clients by sending incomplete chunked responses. Attackers can send a partial chunk-size line or footer followed by a clean TLS shutdown, causing zero-byte reads to loop forever and freeze the client decoder thread. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109942 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 2.3.0 before 3.32.0 dereferences a NULL stream in rdg_process_close_packet in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rdg.c because rdg_process_control_packet accepts a header-only PKT_TYPE_CLOSE_CHANNEL packet and passes the null payload without a check. A malicious or compromised RD Gateway can send an eight-byte CLOSE_CHANNEL header to crash a connecting FreeRDP client. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109943 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.29.0 before 3.32.0 contains a double free in the client's async-update message proxy, which shallow-copies the parser-owned PolygonSC or PolygonCB points array when numPoints is zero, so both the queue consumer and parser cleanup free it. A malicious RDP server can send a point-bearing polygon order followed by a zero-point order to crash a client with +async-update enabled. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109944 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 does not remove card handles when Emulate_SCardReleaseContext releases a smartcard-emulation context, so Emulate_SCardTransmit later looks up the deleted parent context and reaches a terminating WINPR_ASSERT. A malicious RDP server can crash a connecting client with smartcard emulation and redirection enabled by releasing a context, establishing another, and issuing SCardTransmit with the stale card handle. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55564 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, the glyph_cache_get function in libfreerdp/cache/glyph.c checks whether index is greater than cache->number instead of greater than or equal to it. A malicious RDP server can use GLYPH_FRAGMENT_USE replay in update_process_glyph_fragments to make the default cache receive index 254 when cache->number is 254, reading one pointer beyond the entries array and dereferencing it as a glyph. This can crash the client and may disclose adjacent heap data. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110839 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.3.0 before 3.32.0, when built with WINPR_UTILS_IMAGE_JPEG=ON, has a heap-based out-of-bounds write in winpr_convert_from_jpeg because grayscale JPEG buffers are sized from one input component rather than three BGR output components. A malicious RDP server can offer a grayscale JPEG via clipboard redirection, corrupting client memory and crashing it when the item is pasted as CF_DIB bitmap data. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110834 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability that allows malicious RDP servers to crash clients by sending out-of-lifecycle serial IRPs. Attackers can send IRP_MJ_READ or IRP_MJ_WRITE before create or after close, causing CommReadFile or CommWriteFile to dereference a null handle and terminate clients using Linux serial redirection. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110836 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in http_response_recv() that allows malicious gateways to exhaust client CPU via crafted Content-Type headers. Attackers controlling a gateway can return a nonzero Content-Length with a semicolon-containing unrecognized Content-Type, pinning a client thread at full CPU indefinitely. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110832 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a memory exhaustion vulnerability in wts_read_drdynvc_data_first that allows authenticated clients to force servers to commit large memory allocations. Attackers can send a seven-byte DATA_FIRST message on an opened DVC declaring a large 32-bit length, causing zeroed resident memory growth and server resource exhaustion. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110829 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP versions from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contain a null pointer dereference in the rdpsnd channel when a fragment sets CHANNEL_FLAG_LAST without CHANNEL_FLAG_FIRST. A malicious RDP server can send a malformed rdpsnd PDU on a fresh channel to crash the client and cause denial of service. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114042 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP 3.32.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the drdynvc channel that frees a pool-owned stream with the owned-stream deallocator when totalLength is smaller than the chunk size. A malicious RDP server can send a single well-formed Virtual Channel PDU to trigger the free and crash the client during teardown. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109946 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.11.0 before 3.32.0 does not validate that AVC444 and AVC444v2 region widths are even before YUV444 conversion, so an odd width reaches an assertion and aborts the client. A malicious or compromised RDP server can terminate a connected FreeRDP client after RDPGFX AVC444 negotiation by sending an in-bounds region rectangle with an odd width. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109947 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 3.20.1 before 3.32.0 contains an uncontrolled resource allocation vulnerability that allows malicious RDP servers to exhaust client memory via oversized drive redirection read requests. Attackers can send IRP_MJ_READ with Length 0xffffffff, causing roughly 4 GiB of zeroed allocation on 64-bit builds or an under-reserved buffer on 32-bit builds. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109949 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts in its virtual smartcard GIDS implementation, which stores the PIN retry counter per-handle. A malicious RDP server can exhaust the counter with VERIFY APDUs, then request a new SCardConnect to reset attempts, enabling unbounded online brute-forcing of the configured smartcard PIN. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109678 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP 3.0.0-beta1 before 3.32.0, when built with verbose WinPR assertions and using smartcard emulation, has a reachable assertion: the emulated SCardStatusA passes a NULL reader-name destination to scard_copy_strings. A malicious RDP server can send an SCardStatusA request with fmszReaderNamesIsNULL=1 to abort a connecting client. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111377 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an unbounded reassembly vulnerability in WTSProcessChannelData that fails to enforce cumulative fragment limits. Authenticated clients can start a static virtual channel message, withhold the LAST flag, and send endless fragments to exhaust server memory. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109246 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a divide-by-zero vulnerability in the freerdp-shadow-cli shadow server: the frame id in a client's Frame Acknowledge PDU is stored without a range check, so the in-flight frame count in shadow_encoder_inflight_frames() can underflow. An authenticated client can acknowledge a frame id one greater than the last frame sent, causing shadow_encoder_create_frame_id() to divide by zero (SIGFPE) and terminate the process, disconnecting all viewers. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109242 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP before 3.0.0 and 3.6.0 before 3.32.0 renders uninitialized heap memory from un-decoded progressive tiles because the tile->current buffer is allocated without zeroing. A malicious RDP server can send a crafted WBT_TILE_FIRST then WBT_TILE_UPGRADE sequence to paint heap bytes onscreen or abort the client process. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109677 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP from 2.0.0-beta1 before 3.28.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in smartcard_LocateCardsByATRA_Call because the ATR pattern cbAtr byte count is not capped. Malicious RDP servers can send crafted ATR mask arrays to use query timing as an oracle, leaking heap memory bit-by-bit to defeat ASLR and aid RCE exploits. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111379 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in persistent_cache_read_entry_v3 that allows local attackers to corrupt memory by supplying a crafted v3 persistent cache file. Attackers can set large width and height values that wrap the size calculation in persist_cache_get_data, causing fread to overflow an undersized buffer and potentially execute code. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111381 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | freerdp | FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in persistent_cache_read_entry_v2 that allows local attackers to corrupt heap memory via integer wraparound in bitmap size calculation. Attackers can craft a persistent cache v2 file with oversized width and height values that causes mismatched entry size accounting and fixed 16 KiB reads, leading to crashes or code execution when loaded. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109250 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in collect_keys() that allows local attackers to write past the fixed 64-entry keys array during PKCS#11 key enumeration. Attackers controlling smartcard tokens can present more than 64 public key objects across multiple slots to corrupt heap memory with attacker-chosen CKA_ID and CKA_LABEL data during smartcard logon. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114041 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | FreeRDP before 3.32.1 on Windows contains a heap out-of-bounds read in client_cli_present_gateway_message that passes a byte count as wide-character printf precision. A malicious RD Gateway can send pre-authentication consent or service messages, causing the client to read twice the buffer size, leaking heap memory or crashing. | 12 h ago |
