| CVE-2024-41006 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netrom: Fix a memory leak in nr_heartbeat_expiry() syzbot reported a memory leak in nr_create() [0]. Commit 409db27e3a2e ("netrom: Fix use-after-free of a listening socket.") added sock_hold() to the nr_heartbeat_expiry() function, where a) a socket has a SOCK_DESTROY flag or b) a listening socket has a SOCK_DEAD flag. But in the case "a," when the SOCK_DESTROY flag is set, the file descriptor has already been closed and the nr_release() function has been called. So it makes no sense to hold the reference count because no one will call another nr_destroy_socket() and put it as in the case "b." nr_connect nr_establish_data_link nr_start_heartbeat nr_release switch (nr->state) case NR_STATE_3 nr->state = NR_STATE_2 sock_set_flag(sk, SOCK_DESTROY); nr_rx_frame nr_process_rx_frame switch (nr->state) case NR_STATE_2 nr_state2_machine() nr_disconnect() nr_sk(sk)->state = NR_STATE_0 sock_set_flag(sk, SOCK_DEAD) nr_heartbeat_expiry switch (nr->state) case NR_STATE_0 if (sock_flag(sk, SOCK_DESTROY) || (sk->sk_state == TCP_LISTEN && sock_flag(sk, SOCK_DEAD))) sock_hold() // ( !!! ) nr_destroy_socket() To fix the memory leak, let's call sock_hold() only for a listening socket. Found by InfoTeCS on behalf of Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller. [0]: https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?extid=d327a1f3b12e1e206c16 | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2024-36905 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: defer shutdown(SEND_SHUTDOWN) for TCP_SYN_RECV sockets TCP_SYN_RECV state is really special, it is only used by cross-syn connections, mostly used by fuzzers. In the following crash [1], syzbot managed to trigger a divide by zero in tcp_rcv_space_adjust() A socket makes the following state transitions, without ever calling tcp_init_transfer(), meaning tcp_init_buffer_space() is also not called. TCP_CLOSE connect() TCP_SYN_SENT TCP_SYN_RECV shutdown() -> tcp_shutdown(sk, SEND_SHUTDOWN) TCP_FIN_WAIT1 To fix this issue, change tcp_shutdown() to not perform a TCP_SYN_RECV -> TCP_FIN_WAIT1 transition, which makes no sense anyway. When tcp_rcv_state_process() later changes socket state from TCP_SYN_RECV to TCP_ESTABLISH, then look at sk->sk_shutdown to finally enter TCP_FIN_WAIT1 state, and send a FIN packet from a sane socket state. This means tcp_send_fin() can now be called from BH context, and must use GFP_ATOMIC allocations. | CVE-2026-5515 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | ibm, app_connect_enterprise | IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0.1.0 through 13.0.7.0 stores potentially sensitive information in log files that could be read by a local user. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-90995 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | fedoraproject, redhat, sssd, openshift_container_platform, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). A local attacker with privileges to connect to the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder socket can send a specially crafted protocol request. If the `pam_app_services` configuration is enabled and the service item is omitted from the request, a NULL pointer dereference can occur. This vulnerability leads to a denial of service, causing the PAM responder to crash and disrupt authentication services. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114620 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. Prior to 1.9.0, Authlib's RFC 9101 JWTAuthenticationRequest passes the unauthenticated, client-controlled request_uri parameter to the abstract get_request_object() hook before applying a destination or registration policy; the hook itself performs no network request, while the documentation demonstrates an unrestricted HTTP fetch. In deployments whose integrator implements that hook as an unrestricted outbound fetch, a remote attacker who knows a valid public client identifier can make the authorization server request internal, link-local, or otherwise unintended URLs and can distinguish fetch outcomes through different error responses and timing. Deployments whose custom hook already applies a secure allowlist, destination controls, and retrieval limits are not affected. The JWTAuthenticationRequest implementation in authlib/oauth2/rfc9101/authorization_server.py forwards request_uri to get_request_object() before an application-approved retrieval policy accepts the destination. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2026-117471 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Psono Server CE && EE versions 0.1.0 through 7.2.3 accepted a user-controlled host when configuring a personal Duo device and passed it to the Duo client without an allowlist or explicit timeout. An authenticated remote attacker could cause the server to connect to selected hosts over HTTPS on port 443 and distinguish failure modes, providing an internal DNS and service-reachability oracle. Connections still required TLS certificate validation, and the flaw did not provide arbitrary protocol or port access. Unresponsive targets could also occupy a server worker until the operating-system timeout. | Tue 27 Oct |

| CVE-2026-58211 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | linuxfoundation, nats-server | NATS Server is a high-performance server for NATS.io, the cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to 2.14.3 and 2.12.12, a client could be registered as the configured no_auth_user through a parser path used when the first client operation was not CONNECT, bypassing user-level connection restrictions such as allowed_connection_types or proxy_required that normal authentication would apply. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.3 and 2.12.12. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63141 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Missing Authorization (CWE-862) in Kibana allows an authenticated user to access and modify Cloud Connect configuration and service settings without the required feature privileges, via direct requests to insufficiently protected product endpoints. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-85985 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | mariadb | MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the CONNECT engine plugin file-access UDFs json_file(), bson_file(), jfile_make(), bfile_make(), and jbin_file() are affected because each does not enforce FILE privilege or the secure_file_priv setting. A low-privileged attacker can trigger the issue by calling a CONNECT file-access UDF with a filesystem path, then invoke a CONNECT file-access UDF to access a filesystem path and read or write files that the database account is not authorized to access, subject to operating-system permissions. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2025-24934 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Software which sets SO_REUSEPORT_LB on a socket and then connects it to a host will not directly observe any problems. However, due to its membership in a load-balancing group, that socket will receive packets originating from any host. This breaks the contract of the connect(2) and implied connect via sendto(2), and may leave the application vulnerable to spoofing attacks. The kernel failed to check the connection state of sockets when adding them to load-balancing groups. Furthermore, when looking up the destination socket for an incoming packet, the kernel will match a socket belonging to a load-balancing group even if it is connected, in violation of the contract that connected sockets are only supposed to receive packets originating from the connected host. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-8711 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | ivanti, connect_secure, policy_secure, zero_trust_access_gateway | CSRF in Ivanti Connect Secure before 22.7R2.9 or 22.8R2, Ivanti Policy Secure before 22.7R1.6, Ivanti ZTA Gateway before 2.8R2.3-723 and Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access before 22.8R1.4 (Fix deployed on 02-Aug-2025) allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute limited actions on behalf of the victim user. User interaction is required. | 18 Oct |

| CVE-2025-64149 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | jenkins, publish_to_bitbucket | A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Jenkins Publish to Bitbucket Plugin 0.4 and earlier allows attackers to connect to an attacker-specified URL using attacker-specified credentials IDs obtained through another method, capturing credentials stored in Jenkins. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-64150 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | jenkins, publish_to_bitbucket | A missing permission check in Jenkins Publish to Bitbucket Plugin 0.4 and earlier allows attackers with Overall/Read permission to connect to an attacker-specified URL using attacker-specified credentials IDs obtained through another method, capturing credentials stored in Jenkins. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-88892 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | openpanel-dev, openpanel | In OpenPanel through 2.3.0, the data importer fetches a caller-supplied URL with plain fetch instead of the project's existing SSRF guard (apps/api/src/utils/safe-fetch.ts). In packages/importer/src/providers/umami.ts, parseRemoteFile calls fetch() on config.fileUrl, which is validated only by z.string().url(), so values such as http://127.0.0.1:9911/ or http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/ are accepted; the shared createFileImportConfig factory gives the plausible provider the same field. An authenticated organization member — including a default 'member' with no project_access rows, for whom the intended access-level check is skipped because getProjectAccess returns boolean true rather than a level object — can therefore make the server connect to any address reachable from it. The resulting HTTP status and status text are persisted as Import.errorMessage and returned by import.get to the same user, providing a scanning oracle for internal hosts, ports and paths; if an internal response parses as Umami CSV, its rows are ingested as events and become readable in the attacker's analytics views. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-82388 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | bt_hfp_hf_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/hfp_hf.c allocates the per-connection HFP Hands-Free object with hfp_hf_create(), which starts an SDP discovery by passing the object's embedded hf->sdp_param to bt_sdp_discover(). That call links the caller-owned parameter block into the SDP client's request list (session->reqs in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/sdp.c). If the subsequent bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() then failed, the affected code wiped the entire object with (void)memset(new_hf, 0, sizeof(*new_hf)) while that discovery was still outstanding, zeroing the sys_snode_t _node that is still linked in the SDP client's list along with the request's func, uuid and pool pointers, and zeroing the hf->slc_work work item that may already be queued on the system workqueue. The discovery could not be retracted instead: bt_sdp_discover_cancel() is declared in include/zephyr/bluetooth/classic/sdp.h but has no implementation. The failing branch is reachable with peer-supplied input. The documented use of bt_hfp_hf_connect() is to pass the RFCOMM channel read out of the remote Audio Gateway's SDP record; neither bt_sdp_get_proto_param() nor bt_hfp_hf_connect() range-checks that value, so a remote device advertising an HFP AG record with an RFCOMM channel outside 1-30 makes bt_rfcomm_dlc_connect() return -EINVAL and drives the local device into the wipe. The same branch is reached without any application misuse when the remote peer controls connection timing, for example when the RFCOMM session is in BT_RFCOMM_STATE_DISCONNECTING or the ACL is dropped between object creation and the RFCOMM call. Once the object has been wiped, the Bluetooth host continues to use it: sdp_client_alloc_buf() dereferences session->param->pool, which is now NULL, and the SDP receive paths call session->param->func() through a null function pointer, neither of which is NULL-checked. Because the wipe also clears hf->acl, the pool slot is considered free and a retry or an incoming HFP connection re-appends the same still-linked list node, turning session->reqs into a self-referential list that the host's list walkers never leave. The result is a fault or an unrecoverable hang in the Bluetooth host thread; the stray indirect call is through an all-zero pointer whose target the attacker does not control, so the practical impact is denial of service. The fix keeps the object allocated and marks it with a new BT_HFP_HF_FLAG_RELEASING flag, letting bt_hfp_hf_discover_cb() release it once the discovery completes instead of destroying it under the SDP client. Only builds with CONFIG_BT_CLASSIC and CONFIG_BT_HFP_HF enabled are affected. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44838 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | broadcom, rabbitmq_server | RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 to before 4.2.4, RabbitMQ's MQTT plugin allows for topic-level authorization using regular expressions with variable substitution. Administrators can create patterns such as ^{client_id}-sensors$ to restrict user access to topics that include their client ID. However, the client_id is provided by the user in the MQTT CONNECT packet and is inserted into the regex pattern without escaping special regex characters. This flaw enables an authenticated MQTT user to inject regex operators to bypass authorization. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.4 and 4.3.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44087 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | apache, apisix | Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity vulnerability in Apache APISIX. The openid-connect plugin under default configuration has an attack surface that allows the attacker to spoof identity headers allowing the attacker to get unauthorized access the protected resources. This issue affects Apache APISIX: from 2.3 through 3.16.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.17.0, which fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56694 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanoClaw before 2.1.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the channel-registration approval flow where handleChannelApprovalResponse fails to validate admin privileges over target agent groups. Scoped admins can submit forged or stale connect callback values to wire messaging channels into out-of-scope agent groups, exposing unauthorized groups to unapproved channels and enabling unauthorized observation or control of restricted agent group activity. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54514 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | fasterxml, jackson-databind | jackson-databind contains the general-purpose data-binding functionality and tree-model for Jackson Data Processor. From 2.0.0 until 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4, JDKFromStringDeserializer constructed InetSocketAddress with new InetSocketAddress(host, port), which performs eager DNS name resolution for hostname inputs at deserialization time. An application that binds untrusted JSON into a type containing an InetSocketAddress field issues an attacker-chosen DNS query during readValue, before any application-level validation or connect logic. The fix uses InetSocketAddress.createUnresolved(host, port), deferring DNS to an explicit connect. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.18.8, 2.21.4, and 3.1.4. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57221 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | broadcom, rabbitmq_server | RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, RabbitMQ does not perform authorization checks on passive queue.declare and exchange.declare AMQP 0-9-1 operations, allowing any authenticated user who can connect to a virtual host to enumerate queue and exchange names and read queue message and consumer counts. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55639 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | neutrinolabs, xrdp | xrdp is an open source RDP server. Versions 0.10.6 and prior contain a vulnerability concerning the parsing of Client Security Data within the Client MCS Connect Initial PDU with GCC Conference Create Request during the connection sequence. During the initial capability and security negotiation phase, the parser fails to perform sufficient length validation for the incoming data block. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted RDP packet containing malformed data. Due to missing bounds checks, the xrdp process may read a small number of bytes beyond the declared data block boundary, potentially disclosing process memory contents that could be combined with other vulnerabilities. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.1. | 24 Oct |

| CVE-2026-17350 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | pgadmin, pgadmin_4 | The per-tool permission system (custom roles / role-based tool permissions, introduced in pgAdmin 4 9.3) did not enforce its permission check consistently. In SERVER mode, pgAdmin 4 gates each tool behind a per-tool Flask-Security permission, but the permission decorator (permissions_required) was applied only to a single "front door" route per tool. Every other backend route and Socket.IO handler in that tool's workflow relied solely on pga_login_required/socket_login_required, which check authentication but not the tool permission. The reporter verified three cases against a test build: (1) a user without tools_query_tool permission received 403 on the protected sqleditor initialization route, but the same session went on to connect the server, initialize the viewdata backend chain, and retrieve real table row content; (2) a user without tools_grant_wizard received 403 on the protected acl route, but the same session still enumerated grantable objects, generated GRANT SQL, and successfully applied it -- confirmed database-side via has_table_privilege(); (3) a user without tools_schema_diff received 403 on the protected panel route, but the same session initialized schema diff, enumerated and connected databases, and obtained real DDL differences via the compare_database Socket.IO handler. The reporter also confirmed a related but distinct issue: a non-owner triggering /misc/workspace/adhoc_connect_server against an administrator-owned shared server caused pgAdmin to persist a new server row still owned by the administrator (user_id/shared unchanged from the source), even though the connection attempt itself reported failure. During remediation, the same front-door-only permission gap was found to also affect the ERD, PSQL, and Debugger tools, and the Backup, Restore, Maintenance, and Import/Export blueprints, none of which were part of the original report; these were fixed using the same pattern as an extension of the reported defect class. An authenticated user who had valid pgAdmin login and a stored, working database connection, but had been explicitly denied a specific tool's permission by an administrator, could therefore still drive that tool end-to-end through its other routes and sockets, including obtaining an interactive psql session over the /pty Socket.IO namespace and invoking backup/restore/maintenance/import-export jobs. Because the bypass only restores access to tools operating over the user's own already-authenticated database connection, it does not grant the user any database privilege they did not already hold; it circumvents pgAdmin's own tool-level access-control policy (an organisational segregation-of-duties control, separate from database-level authorization), letting a user reach a pgAdmin feature an administrator intended to withhold from them, using capabilities their existing database role already permits through other means. Socket.IO event handlers had no permission-aware equivalent of permissions_required; only socket_login_required existed, checking authentication but not the tool permission. Fix adds a socket_permissions_required decorator (mirroring permissions_required, honouring the Administrator bypass, reading permissions via has_permission()) and applies it, alongside permissions_required, as the outermost decorator on every backend route and Socket.IO handler for the affected tools. Regression tests assert 403 on every gated route and socket handler for a permission-less user. This issue affects pgAdmin 4 in SERVER mode: from 9.3 before 9.17. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67405 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | broadcom, rabbitmq_server | RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, Neither the Web-MQTT handler (deps/rabbitmq_web_mqtt/src/rabbit_web_mqtt_handler.erl:104) nor the Web-STOMP handler (deps/rabbitmq_web_stomp/src/rabbit_web_stomp_handler.erl:102) validates the Origin header on the WebSocket upgrade. Under ssl_cert_login=true, the browser presents the client certificate automatically, so an attacker's JavaScript running in the victim's browser can authenticate as the victim. Preconditions include The non-default configuration use_http_auth=true (Web-STOMP) or ssl_cert_login=true (both plugins) must be enabled. The issue is harmless under the default in-band CONNECT credential configuration.. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-12043 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Autochat Automatic Conversation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'wp_ajax_nopriv_auycht_saveCid' AJAX endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to connect and disconnect the client ID. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108742 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | CloudBeaver through 25.3.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the initConnection GraphQL mutation that lets view-only shared-project members persist credentials without datasource-edit permission. Attackers can set saveCredentials and sharedCredentials flags with chosen authProperties so other users connect to the shared connection under the attacker's database identity. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67418 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, the MQTT 5 parser in deps/rabbitmq_mqtt/src/rabbit_mqtt_packet.erl accepts Request-Problem-Information on PUBLISH packets even though the property is valid only for CONNECT. An authenticated publisher with topic write permission can cause the broker to store and route that inapplicable property to a separately authenticated matching subscriber. When the subscriber path serializes the outbound PUBLISH, serialise_prop/2 has no matching clause, and the uncontained function_clause exception closes the victim MQTT or Web MQTT connection. The publisher connection and broker remain available, and queued replay, retained-message persistence, and broker-wide denial of service were not established. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107698 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | ffmpeg | FFmpeg before 7.1.4 and 8.0.x before 8.0.2 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in ff_rtsp_connect() in libavformat/rtsp.c that follows RTSP 3xx redirects without validating the Location URL. Malicious RTSP servers can redirect FFmpeg to internal hosts and ports under other schemes, bypassing -protocol_whitelist, to probe internal network services. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78021 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | dell, policy_manager_for_secure_connect_gateway | Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains a Generation of Error Message Containing Sensitive Information vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure and Information exposure. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-78015 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | dell, policy_manager_for_secure_connect_gateway | Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains an Use of Less Trusted Source vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information tampering. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107585 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Uncontrolled eviction in the pending sign-in tables of the REST API in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to make other users' OpenID Connect, SAML and passkey sign-ins fail. The routes that start a single sign-on and hand out a passkey sign-in challenge are reached without authentication and stored pending state in bounded tables that dropped their oldest entry when full, whoever had started it. An attacker who starts sign-ins a few times a second (about a hundred a second for passkeys) pushes every other user's pending sign-in out of the table before that user's browser returns, denying single sign-on and passkey sign-in for as long as the requests continue. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112356 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | GFI KerioConnect (Kerio Connect) before 10.0.9 Patch 2 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Webmail component that allows a remote attacker to spoof link targets or inject HTML into a message as rendered in a victim's authenticated Webmail session by sending a crafted email whose text is already inside a link. Attackers can exploit the link auto-formatter's re-processing of already-linked text, using quote characters to break out of the href attribute and inject attacker-controlled markup to execute script in the victim's session. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63336 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, com.rabbitmq.client.ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol() and ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol(String) configure com.rabbitmq.client.TrustEverythingTrustManager and leave hostname verification disabled, causing arbitrary server certificates, including self-signed certificates, to be accepted. A network attacker able to intercept a TLS connection can impersonate the RabbitMQ broker, read protected AMQP traffic, and modify traffic without certificate or hostname validation. The fix changes the production TLS helpers to use the JVM default trust store and enables hostname verification, while retaining an explicitly named development-only no-verification helper. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2025-40838 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | ericsson, indoor_connect_8855_firmware | Ericsson Indoor Connect 8855 contains a vulnerability where server-side security can be bypassed in the client which if exploited can lead to unauthorized disclosure of certain information. | 11 Oct |
| CVE-2026-120226 | 4.8 medium | — | hangzhou xiongmai technology, p2papi.dll | A security vulnerability has been detected in Hangzhou Xiongmai Technology P2PAPI.dll 1.3.3.32 on Windows. Affected by this issue is the function P2PAPI_Connect of the component P2P SDK. Such manipulation of the argument input as part of String leads to buffer overflow. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. | 8 h ago |
| CVE-2025-61661 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader) component. This flaw occurs because the bootloader mishandles string conversion when reading information from a USB device, allowing an attacker to exploit inconsistent length values. A local attacker can connect a maliciously configured USB device during the boot sequence to trigger this issue. A successful exploitation may lead GRUB to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Data corruption may be also possible, although given the complexity of the exploit the impact is most likely limited. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19735 | 4.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The RFC 6528 initial-sequence-number implementation in subsys/net/ip/tcp.c derived every TCP ISN from SHA-256(unique_key || four-tuple) plus a uptime-derived offset, where unique_key is a 128-bit secret filled once by sys_csrand_get(). The return value of that call was discarded and the once guard was latched to true even when the call failed. Because sys_csrand_get() leaves the destination buffer untouched on failure (it deliberately propagates the entropy-driver error rather than filling the buffer), a single failed call left unique_key as its all-zero BSS content for the remainder of the boot, with no retry, no log message and no fallback. A failure of the cryptographic random source is required to reach the weak state — for example -ENODEV/-EIO from the entropy driver in subsys/random/random_entropy_device.c (the in-tree comment notes that the hardware RNG "might still be gathering entropy during early boot situations"), or psa_generate_random() failing in subsys/random/random_psa.c when PSA crypto is not initialised or is backed by a Bluetooth-HCI entropy device that is not yet up. The first TCP connection is what triggers key generation, so a remote peer that reaches a listening port immediately after boot, or that can provoke a reboot, has indirect influence over whether generation coincides with that window. tcp_init_isn() is called for every passive open in tcp_conn_new() and every active open in net_tcp_connect(), so the poisoned key governs all TCP connections for that boot. With an all-zero key the ISN becomes a public function of the connection four-tuple plus a device-wide time offset. An off-path attacker can compute the hash term offline for any four-tuple and recover the shared time offset from a single observed ISN, after which the ISN the device will pick for other four-tuples is predictable. That defeats exactly the protection RFC 6528 provides: blind TCP connection spoofing against peers that trust the source address, and blind data injection into or reset of connections whose four-tuple can be guessed. Devices whose entropy source never errors were never in the weak state. The fix moves key generation into a single guarded helper that latches only on success, logs the error otherwise, and makes tcp_init_isn() fall back to sys_rand32_get() — the behaviour already used when CONFIG_NET_TCP_ISN_RFC6528 is disabled — instead of hashing with a known-constant key. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2024-57974 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp: Deal with race between UDP socket address change and rehash If a UDP socket changes its local address while it's receiving datagrams, as a result of connect(), there is a period during which a lookup operation might fail to find it, after the address is changed but before the secondary hash (port and address) and the four-tuple hash (local and remote ports and addresses) are updated. Secondary hash chains were introduced by commit 30fff9231fad ("udp: bind() optimisation") and, as a result, a rehash operation became needed to make a bound socket reachable again after a connect(). This operation was introduced by commit 719f835853a9 ("udp: add rehash on connect()") which isn't however a complete fix: the socket will be found once the rehashing completes, but not while it's pending. This is noticeable with a socat(1) server in UDP4-LISTEN mode, and a client sending datagrams to it. After the server receives the first datagram (cf. _xioopen_ipdgram_listen()), it issues a connect() to the address of the sender, in order to set up a directed flow. Now, if the client, running on a different CPU thread, happens to send a (subsequent) datagram while the server's socket changes its address, but is not rehashed yet, this will result in a failed lookup and a port unreachable error delivered to the client, as apparent from the following reproducer: LEN=$(($(cat /proc/sys/net/core/wmem_default) / 4)) dd if=/dev/urandom bs=1 count=${LEN} of=tmp.in while :; do taskset -c 1 socat UDP4-LISTEN:1337,null-eof OPEN:tmp.out, create, trunc & sleep 0.1 || sleep 1 taskset -c 2 socat OPEN:tmp.in UDP4:localhost:1337,shut-null wait done where the client will eventually get ECONNREFUSED on a write() (typically the second or third one of a given iteration): 2024/11/13 21:28:23 socat[46901] E write(6, 0x556db2e3c000, 8192): Connection refused This issue was first observed as a seldom failure in Podman's tests checking UDP functionality while using pasta(1) to connect the container's network namespace, which leads us to a reproducer with the lookup error resulting in an ICMP packet on a tap device: LOCAL_ADDR="$(ip -j -4 addr show|jq -rM '.[] | .addr_info[0] | select(.scope == "global").local')" while :; do ./pasta --config-net -p pasta.pcap -u 1337 socat UDP4-LISTEN:1337,null-eof OPEN:tmp.out, create, trunc & sleep 0.2 || sleep 1 socat OPEN:tmp.in UDP4:${LOCAL_ADDR}:1337,shut-null wait cmp tmp.in tmp.out done Once this fails: tmp.in tmp.out differ: char 8193, line 29 we can finally have a look at what's going on: $ tshark -r pasta.pcap 1 0.000000 :: ? ff02::16 ICMPv6 110 Multicast Listener Report Message v2 2 0.168690 88.198.0.161 ? 88.198.0.164 UDP 8234 60260 ? 1337 Len=8192 3 0.168767 88.198.0.161 ? 88.198.0.164 UDP 8234 60260 ? 1337 Len=8192 4 0.168806 88.198.0.161 ? 88.198.0.164 UDP 8234 60260 ? 1337 Len=8192 5 0.168827 c6:47:05:8d:dc:04 ? | CVE-2026-109969 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A flaw was found in the clevis PKCS#11 pin. The clevis-pkcs11-afunix-socket-unlock daemon creates AF_UNIX sockets without explicit permission restrictions or peer credential verification. Under a permissive process umask, any local user can connect to the control socket and inject arbitrary device/key pairs, or connect to the data socket to receive LUKS passphrases. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-66270 | 4.7 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The KDE Connect protocol 8 before 2025-11-28 does not correlate device IDs across two packets. This affects KDE Connect before 25.12 on desktop, KDE Connect before 0.5.4 on iOS, KDE Connect before 1.34.4 on Android, GSConnect before 68, and Valent before 1.0.0.alpha.49. | 18 Oct |
