CVE-2026-68348 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: tas2781: bound firmware description string parsing The TAS2781 firmware parser reads several variable-length description strings with strlen() before checking that the string terminator is present inside the firmware blob. A malformed firmware image without a NUL terminator can therefore make the parser walk past the end of the firmware buffer before the later size checks run. Add a small bounded string-length helper and use it for all description fields that are parsed from the firmware buffer. Keep the existing size checks for the fixed bytes that follow each string. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89826 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: harden firmware build-info bounds checks panthor_fw_read_build_info() checks whether the metadata range fits in the firmware image with hdr.meta_start + hdr.meta_size. Both fields are u32, so the addition can wrap and let an out-of-bounds range pass validation. The function also reads the "git_sha: " prefix without first checking that the metadata is long enough, and meta_size == 0 can underflow the NULL terminator index. Use subtraction-based bounds checking and reject metadata that is too short to contain the expected prefix and trailing NULL byte. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-66293 7.1 high 0.00% libpng LIBPNG is a reference library for use in applications that read, create, and manipulate PNG (Portable Network Graphics) raster image files. Prior to 1.6.52, an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in libpng's simplified API allows reading up to 1012 bytes beyond the png_sRGB_base[512] array when processing valid palette PNG images with partial transparency and gamma correction. The PNG files that trigger this vulnerability are valid per the PNG specification; the bug is in libpng's internal state management. Upgrade to libpng 1.6.52 or later. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-104875 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Ente provides end-to-end encrypted cloud services and security tools. Prior to server image 2026.07.09, the POST /emergency-contacts/approve-recovery endpoint authorized approval using a client-supplied userID and updated an emergency recovery session using only its client-supplied recovery-session UUID. An accepted emergency contact could submit the contact's own identifier, transition the victim's session from WAITING to READY, clear wait_till, retrieve recovery information, and continue account recovery before the owner-configured notice period expired. Exploitation of the approval bypass required the victim to have previously added and accepted the attacker as an emergency contact, and it did not create recovery rights for an arbitrary account. Separately, the same insufficiently scoped update pattern affected the reject and stop recovery transitions, allowing a user who knew another recovery-session UUID to potentially cancel a session to which the user was not a party. This issue is fixed in server image 2026.07.09. 16 Oct
CVE-2022-49883 7.1 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: smm: number of GPRs in the SMRAM image depends on the image format On 64 bit host, if the guest doesn't have X86_FEATURE_LM, KVM will access 16 gprs to 32-bit smram image, causing out-ouf-bound ram access. On 32 bit host, the rsm_load_state_64/enter_smm_save_state_64 is compiled out, thus access overflow can't happen. 15 Oct
CVE-2024-47723 7.1 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: fix out-of-bounds in dbNextAG() and diAlloc() In dbNextAG() , there is no check for the case where bmp->db_numag is greater or same than MAXAG due to a polluted image, which causes an out-of-bounds. Therefore, a bounds check should be added in dbMount(). And in dbNextAG(), a check for the case where agpref is greater than bmp->db_numag should be added, so an out-of-bounds exception should be prevented. Additionally, a check for the case where agno is greater or same than MAXAG should be added in diAlloc() to prevent out-of-bounds. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-62034 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Unauthenticated Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in Before After Image Comparison – Image comparison for WP <= 1.1.21 versions. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-53532 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. In versions 3.4.0 through 3.4.12, a crafted HTJ2K-compressed EXR file causes an unconditional process abort in any application that calls exr_start_read() on untrusted input, resulting in denial of service. The crash is triggered by a QCD marker whose lower five bits are zero, which OpenEXR passes into the vendored OpenJPH library while constructing the codestream and evaluating its quantization delta parameters. OpenJPH uses an assertion rather than a recoverable error to validate those bits, so any invalid value calls abort() directly and cannot be intercepted by surrounding error handling, a problem compounded by OpenEXR wrapping only its internal HT header parser in error handling while leaving the later codestream read and construction calls unprotected. This issue has been resolved in version 3.4.13. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-42617 7.1 high 0.00% tuxera, ntfs-3g In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_ir_to_ib() in index.c that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. The overflow is triggered by extending a directory, e.g., by creating a file. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-42618 7.1 high 0.00% tuxera, ntfs-3g In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_decompress() in compress.c that allows an attacker to corrupt one byte of heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. CVE-2026-55092 7.0 high 0.00% aquasec, trivy Trivy is a security scanner. Prior to 0.71.1, when Trivy downloads an OCI artifact, it uses the org.opencontainers.image.title annotation from the artifact manifest as the destination filename without validation. An attacker who can make Trivy fetch an attacker-controlled artifact can supply a crafted annotation that resolves to a path outside the intended destination, causing Trivy to write the layer content to an arbitrary location on the host filesystem. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.71.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-62439 7.0 high 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw was found in GIMP. An integer overflow occurs in the file-pvr plug-in when calculating memory buffer sizes for image dimensions. By tricking a user into opening or previewing a specially crafted PowerVR (.pvr) file, an attacker can trigger a heap-based buffer overflow, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a Denial of Service (DoS) via an application crash. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-97926 7.0 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ufs: validate cylinder group metadata before caching it ufs_read_cylinder() copies the cylinder group index and the rotor positions straight from the on-disk group and caches them without any check: ucpi->c_cgx = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_cgx); ucpi->c_rotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_rotor); ucpi->c_frotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_frotor); ucpi->c_irotor = fs32_to_cpu(sb, ucg->cg_irotor); They are then used as indices during allocation and free: - c_cgx indexes the cylinder summary array as UFS_SB(sb)->fs_cs(ucpi->c_cgx), so a value past s_ncg writes a 32 bit count outside the s_csp allocation. - c_frotor becomes a bitmap scan start, start = c_frotor >> 3, and then length = ((s_fpg + 7) >> 3) - start. A start beyond the block bitmap wraps the unsigned length to a huge value, so ubh_scanc() walks far past the cylinder group buffers. c_irotor drives the inode bitmap the same way. A crafted image can set any of these freely, turning an ordinary allocation into an out of bounds access. Reject a cylinder group whose recorded index does not match the group being read, or whose rotors fall outside the group, before the metadata is cached. Valid filesystems keep cg_cgx equal to the group number and the rotors within the group, so only malformed images are rejected. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-85823 7.0 high 0.00% microsoft, windows_11_24h2, windows_11_25h2, windows_11_26h1 Use after free in Windows Composite Image File System allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. 16 Oct

CVE-2026-107153 7.0 high 0.00% no CPE yet Multiple smartphones provided by Rakuten Mobile, Inc. utilize AOSP test keys for their Android Verified Boot (AVB) functionality. With physical access to the affected device, a crafted system image may be installed. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-78465 7.0 high 0.00% gimp A flaw was found in the file-pcx plugin in GIMP, affecting 32-bit builds only. When processing a PCX image file, the plugin calculates memory allocation sizes based on the image dimensions and the number of color planes. If a crafted file sets the number of planes to 4 alongside sufficiently large dimensions, the calculation exceeds the 32-bit integer limit and overflows, resulting in an undersized heap-based buffer allocation. This integer overflow issue results in a heap-based buffer overflow when the plugin subsequently writes image data into the undersized buffer, causing memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a denial of service. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-59957 7.0 high 0.00% juniper, junos An Origin Validation Error vulnerability in an insufficient protected file of Juniper Networks Junos OS on EX4600 Series and QFX5000 Series allows an unauthenticated attacker with physical access to the device to create a backdoor which allows complete control of the system. When a device isn't configured with a root password, an attacker can modify a specific file. It's contents will be added to the Junos configuration of the device without being visible. This allows for the addition of any configuration unknown to the actual operator, which includes users, IP addresses and other configuration which could allow unauthorized access to the device. This exploit is persistent across reboots and even zeroization. The indicator of compromise is a modified /etc/config/<platform>-defaults[-flex].conf file. Review that file for unexpected configuration statements, or compare it to an unmodified version which can be extracted from the original Juniper software image file. For details on the extraction procedure please contact Juniper Technical Assistance Center (JTAC). To restore the device to a trusted initial configuration the system needs to be reinstalled from physical media. This issue affects Junos OS on EX4600 Series and QFX5000 Series: * All versions before 21.4R3, * 22.2 versions before 22.2R3-S3. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-104063 6.9 medium — scribus Scribus before 1.6.7 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Mac PICT image loader and import plugin when decoding planar pixel data. Attackers can supply a crafted PICT file with manipulated dimensions that, when placed or imported, causes heap over-reads leading to crashes or heap memory disclosure. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-116141 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in the UHDR decoder that allows attackers to evade image width and height limits because extent checks occur after decoding. Attackers can supply crafted UHDR images with oversized dimensions that are fully decoded before policy limits are enforced, causing excessive resource consumption. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-114491 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet pdfmake 0.3.8 before 0.3.12 fails to apply the setLocalAccessPolicy() restriction to images referenced inside SVG content, allowing attackers to read blocked local files. Attackers supplying a document definition can add an SVG image href pointing to a local path, embedding restricted file contents in the generated PDF. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-112898 6.9 medium 0.00% python, pillow Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 9.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow can disclose uninitialized stack memory when Image.quantize() uses an empty palette. ImagingPaletteCacheUpdate() leaves a local cache array uninitialized when the palette has zero entries, and the conversion path emits those bytes as output pixel indices. An attacker who controls the palette image can obtain stack contents from a returned PNG or GIF. This can disclose addresses and stack-canary data without an out-of-bounds access, memory corruption, or process crash. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-114657 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Grav from 2.0.0 before 2.2.5 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows page authors to capture visitors' HTTP Basic credentials through Twig page content. Attackers can supply a crafted Parallels disk image descriptor with a long directory prefix and short basename to crash the process or expose adjacent heap memory. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-117555 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet CImg through 4.0.6 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the _load_bmp() function of CImg.h caused by an integer overflow in the row byte count. Attackers can supply a crafted BMP file with a large header width that wraps dx_bytes, causing crashes or heap memory disclosure into the decoded image. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-117557 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SDL_image through 3.4.8 and through 2.8.12 contains a stack out-of-bounds read vulnerability in IMG_LoadLBM_IO() in src/IMG_lbm.c that skips bitplane count validation when HAM mode is set. Attackers can supply a crafted ILBM file with more than 8 HAM bitplanes to read past the colormap stack array, causing crashes or disclosing stack memory. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-42841 6.9 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, an authenticated user with page editing permissions can inject an executable JavaScript event-handler attribute into rendered image HTML through Grav's Markdown media action syntax. The issue is caused by Markdown image query parameters being converted into callable media actions. The public attribute() media method can be reached this way, allowing an editor to set an arbitrary HTML attribute name and value on the generated image element. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-111124 6.9 medium 0.00% nasa, cfitsio CFITSIO through 4.7.0 contains a heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the imcompress.c unquantize helpers that allows attackers to read memory before the fits_rand_value table via a zero or negative ZDITHER0 seed. Attackers can supply a crafted FITS file with a SUBTRACTIVE_DITHER_1 compressed image, read through fits_open_file() and fits_read_pix(), to cause crashes or leak heap contents in decoded pixels. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-70651 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. Prior to version 8.18.3, libvips built without libtiff support but with ImageMagick support can overflow the combined frame height while loading a crafted multi-page TIFF through VipsForeignLoadMagick. The vulnerable calculations in libvips/foreign/magick6load.c and libvips/foreign/magick7load.c multiply the per-page Ysize by n_frames without a checked bound, which can cause a heap buffer over-read and process crash. Most package-manager builds include libtiff and do not use this affected fallback path. This issue is fixed in version 8.18.3. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63086 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet text-generation-inference through 3.3.7 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the OpenAI-compatible multimodal chat completions endpoint that allows unauthenticated network attackers to coerce the server into issuing arbitrary HTTP GET requests by supplying a crafted image_url value in chat message content. The fetch_image function in router/src/validation.rs performs no validation of private, loopback, link-local, or cloud metadata target addresses, and the reqwest HTTP client follows redirects by default, enabling attackers to bypass scheme checks via redirect chains to reach internal services and cloud instance-metadata endpoints for internal port scanning and credential theft. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-47709 6.9 medium 0.00% struktur, libheif libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Versions prior to 1.22.0 crashes in the public C API `heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling()` when a malformed uncompressed HEIF image item has an associated `uncC` property but no associated `ispe` property. In debug builds this trips the `ispe && uncC` assertion in `ImageItem_uncompressed::get_heif_image_tiling()`. In a release/NDEBUG ASan build, the same file causes a null pointer read at address `0xa8`. Version 1.22.0 fixes the issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-34336 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet eGovFramework/egovframe-common-components versions up to and including 4.3.1 contain an unauthenticated file upload vulnerability via the /utl/wed/insertImage.do and /utl/wed/insertImageCk.do image upload endpoints. These controllers accept multipart requests without authentication, pass the uploaded content to a shared upload helper, and store the file on the server under a framework-controlled path. The framework then returns a download URL that can be used to retrieve the uploaded content, including an attacker-controlled Content-Type within the limits of the image upload functionality. While a filename extension whitelist is enforced, the attacker fully controls the file contents. The response MIME type used is also attacker-controlled when the file is served up to version < 4.1.2. Since version 4.1.2, it is possible to download any image uploaded with any whitelisted content type. But any file uploaded other than an image will be served with the `application/octet-stream` content type (the content type is no longer controlled by the attacker since version 4.1.2). This enables an unauthenticated attacker to use any affected application as a persistent file hosting service for arbitrary content under the application's origin. KISA/KrCERT has identified this unpatched vulnerability as "KVE-2023-5280." 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111275 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet nifti_clib through 3.0.1 contains a stack-based out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability in nifti_convert_n2hdr2nim() because the NIfTI-2 dim[0] value is never range-checked. Attackers can supply a crafted 540-byte NIfTI-2 header read via nifti_image_read() to crash applications or corrupt stack memory. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-111130 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OpenSlide through 4.0.1 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MIRAX reader that allows attackers to read past the slide_positions array via crafted Slidedat.ini values. Attackers can supply a MIRAX slide whose CameraImageDivisionsPerSide does not evenly divide the image counts, crashing applications that open it and corrupting tile geometry. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-112067 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The extension hides the correct answer to each CAPTCHA inside the image data of the CAPTCHA itself. Anyone who can request a CAPTCHA image can read the answer from it and submit it, so automated clients can pass the challenge. This applies to the default configuration, because the audio feature that causes the answer to be embedded is enabled by default. Forms that rely on the CAPTCHA as their only protection against automated submissions are exposed to abuse by bots. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-112275 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Netpbm through 11.16.00 contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the rasttopnm Sun rasterfile run-length decoder pr_load_image in converter/other/rast.c. Attackers can supply a byte-encoded rasterfile with tiny dimensions and a long run-length body to write controlled bytes past md_image, causing memory corruption and crashes. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-65092 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.5.1, 5.4.3, and 5.3.4, when the ESP32-P4 uses its hardware JPEG decoder, the software parser lacks necessary validation checks. A specially crafted (malicious) JPEG image could exploit the parsing routine and trigger an out-of-bounds array access. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.5.2, 5.4.4, and 5.3.5. At time of publication versions 5.5.2, 5.4.4, and 5.3.5 have not been released but are fixed respectively in commits 4b8f585, c79cb4d, and 34e2726. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-105751 6.9 medium 0.00% docling Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.107.0 until 2.120.3, docling/backend/opendocument_backend.py uses the xlink:href attribute value of a draw:image element as a filesystem path when the referenced part is not found in the document archive. The _image_ref_from_odf_image function reads that attacker-controlled path without a scheme check, extraction-directory confinement, or the enable_local_fetch setting used by other backends. Readable files that Pillow can decode as images are embedded in converted output, and other existing paths can be distinguished through the attempted read. This issue is fixed in 2.120.3. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-111652 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Engineercms through 2.0.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in AttachController.Attachment that allows unauthenticated attackers to download project image and video attachments.
