CVE-2026-55872 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet GYM One is open-source gym management software for fitness centers, personal trainers, and sports clubs. Prior to 1.4.1, GYM One's admin/users/index.php renders the stored firstname, lastname, and email profile fields into the administrator user list without HTML output encoding. An attacker who can store values in those fields can cause content to execute in an administrator's browser when the administrator visits /admin/users/. The persistent script can access administrator-session data or perform actions with the administrator's privileges until the stored record is removed. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-53230 8.7 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix slab-out-of-bounds in mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list() sizes its firmware command buffer using the PF's log_max_current_uc/mc_list capabilities. When querying a VF vport with a larger configured max (via devlink), the firmware response can overflow this buffer: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list+0x453/0x4c0 [mlx5_core] Read of size 4 at addr ff1100013ffc8a12 by task kworker/u96:2/385 CPU: 12 UID: 0 PID: 385 Comm: kworker/u96:2 Not tainted 7.0.0-rc6+ #1 PREEMPT Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009) Workqueue: mlx5_esw_wq esw_vport_change_handler [mlx5_core] Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x69/0xa0 print_report+0x176/0x4e4 kasan_report+0xc8/0x100 mlx5_query_nic_vport_mac_list+0x453/0x4c0 [mlx5_core] esw_update_vport_addr_list+0x2e3/0xda0 [mlx5_core] esw_vport_change_handle_locked+0xa1f/0x1060 [mlx5_core] esw_vport_change_handler+0x6a/0x90 [mlx5_core] process_one_work+0x87f/0x15e0 worker_thread+0x62b/0x1020 kthread+0x375/0x490 ret_from_fork+0x4dc/0x810 ret_from_fork_asm+0x11/0x20 </TASK> Fix by querying the vport's own HCA caps to size the buffer correctly. Refactor the function to allocate and return the MAC list internally, removing the caller's dependency on knowing the correct max. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-59734 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet It is possible to cause an use-after-free write in SANM decoding with a carefully crafted animation using subversion <2. When a STOR chunk is present, a subsequent FOBJ chunk will be saved in ctx->stored_frame. Stored frames can later be referenced by FTCH chunks. For files using subversion < 2, the undecoded frame is stored, and decoded again when the FTCH chunks are parsed. However, in process_frame_obj if the frame has an invalid size, there’s an early return, with a value of 0. This causes the code in decode_frame to still store the raw frame buffer into ctx->stored_frame. Leaving ctx->has_dimensions set to false. A subsequent chunk with type FTCH would call process_ftch and decode that frame obj again, adding to the top/left values and calling process_frame_obj again. Given that we never set ctx->have_dimensions before, this time we set the dimensions, calling init_buffers, which can reallocate the buffer in ctx->stored_frame, freeing the previous one. However, the GetByteContext object gb still holds a reference to the old buffer. Finally, when the code tries to decode the frame, codecs that accept a GetByteContext as a parameter will trigger a use-after-free read when using gb. GetByteContext is only used for reading bytes, so at most one could read invalid data. There are no heap allocations between the free and when the object is accessed. However, upon returning to process_ftch, the code restores the original values for top/left in stored_frame, writing 4 bytes to the freed data at offset 6, potentially corrupting the allocator’s metadata. This issue can be triggered just by probing whether a file has the sanm format. We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-111710 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Netcore NR256CN through 1.5.140116 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Boa web server's user_auth() function that allows unauthenticated attackers to crash the server via a malformed Authorization header. Attackers can send a Basic Authorization value lacking a colon, such as one decoding to a single character, to protected routes like /router/get_user_type.cgi to kill the main Boa process and deny management interface access. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-68906 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, parseUserInformation in src/mms/iso_acse/acse.c checks len for zero before validating the negative bufPos returned by BerDecoder_decodeLength for a truncated long-form length. The continue path therefore swallows the error, reads buffer[-1], resets parsing to the beginning, and repeats the same malformed state. An unauthenticated remote peer can send a malformed AARE PDU during association to cause an infinite CPU loop under a normal allocator or a one-byte out-of-bounds read and process abort when the preceding byte is inaccessible. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-61990 8.7 high 0.00% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall When using a multi-bladed platform with more than one blade, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. 18 Oct

CVE-2026-106464 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet `_nx_secure_x509_parse_signature_data` computes the certificate signature's length as `tlv_length - 1` without first checking that `tlv_length` is non-zero. A certificate whose signature is an empty ASN.1 BIT STRING therefore parses successfully and leaves the certificate holding a signature length of `0xFFFFFFFF` and a signature pointer one byte past the end of the buffer. Certificates are parsed from the peer during the TLS handshake, so the input is remote and unauthenticated. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-105667 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the default configuration, the HL7 listener accepts ADT^A40 patient-merge messages without authenticating the sending application. A remote sender can reassign studies and related workflow records from one patient identity to another. The archive's unmerge does not reverse this. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108714 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet MCP Kotlin SDK through 0.15.0 contains an uncontrolled memory allocation vulnerability that allows remote clients to exhaust server memory because Application.mcpWebSocket installs Ktor WebSockets without a maxFrameSize limit. Attackers can send small frame headers declaring payloads near 2 GiB over one or a few connections, forcing huge heap allocations and causing denial of service. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-103903 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet An incorrect authorization vulnerability in the WinBox authentication flow of MikroTik RouterOS allows a remote authenticated attacker with credentials for a low-privilege account permitted to use WinBox to obtain the authorization policy of a different existing account. The stage-one EC-SRP challenge and proof are verified using the attacker's account, while the independently supplied stage-two username is used to install the target account's privileges. By specifying a higher-privilege account such as admin, a low-privilege user can obtain a full administrative session without knowing the target account's password and can use that session to increase the privileges of the attacker's own account. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-102023 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in fwstatsd of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an authenticated network attacker to cause a denial of service via an SNMP firewall-counter MIB query when at least one firewall counter is configured. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-102081 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A Missing Release of Memory after Effective Lifetime vulnerability in the packet forwarding engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a complete Denial-of-Service (DoS). On SRX4000 Series, and SRX5000 Series with SPC3, and MX Series with SPC3, when one or more specific application services like ALGs, IDP/DPI, APPID, SECINTEL, AAMW or AppQoE are configured, a high connections per second churn will cause PFE memory to leak. If the memory is exhausted traffic processing will be impacted. Use the CLI command show security monitoring to monitor the memory utilization of the PFEs on the FPCs. This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series and MX Series: * 23.4 versions from 23.4R2-S3 before 23.4R2-S7; * 24.2 versions from 24.2R2 before 24.2R2-S3; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S3; * 25.2 versions before 25.2R1-S2, 25.2R2. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109608 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Frappe ERPNext before 15.121.0 and 16.x before 16.34.0 contains an SQL injection vulnerability in several endpoints that lack input validation. Any authenticated user, including one with no assigned roles, can send specially crafted requests to read other users' sensitive information and escalate to a privileged account. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109667 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Frappe ERPNext before 15.111.0 and 16.x before 16.22.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in a record-creation endpoint that takes the record type from the request and inserts the record with permission checks disabled. Any authenticated user, including one holding no operational role, can supply a privileged record type to create privileged accounts and take full control of the site. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-59728 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet When calculating the content path in handling of MPEG-DASH manifests, there's an out-of-bounds NUL-byte write one byte past the end of the buffer. When we call xmlNodeGetContent below [0], it returns a buffer precisely allocated to match the string length, using strdup internally. If this buffer is not an empty string, it is assigned to root_url at [1].If the last (non-NUL) byte in this buffer is not '/' then we append '/' in-place at [2]. This will write two bytes into the buffer, starting at the last valid byte in the buffer, writing the NUL byte beyond the end of the allocated buffer. We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-114083 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Trigger.dev before 4.5.0-rc.3 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the api/v1/packets and api/v2/packets endpoints that allows authenticated tenants to escape their object key prefix through an unsanitized filename splat segment. Attackers holding one valid API key can supply ../ sequences to obtain presigned GET or PUT URLs and read or overwrite other tenants' run payloads and outputs. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-50190 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Shaarli is a personal bookmarking service. Versions prior to 0.16.3 are vulnerable to stored XSS in `application/front/controller/visitor/BookmarkListController.php`. The `permalink` handler concatenates the raw `$bookmark->getTitle()` into the `pagetitle` template variable and the RainTPL template emits it into the document `<title>` element without HTML escaping. A bookmark title containing `</title><script>...</script>` closes the document title early and the injected script executes in the Shaarli origin for any visitor of `/shaare/{hash}`. Shaarli's metadata fetcher copies a remote page's `<title>` text verbatim into the local bookmark title, so an attacker who hosts an attacker-controlled URL and convinces an administrator to bookmark it plants the payload with no further interaction — and the resulting permalink fires for every visitor including the administrator on first save, providing a one-shot administrator account takeover. Version 0.16.3 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-10848 8.6 high 0.00% zephyrproject, zephyr The OCPP 1.6 client in subsys/net/lib/ocpp parsed inbound WAMP RPC frames in parse_rpc_msg() (subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp_j.c) using a hand-rolled helper, extract_string_field(), that copied the message's uid and action fields with strncpy(out_buf, token + 1, outlen - 1) and then scanned the result with strchr(out_buf, '"'). Because strncpy does not NUL-terminate the destination when the source is at least outlen - 1 (127) bytes long, the subsequent strchr reads past the 128-byte destination buffer into adjacent stack memory; if a " byte is found beyond the buffer, a one-byte out-of-bounds NUL write also occurs. A related defect in extract_payload() runs strchr/strrchr over the receive buffer, which may not be NUL-terminated when a maximal-length frame fills it. The parsed bytes come directly from the OCPP central-system server over a websocket: the reader thread fills recv_buf via websocket_recv_msg() and calls parse_rpc_msg() on each inbound DATA frame (subsys/net/lib/ocpp/ocpp.c). A malicious or compromised central server, or an on-path attacker (OCPP is commonly deployed over plain ws://), can send an RPC frame whose uid or action field is 127+ bytes with no closing quote, triggering the out-of-bounds access. The primary impact is a remotely triggerable denial of service: the unbounded scan can fault on an unmapped page, and the stray NUL write can corrupt adjacent stack state. The over-read data is not reflected to the peer, so disclosure is limited. The feature is EXPERIMENTAL and must be explicitly enabled (CONFIG_OCPP). The fix replaces the manual parser with the bounds-respecting json_mixed_arr_parse() and copies the extracted uid with an explicitly NUL-terminated buffer, eliminating both over-reads. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-58497 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Uni-CLI gives people and agents one command interface for websites, browsers, desktop applications, local tools, and MCP. Prior to version 0.225.2, Uni-CLI exposed the legacy JSON-RPC-over-HTTP MCP transport on loopback without validating browser Origin headers before routing requests. A malicious web page could send a CORS simple POST request, such as text/plain, to the local /mcp endpoint and deliver a JSON-RPC body to the dispatcher. If the user had started the local MCP HTTP transport, that page could drive tools/call requests against the user's local Uni-CLI server. The Streamable HTTP transport already enforced this browser-to-localhost boundary. The legacy stateless HTTP path did not, so the two HTTP transports had drifted. This issue is about the browser-to-localhost boundary; it does not change Uni-CLI's local-code-execution trust model. This issue has been patched in version 0.225.2. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113874 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet SmileCDR HAPI FHIR allows an untrusted bundle body to replace a partition identity previously established by a trusted source, and does not enforce storage partition entitlement by default. An attacker authorized for one tenant can read from or write to another tenant's partition. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111639 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet bbs-go through 4.4.6 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the /api/login/google_one_tap endpoint that allows remote attackers to log in as other users by submitting Google ID tokens issued to any OAuth client. Attackers operating their own Google OAuth client can capture a victim's Google-signed ID token and replay it, since the aud claim is never checked, to obtain an authenticated session as the victim's Google-linked account. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-107186 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet An unauthenticated user can send a DWR request with isPasswordUppercase as one call method and the next call method can be set to a run workflow rule. This allows for workflow rules to be run without authentication. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-111767 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. From version 1.24.0 to before version 1.32.0, the experimental tasks feature (taskStore) did not check which session created a task. Clients sharing one InMemoryTaskStore could list, read and cancel each other's tasks. This issue has been patched in version 1.32.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-43139 8.6 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm6: fix uninitialized saddr in xfrm6_get_saddr() xfrm6_get_saddr() does not check the return value of ipv6_dev_get_saddr(). When ipv6_dev_get_saddr() fails to find a suitable source address (returns -EADDRNOTAVAIL), saddr->in6 is left uninitialized, but xfrm6_get_saddr() still returns 0 (success). This causes the caller xfrm_tmpl_resolve_one() to use the uninitialized address in xfrm_state_find(), triggering KMSAN warning: ===================================================== BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in xfrm_state_find+0x2424/0xa940 xfrm_state_find+0x2424/0xa940 xfrm_resolve_and_create_bundle+0x906/0x5a20 xfrm_lookup_with_ifid+0xcc0/0x3770 xfrm_lookup_route+0x63/0x2b0 ip_route_output_flow+0x1ce/0x270 udp_sendmsg+0x2ce1/0x3400 inet_sendmsg+0x1ef/0x2a0 __sock_sendmsg+0x278/0x3d0 __sys_sendto+0x593/0x720 __x64_sys_sendto+0x130/0x200 x64_sys_call+0x332b/0x3e70 do_syscall_64+0xd3/0xf80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f Local variable tmp.i.i created at: xfrm_resolve_and_create_bundle+0x3e3/0x5a20 xfrm_lookup_with_ifid+0xcc0/0x3770 ===================================================== Fix by checking the return value of ipv6_dev_get_saddr() and propagating the error. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-9906 8.6 high 0.00% keras The Keras Model.load_model method can be exploited to achieve arbitrary code execution, even with safe_mode=True. One can create a specially crafted .keras model archive that, when loaded via Model.load_model, will trigger arbitrary code to be executed. This is achieved by crafting a special config.json (a file within the .keras archive) that will invoke keras.config.enable_unsafe_deserialization() to disable safe mode. Once safe mode is disable, one can use the Lambda layer feature of keras, which allows arbitrary Python code in the form of pickled code. Both can appear in the same archive. Simply the keras.config.enable_unsafe_deserialization() needs to appear first in the archive and the Lambda with arbitrary code needs to be second. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-65198 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Huawei's openUBMC ships a default SNMPv3 USM key that uses one value for both authentication and privacy. An attacker who holds the key (recoverable from the open-source build) can authenticate SNMPv3 to, and decrypt SNMPv3 traffic from, any unit that still carries the shipped key. The build customization `manifest/build/customization/default_password.lua` sets `AuthenticationKey == EncryptionKey == 7df2f29369e3ac3245b2c9d46b67a0ecd055197e41808a34ef325db2f6422581` for the iBMC product build, and the community seed `account/manufacture/default_password.lua` sets both to `7a2f5b86f20233ec7b7bef49643fbf34d86d0cbf6f1f8f5c52d4f30d4536938b`. These are shipped constants, not per-unit values, and they are not rotated by the Administrator password reset, so they survive account provisioning. This is especially dangerous considering that SNMP access is mapped to full device administration privileges, including system reset and firmware upgrades. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-81420 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Tcard WP WordPress plugin through 1.8.0 does not sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement in one of its unauthenticated AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to perform SQL injection attacks. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-39974 8.5 high 0.00% n8n-mcp n8n-MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides AI assistants with comprehensive access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.47.4, an authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery in n8n-mcp allows a caller holding a valid AUTH_TOKEN to cause the server to issue HTTP requests to arbitrary URLs supplied through multi-tenant HTTP headers. Response bodies are reflected back through JSON-RPC, so an attacker can read the contents of any URL the server can reach — including cloud instance metadata endpoints (AWS IMDS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba, Oracle), internal network services, and any other host the server process has network access to. The primary at-risk deployments are multi-tenant HTTP installations where more than one operator can present a valid AUTH_TOKEN, or where a token is shared with less-trusted clients. Single-tenant stdio deployments and HTTP deployments without multi-tenant headers are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.47.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-5064 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified in the HP One Agent for certain HP PC products, which might allow for escalation of privilege and/or denial of service. HP is releasing software updates to mitigate these potential vulnerabilities. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54307 8.5 high 0.00% n8n n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2, a member-level user with editor access to a shared workflow could reference credentials they do not own via specific public API endpoints. Credential ownership checks were only enforced partially leading to cross-user credential access. This issue affects instances where workflow sharing is enabled and at least one workflow has been shared with a member-level user as an Editor. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-91093 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet A potential security vulnerability has been identified in HP One Agent for certain HP PC products, which might allow for escalation of privilege and/or arbitrary code execution. HP is releasing software updates to mitigate the potential vulnerability. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-95109 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Cortex-A7 MMU Modules port validates a caller-supplied buffer by translating **one address** — the first byte. The common Module Manager hands its range check the module instance, the start address and the complete byte size; the Cortex-A7 implementation discarded the instance and the size and asked the MMU a single question about the start. A memory-protected module therefore passed any range whose first byte was user-readable, however far the rest of it reached. Privileged dispatch code then read or wrote the whole range. Because every protected-module dispatcher that consumes a buffer or an extra-parameter array goes through this one macro, the defect is not in any individual service: it is in the primitive all of them rely on. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-87687 8.5 high 0.00% broadcom, fabric_operating_system An authorization and input validation vulnerability exists in Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1. An authenticated user with restricted privileges in one Virtual Fabric can exploit this issue by submitting a specially crafted request containing an arbitrary fabric identifier. This allows the user to perform unauthorized cross-fabric operations and view configuration details within tenants/Virtual Fabrics to which they have not been granted access. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-60107 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in LambertGroup LambertGroup - AllInOne - Banner with Playlist all-in-one-bannerWithPlaylist allows Blind SQL Injection. This issue affects LambertGroup - AllInOne - Banner with Playlist: from n/a through <= 3.8. 11 Oct

CVE-2025-60110 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in LambertGroup AllInOne - Banner Rotator all-in-one-bannerRotator allows SQL Injection. This issue affects AllInOne - Banner Rotator: from n/a through <= 3.8. 11 Oct
CVE-2025-11198 8.5 high 0.00% juniper, security_director_policy_enforcer A Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in Juniper Networks Security Director Policy Enforcer allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to replace legitimate vSRX images with malicious ones. If a trusted user initiates deployment, Security Director Policy Enforcer will deliver the attacker's uploaded image to VMware NSX instead of a legitimate one. This issue affects Security Director Policy Enforcer: * All versions before 23.1R1 Hotpatch v3. This issue does not affect Junos Space Security Director Insights. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-118669 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet OAuthLib is an implementation of the OAuth request-signing logic for Python 3.6+. Prior to 4.0.0, the client_credentials and Resource Owner Password Credentials token grant handlers can authenticate request.client as one confidential client while retaining an attacker-supplied request.client_id for validate_grant_type and validate_scopes. A lower-privilege authenticated client can therefore cause grant and scope authorization to use another client's identity when an application validator relies on the documented client_id argument, potentially issuing tokens with unauthorized grants or scopes. Validators that authorize exclusively from request.client may not be affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-63952 8.4 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memfd: deny writeable mappings when implying SEAL_WRITE When SEAL_EXEC is added, SEAL_WRITE is implied to make W^X. But the implied seal is set after the check that makes sure the memfd can not have any writable mappings. This means one can use SEAL_EXEC to apply SEAL_WRITE while having writeable mappings. This breaks the contract that SEAL_WRITE provides and can be used by an attacker to pass a memfd that appears to be write sealed but can still be modified arbitrarily. Fix this by adding the implied seals before the call for mapping_deny_writable() is done. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-64045 8.4 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: tcp - use cached peer pointer in ovpn_tcp_close() ovpn_tcp_close() loads the ovpn_socket via rcu_dereference_sk_user_data() under rcu_read_lock(), takes a reference on sock->peer, caches the peer pointer in a local, and drops the read lock. It then passes sock->peer (rather than the cached local) to ovpn_peer_del(), re-dereferencing the ovpn_socket after the RCU read section has ended. Unlike ovpn_tcp_sendmsg(), which uses the same "load under RCU, use after unlock" pattern but is protected by lock_sock() held across the function, ovpn_tcp_close() runs without the socket lock: inet_release() invokes sk_prot->close() without taking lock_sock first. ovpn_socket_release() can therefore complete its kref_put -> detach -> synchronize_rcu -> kfree(sock) sequence concurrently, in the window after ovpn_tcp_close() drops rcu_read_lock() but before it dereferences sock->peer. The synchronize_rcu() in ovpn_socket_release() protects readers that use the dereferenced pointer inside the RCU read section, not those that escape the pointer to a local and use it afterwards. A reproducer follows the pattern of commit 94560267d6c4 ("ovpn: tcp - don't deref NULL sk_socket member after tcp_close()"): trigger a peer removal (keepalive expiration or netlink OVPN_CMD_DEL_PEER) at the same moment userspace closes the TCP fd. That commit fixed the detach-side of the same race window; this one fixes the close-side at a different victim. Tighten the entry block to read sock->peer exactly once into the cached peer local, and route all subsequent uses (the hold check, the ovpn_peer_del() call, and the prot->close() invocation) through that local. sock->peer is only ever written once in ovpn_socket_new() under lock_sock(), before rcu_assign_sk_user_data() publishes the ovpn_socket, and is never reassigned afterwards - but the previous multi-read pattern made that invariant implicit rather than explicit. The same multi-read shape exists in ovpn_tcp_recvmsg(), ovpn_tcp_sendmsg(), ovpn_tcp_data_ready() and ovpn_tcp_write_space(); those will be cleaned up via a dedicated helper in a follow-up net-next series. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-98978 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: never expire a locked mount Locked mounts are special. They protect the underlying files and directories from being revealed. do_umount() refuses to unmount locked mounts but shrink_submounts() doesn't. A shrinkable mount can become locked once the owner of a user namespace puts it beneath a locked mount with MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH. The locked property now moves to the mount at the bottom making it possible to unmount the top mount. So umount() of an unlocked ancestor now expires the bottom mount first and the covered directory is revealed: move_mount(c -> x/hidden, MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH) = 0 the cover after the lock moved: umount2(x/hidden) = 0 the holder of the lock: umount2(x/hidden) = EINVAL the root of the copy, busy: umount2(x) = EBUSY reads x/hidden/secret: "covered-by-root" So leave a locked mount alone as it dies together with its parent. A plain umount() of an unlocked mount with a locked one below it is EBUSY from now on. It's the same for any other locked child. A lazy umount still takes the whole tree. mark_mounts_for_expiry() never sees a locked mount. lock_mnt_tree() leaves a mount on an expiry list alone and nothing else puts a locked one on such a list. Add an assert for this. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-18634 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet An insecure handling of serialized objects vulnerability was found in the one of the service of GMS application 9.5.1 (Build 9510.1044) and earlier versions. A local attacker with the ability to interact with the service could exploit this behavior to perform unauthorized actions through the affected component. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-89795 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Allow per function PCI slots to fix slot reset on s390 On s390 systems, which use a machine level hypervisor, PCI devices are always accessed through a form of PCI pass-through which fundamentally operates on a per PCI function granularity. This is also reflected in the s390 PCI hotplug driver which creates hotplug slots for individual PCI functions. Its reset_slot() function, which is a wrapper for zpci_hot_reset_device(), thus also resets individual functions. Currently, the pci_create_slot() assigns the same pci_slot object to multifunction devices. This approach worked fine on s390 systems that only exposed virtual functions as individual PCI domains to the operating system. Since commit 44510d6fa0c0 ("s390/pci: Handling multifunctions") s390 supports exposing the topology of multifunction PCI devices by grouping them in a shared PCI domain. This creates a problem when resetting a function through the hotplug driver's slot_reset() interface. When attempting to reset a function through the hotplug driver, the shared slot assignment causes the wrong function to be reset instead of the intended one. It also leaks memory as we do create a pci_slot object for the function, but don't correctly free it in pci_slot_release(). Add a flag for struct pci_slot to allow per function PCI slots for functions managed through a hypervisor, which exposes individual PCI functions while retaining the topology. Since we can use all 8 bits for slot 'number' (for ARI devices), change slot 'number' u16 to account for special values PCI_SLOT_PLACEHOLDER and PCI_SLOT_ALL_DEVICES. 21 Oct

CVE-2026-78497 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet JQ::Lite versions before 2.51 for Perl execute Perl code embedded in a query's regular expression by compiling it with string eval. The pattern given to test(), match(), or the match and =~ conditions of select() is placed in a `qr'...'` literal and compiled as source text, so a `(?{ ... })` code block in it runs without `use re 'eval'`. Single quotes in the pattern are escaped, but a code block runs in place and needs none. An attacker who supplies a query, or text that an application inserts into the pattern of one, can execute arbitrary Perl code in the calling process. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-91186 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet The PNG chunk reader has no notion of chunk ordering. It records whether an IDAT has been seen and whether a tRNS has already supplied transparency, but nothing prevents an IHDR being read a second time. A PNG carries exactly one IHDR and it is the first chunk. A file that places a second one after IDAT rewrites the image width, height, bit depth and pixel depth *after* the decoded-data buffer has already been allocated and filled from the original values. The pass that reverses the PNG row filters then derives its own extent from the new dimensions and walks the old allocation, moving image bytes past the end of it. The buffer is allocated by GUIX rather than supplied by the caller, so the application has no way to size it defensively. The decoder is compiled in by default. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-64118 8.4 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: qed: fix double free in qed_cxt_tables_alloc() If one of the later PF or VF CID bitmap allocations fails, qed_cid_map_alloc() jumps to cid_map_fail and frees the previously allocated CID bitmaps before returning an error. qed_cxt_tables_alloc() then calls qed_cxt_mngr_free(), which invokes qed_cid_map_free() again. Fix this by setting each CID bitmap pointer to NULL after bitmap_free() to avoid double free. The bug was first flagged by an experimental analysis tool we are developing for kernel memory-management bugs while analyzing v6.13-rc1. The tool is still under development and is not yet publicly available. Manual inspection confirms that the bug is still present in v7.1-rc3. Runtime reproduction was not attempted because exercising the failing allocation path requires device-specific setup. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-64552 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-net: fix len check in receive_big() receive_big() bounds the device-announced length by (big_packets_num_skbfrags + 1) * PAGE_SIZE. That is still too loose: add_recvbuf_big() sets sg[1] to start at offset sizeof(struct padded_vnet_hdr) into the first page, so the chain actually carries hdr_len + (PAGE_SIZE - sizeof(padded_vnet_hdr)) + big_packets_num_skbfrags * PAGE_SIZE bytes -- 20 bytes less than the check allows for the common hdr_len == 12 case. A malicious virtio backend can announce a len in that gap. page_to_skb() then walks one frag past the page chain, storing a NULL page->private into skb_shinfo()->frags[MAX_SKB_FRAGS], which is both an out-of-bounds write past the static frag array and a NULL frag handed up the rx path. Bound len by the size add_recvbuf_big() actually advertised. 19 Oct
