CVE-2026-102663 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OpenList is a file list program that supports multiple storage backends. Prior to 4.2.4, the OpenList search API uses a non-separator-aware strings.HasPrefix comparison as a path containment authorization check when authorizing globally indexed Bleve results against a restricted user's BasePath. When Bleve search is enabled and a restricted authenticated user searches the global index for content in a sibling path, the user causes a globally indexed sibling-path result to pass the prefix check. The strings.HasPrefix(node.Parent, user.BasePath) predicate allows a sibling path such as /base2 to be treated as contained by /base. Unauthorized file metadata or file-existence information can be disclosed, and the backend Total value can reveal a match even when another access check removes the individual result. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.4. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-19730 4.2 medium 0.00% red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 9, red hat ansible automation platform 2 The 'podman quadlet install --replace' command opens the existing destination file with O_CREATE|O_WRONLY but omits O_TRUNC. When the initial reflink copy attempt fails (common on non-reflink-capable filesystems including many RHEL default XFS configurations), the fallback in ReflinkOrCopy uses io.Copy which performs a non-truncating write. If the original Quadlet is larger than the new Quadlet, the file is not truncated and content from the original is preserved. The command completes with no warning. There is no risk of information leakage as the user already had access to the Quadlet in order to replace it, and in most cases, this would only lead to invalid Quadlet files. However, security-related options from the end of the old Quadlet could be included in the new Quadlet, and if the truncation resulted in a valid Quadlet file, this could result in undesirable behavior. For example, running podman quadlet install --replace to remove a single line from the end of a Quadlet - including security-sensitive content, like AddCapability - will fail, and the option will continue to be used. Further, with Volume Quadlets, this can include additional mounts which can cause content to be unintentionally exposed into containers. If, later, the image is updated then compromised content might be leaked to an attacker. The vulnerable code paths are in pkg/domain/infra/abi/quadlet.go (lines 338-360, O_CREATE|O_WRONLY without O_TRUNC) and vendor/go.podman.io/storage/pkg/fileutils/reflink_linux.go (lines 12-19, non-truncating io.Copy fallback). Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-106493 4.1 medium 0.00% linuxfoundation, backstage, backstage\/backend-defaults, backstage\/plugin-catalog-backend-module-aws Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.54.6, cloud storage catalog providers did not sufficiently validate object paths. A principal able to create or rename objects in a configured Azure Blob Storage or AWS S3 catalog source could cause catalog descriptors to be read from outside the intended storage boundary, limited to locations reachable with the backend's configured credentials. This issue is fixed in 1.54.6. 22 Oct
CVE-2025-54855 4.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Cleartext storage of sensitive information was discovered in Click Programming Software version v3.60. The vulnerability can be exploited by a local user with access to the file system, while an administrator session is active, to steal credentials stored in clear text. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-93694 4.0 medium 0.00% no CPE yet In Progress ShareFile Storage Zones Controller v5.12.6 and below, processing of queue items can send acknowledgements to an unvalidated callback URL, this behavior together with a race condition allows the attacker to cause FileCopyService to consume attacker-controlled metadata and content. Exploitation requires control over copy queue work and a race condition. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-87951 3.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet Insecure Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability in Drupal SAML SSO - Service Provider allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects SAML SSO - Service Provider versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.2.0. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-105683 3.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 6.14.0 until 6.27.0, an input validation issue may have allowed staff users to access local files outside the intended data storage directories on the server. This issue is fixed in version 6.27.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2020-29374 3.6 low 0.00% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, 500f_firmware An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.7.3, related to mm/gup.c and mm/huge_memory.c. The get_user_pages (aka gup) implementation, when used for a copy-on-write page, does not properly consider the semantics of read operations and therefore can grant unintended write access, aka CID-17839856fd58. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-55876 3.5 low 0.00% no CPE yet Helium is a free online student planner for classes, homework, grades, and notes. Prior to 2.2.60, the POST /planner/attachments/ endpoint allows authenticated users to upload SVG and HTML attachments because conf/configs/common.py omits those formats from BLOCKED_ATTACHMENT_EXTENSIONS and BLOCKED_ATTACHMENT_MIME_TYPES, and helium/planner/serializers/attachmentserializer.py relies on those blocklists. An uploaded SVG served as image/svg+xml can execute embedded script when a visitor opens its public attachment URL, allowing persistent attacker-controlled active content and phishing under an application-managed storage URL. The attachment storage uses a separate origin from the application, so same-origin policy prevents the script from reading application cookies or storage, and application-session compromise is not supported by the maintained deployment configuration. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.60. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-114236 3.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet storage/pkg/archive.ApplyLayer and ApplyUncompressedLayer may, when processing corrupt or malicious inputs, leak a file descriptor; unbounded repeated calls can exhaust the process’ file descriptor limit Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-113651 3.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system, and uploadfs is its file storage library. Prior to uploadfs 1.28.0, attacker-controlled paths that reach the local backend can contain parent-directory segments that escape the configured upload directory and affect file reads, writes, and deletion on the host filesystem. Exploitability depends on an application exposing the relevant uploadfs operations to untrusted path. This issue is fixed in uploadfs 1.28.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-7954 3.1 low 0.00% google, chrome Race in Shared Storage in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) Mon 26 Oct

CVE-2026-105927 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet The Apache Pulsar WebSocket service allows a WebSocket consumer to configure a dead letter policy through query parameters of the consumer endpoint, including the deadLetterTopic parameter that names the topic to which messages are written after the maximum number of redeliveries is exceeded. When authorization is enabled, the WebSocket service checks only that the connecting user holds the CONSUME permission on the subscribed topic. It does not check whether the user holds the PRODUCE permission on the topic named in deadLetterTopic. The dead letter messages are then written by the WebSocket service using its own broker client identity rather than the identity of the connecting user. As a result, an authenticated user who holds the CONSUME permission on at least one topic can cause messages to be written to a topic of their choosing in any existing namespace, including namespaces belonging to other tenants, provided the role used by the WebSocket service to connect to the brokers is authorized to produce to that topic and the topic accepts a producer that registers no schema. The dead letter producer created by the WebSocket service registers no schema, so it is rejected when the target topic has a schema and schema validation is enforced for that topic or its namespace; this setting is not enabled by default. The same user is refused when attempting to produce to that topic directly. Where automatic topic creation is enabled, which is the default, the named topic is created if it does not already exist. The issue can only be triggered when the WebSocket service is enabled, either in the broker (webSocketServiceEnabled, which is disabled by default) or as a standalone WebSocket proxy. The impact is unauthorized injection of messages into topics the user is not permitted to produce to. The user can determine the content of the injected messages when they also control the messages on the subscribed topic. The issue does not allow reading, modifying or deleting existing messages in the target topic. Injected messages carry the dead letter message properties and a dead letter producer name, so they can be distinguished from messages produced normally; however, the values of these properties are not authenticated and should not be relied upon to establish the origin of a message. Whether an injected message has further consequences depends on how the applications consuming the target topic process it. Repeated injection also consumes storage and backlog capacity in the target namespace. This issue affects Apache Pulsar versions from 2.3.0 before 4.0.14 and from 4.1.0 before 4.2.5. - 4.0.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.0.14. - 4.1.x and 4.2.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.2.5. Users operating versions prior to those listed above should upgrade to the aforementioned patched versions or newer versions. The currently supported Apache Pulsar release lines are 4.0.x and 5.0.x. The supported versions schedule is available at https://pulsar.apache.org/contribute/release-policy/. Users who cannot upgrade immediately and do not require the WebSocket service should disable it. Where the WebSocket service is required, restricting network access to it and limiting the permissions granted to the role the WebSocket service uses to connect to the brokers to the namespaces WebSocket clients are intended to access reduces the exposure. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-119562 2.3 low 0.00% phpmyadmin phpMyAdmin through 5.2.3 contains an sql injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject SQL by supplying unescaped col_extra and col_attribute values to /database/central-columns. Attackers can inject SQL into pma__central_columns INSERT and UPDATE queries run with controluser privileges, reading or modifying other users' configuration-storage data. Fri 30 Oct

The exploitability is reported as difficult. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-26228 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet VideoLAN VLC for Android prior to version 3.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the Remote Access Server routing for the authenticated endpoint GET /download. The file query parameter is concatenated into a filesystem path under the configured download directory without canonicalization or directory containment checks, allowing an authenticated attacker with network reachability to the Remote Access Server to request files outside the intended directory. The impact is bounded by the Android application sandbox and storage restrictions, typically limiting exposure to app-internal and app-specific external storage. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-82153 2.2 low 0.00% no CPE yet Dell OS Recovery Tool, versions prior to 2.4.4, contains an Insecure Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with physical access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information Disclosure. 15 Oct

The manipulation of the argument commit_sha/directories results in argument injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 3.6.25.dev7 can resolve this issue. The patch is identified as 6a9d9918716ce4ee0297b69f3046f7067ef1faae. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53724 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.79 and 9.9.1-alpha.4, the default file upload extension blocklist can be bypassed by appending a trailing dot to a filename whose extension would otherwise be blocked (e.g. poc.svg.). The trailing dot causes the extension parser to extract an empty string, which short-circuits the blocklist check, and the attacker-controlled Content-Type is forwarded to the storage adapter unchanged. Storage adapters that persist and serve the provided Content-Type (such as S3 or GCS) then serve the file with an active type such as image/svg+xml, enabling stored XSS when a victim opens the file URL. The default GridFS adapter is not affected because it sets X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff on responses. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.79 and 9.9.1-alpha.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-16218 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was detected in hunvreus devpush up to 0.4.6. Affected by this issue is the function reset_storage of the file app/workers/tasks/storage.py of the component Storage Reset Failure Handler. The manipulation results in improper check or handling of exceptional conditions. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64823 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Home Assistant Core before 2026.5.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Shelly integration's async_get_media_image() method that allows attackers controlling a Shelly device's thumb field to serve arbitrary HTML content by supplying a data URI with a text/html content type without validation against an image-only allowlist. Attackers can cause the media player proxy endpoint to serve attacker-controlled bytes with Content-Type text/html in the Home Assistant web origin, enabling theft of session tokens from local storage and authenticated calls to sensitive service endpoints including lock, alarm, and cover controls. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-61448 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Parse Server is affected by a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions >= 9.0.0, < 9.10.0-alpha.2 and <= 8.6.83. When an uploaded file's extension is not recognized by the mime package, Parse Server preserves the client-supplied Content-Type. A malformed Content-Type that is not a valid type/subtype media type (e.g., 'image', 'image/', or 'image//svg+xml') bypasses the fileUpload.fileExtensions blocklist and is stored unchanged. On storage adapters that persist and serve the uploaded Content-Type (such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage), a browser cannot parse the malformed value and falls back to MIME-sniffing; a file whose body begins with HTML is rendered as HTML, executing embedded script in the application's origin against other users who open the file URL. The default GridFS storage adapter is not affected. Fixed in 9.10.0-alpha.2 and 8.6.84. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48754 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, `(*backend).createDependentVolumesFromBackup` in `internal/server/storage/backend.go` contains a cluster of unguarded pointer derefs on every dependent-volume entry's `VolumeSnapshots[i]`, `Volume`, and `Pool` sub-fields. An authenticated user with `can_create_instances` permission on any project can crash the `incusd` daemon by uploading an instance backup tarball whose `dependent_volumes[*]` block contains a nil snapshot pointer (or omits `volume:` / `pool:`). This is a sibling-field variant of the 2026-05-04 batch fix `d768f81c0a1d985f35ae56219519822b080bf5e3` ("Properly check dependent volumes on import"). That commit added `if disk == nil` at the top of the outer loop, but did not guard the four sub-pointer fields the loop body dereferences naked. Version 7.1.0 contains an updated patch. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48756 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, `(*backend).CreateCustomVolumeFromBackup` in `internal/server/storage/backend.go` contains an unguarded `*time.Time` dereference on the `ExpiresAt` field of every volume-snapshot entry in an imported custom-volume backup. An authenticated user with `can_create_storage_volumes` permission on any project can crash the `incusd` daemon by uploading a backup tarball whose `volume_snapshots[*].expires_at` field is absent. This is a sibling-field variant of GHSA-r7w7-mmxr-47r9 (CVE-2026-40197). Commit `985a1dedf9f3e7ba729c93b654905ed510de25c2` added `if s == nil` at the top of the loop body, but did not guard the adjacent `*snapshot.ExpiresAt` deref 19 lines later. Every other consumer of `Config.VolumeSnapshots[i].ExpiresAt` in this same file already gates the deref with a nil-check — the asymmetric guard is the bug. Version 7.1.0 contains an updated patch. 15 Oct

The firmware versions determined to be affected are Furbo 360 up to FB0035_FW_036 and Furbo Mini up to MC0020_FW_074. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-107049 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet An issue in Forkyz versionCode 8500000 allows attackers to arbitrarily change another user's storage settings via supplying a crafted URI string. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-111879 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet DBI versions before 1.656 for Perl hang on a later open of a DBD::DBM table because a failed open_data does not release the table's lock. open_data creates the table's lock file and takes an exclusive flock on it for a CREATE, before the checks that can croak: a dbm_mldbm value that is not a module name, a failing tie, or a missing data file. The croak unwinds before the table object is blessed, so nothing releases the lock, and the meta data holding the open descriptor stays cached on the database handle. The dbm_mldbm and dbm_type values come from the DSN or the connect attributes, so a caller that chooses the serializer or the storage backend can trigger the failure. The flock has no timeout, so a later open of that table (even through a separate database handle) blocks for as long as the handle holding the stale lock lives, in the same process or any other. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-99201 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netlink: avoid hashing the network namespace pointer The netlink rhashtable key includes a raw struct net pointer and a user-controlled port ID. Both /proc/net/netlink and socket diagnostics expose the table's bucket order. By binding and rebinding chosen NETLINK_USERSOCK port IDs, an unprivileged reader can distinguish equal buckets and recover the low bits of the Jenkins hash. Its 32-bit seed and the limited set of kernel-image slides can then be searched offline to recover the address of init_net. Use the namespace's unique, non-address net_cookie in the comparison key instead. It is assigned before the per-net initializers run and remains unchanged for the namespace's lifetime. The lookup key and object hash are still built by netlink_compare_arg_init(), keeping lookup, insertion, removal and rehashing consistent while preserving namespace separation. Neither public table walker needs to change. Reading the socket's namespace cookie in netlink_compare() is safe under RCU, including during namespace teardown. netlink_release() removes the socket from the hash table and defers its final put with call_rcu(). cleanup_net() runs the per-net exit methods and waits for outstanding RCU callbacks with rcu_barrier() before freeing namespace storage. Unlike ns.ns_id, net_cookie is also available and initialized during setup_net() in older stable kernels, making the change straightforward to backport to v5.15 and later. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-98819 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: validate DDC record lengths Parse DDC record lengths in unsigned storage so 0xFF does not wrap. Reject records smaller than the mandatory three-byte header, records exceeding U8_MAX, and records exceeding remaining firmware bytes before issuing Intel_Write_DDC. This issue was reported by Claude Mythos. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-98771 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: storage: sierra_ms: reject short SWoC info transfers sierra_get_swoc_info() requests sizeof(struct swoc_info) (60) bytes from the device via usb_control_msg(), but its callers only treat a negative return value as failure. A device that answers the vendor-specific GetSwocInfo request with a short IN transfer is therefore accepted, leaving the tail of the freshly allocated (kmalloc(), non-zeroing) swoc_info buffer uninitialized. truinst_show() subsequently prints swocInfo->rev, swocInfo->LinuxSKU and swocInfo->LinuxVer from that buffer into the world-readable (0444) "truinst" sysfs attribute. An emulated/malicious USB device (VID 0x1199, PID 0x0fff) can exploit this to disclose up to 5 bytes of stale kernel heap memory (kmalloc-64) to unprivileged userspace, once per sysfs read, indefinitely. On kernels built without init_on_alloc this leaks recently freed heap contents. Only accept the transfer when the full structure was received. sierra_ms_init() already retries failed queries, so well-behaved devices are unaffected. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-98704 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: keep fallback association elements alive Associating to a non-transmitted MBSSID profile reads freed memory while determining the operating channel and applying HT capabilities. When an association response omits WMM, HT, or VHT information, ieee80211_assoc_config_link() parses the cached BSS IEs and copies the missing element pointers out of that fallback parse. For a non-transmitted MBSSID profile those pointers refer to merged-profile storage owned by the parse object, and the fallback block frees that object at its end. The copied pointers are used afterwards to determine the operating channel, configure bandwidth, and apply HT capabilities. Keep the fallback parse result alive until association setup finishes. [reorder variable declaration] Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-93208 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kasan: fix cache shrink race with CPU hotplug kasan_quarantine_remove_cache() first invokes per_cpu_remove_cache() on all online CPUs. Each callback moves objects belonging to the cache from cpu_quarantine to the CPU's shrink_qlist, where they can later be freed from task context. kmem_cache_destroy() invokes the quarantine removal path while holding cpus_read_lock(), but kmem_cache_shrink() does not. The latter can therefore race with CPU offlining as follows: kmem_cache_shrink() CPU hotplug ------------------- ----------- on_each_cpu() CPU1 moves objects to CPU1's shrink_qlist on_each_cpu() returns CPU1 goes offline kasan_cpu_offline() drains cpu_quarantine leaves shrink_qlist untouched for_each_online_cpu() skips CPU1 The objects left on CPU1's shrink_qlist are not returned to the slab allocator. This may prevent kmem_cache_shrink() from releasing slabs that would otherwise become empty. If CPU1 remains offline, a later kmem_cache_destroy() also skips the list and can report that the cache still contains objects. An intermittent occurrence was observed with a virtio-9p filesystem. The mount and umount commands both returned 0, but the kernel logged the following during the userspace-triggered teardown: [ 2994.380134][ T111] BUG 9p-fcall-cache-1 (Tainted: G B ): Objects remaining on __kmem_cache_shutdown() [ 2994.381140][ T111] Object 0xff11000004361118 @offset=4376 [ 2994.381607][ T111] Allocated in p9_fcall_init+0x201/0x400 age=19564 cpu=1 pid=104 [ 2994.382591][ T111] p9_fcall_init+0x201/0x400 [ 2994.382810][ T111] p9_tag_alloc+0x12f/0x700 [ 2994.382982][ T111] p9_client_prepare_req+0x102/0x3e0 [ 2994.383165][ T111] p9_client_rpc+0x1ab/0xa50 [ 2994.383334][ T111] p9_client_getattr_dotl+0xb0/0x1a0 [ 2994.383515][ T111] v9fs_vfs_getattr_dotl+0x115/0x360 [ 2994.383719][ T111] vfs_getattr_nosec+0x22c/0x3a0 [ 2994.383910][ T111] vfs_statx+0xd7/0x170 [ 2994.384062][ T111] vfs_fstatat+0x45/0x80 [ 2994.384215][ T111] __do_sys_newfstatat+0x84/0xe0 [ 2994.384386][ T111] do_syscall_64+0x115/0x6a0 [ 2994.384566][ T111] entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f [ 2994.399720][ T111] WARNING: mm/slub.c:1244 at __kmem_cache_shutdown+0x363/0x500, CPU#0: busybox/111 [ 2994.405655][ T111] Call Trace: [ 2994.406325][ T111] kmem_cache_destroy+0x73/0x1b0 [ 2994.406630][ T111] p9_client_destroy+0x271/0x3c0 [ 2994.407210][ T111] v9fs_session_close+0x3c/0x260 [ 2994.407409][ T111] v9fs_kill_super+0x48/0x90 [ 2994.407584][ T111] deactivate_locked_super+0xa3/0x160 [ 2994.407778][ T111] cleanup_mnt+0x1dd/0x3e0 Thus, a successful umount left objects in the 9p fcall cache and prevented the cache from being destroyed cleanly. Per-CPU shrink_qlist storage exists for every possible CPU, and each list is protected by its own raw spinlock. Iterate over possible CPUs so that a list populated before its CPU went offline is drained as well. for_each_possible_cpu() can do more work than for_each_online_cpu(), but this change only affects CONFIG_KASAN_GENERIC kernels. The extra work is limited to cache shrink and cache destruction paths and does not affect the normal allocation/free fast path. It adds one raw-spinlock-protected scan of each possible CPU's shrink list. These lists are normally empty; a non-empty list is traversed to remove objects belonging to the cache being shrunk or destroyed. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-92491 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Roll back partial protocol table registration scmi_protocol_table_register() can leave earlier requests registered when a later entry in the same ID table fails. Each request retains a pointer to the driver's ID table, so a failed module load can leave a dangling pointer after the module storage is released. Unrequest only the successfully registered prefix, in reverse order, before returning the failure. Leave the failed entry and the remaining entries untouched because matching requests can be owned by another driver. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-92490 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: arm_scmi: Unrequest devices if driver registration fails scmi_driver_register() requests protocol devices before registering the driver. If driver_register() fails, those requests remain in the global IDR and retain pointers to the module's ID table. Once the failed module load releases that storage, later request matching or SCMI device creation can dereference the stale pointers. Unrequest the complete protocol table before returning the registration failure. At this point table registration succeeded, so every entry is owned by the current registration attempt. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-90313 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, cgroup: Fix invalid storage access after __cgroup_bpf_attach failed A potential invalid storage access issue can occur after replacing a cgroup bpf prog. This occurs in the following scenario: 1. prog1 with storage is attached to a cgroup in multi-attach mode. 2. prog1 is replaced with prog2 using BPF_F_REPLACE in multi-attach mode, but fails midway (e.g. in bpf_trampoline_link_cgroup_shim or update_effective_progs). 3. A new prog3 is attached to the cgroup in multi-attach mode. The reason is that __cgroup_bpf_attach overwrites pl->storage with the new storage prior to attachment completion. When attachment fails midway, the cleanup path calls bpf_cgroup_storages_free(new_storage) to free the newly allocated storage, but fails to restore pl->storage back to old_storage. Consequently, the still-active prog1 holds invalid or dangling storage pointers, leading to an invalid memory access when prog1 executes and calls bpf_get_local_storage. Additionally, original pl->flags and cgrp->bpf.flags[atype] are left unrestored. Fix this by saving old_pl_flags, old_storage, and old_flags prior to the update, and properly restoring all of them in the cleanup path on error. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-90250 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, cgroup: Fix storage null-ptr-deref after replacing prog Syzkaller reported a storage null-ptr-deref issue after replacing prog. This occurs in the following scenario: 1. prog A, an empty prog, is attached to a cgrp. 2. prog B uses BPF_MAP_TYPE_PERCPU_CGROUP_STORAGE and calls the bpf_get_local_storage helper. 3. link_update is called to replace prog A with prog B. The reason is that __cgroup_bpf_replace fails to alloc and assign the required cgrp storage for the incoming replacement prog. Consequently, the new prog inherits an uninit storage, leading to null-ptr-deref panic when kick the new prog. Fix this by rejecting a link update if new_prog's cgroup storage is incompatible with link->prog. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-90029 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: storage: realtek_cr: fix use-after-free on disconnect realtek_cr_destructor() calls timer_delete() before the chip containing the timer is freed. The timer callback may still be running and can rearm itself, resulting in a use-after-free. Use timer_shutdown_sync() to wait for the callback and prevent further rearming. Do this unconditionally because ss_en may be changed after the timer is armed. Move timer_setup() into init_realtek_cr() so the timer is initialized before any failure path can invoke the destructor. Found by static analysis. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-90023 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_mass_storage: fix null pointer dereference in fsg_common_set_num_buffers() Previously fsg_num_buffers_validate() was removed as it was not necessary due to Kconfig setting the limits for n from 2 to 256 with default as 2. However, setting the page content in such a way that kstrtou8() reflects n value as either 0 or 1 bypasses these restrictions leading to a null pointer dereference if n is 0. Fix this by adding a check for n < 2 and returning -EINVAL if n is either 0 or 1 consistent with Kconfig logic. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-89834 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to migrate all curseg types during free_segment_range In free_segment_range(), the curseg evacuation loop only iterates up to NR_CURSEG_PERSIST_TYPE (0..5), missing non-persistent in-memory curseg types such as CURSEG_COLD_DATA_PINNED and CURSEG_ALL_DATA_ATGC. Even though these in-memory curseg types are not saved in the on-disk checkpoint header, they still occupy active physical segments at runtime. If an active in-memory curseg happens to be allocated within the segment range being truncated during filesystem shrink, failing to evacuate it will cause subsequent writes to the curseg attempting out-of-bounds I/O on the truncated storage range. Fix this by expanding the curseg evacuation loop upper bound to NR_CURSEG_TYPE to ensure all active curseg types are safely migrated out of the target range. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-89539 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: SUNRPC: reject duplicate CREDS_VALUE options gssx_dec_option_array() walks the wire-supplied option array and, for every entry whose name matches CREDS_VALUE, calls gssx_dec_linux_creds() on the same struct svc_cred. That helper unconditionally installs a fresh groups_alloc() result into creds->cr_group_info without releasing whatever pointer was already there: for (i = 0; i < count; i++) { ... decode name ... if (length == sizeof(CREDS_VALUE) && memcmp(p, CREDS_VALUE, sizeof(CREDS_VALUE)) == 0) { err = gssx_dec_linux_creds(xdr, creds); ... } } A reply that carries two CREDS_VALUE entries therefore overwrites cr_group_info on the second iteration and orphans the group_info allocated by the first call. The earlier free_creds path only releases the last cr_group_info via free_svc_cred(), so the first allocation's refcount stays at one and its kvmalloc-backed storage is leaked. No in-tree caller of gssp_accept_sec_context_upcall() expects more than one CREDS_VALUE per reply. Fix by tracking whether a CREDS_VALUE option has already been decoded and returning -EINVAL on any subsequent match, so the free_creds path releases the single group_info that was installed. CVE-2026-80841 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/packet: defer vmalloc TX_RING free until skbs finish AF_PACKET TX_RING skbs keep a raw pointer to their ring frame. The skb page references preserve page-backed ring blocks after pg_vec is freed, but they do not preserve a vmalloc mapping. tpacket_destruct_skb() currently drops the pending reference before writing the timestamp and TP_STATUS_AVAILABLE to the frame. Move the decrement after those stores. The smp_wmb() in __packet_set_status() orders the frame stores before the decrement. Also recheck pending TX frames under pg_vec_lock before non-closing ring replacement, so a racing send cannot add a pending skb between the initial check and the ring swap. Ring allocation can produce a mixture of page-backed and vmalloc-backed blocks. Allocate deferred-work storage during TX ring setup when the first vmalloc-backed block is encountered, and keep its pointer in the pg_vec allocation header. If allocation fails, return -ENOMEM from ring setup. On socket close, a non-NULL pointer identifies a vmalloc-backed vector without a scan. If TX skbs remain, defer the whole vector to system_long_wq. After pg_vec is detached, a late destructor can skip the pending decrement. Use socket write-memory accounting as the deferred lifetime gate instead: an skb remains charged through its final sock_wfree(), after all ring-frame accesses. The delayed work retains a socket reference and reschedules itself until no TX skbs remain. Move pending_refcnt release to packet_sock_destruct() so late skb destructors and deferred cleanup can safely use it after packet_release(). Page-backed teardown remains synchronous, and no lock is added to the TX completion hot path. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-80761 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: ISO: zero the sockaddr before returning it in getname iso_sock_getname() fills a struct sockaddr_iso in place and returns its size without clearing it first, so bytes it does not write are copied to user space from the kernel stack. The getsockname(2) and getpeername(2) paths both run through do_getsockname(), which hands getname() an uninitialized sockaddr_storage on the stack and copies back up to the number of bytes getname() returns, so the driver has to initialize every byte it accounts for. Two ranges are left uninitialized: - struct sockaddr_iso is 10 bytes but only 9 are written (family, iso_bdaddr, iso_bdaddr_type), leaking the trailing pad byte on every call. - for a broadcast peer (BIS_LINK or PA_LINK) the returned length grows by sizeof(struct sockaddr_iso_bc), but only bc_sid, bc_num_bis and bc_bis are filled; bc_bdaddr and bc_bdaddr_type, the first 7 bytes of that structure, are never written. An unprivileged process can open a BTPROTO_ISO socket and reach the pad leak with getsockname(); the broadcast leak needs an established BIS/PA connection. l2cap and rfcomm already memset their sockaddr in getname for the same reason; do the same here. CVE-2025-39989 unscored 0.00% linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mce: use is_copy_from_user() to determine copy-from-user context Patch series "mm/hwpoison: Fix regressions in memory failure handling", v4. ## 1. What am I trying to do: This patchset resolves two critical regressions related to memory failure handling that have appeared in the upstream kernel since version 5.17, as compared to 5.10 LTS. - copyin case: poison found in user page while kernel copying from user space - instr case: poison found while instruction fetching in user space ## 2. What is the expected outcome and why - For copyin case: Kernel can recover from poison found where kernel is doing get_user() or copy_from_user() if those places get an error return and the kernel return -EFAULT to the process instead of crashing. More specifily, MCE handler checks the fixup handler type to decide whether an in kernel #MC can be recovered. When EX_TYPE_UACCESS is found, the PC jumps to recovery code specified in _ASM_EXTABLE_FAULT() and return a -EFAULT to user space. - For instr case: If a poison found while instruction fetching in user space, full recovery is possible. User process takes #PF, Linux allocates a new page and fills by reading from storage. ## 3. What actually happens and why - For copyin case: kernel panic since v5.17 Commit 4c132d1d844a ("x86/futex: Remove .fixup usage") introduced a new extable fixup type, EX_TYPE_EFAULT_REG, and later patches updated the extable fixup type for copy-from-user operations, changing it from EX_TYPE_UACCESS to EX_TYPE_EFAULT_REG. It breaks previous EX_TYPE_UACCESS handling when posion found in get_user() or copy_from_user(). - For instr case: user process is killed by a SIGBUS signal due to #CMCI and #MCE race When an uncorrected memory error is consumed there is a race between the CMCI from the memory controller reporting an uncorrected error with a UCNA signature, and the core reporting and SRAR signature machine check when the data is about to be consumed. ### Background: why *UN*corrected errors tied to *C*MCI in Intel platform [1] Prior to Icelake memory controllers reported patrol scrub events that detected a previously unseen uncorrected error in memory by signaling a broadcast machine check with an SRAO (Software Recoverable Action Optional) signature in the machine check bank. This was overkill because it's not an urgent problem that no core is on the verge of consuming that bad data. It's also found that multi SRAO UCE may cause nested MCE interrupts and finally become an IERR. Hence, Intel downgrades the machine check bank signature of patrol scrub from SRAO to UCNA (Uncorrected, No Action required), and signal changed to #CMCI. Just to add to the confusion, Linux does take an action (in uc_decode_notifier()) to try to offline the page despite the UC*NA* signature name. ### Background: why #CMCI and #MCE race when poison is consuming in Intel platform [1] Having decided that CMCI/UCNA is the best action for patrol scrub errors, the memory controller uses it for reads too. But the memory controller is executing asynchronously from the core, and can't tell the difference between a "real" read and a speculative read. So it will do CMCI/UCNA if an error is found in any read. Thus: 1) Core is clever and thinks address A is needed soon, issues a speculative read. 2) Core finds it is going to use address A soon after sending the read request 3) The CMCI from the memory controller is in a race with MCE from the core that will soon try to retire the load from address A. Quite often (because speculation has got better) the CMCI from the memory controller is delivered before the core is committed to the instruction reading address A, so the interrupt is taken, and Linux offlines the page (marking it as poison). ## Why user process is killed for instr case Commit 046545a661af ("mm/hwpoison: fix error page recovered but reported "not ---truncated--- Fri 30 Oct
