| CVE-2026-113708 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 2.7.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, Kustomize passes ref or version query values from remote resource, base, or component URLs to git fetch without an end-of-options separator. A leading-hyphen value can be parsed as --upload-pack and execute a command inside argocd-repo-server when the remote uses a local transport such as file://. Git does not run the supplied command for an https:// remote. The local transport does not leave the pod, so blocking repo-server egress does not prevent the execution. The command runs as the repo-server user, can read repository credentials and other process-accessible data, and can return output through manifest-generation errors. An attacker can commit a Kustomization to a Git repository that an Application builds or upload files through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. Kustomize 5.0.0 introduced acceptance of file://, whereas 4.5.7 rejects that transport; replacing the affected Kustomize with a newer version alone does not correct the missing option separator. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108390 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Hestia Control Panel is a lightweight and powerful control panel for the modern web. From version 1.9.7 through 1.10.4, update_object_value() in func/main.sh does not escape single quotes when writing a custom document-root value to a user's web.conf file, allowing a low-privileged authenticated panel user with a web domain to inject an additional PATH field. When the user invokes the ordinary Search feature, the root-privileged v-search-user-object script loads the forged field through parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), which permits reserved shell-variable names and globally replaces PATH before invoking column without an absolute path. By placing a malicious column executable in the injected search path, the user can execute arbitrary code as root. This residual vulnerability was introduced when version 1.9.7 replaced the raw eval sink addressed by CVE-2026-84984 with parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), and it is fixed in version 1.10.5. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48750 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, the `record-output` parameter of the `/instances/$name/exec` endpoint stores the output of the command in the `exec-output` directory of the instance. If `exec-output` is a symlink, file named `exec_UUID.stdout` and `exec_UUID.stderr` can be written to an arbitrary location where the `.stdout` file will contain arbitrary content. This behavior can be abused for arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 contains a patch. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48755 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.1.0, improper validation of user-provided backup compression algorithm leads to argument injection in the constructed command line. This leads to an arbitrary file write on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.1.0 patches the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48769 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, an arbitrary file write exists in the Incus client when a malicious image server returns a crafted `Incus-Image-Hash` header. This can lead to arbitrary command execution as root on the server. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63125 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, an unprivileged, project-confined Incus user (a non-admin TLS/RBAC identity with `can_create_images` and `can_create_instances`) can execute arbitrary code as root on the host. A crafted image ships `backup.yaml` as a symlink to a host file. When the root daemon writes the instance's backup file, it follows the symlink. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-30996 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability in Themify Themify Sidepane WordPress Theme, Themify Themify Newsy, Themify Themify Folo, Themify Themify Edmin, Themify Bloggie, Themify Photobox, Themify Wigi, Themify Rezo, Themify Slide allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects Themify Sidepane WordPress Theme: from n/a through 1.9.8; Themify Newsy: from n/a through 1.9.9; Themify Folo: from n/a through 1.9.6; Themify Edmin: from n/a through 2.0.0; Bloggie: from n/a through 2.0.8; Photobox: from n/a through 2.0.1; Wigi: from n/a through 2.0.1; Rezo: from n/a through 1.9.7; Slide: from n/a through 1.7.5. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106042 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | An External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in Ivanti Xtraction before version 2026.4 allows a remote authenticated attacker to redirect application-generated requests to an attacker-controlled endpoint and obtain EPMM connector credentials transmitted by the application. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-67164 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | pagekit | An authenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the /storage/poc.php component of Pagekit CMS v1.0.18 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via uploading a crafted PHP file. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62283 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool. Nezha versions 1.14.13 through 1.14.14 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.9 do not bind stream identifiers created by CreateStream in service/rpc/io_stream.go to their creating user, and `GET /ws/terminal/:id` and `GET /ws/file/:id` only check whether the supplied UUID exists. An authenticated RoleMember who obtains a live stream UUID from logs, browser history, referer data, or telemetry can attach to another user's terminal or file-manager session, read and write target-server files, and execute shell commands. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.10. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59090 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | gimp, redhat, enterprise_linux | A flaw was found in GIMP's PSD file format plugin. This vulnerability, an unsigned integer underflow in the `block_rem` variable, occurs when a user opens a specially crafted `.psd` image file. The underflow leads to parser confusion, enabling an attacker to inject arbitrary data as layer resource blocks. This can ultimately result in arbitrary code execution, allowing the attacker to run malicious code on the victim's system. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2025-11539 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Grafana Image Renderer is vulnerable to remote code execution due to an arbitrary file write vulnerability. This is due to the fact that the /render/csv endpoint lacked validation of the filePath parameter that allowed an attacker to save a shared object to an arbitrary location that is then loaded by the Chromium process. Instances are vulnerable if: 1. The default token ("authToken") is not changed, or is known to the attacker. 2. The attacker can reach the image renderer endpoint. This issue affects grafana-image-renderer: from 1.0.0 through 4.0.16. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118235 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | wpazleen, simpleform – form maker to chat apps with quiz, poll and multi lead notifications | The SimpleForm – Form Maker to Chat Apps with Quiz, Poll and Multi Lead Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.2 via the handle_upload function. This is due to missing server-side file key allowlist and pre-sanitization extension derivation that allows a trailing-dot filename to bypass all extension and MIME validation in handle_upload. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The only access control is a nonce that is printed into every public form's data-nonce attribute, making it trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor on a page embedding the form shortcode. | Sat 31 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72472 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfs: use nfsi->rwsem to protect traversal of the file lock list Lingfeng identified a bug and suggested two solutions, but both appear to have issues. Generally, we cannot release flc_lock while iterating over the file lock list to avoid use-after-free (UAF) problems with file locks. However, functions like nfs_delegation_claim_locks and nfs4_reclaim_locks cannot adhere to this rule because recover_lock or nfs4_lock_delegation_recall may take a long time. To resolve this, NFS switches to using nfsi->rwsem for the same protection, and nfs_reclaim_locks follows this approach. Although nfs_delegation_claim_locks uses so_delegreturn_mutex instead, this is inadequate since a single inode can have multiple nfs4_state instances. Therefore, the fix is to also use nfsi->rwsem in this case. Furthermore, after commit c69899a17ca4 ("NFSv4: Update of VFS byte range lock must be atomic with the stateid update"), the functions nfs4_locku_done and nfs4_lock_done also break this rule because they call locks_lock_inode_wait without holding nfsi->rwsem. Simply adding this protection could cause many deadlocks, so instead, the call to locks_lock_inode_wait is moved into _nfs4_proc_setlk. Regarding the bug fixed by commit c69899a17ca4 ("NFSv4: Update of VFS byte range lock must be atomic with the stateid update"), it has been resolved after commit 0460253913e5 ("NFSv4: nfs4_do_open() is incorrectly triggering state recovery") because all slots are drained before calling nfs4_do_reclaim, which prevents concurrent stateid changes along this path. Also, nfs_delegation_claim_locks does not cause this concurrency either since when _nfs4_proc_setlk is called with NFS_DELEGATED_STATE, no RPC is sent, so nfs4_lock_done is not called. Therefore, nfs4_lock_delegation_recall from nfs_delegation_claim_locks is the first time the stateid is set. | Fri 30 Oct |
| CVE-2023-0758 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | jfinaloa_project, jfinaloa | A vulnerability was found in glorylion JFinalOA 1.0.2 and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file src/main/java/com/pointlion/mvc/common/model/SysOrg.java. The manipulation of the argument id leads to sql injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-220469 was assigned to this vulnerability. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109218 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Contact Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 9.1.2 via the add_message function. This is due to an incomplete extension blacklist that fails to detect dangerous extensions when a trailing dot causes the extension-derivation routine to return an empty string, which sanitize_file_name() then silently removes before the file is written to disk. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Successful code execution additionally requires the server to use Apache with libapache2-mod-php (which maps .phar to PHP by default) and the attacker to retrieve the uploaded file within the brief window before it is removed by unlink() at end of request. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2024-51311 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Tenda TX9 V22.03.02.05 firmware has a stack overflow vulnerability in the sub_4418CC function of the file /goform/SetNetControlList. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2024-51313 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Tenda TX9 V22.03.02.20 firmware has a stack overflow vulnerability in the sub_42EA38 function of the file /goform/SetVirtualServerCfg. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2024-51312 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Tenda TX9 V22.03.02.20 firmware has a stack overflow vulnerability in the sub_42EEE0 function of the file /goform/SetStaticRouteCfg. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2024-51314 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Tenda TX9 V22.03.02.20 firmware has a stack overflow vulnerability in the sub_424CE0 function of the file /goform/setMacFilterCfg. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2024-51315 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Tenda TX9 V22.03.02.20 firmware has a stack overflow vulnerability in the sub_425964 function of the file /goform/SetOnlineDevName | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2024-11080 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Post Grid and Gutenberg Blocks – ComboBlocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Hook Injection in versions 2.2.32 to 2.3.1 via several functions in the ~/includes/blocks/form-wrap/function.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute actions with hooks in WordPress, granted no other security controls are present in the function. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66302 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | microsoft, skype for business server 2015 cu13, skype for business server 2019 cu8, skype for business server subscription edition cu1 | External control of file name or path in Skype for Business allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40288 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | praison, praisonai, praisonaiagents | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. In versions below 4.5.139 of PraisonAI and 1.5.140 of praisonaiagents, the workflow engine is vulnerable to arbitrary command and code execution through untrusted YAML files. When praisonai workflow run <file.yaml> loads a YAML file with type: job, the JobWorkflowExecutor in job_workflow.py processes steps that support run: (shell commands via subprocess.run()), script: (inline Python via exec()), and python: (arbitrary Python script execution)—all without any validation, sandboxing, or user confirmation. The affected code paths include action_run() in workflow.py and _exec_shell(), _exec_inline_python(), and _exec_python_script() in job_workflow.py. An attacker who can supply or influence a workflow YAML file (particularly in CI pipelines, shared repositories, or multi-tenant deployment environments) can achieve full arbitrary command execution on the host system, compromising the machine and any accessible data or credentials. This issue has been fixed in versions 4.5.139 of PraisonAI and 1.5.140 of praisonaiagents. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6057 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | FalkorDB Browser 1.9.3 contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in the file upload API that allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files and achieve remote code execution. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-105723 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | microsoft, windows_10_1607, windows_10_1809, windows_10_21h2 | Untrusted pointer dereference in Windows Distributed File System (DFS) allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-8507 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Crypt::OpenSSL::PKCS12 versions through 1.94 for Perl have out-of-bounds (OOB) write flaws. When parsing a PKCS12 file, with a >= 1 GiB OCTET STRING (or BIT STRING) attribute on a SAFEBAG, via info() or info_as_hash(), a heap out-of-bounds write would be triggered with remote-code-execution potential (RCE) due to a signed integer overflow in the size calculation passed to Renew(). | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44887 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Pi.Alert is a WIFI / LAN intruder detector with web service monitoring. Prior to 2026-05-07, Pi.Alert's web-based configuration editor allows arbitrary Python code to be injected into pialert.conf. Since the background scan daemon loads this file via Python's exec(), injected code executes as the daemon process. With web protection disabled (the default configuration), no authentication is required, making this an unauthenticated Remote Code Execution vulnerability. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026-05-07. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9182 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | esri, arcgis_server | Esri ArcGIS Server contains an unrestricted file upload vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this issue by uploading a crafted file to the affected endpoint. Successful exploitation could allow arbitrary file upload, potentially allowing for other attacks. This issue impacts all versions of ArcGIS Server on Windows and Linux 12.0 and prior. This issue does not impact ArcGIS Enterprise for Kubernetes. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-24014 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | apache, iotdb | Apache IoTDB DataNode’s internal RPC interface for creating Trigger instances uses the uploaded Trigger JAR name to build a file path without sufficient validation. If the internal DataNode RPC port is exposed to an untrusted network, an attacker may use path traversal sequences in the JAR name to write files outside the intended Trigger installation directory. This could allow arbitrary file write with the permissions of the IoTDB process. This issue affects Apache IoTDB: from 1.3.3 before 2.0.8. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.8, which fixes the issue. | 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15043 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | DBI::SQL::Nano versions from 1.42 before 1.651 for Perl have inverted <= and >= SQL operators on text. DBI::SQL::Nano, DBI's built-in mini-SQL engine, evaluated WHERE predicates incorrectly in some cases. In the non-numeric string branch of the is_matched method, <= was evaluated using Perl's ge operator, and >= was evaluated using Perl's le operator. SQL::Nano is the fallback query engine for DBI's file-backed drivers (DBD::File, DBD::DBM, CSV-style drivers) whenever SQL::Statement is not installed, and is forced whenever DBI_SQL_NANO=1. Queries over such tables use these predicates directly. The impact depends on the context. Where an application relies on a WHERE clause to filter file-backed data for policy or authorization, an inverted <=/>= comparison silently returns the wrong rows. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44180 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | jupyter, enterprise_gateway | Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. Versions 2.0.0rc1 and above prior to 3.3.0 have a prohibited UID and GID feature that by default prevents launching kernels with UID or GID 0 (root), and this restriction can be bypassed using a specially crafted KERNEL_UID or KERNEL_GID value. This input validation vulnerability allows running Jupyter kernels as root, which can be dangerous as it allows more attack surface, and may lead to container escapes, compromising the worker node and all workloads running on it. Repeated exploitation can compromise all worker nodes, and thus the entire Kubernetes cluster. It is possible to specify volume mounts, so one vector for a container escape is to use a hostPath R/W volume mount, use this UID/GID bypass to run as root, and then gain code execution in the underlying worker node by creating a crontab entry in the mounted host file system. This issue has been fixed in version 3.0.0. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47391 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 4.6.40, PraisonAI's first-party A2A server example exposes an unauthenticated A2A JSON-RPC endpoint and registers a `calculate(expression)` tool implemented with Python `eval()`. The example also binds to `0.0.0.0`. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send `message/send` to `/a2a`; the request reaches `agent.chat()`, and a real LLM can invoke the registered `calculate` tool. In testing with `gemini/gemini-2.5-flash-lite`, this resulted in arbitrary Python execution in the server process, confirmed by creation of a marker file from an unauthenticated HTTP request. The issue affects deployments following the official A2A example or similar unauthenticated public A2A deployments with unsafe tools. The default unauthenticated A2A surface also exposes task history and task cancellation APIs, increasing confidentiality and integrity impact. Version 4.6.40 patches the issue. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59144 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Data::RingBuffer::Shared versions before 0.04 for Perl allow a stack buffer overflow via an unvalidated elem_size in ring_read_seq. The attach-time validator ring_validate_header checks the capacity-overflow and total_size consistency of the header but never caps elem_size against the destination size. ring_read_seq does memcpy(out, ring_slot(h, seq), elem_size) with elem_size read raw from the mmap'd segment, copying into a fixed 8-byte destination scalar. An elem_size larger than 8 bytes writes past the destination. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while setting a large elem_size, so the next read copies a file-controlled length into the fixed 8-byte stack buffer, corrupting adjacent stack frames. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59147 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Data::DisjointSet::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads and writes via an unvalidated parent index in dsu_find. The attach-time validator dsu_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. dsu_find walks and path-compresses parent[x] with x a raw file-stored index never bounded against the node count, so both the read and the compression write-back land out of bounds. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the parent array, so the next find or union both reads and writes through an out-of-bounds parent index, corrupting memory or crashing the process. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49827 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | WebErpMesv2 is a Resource Management and Manufacturing execution system Web for industry. Versions 1.19 and prior allow any self-registered user to upload arbitrary PHP files through the HR Expense scan_file parameter, leading to Remote Code Execution. Combined with open registration (no invite required) and broken role middleware (CheckUserRole silently swallows RouteNotFoundException), this chain is effectively unauthenticated RCE against any default installation. The issue is patched in commit 5c54862fa044b363fd2be03d586750e81afd6818. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66902 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Google::Auth versions before 0.06 for Perl run a command named in an external_account credentials JSON via an ungated system call. The Pluggable subclass reads credential_source.executable.command from the credentials JSON and runs it as `system($command)`, a single argument call that passes the whole string to /bin/sh -c. The executable's environment_variables map from the same JSON is copied into %ENV first. No opt-in gate guards the call. make_creds selects the Pluggable subclass whenever credential_source.executable is present, so the path is reached from the standard Application Default Credentials flow, including a "type": "external_account" configuration read from the file named by GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS. Configurations without credential_source.executable do not select this subclass and do not reach the call. Any caller that builds credentials from a configuration it does not fully control runs the embedded command with the privileges of the application process. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67688 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | ICS-Park Smart Park Management System v2.0 contains an unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the file upload module. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72567 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | An improper path validation vulnerability in AsyncFuncAI/deepwiki-open through commit 16f35a0 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to write to or delete arbitrary files with root privileges. The api/api.py wiki-cache endpoint constructs file paths from user-controlled owner, repo, and repo_type fields without sanitization, enabling path traversal. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72592 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | An unrestricted file upload vulnerability in dulldusk/phpfm through 1.8.0 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. The application ships with an empty upload extension filter ( = array) and no authentication enabled by default (auth_pass is empty string), allowing an unauthenticated attacker to upload a PHP webshell and execute it by browsing to the uploaded path. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72593 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | A missing authentication vulnerability in dulldusk/phpfm through 1.8.0 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access the full file manager functionality including reading, writing, deleting, and uploading files anywhere on the server filesystem. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71254 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | nanoMODBUS through v1.23.0 contains an out-of-bounds write in the Modbus server-side handle_read_file_record function (FC 0x14, Read File Record) in nanomodbus.c. The function validates that the total request size does not exceed 245 bytes and that each sub-request's record_length is at most 124, but it never validates the CUMULATIVE response size across all sub-requests before processing them. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71267 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | microtar's mtar_write_file_header and mtar_write_dir_header functions (src/microtar.c) copy a caller-supplied entry name into the 100-byte field of a stack-allocated mtar_header_t via strcpy(h.name, name), with no check that strlen(name) is less than 100 before the copy. | 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98959 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix xattr replace when multiple xattrs are packed in the same item If we have a btrfs_dir_item item that packs multiple xattrs and then we replace the value of one of them (with the setxattr(2) family of syscalls) with another value of a different size, we end up not having a fully initialized btrfs_dir_item, resulting in a corruption that the tree checker will detect at extent buffer writeback time. This is because in btrfs_setxattr() when we find a btrfs_dir_item with multiple xattrs (due to the crc32c hash of their name being the same) we delete one of the xattr items (btrfs_dir_item) and then insert a new one, but the deletion and insertion results in shifting existing data in the leaf and therefore when the new value of a xattr has a different size, the new btrfs_dir_item is placed in a leaf section that was not initialized and we only copy the value's data and set the value's length in the new btrfs_dir_item, without setting the name, the name's length, the key (which must be all zeroes for xattrs), flags (BTRFS_FT_XATTR) and transaction ID. The following script reproduces the issue: $ cat test.sh #!/bin/bash DEV=/dev/sdi MNT=/mnt/sdi mkfs.btrfs -f $DEV mount $DEV $MNT touch $MNT/testfile # Add two xattrs that, on btrfs, have the same hash (crc32c) for their # name and therefore are packed into the same btrfs_dir_item. setfattr -n user.foobar -v 123 $MNT/testfile setfattr -n user.WvG1c1Td -v qwerty $MNT/testfile # Verify the xattrs are present. echo "xattrs before:" getfattr --absolute-names --dump $MNT/testfile # Now replace the value of the foobar xattr with a significantly larger # value. setfattr -n user.foobar -v abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz $MNT/testfile # Check the xattrs have the expected values. echo "xattrs after:" getfattr --absolute-names --dump $MNT/testfile umount $MNT Running it: $ ./test.sh (...) xattrs before: # file: /mnt/sdi/testfile user.WvG1c1Td="qwerty" user.foobar="123" xattrs after: # file: /mnt/sdi/testfile user.WvG1c1Td="qwerty" So the "user.foobar" xattr is missing and there was a transaction abort when unmounting the fs with the following traces in dmesg: $ dmesg [869800.159271] BTRFS warning (device sdi): access to eb bytenr 30474240 len 16384 out of range start 16015 len 25964 [869800.159293] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [869800.159296] WARNING: fs/btrfs/extent_io.c:4408 at report_eb_range+0x44/0x60 [btrfs], CPU#8: getfattr/2605179 [869800.168961] Modules linked in: btrfs dm_thin_pool (...) HUMANIST Digital Human Resources allows Upload a Web Shell to a Web Server. This issue affects HUMANIST Digital Human Resources: from 26.0 before 26.1. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-109219 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The Mang Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in version 2.4.4 via the mbw_file_upload function. This is due to missing file extension validation on the attacker-supplied image_path parameter, whose basename-derived file name bypasses the extension allowlist applied only to the separate file_name parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Exploitation requires the board to be configured to allow guest posts, which is the plugin's default mode; the required nonce is printed on every public board page, making it readable by any unauthenticated visitor without a WordPress login. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16770 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | PDF::WebKit versions through 1.2 for Perl allow argument injection into wkhtmltopdf via meta tags in the source document. For an HTML string or file source, the constructor collects every <meta name="pdf-webkit-KEY" content="VALUE"> element in the document head through _pdf_webkit_meta_tags and turns each one into a wkhtmltopdf command line option. KEY is normalized to an option name matching --[a-z0-9-]+ but is not checked against an allow list, VALUE is passed through unchanged as the argument that follows it, and a VALUE of "yes" emits the option as a bare flag. BUILD merges the meta derived options last, so they also override the module defaults and the options passed to new. Switches such as --enable-local-file-access and --cookie-jar are reachable this way. The renderer is executed with an argument list rather than a shell command, so this is argument injection and not shell injection. Any caller that renders untrusted HTML lets the document choose the renderer's options and override those set by the application, including options that read local files into the resulting PDF or write to a chosen path. A URL source is not scanned, and the scan is skipped when XML::LibXML, a recommended dependency, is not installed. | 23 Oct |
