CVE-2026-71319 9.6 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 3.3.1, Nuxt DevTools (development mode only) exposes a bidirectional RPC channel over the Vite HMR WebSocket via the nuxt:devtools:rpc plugin. On affected versions the channel has no authentication: any client that can reach the Vite HMR endpoint (ws://<host>:<port>/, subprotocol vite-hmr) can call RPC methods, with no token, handshake, or origin check before the channel is established. The updateOptions(), clearOptions(), and openInEditor() methods do not enforce the ensureDevAuthToken check that the other mutating methods use. openInEditor() reads the persisted behavior.openInEditor value and passes it to the launch-editor package, which spawns it as a child process. That value is settable through the equally unauthenticated updateOptions(). An attacker who can reach the HMR port can therefore chain updateOptions('behavior', { openInEditor: '<command>' }) then openInEditor('<any-existing-file>') to execute an arbitrary program on the developer's machine. This issue is fixed in 3.3.1. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59158 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet Nuxt Ollama integrates the official Ollama JavaScript library into Nuxt applications. Prior to 1.3.1, `src/module.ts` unconditionally merges all module options, including a configured cloud `api_key`, into `runtimeConfig.public.ollama`. Nuxt serializes this public configuration into the server-rendered HTML `window.__NUXT__` payload, exposing the API key in plaintext to any unauthenticated client that fetches a page. `src/runtime/composables/useOllama.ts` also reads the public key and sends it as an `Authorization` `Bearer` credential in browser-side Ollama requests. Following the documented cloud configuration is sufficient; the visible application template need not make an Ollama request for the secret to leak. A stolen key permits unauthorized cloud API requests at the operator's expense, quota or rate-limit exhaustion, and access to stored models or conversations if the key grants those permissions. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.1. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-41248 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Clerk JavaScript is the official JavaScript repository for Clerk authentication. createRouteMatcher in @clerk/nextjs, @clerk/nuxt, and @clerk/astro can be bypassed by certain crafted requests, allowing them to skip middleware gating and reach downstream handlers. This vulnerability is fixed in @clerk/astro 1.5.7, 2.17.10, and 3.0.15; @clerk/nextjs 5.7.6, 6.39.2, and 7.2.1; @clerk/nuxt 1.13.28 and 2.2.2; and @clerk/shared 2.22.1, 3.47.4, anc 4.8.1 Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42349 7.6 high 0.00% clerk, clerk\/astro, clerk\/backend, clerk\/chrome-extension Clerk JavaScript is the official JavaScript repository for Clerk authentication. has(), auth.protect(), and related authorization predicates in @clerk/shared, @clerk/nextjs, @clerk/backend, and other framework SDKs can return true for certain combined authorization checks when the result should be false, allowing a gated action to proceed for a user who does not satisfy the full set of requested conditions. This call shape can be bypassed if certain conditions are met: a has() or auth.protect() call that combines a reverification check with any of role, permission, feature, or plan, or that combines a billing check (feature or plan) with a role or permission check. This vulnerability is fixed in @clerk/clerk-js 5.125.10 and 6.7.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-102527 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt OG Image generates OG Images with Vue templates in Nuxt. From 6.2.5 until 6.7.0, the dynamic /_og/d/*.png route accepts unsigned requests while resolvePathCacheKey() produces cache keys from the request path, site URL, and normalized rendering options exposed through image URLs and server responses. An unauthenticated attacker can provide attacker-controlled image data through the title parameter together with a derived cacheKey and populate the cache slot used for a legitimate Open Graph image, causing spoofed image content to be served to users. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-119200 6.5 medium — nuxt, @nuxt, nitro-server Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, Nuxt resolves literal or percent-encoded dot segments before rendering a page while Nitro routing, server/middleware checks, and server route rules evaluate the unresolved path. A request such as /%2e/admin can therefore render app/pages/admin.vue and its server-rendered data while checks keyed to /admin, redirects, or per-route security headers do not apply. API handlers, appMiddleware, Nuxt 3, and Nuxt 4.0.0 through 4.5.x are not affected, and exploitation requires a client that sends dot segments without browser normalization. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-114131 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.11.0 until 3.21.4 and 4.4.4, Nuxt compares route-rule keys with the raw request path while route resolution decodes dynamic and catch-all parameters, allowing a percent-encoded segment to resolve to a protected page without matching the routeRules entry intended for that path. As a result, appMiddleware can be skipped during server rendering and an unauthenticated requester can receive the gated page and its SSR data. The same mismatch affects app-manifest rules including redirect, appLayout, ssr, prerender, and payload flags derived from cache, isr, and swr. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.4.4 and 3.21.4. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-114132 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 4.6.2, Nuxt resolves pages case-insensitively by default while Nitro matches server-side route-rule keys case-sensitively, allowing a request whose path differs only by letter case to render without the server rule intended for that page. The mismatch can skip redirect, headers, proxy, ssr: false, and noScripts, and can cause getRouteRules(event) and matchRouteRules to return no rule for the case variant. Applications that set router.options.sensitive: true in nuxt.config are not affected; setting sensitive only in app/router.options.ts does not establish this exclusion because the server follows the nuxt.config value. Access checks implemented in server middleware, page route middleware, or page data fetching remain independent of this matcher. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.2. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-39315 6.1 medium 0.00% unjs, unhead Unhead is a document head and template manager. Prior to 2.1.13, useHeadSafe() is the composable that Nuxt's own documentation explicitly recommends for rendering user-supplied content in <head> safely. Internally, the hasDangerousProtocol() function in packages/unhead/src/plugins/safe.ts decodes HTML entities before checking for blocked URI schemes (javascript:, data:, vbscript:). The decoder uses two regular expressions with fixed-width digit caps. The HTML5 specification imposes no limit on leading zeros in numeric character references. When a padded entity exceeds the regex digit cap, the decoder silently skips it. The undecoded string is then passed to startsWith('javascript:'), which does not match. makeTagSafe() writes the raw value directly into SSR HTML output. The browser's HTML parser decodes the padded entity natively and constructs the blocked URI. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.13. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-119199 5.9 medium — nuxt Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.0.0 until 4.6.3, the Nuxt development server can expose the Nitro 2 development bundle at <buildDir>/dev/index.mjs through Vite file serving when the server is reachable over HTTP. Nitro inlines private runtimeConfig values resolved at build time into that bundle, including secrets configured in nuxt.config, and Nuxt 4.6.0 and later also inline the generated development appSecret. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, production builds and Nitro 3 are not affected, and runtime configuration supplied only through NUXT_* environment variables at server startup is not inlined. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-119198 5.9 medium — nuxt Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, a client with TCP access to an exposed Nuxt development server can send a nuxt:dev:client-error event over the HMR socket with an absolute file path at the end of its message. The development server reads that file while building the client error report and returns its contents through the error overlay, development error channel, and terminal report, bypassing Vite's server.fs allow list. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, cross-origin browser requests are rejected, production builds and Nuxt 3 are not affected, and no browser interaction is required. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-114133 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 3.13.0 until 4.6.2, the server-island renderer serializes raw useHeadSafe entry input into the island response without preserving the safe-input marker, and NuxtIsland later inserts that input into the page head as an ordinary entry. An application that passes attacker-controlled data to useHeadSafe in a .server.vue component or page, or in a component rendered through NuxtIsland, can therefore render values normally removed by the allowlist, including event-handler attributes or executable script content, resulting in stored cross-site scripting in the application origin. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.2 . Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-56326 5.3 medium 0.00% nuxt Nuxt versions 4.0.0 before 4.4.7 and 3.x before 3.21.7 contain a server-side open redirect vulnerability in navigateTo that fails to properly validate path-normalized payloads like /..//evil.com and /.//evil.com. Attackers can bypass external-host checks using path-normalization techniques to redirect users to attacker-controlled sites via the Location header or meta-refresh, enabling phishing and OAuth authorization-code theft. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-119201 4.8 medium — nuxt Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, nuxt dev stores a generated appSecret in <buildDir>/app-secret, by default .nuxt/app-secret, within a directory allowed by Vite's server.fs configuration. A client with direct HTTP access to an exposed development server can fetch the file, use deriveSecret() to compute derived secrets such as the default useSession password, and forge session cookies accepted by that development server. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, cross-origin browser reads are blocked, production builds and development servers with an explicitly configured appSecret are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. 5 h ago
CVE-2026-44589 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt OG Image generates OG Images with Vue templates in Nuxt. The isBlockedUrl() denylist introduced in [email protected] to remediate GHSA-pqhr-mp3f-hrpp (Dmitry Prokhorov / Positive Technologies, March 2026) is incomplete. It has an incomplete IPv6 prefix list and is missing redirect re-validation. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.4.9. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-114130 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 4.6.0, an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-53722 allows an application with pages disabled to render a script-capable URL through NuxtLink when attacker-controlled input bound to to is prefixed with an ASCII C0 control character. The no-pages router classifies the value as an internal route before the earlier protocol check and passes it to the rendered anchor href; browsers remove the leading control character and interpret the remaining javascript: URL. The default anchor and NuxtLink custom output are affected, the unsafe href is present in server-rendered HTML, and a victim must click the link for script to execute in the application's origin. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.0. Wed 28 Oct
