| CVE-2026-111497KEVexploit ×68news ×13 | 9.2 critical | 88.0% | google, nodejs, brotli, node.js, brotlicffi | A buffer overflow vulnerability in the Brotli decoder (c/dec/decode.c) in Google Brotli versions 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 on all platforms allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to corrupt adjacent decoder state memory, disclose sensitive memory contents, cause a denial of service, or potentially execute arbitrary code using a crafted Brotli-compressed stream. Users need to update any Brotli libraries or binaries between 1.0.3 through 1.2.0 to the latest available version: 1.0.10 or 1.1.1 or 1.2.1. | 10 h ago |
| CVE-2025-11001exploit ×7 | 7.8 high | 27.0% | 7-zip | 7-Zip ZIP File Parsing Directory Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of 7-Zip. Interaction with this product is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the handling of symbolic links in ZIP files. Crafted data in a ZIP file can cause the process to traverse to unintended directories. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of a service account. Was ZDI-CAN-26753. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55780exploit | 2.4 low | 1.0% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's .NET single-file bundle handler in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.DotNetSingleFile.cpp sizes its extraction buffer from the bundle entry Size field, which is only checked for sign and is not validated against the real file size. A crafted bundle can cause an attacker-chosen allocation inside Extract, where std::bad_alloc or std::length_error can escape across the COM STDMETHODCALLTYPE boundary and crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55781exploit | 2.4 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's UFS and FFS image handler in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.Ufs.cpp validates the superblock block size only against the MINBSIZE lower bound and does not validate the fs_fsize fragment size, allowing attacker-controlled 32-bit fields to flow into indirect-block, directory, and extraction buffer allocations. A tiny crafted UFS image can force multi-gigabyte allocations during open or extraction, causing memory exhaustion or process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104025 | 8.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Path Traversal (CWE-22) in the execute_obj function of the archive object viewer (peach.pas) in PeaZip 11.2.0 and earlier on Windows allows an attacker who convinces a victim to preview an entry of a crafted archive via the "Preview with... -> Associated application" action (Shift+Ctrl+O) to execute an arbitrary program already present on the victim's system, with no warning dialog. The function validates only outname (PeaZip's own temporary directory) with checkfiledirname, while the string actually executed is the concatenation outname+tempstring; tempstring is taken verbatim from the archive entry name (StringGridList.Cells[12,...]) and is never validated. checkfiledirname (list_utils.pas) rejects control and reserved characters in the file name but performs no ".." path-containment check, so an entry named ../../../../Windows/System32/calc.exe escapes the extraction directory and is passed to cp_open -> ShellExecuteW; the extracting backend (7-Zip) strips the traversal while the opener does not. In addition, the SECEXTCONST dangerous-extension confirmation prompt is implemented only in the double-click handler (grid_obj_open) and not on this preview route, so an executable inside an archive reaches ShellExecuteW unannounced, and where the prompt does fire it names the entry's display name rather than the resolved path that will run. Arbitrary code execution was demonstrated with a proof of concept against official PeaZip builds, confirmed on two archive formats (.zip and .tar) to show the defect is in PeaZip's own path handling and not in a single format parser. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54616 | 7.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 1.0.88.0 until stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0, the Lz4Decode function in NanaZip.Core/SevenZip/CPP/7zip/Archive/SquashfsHandler.cpp rejects only a zero return from LZ4_decompress_safe even though malformed input produces a negative error value. The negative int is converted to the unsigned SizeT destLen and then truncated into outBufWasWrittenSize, causing ReadBlock to trust an attacker-inflated _cachedUnpackBlockSize. During fragment extraction, an attacker-controlled inode Offset can make memcpy read beyond the _cachedBlock heap allocation and place adjacent heap contents in the extracted file, or crash the process. This issue is fixed in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-104086 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | 7-Zip before 26.03 contains an uninitialized memory disclosure vulnerability in the SquashFS v4 archive handler (SquashfsHandler.cpp) that allows attackers to leak heap memory by crafting a malicious archive where the superblock’s no_ids field is set so that the final metadata block’s expected size is miscomputed and bypasses the size validation check. By listing or extracting the crafted archive, attackers can cause the application to return uninitialized heap memory as the kpidUserId and kpidGroupId properties, exposing potentially sensitive process memory contents to the user. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47222 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 3.0.1000.0 to before version 6.0.1698.0, a heap out-of-bounds read exists in the Android Verified Boot (AVB) vbmeta image parser in NanaZip (via the upstream 7-Zip AvbHandler). An unsigned integer underflow in a bounds check allows an attacker-controlled value_num_bytes field to pass validation, causing AddNameToString to read up to ~4 GiB past the end of a 64 KiB heap buffer. This causes a deterministic crash (denial of service) when opening a crafted .avb or .img file. This issue has been patched in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47223 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 3.0.1000.0 to before version 6.0.1698.0, a heap out-of-bounds read exists in the Android Verified Boot (AVB) vbmeta image parser in NanaZip (via the upstream 7-Zip AvbHandler). A 32-bit unsigned integer overflow in the bounds check pos + ht.salt_len > descSize allows an attacker-controlled salt_len field to bypass validation, causing CByteBuffer::CopyFrom to memcpy up to ~4 GiB past the end of a 64. This issue has been patched in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47224 | 4.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 3.0.1000.0 to before version 6.0.1698.0, a heap buffer-overflow read exists in the LVM2 physical-volume metadata parser in NanaZip (via the upstream 7-Zip LvmHandler). The vulnerability is triggered when opening a crafted LVM disk image. This issue has been patched in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-14966 | 3.1 low | 0.00% | blacklanternsecurity, bbot | BBOT's unarchive module rejects archives containing symlink entries before extraction, but for zip and 7z archives it failed to detect symlinks whose listing carries a DOS-attribute prefix before the unix mode, as produced by legacy versions of p7zip. Such an archive, downloaded and extracted during a scan (for example via filedownload), bypassed the guard and caused an attacker-controlled symlink to be written into the extraction directory. The effect is limited to planting the symlink (its target is not written through), and only hosts using such a legacy p7zip build are affected; current mainline 7-Zip is not. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55782 | 2.4 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's WebAssembly archive handler in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.WebAssembly.cpp allocates buffers from attacker-controlled 32-bit section and custom-name length fields without validating them against the data present in the file. A tiny crafted module can force multi-gigabyte allocations during listing or extraction through NameSize, Information.Size, and std::string or vector allocation paths, causing memory exhaustion or process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55783 | 2.4 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's seven in-house IInArchive handlers in NanaZip.Codecs unconditionally dereference the caller-supplied Indices array inside Extract when the archive engine signals extract everything by passing Indices as NULL and NumItems as 0xFFFFFFFF. This causes a NULL pointer dereference in the standard Test archive or Extract all code path for WebAssembly, ElectronAsar, Zealfs, Romfs, Ufs, Littlefs, and DotNetSingleFile archives, resulting in a process crash. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
