| CVE-2026-49090 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, elasticsearch | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user can submit a specially crafted bulk request that causes sustained high CPU consumption, which can render the affected node unable to process requests. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56145 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, elasticsearch | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A low-privileged authenticated user with permission to execute EQL sequence queries against an index they control can send a specially crafted query that triggers excessive memory consumption, causing the Elasticsearch node to crash. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63136 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, elasticsearch | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A user with search privileges can submit a specially crafted search request that causes a data node to exhaust available heap memory, resulting in node unavailability and cluster degradation. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to cause cluster downtime requiring manual intervention to restore service. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63139 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated low-privileged user can exploit an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Kibana's Canvas functionality by sending a specially crafted request, causing the Kibana server process to terminate and resulting in a denial of service for all users of the affected Kibana instance. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63260 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated attacker with low-privilege access can trigger a denial of service condition in Kibana by sending a specially crafted, oversized request payload. Processing this user-supplied input requires resource-intensive memory allocation that can exhaust the available heap memory in the Kibana process, causing it to crash and become unavailable to all users. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63261 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A low-privileged authenticated user can send a specially crafted request to a Kibana machine learning feature, causing the server to exhaust available memory and become unavailable to all users. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63263 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, elasticsearch | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Exponential Data Expansion (CAPEC-197). An authenticated user may submit a specially crafted query to the ES|QL engine that causes exponential CPU consumption during query evaluation. Because the resource exhaustion persists beyond query completion, repeated requests can fully exhaust the available query worker resources, rendering ES|QL queries unavailable until the node is restarted. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33464 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to a denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user holding a low-privileged role can submit a specially crafted, oversized payload to an internal Kibana API, causing the Kibana process to exhaust available resources and become unresponsive to all users until the service recovers or is restarted. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42399 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated low-privileged user can cause Kibana to consume exponentially increasing amounts of memory by submitting a specially crafted Timelion visualization expression containing deeply chained function calls. The resulting data structure grows without bound, exhausting available memory and causing the Kibana service to crash and become unavailable to all users. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42400 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, kibana | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). An authenticated user can send a specially crafted compressed request payload that is processed prior to authorization checks, causing excessive memory and CPU resource consumption that can result in a Kibana instance becoming unresponsive or crashing. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102404 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | elastic, elasticsearch | Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A low-privileged authenticated user can submit a specially crafted query that causes uncontrolled memory growth in the query processing engine, resulting in an out-of-memory condition that terminates the Elasticsearch node. The condition can be triggered repeatedly, including by queries embedded in shared resources, causing persistent cluster unavailability. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107581 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.5 processes several IMAP commands from a signed-in account in time quadratic in the command's length or in the number of elements it names, and can be made to hold memory out of proportion to a command. The FETCH data-item parser normalised a BODY[] section with a case-insensitive string replacement that copied the whole item per occurrence and split the item list by repeatedly copying the remainder of the command; the server's case-insensitive search compared a needle afresh at every position, so a long SEARCH TEXT key over a message cost the product of the two lengths; SEARCH message sets and the saved-result marker ($), SORT criteria, HEADER.FIELDS name lists and UID ranges were each read once per message rather than once per command; and a FETCH naming a message's sections very many times read and held every section in memory before sending any. An IMAP command may continue past one line through non-synchronizing literals, so one command can reach about eleven megabytes. The IMAP worker threads are a small pool shared with SMTP and POP3, so a signed-in user sending such commands can make the IMAP, SMTP and POP3 services stop responding (CWE-407) and can consume excessive memory (CWE-400). | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6844 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | gnu, redhat, binutils, hardened_images, openshift_container_platform | A flaw was found in the `readelf` utility of the binutils package. A local attacker could exploit two Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerabilities by providing a specially crafted Executable and Linkable Format (ELF) file. One vulnerability, a resource exhaustion (CWE-400), can lead to an out-of-memory condition. The other, a null pointer dereference (CWE-476), can cause a segmentation fault. Both issues can result in the `readelf` utility becoming unresponsive or crashing, leading to a denial of service. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-2405 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | schneider-electric, powerchute_serial_shutdown | CWE-400 Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability exists that could cause excessive troubleshooting zip file creation and denial of service when a Web Admin user floods the system with POST /helpabout requests. | Mon 26 Oct |
