CVE-2026-33929 4.3 medium 1.0% apache, pdfbox Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache PDFBox Examples. This issue affects the ExtractEmbeddedFiles example in Apache PDFBox: from 2.0.24 through 2.0.36, from 3.0.0 through 3.0.7. Users are recommended to update to version 2.0.37 or 3.0.8 once available. Until then, they should apply the fix provided in GitHub PR 427. The ExtractEmbeddedFiles example contained a path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) mentioned in CVE-2026-23907. However the change in the releases 2.0.36 and 3.0.7 is flawed because it doesn't consider the file path separator. Because of that, a user having writing rights on /home/ABC could be victim to a malicious PDF resulting in a write attempt to any path starting with /home/ABC, e.g. "/home/ABCDEF". Users who have copied this example into their production code should apply the mentioned change. The example has been changed accordingly and is available in the project repository. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-16783 7.8 high 0.00% autodesk, 3ds_max A maliciously crafted ABC file, when parsed through Autodesk 3ds Max, can force an Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause a crash, cause data corruption, or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. 12 Oct

After calling bpf_exec_tx_verdict(), the size of msg_pl->sg may increase, e.g., when the BPF program executes bpf_msg_push_data(). If the BPF program sets cork_bytes and sg.size is smaller than cork_bytes, it will return -ENOSPC and attempt to roll back to the non-zero copy logic. However, during rollback, msg->msg_iter is reset, but since msg_pl->sg.size has been increased, subsequent executions will exceed the actual size of msg_iter. ''' iov_iter_revert(&msg->msg_iter, msg_pl->sg.size - orig_size); ''' The changes in this commit are based on the following considerations: 1. When cork_bytes is set, rolling back to non-zero copy logic is pointless and can directly go to zero-copy logic. 2. We can not calculate the correct number of bytes to revert msg_iter. Assume the original data is "abcdefgh" (8 bytes), and after 3 pushes by the BPF program, it becomes 11-byte data: "abc?de?fgh?". Then, we set cork_bytes to 6, which means the first 6 bytes have been processed, and the remaining 5 bytes "?fgh?" will be cached until the length meets the cork_bytes requirement. However, some data in "?fgh?" is not within 'sg->msg_iter' (but in msg_pl instead), especially the data "?" we pushed. So it doesn't seem as simple as just reverting through an offset of msg_iter. 3. For non-TLS sockets in tcp_bpf_sendmsg, when a "cork" situation occurs, the user-space send() doesn't return an error, and the returned length is the same as the input length parameter, even if some data is cached. Additionally, I saw that the current non-zero-copy logic for handling corking is written as: ''' line 1177 else if (ret != -EAGAIN) { if (ret == -ENOSPC) ret = 0; goto send_end; ''' So it's ok to just return 'copied' without error when a "cork" situation occurs. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-62353 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet TDengine is a time-series database optimized for Internet of Things devices. Prior to 3.4.1.14, source/libs/parser/src/parTokenizer.c tGetToken() incremented past a trailing backslash in a SQL string literal such as 'abc\ and read one byte beyond the null terminator, allowing an authenticated user who can submit SQL queries to crash the server and possibly leak adjacent memory. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.1.14. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-108577 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was determined in Konstanty Bialkowski libmodplug up to 0.8.9.1. This issue affects the function abc_add_gchord of the file src/load_abc.cpp of the component ABC Music Format Parser. This manipulation causes resource consumption. The attack may be initiated remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-114525 unscored 0.00% drupal, abc Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ("Cross-site Scripting") vulnerability in Drupal ABC allows Stored XSS. This issue affects ABC versions: from 0.0.0 to 1.25.0, from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-116266 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet MIME::Head versions from 5.518 before 5.521 for Perl decode a partly encoded multipart boundary without flagging the parse as ambiguous. The multipart_boundary() method decodes RFC 2047 encoded words anywhere in the boundary, but the ambiguity check only fires when the whole value is one encoded word. A boundary such as abc=?us-ascii?Q?def?= is used as abcdef, and ambiguous_content() returns false. Encoded words are not allowed in parameters, so other mail readers split the message on the literal value. A remote sender can hide an attachment from a filter that relies on ambiguous_content() while the recipient's mail client shows it. Wed 28 Oct
