CVE-2025-34076exploit 6.1 medium 2.0% microweber An authenticated local file inclusion vulnerability exists in Microweber CMS versions <= 1.2.11 through misuse of the backup management API. Authenticated users can abuse the /api/BackupV2/upload and /api/BackupV2/download endpoints to read arbitrary files from the underlying filesystem. By specifying an absolute file path in the src parameter of the upload request, the server may relocate or delete the target file depending on the web service user’s privileges. The corresponding download endpoint can then be used to retrieve the file contents, effectively enabling local file disclosure. This behavior stems from insufficient validation of user-supplied paths and inadequate restrictions on file access and backup logic. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-55450exploit ×2 9.3 critical 1.0% langflow Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to 1.9.1, unauthenticated users can upload any amount of data to the server without any limitations. No need for any prior knowledge, only network access to Langflow. This can lead to space exhaustion on the server. In addition, in the response, the absolute path of the uploaded file is reported to the attacker, which is an information leak that can assist in chaining other primitives. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-64824exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Home Assistant Core before 2026.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the backup-restore function that allows attackers to write files to arbitrary absolute filesystem paths by supplying a crafted tar archive with a SYMTYPE entry containing a benign member name paired with an absolute linkname pointing outside the extraction directory. Because the official Docker image runs the Home Assistant process as root and the subsequent regular-file entry is written through the unvalidated symlink, attackers can achieve remote code execution by overwriting auto-imported Python paths such as site-packages/sitecustomize.py or custom component directories. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-112900exploit ×3 9.2 critical 1.0% python, pillow Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 2.6.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow is vulnerable to argument injection when invoking Ghostscript for EPS input. EpsImagePlugin.Ghostscript passes a caller-controlled input filename after -f without converting it to a safe absolute path, so a name beginning with a hyphen can be interpreted as a Ghostscript option. An attacker who controls the filename can inject Ghostscript arguments. Arbitrary command execution specifically requires a leading @ argument-file filename and control of the referenced text file containing additional Ghostscript arguments; the reported chain reproduces with the default -dSAFER invocation. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-43637exploit 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Cornac before 2.6.0 contains a path traversal (Tar Slip) vulnerability that allows attackers to write arbitrary files outside the intended cache directory by supplying a crafted TAR archive containing ../ sequences, absolute paths, or symlink/hardlink entries to the _extract_archive() function in cornac/utils/download.py. Attackers can trigger this vulnerability through the built-in dataset loaders, which automatically download and extract archives, causing archive.extractall() to write files to arbitrary locations on the filesystem accessible to the running process. CVE-2026-79985exploit 7.4 high 1.0% no CPE yet Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel SMB component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.2.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Camel remote-file consumers poll a directory on a remote server and build the absolute remote path of each file by concatenating the configured directory with the file name reported in the server's directory listing. That concatenation (FtpUtils.absoluteFilePath and GenericFileConsumer) applied no lexical normalization and no check that the result stayed inside the directory being polled, and the resulting path became the operand for every subsequent remote operation on the file: retrieval (FtpOperations.retrieveFile / SftpOperations, reached from GenericFileConsumer where the retrieve name is taken verbatim from GenericFile.getAbsoluteFilePath), deletion when delete=true (GenericFileDeleteProcessStrategy), and renaming when move, preMove, moveFailed or readLock=rename is configured (GenericFileProcessStrategySupport and GenericFileRenameExclusiveReadLockStrategy). Neither isValidFile nor isMatched performed any containment check. A listing entry that is not a single path segment therefore resolved to a path outside the configured polling directory, causing Camel to read, delete or rename files outside it using the endpoint's own credentials. A listing name is not route-controlled data. It is supplied by the remote server, and the FTP control channel carries no integrity protection at all, so an on-path attacker can rewrite a LIST response without holding any credentials; a compromised, malicious or multi-tenant server, or a server backed by a virtual filesystem, can emit such a name directly. Retrieval is reachable in a default consumer configuration, since the remote consumers download every listed file; deletion and renaming additionally require one of the disposition options above, all of which are common. Escape from the directory Camel was configured to poll is unconditional, while escape from the server's own account boundary additionally depends on whether that server confines the account. The jailStartingDirectory option, which is documented as restricting Camel to the starting directory and is enabled by default, governed producer writes and, since the localWorkDirectory containment work, consumer downloads to the local work directory - but it did not constrain this remote operand, so its name and description claimed a boundary that was not enforced here. The same entry point had already been recognised on the local side: the localWorkDirectory download path was constrained so that a remote file name containing parent-directory segments could not resolve outside the local work directory. The remote operand was the remaining half of that surface. This artifact provides the smb scheme. Its consumer walks the share listing on its own rather than through RemoteFileConsumer, skipping only the exact "." and ".." entries, so a name carrying traversal segments in any other form was concatenated unchecked. Reaching it requires a server that emits a listing name which is not a single path segment, which a conforming SMB2 implementation does not do; the exposure was corrected on the same basis as the other remote-file consumers rather than from a demonstrated proof of concept against this scheme. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.22.x releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. The 4.14.x stream reached end of life and does not receive this fix; users on it should move to a supported releases stream. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-79984exploit 7.4 high 1.0% no CPE yet Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Mina SFTP component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.18.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. The Camel remote-file consumers poll a directory on a remote server and build the absolute remote path of each file by concatenating the configured directory with the file name reported in the server's directory listing. The same entry point had already been recognised on the local side: the localWorkDirectory download path was constrained so that a remote file name containing parent-directory segments could not resolve outside the local work directory. The remote operand was the remaining half of that surface. This artifact provides the mina-sftp scheme, an alternative SFTP implementation whose consumer derives from the same RemoteFileConsumer base class and therefore inherited the same unconstrained resolution. 20 Oct

CVE-2026-79986exploit 7.4 high 1.0% no CPE yet Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Azure Files component. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1. This artifact provides the azure-files scheme. Its consumer derives from the same RemoteFileConsumer base class and composed the remote path through a plain concatenation helper, so it inherited the same unconstrained resolution. Reaching it requires a listing name that is not a single path segment, which the Azure Files REST service does not normally return; the exposure was corrected on the same basis as the other remote-file consumers rather than from a demonstrated proof of concept against this scheme. Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.22.x releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. CVE-2026-47630exploit 5.5 medium 0.00% nvidia, triton_inference_server NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an absolute path traversal. A successful exploit might lead to code execution. 22 Oct
CVE-2025-12137exploit 4.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Import WP – Export and Import CSV and XML files to WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 2.14.16. This is due to the plugin's REST API endpoint accepting arbitrary absolute file paths without proper validation in the 'attach_file()' function when handling 'file_local' actions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read arbitrary files on the server's filesystem, including sensitive configuration files and system files via the 'local_url' parameter. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-68478 7.1 high 6.0% langflow Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to version 1.7.0, if an arbitrary path is specified in the request body's `fs_path`, the server serializes the Flow object into JSON and creates/overwrites a file at that path. There is no path restriction, normalization, or allowed directory enforcement, so absolute paths (e.g., /etc/poc.txt) are interpreted as is. Version 1.7.0 fixes the issue. 13 Oct
CVE-2025-11490 2.1 low 4.0% wonderwhy-er, desktopcommandermcp A vulnerability has been found in wonderwhy-er DesktopCommanderMCP up to 0.2.13. The affected element is the function extractBaseCommand of the file src/command-manager.ts of the component Absolute Path Handler. Such manipulation leads to os command injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor explains: "The usual use case is that AI is asked to do something, picks commands itself, and typically uses simple command names without absolute paths. It's curious why a user would ask the model to bypass restrictions this way. (...) This could potentially be a problem, but we are yet to hear reports of this being an issue in actual workflows. We'll leave this issue open for situations where people may report this as a problem for the long term." 8 Oct
CVE-2026-53976 9.3 critical 3.0% no CPE yet OpenChamber 1.11.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the file-serving endpoints /api/fs/read, /api/fs/stat, and /api/fs/raw that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying the allowOutsideWorkspace=true query parameter alongside an absolute path, bypassing the workspace boundary check in resolveReadPathFromContext. Attackers can exploit the vacuous isPathWithinRoot guard to read sensitive files such as the JWT signing secret, SSH private keys, API credentials, and environment variables, enabling full authentication bypass by forging session cookies on password-protected deployments. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2015-1197 1.9 low 3.0% gnu, cpio cpio 2.11, when using the --no-absolute-filenames option, allows local users to write to arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a file in an archive. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-93569 8.2 high 2.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in Netty. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in Netty's HTTP/1 to HTTP/2 conversion process. When an HTTP/1 request includes both an absolute-form request-target and a conflicting Host header, Netty incorrectly prioritizes the Host header for the HTTP/2 :authority field, discarding the original request-target authority. This inconsistency can allow an attacker to bypass security controls in Netty-based proxies or gateways, potentially leading to unauthorized access, cache poisoning, or misrouting of requests. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-59867 7.1 high 2.0% no CPE yet Kiota is an OpenAPI based HTTP Client code generator. Prior to 1.29.1 and 1.32.5, Kiota resolved OpenAPI $ref values by fetching remote http(s) URLs and reading local absolute or out-of-tree file paths, allowing `kiota generate` on an attacker-controlled or attacker-influenced description to perform build-time SSRF, remote file inclusion, and local file inclusion by inlining external schemas such as REMOTE_KIOTA_PROP or Leaked into generated clients. This issue is fixed in version 1.29.1 and 1.32.5 by AllowedExternalOriginsStreamLoader and the --allowed-external-origins option. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-73851 6.1 medium 2.0% no CPE yet Kiota is an OpenAPI based HTTP Client code generator. Prior to 1.29.1 and 1.34.0, an attacker who controls or tampers with the OpenAPI description consumed by Kiota can supply a file reference that resolves outside the manifest package (e.g. ../../../../etc/passwd, an absolute path, or a file:// / http(s):// URI). When the generated manifest is deployed and consumed by an AI host, this can lead to inclusion or disclosure of files outside the intended package boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.29.1 and 1.34.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-113672 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 0.9.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the repo-server evaluates .jsonnet files with an importer that does not confine import, importstr, or importbin to the repository root. Absolute paths, parent-directory traversal, and repository symlinks can open any file readable by the repo-server, including /proc/self/environ, projected service-account tokens, mounted private keys, and repository credentials. Although generated Secrets are redacted, placing imported contents in a ConfigMap returns the data to the caller. Using importstr on a non-terminating device such as /dev/zero can exhaust repo-server memory. An attacker can commit a .jsonnet file to a Git repository used by an Application or upload the file through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. Directory applications evaluate every .jsonnet file in the application directory. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing directory Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-45568 9.9 critical 1.0% netfoundry, zrok zrok is software for sharing web services, files, and network resources. Prior to 2.0.3, zrok's Python SDK ProxyShare Flask proxy route accepts an absolute URL in the request path and passes it to urllib.parse.urljoin, allowing the requested path to replace the configured target host and causing requests.request to return a server-side response from an attacker-chosen URL. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-108390 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Hestia Control Panel is a lightweight and powerful control panel for the modern web. From version 1.9.7 through 1.10.4, update_object_value() in func/main.sh does not escape single quotes when writing a custom document-root value to a user's web.conf file, allowing a low-privileged authenticated panel user with a web domain to inject an additional PATH field. When the user invokes the ordinary Search feature, the root-privileged v-search-user-object script loads the forged field through parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), which permits reserved shell-variable names and globally replaces PATH before invoking column without an absolute path. By placing a malicious column executable in the injected search path, the user can execute arbitrary code as root. This residual vulnerability was introduced when version 1.9.7 replaced the raw eval sink addressed by CVE-2026-84984 with parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), and it is fixed in version 1.10.5. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-98959 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix xattr replace when multiple xattrs are packed in the same item If we have a btrfs_dir_item item that packs multiple xattrs and then we replace the value of one of them (with the setxattr(2) family of syscalls) with another value of a different size, we end up not having a fully initialized btrfs_dir_item, resulting in a corruption that the tree checker will detect at extent buffer writeback time. This is because in btrfs_setxattr() when we find a btrfs_dir_item with multiple xattrs (due to the crc32c hash of their name being the same) we delete one of the xattr items (btrfs_dir_item) and then insert a new one, but the deletion and insertion results in shifting existing data in the leaf and therefore when the new value of a xattr has a different size, the new btrfs_dir_item is placed in a leaf section that was not initialized and we only copy the value's data and set the value's length in the new btrfs_dir_item, without setting the name, the name's length, the key (which must be all zeroes for xattrs), flags (BTRFS_FT_XATTR) and transaction ID. The following script reproduces the issue: $ cat test.sh #!/bin/bash DEV=/dev/sdi MNT=/mnt/sdi mkfs.btrfs -f $DEV mount $DEV $MNT touch $MNT/testfile # Add two xattrs that, on btrfs, have the same hash (crc32c) for their # name and therefore are packed into the same btrfs_dir_item. setfattr -n user.foobar -v 123 $MNT/testfile setfattr -n user.WvG1c1Td -v qwerty $MNT/testfile # Verify the xattrs are present. echo "xattrs before:" getfattr --absolute-names --dump $MNT/testfile # Now replace the value of the foobar xattr with a significantly larger # value. setfattr -n user.foobar -v abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz $MNT/testfile # Check the xattrs have the expected values. echo "xattrs after:" getfattr --absolute-names --dump $MNT/testfile umount $MNT Running it: $ ./test.sh (...) xattrs before: # file: /mnt/sdi/testfile user.WvG1c1Td="qwerty" user.foobar="123" xattrs after: # file: /mnt/sdi/testfile user.WvG1c1Td="qwerty" So the "user.foobar" xattr is missing and there was a transaction abort when unmounting the fs with the following traces in dmesg: $ dmesg [869800.159271] BTRFS warning (device sdi): access to eb bytenr 30474240 len 16384 out of range start 16015 len 25964 [869800.159293] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [869800.159296] WARNING: fs/btrfs/extent_io.c:4408 at report_eb_range+0x44/0x60 [btrfs], CPU#8: getfattr/2605179 [869800.168961] Modules linked in: btrfs dm_thin_pool (...) CVE-2026-46652 9.8 critical 1.0% no CPE yet The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. From version 24.03 to before version 26.05, ExternalFilesDownloader.getFilename() extracts the destination filename from a server-supplied Content-Disposition response header and passes it directly to Path.resolve() without stripping directory components. This allows for a malicious HTTP server that the viewer fetches from to supply an absolute path or ../ traversal sequences as the filename, writing attacker-controlled content to an arbitrary path writable by the Tomcat process. When targeting the deployed web-application directory, this yields remote code execution as the tomcat OS user. This issue has been patched in version 26.05. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-55447 9.6 critical 1.0% langflow Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to 1.9.2, by controlling a files that are digested into the RAG, an attacker can direct the node to read any file on the file-system by absolute path. All components based on BaseFileComponent are vulnerable to the vulnerability. This includes Docling (DoclingInlineComponent), Docling Serve, DoclingRemoteComponent), Read File (FileComponent), NVIDIA Retriever Extraction (NvidiaIngestComponent), Video File (VideoFileComponent), and Unstructured API (UnstructuredComponent). This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.2. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-57571 9.6 critical 1.0% kidocode, crawl4ai Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM-friendly web crawler and scraper. Prior to 0.9.0, when the crawler saves a downloaded file, the destination filename was taken from attacker-influenced input and joined to the downloads directory with no confinement. A filename containing an absolute path or traversal escaped the downloads directory, giving an arbitrary file write with attacker-controlled contents; the HTTP crawler path uses the response Content-Disposition filename and the browser crawler path uses the download's suggested filename. Because the written bytes are attacker-controlled, this can escalate to remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-50003 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet A malicious or compromised server can make a DCMTK client using bit-preserving C-GET storage mode write files outside the chosen output directory, using both relative (../) paths and absolute paths. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-59864 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Kiota is an OpenAPI based HTTP Client code generator. Prior to 1.29.1 and 1.32.5, `kiota plugin add` and `kiota plugin generate` (with `-t APIPlugin`) emitted attacker-controlled static_template.file values from x-ai-adaptive-card and x-ai-capabilities into generated Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams plugin manifests without path validation, allowing ../, absolute, rooted, UNC, Windows drive, or URI paths in response_semantics.static_template.file to cause path traversal or out-of-package file inclusion when the generated plugin was deployed. This issue is fixed in version 1.29.1 and 1.32.5. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-76158 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet External Control of File Name or Path in the upload API endpoint of Datiphy Data Management Center from v8.3.0 through v8.5.1 allows a remote attacker to write files to arbitrary locations outside the intended upload directory via relative or absolute path sequences. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-113613 9.2 critical 1.0% no CPE yet FlexGet before 3.20.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the decompress plugin that allows remote attackers to write arbitrary files by supplying malicious archive member paths. Attackers can deliver zip or rar archives with ../ sequences or absolute paths through a feed, writing Python files into the plugins directory for code execution. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-48162 9.1 critical 1.0% wazuh Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.0.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3, DistributedAPI.send_tmp_file() in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/dapi/dapi.py joins an attacker-controlled tmp_file value to WAZUH_PATH without canonicalization or confinement. A cluster peer holding the shared Fernet key can use traversal or an absolute path to make the master return any readable file over the cluster channel. Reading /var/ossec/api/configuration/security/private_key.pem allows the peer to forge administrator REST API tokens offline and then exercise administrative privileges without creating an account. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-47606 9.1 critical 1.0% nvidia, triton_inference_server NVIDIA Triton Inference Server for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an absolute path traversal. A successful exploit might lead to code execution and information disclosure. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-64825 9.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Home Assistant Core before 2026.6.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary files to any directory on the host filesystem by uploading a crafted backup archive during the initial onboarding window. Attackers can manipulate the 'name' field inside the uploaded archive's backup.json to supply an absolute path, causing pathlib.Path.__truediv__ to discard the configured backup directory prefix and write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations, with full filesystem access when the process runs as root. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-58166 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet OpenBMB ChatDev through 2.2.0, fixed in commit 4fd4da6, contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to write or delete arbitrary files by supplying a malicious multipart filename in the file upload endpoint. Attackers can send a crafted filename containing path traversal sequences or an absolute path to the POST uploads session endpoint, which constructs the destination path without sanitization in save_upload_file, causing file write and cleanup operations to target attacker-chosen paths on the server filesystem. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-72107 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm era: fix out-of-bounds memory access for non-zero start sector dm-era tracks writes in target-relative blocks, but era_map() calculates the writeset block before applying the target offset. Tables with a non-zero start sector can therefore pass an absolute mapped-device block to metadata_current_marked(). If the absolute block is beyond the current writeset size, writeset_marked() tests past the end of the in-core bitset. KASAN reports this as a vmalloc-out-of-bounds access. Apply the target offset before calculating the era block so writeset lookups use the target-relative block number. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-70297 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Absolute path traversal in Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-83784 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Absolute path traversal in Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-62677 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Omnigent is an open-source AI agent framework and meta-harness for orchestrating coding agents. Prior to 0.3.0, an authenticated user can upload a session-scoped agent bundle with an absolute or traversal-containing os_env.cwd value because omnigent/spec/parser.py stores the value verbatim and omnigent/spec/validator.py does not constrain it. On a runner where OMNIGENT_RUNNER_WORKSPACE is unset, omnigent/runner/resource_registry.py preserves the attacker-controlled path and omnigent/inner/os_env.py uses the resolved path as the environment root and copytree source. The _assert_within_cwd check then treats that attacker-selected root as trusted, allowing sys_os_read, write, edit, and shell tools to access runner files and environment secrets outside the intended workspace. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-62156 8.8 high 1.0% argoproj, argo_workflows Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Versions prior to 3.6.12 and versions 3.7.0 through 3.7.2 contain a Zip Slip path traversal vulnerability in artifact extraction. During artifact extraction the unpack/untar logic (workflow/executor/executor.go) uses filepath.Join(dest, filepath.Clean(header.Name)) without validating that header.Name stays within the intended extraction directory. A malicious archive entry can supply a traversal or absolute path that, after cleaning, overrides the destination directory and causes files to be written outside the /work/tmp extraction path and into system directories such as /etc inside the container. The vulnerability enables arbitrary file creation or overwrite in system configuration locations (for example /etc/passwd, /etc/hosts, /etc/crontab), which can lead to privilege escalation or persistence within the affected container. Update to 3.6.12 or 3.7.3 to remediate the issue. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-49119 8.7 high 1.0% gradio_project, gradio Gradio before 6.16.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the FileExplorer component's preprocess() method that allows unauthenticated attackers to escape the configured root directory by supplying path segments containing directory traversal sequences or absolute paths. Attackers can provide crafted path segments that cause os.path.join to discard the root_dir prefix entirely, resulting in arbitrary file read or exposure of sensitive files outside the intended directory. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-75111 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Evidently UI fails to properly validate the filename parameter in the dataset materialization endpoint, allowing unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files outside the workspace directory. Attackers can supply traversal sequences or absolute paths in the filename field to access system files, which are then materialized into datasets and retrieved through the download endpoint. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-34517 8.7 high 1.0% ilevia, eve_x1_server_firmware Ilevia EVE X1 Server firmware versions ≤ 4.7.18.0.eden contain an absolute path traversal vulnerability in get_file_content.php that allows an attacker to read arbitrary files. Ilevia has declined to service this vulnerability, and recommends that customers not expose port 8080 to the internet. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-61443 8.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet PraisonAI before 1.6.78 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in SkillTools.run_skill_script() that executes scripts without path containment validation. Attackers can supply absolute file paths to execute arbitrary scripts from any filesystem location, including those outside the intended working directory. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-49248 8.3 high 1.0% no CPE yet OneDev is a Git server with CI/CD, kanban, and packages. In versions 15.0.6 and below, TarUtils.untar() creates symbolic links verbatim from TAR entry getLinkName() without validating whether the target is an absolute path. A subsequent file entry in the same archive traverses the symlink, writing to arbitrary server-side locations. This is exploitable by any authenticated user with CI Job write access — no admin interaction required. This is an incomplete fix bypass of CVE-2021-21251 (GHSA-2w6j-wc8c-9mq2): that patch blocked .. path segments but did not address absolute symlink targets. This issue has been fixed in version 15.0.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-13577 8.2 high 1.0% no CPE yet Dancer2 versions before 2.2.0 for Perl generate insecure session ids when required CSPRNG modules are unavailable. Dancer2::Core::Role::SessionFactory::generate_id silently falls back to a built-in rand-derived session id unless both Math::Random::ISAAC::XS and Crypt::URandom are available. The fallback session id is generated from a SHA-1 hash of a call to the built-in rand function, the absolute path of the Dancer2::Core::Role::SessionFactory module, an internal counter, the process id, the module instance memory address, and a shuffled string of characters (using the List::Util::shuffle function, which also uses the built-in rand function). These are all low-entropy and easily guessed sources. The built-in rand() function is seeded with 32-bits and considered unsuitable for security applications. Predictable session ids could allow an attacker to gain access to systems. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-5821 8.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet The Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion in versions up to and including 1.7.4. This is due to insufficient path validation in the Image_Backup::remove() function where backup file paths stored in post meta are used directly in file deletion operations without verifying they are within the uploads directory. The plugin stores backup file paths in the image_optimizer_metadata post meta field and trusts these paths completely when deleting backups on the delete_attachment hook. An authenticated attacker with Author-level access can edit the image_optimizer_metadata post meta on their own attachments via WordPress's Custom Fields interface, injecting arbitrary absolute file paths into the backups array. When the attacker subsequently deletes the attachment, the plugin calls File_System::delete() on each path without validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server within the web server's filesystem permissions, potentially leading to denial of service, data loss, or security degradation. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-83746 8.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet Absolute path traversal in Skype for Business and Microsoft Lync allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-55488 7.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet motionEye (mEye) is an online interface for a piece of software called "motion," which is a video surveillance program with motion detection. Versions prior to 0.44.0 contain an absolute path traversal vulnerability in multiple media file handlers that allows an attacker to read arbitrary files from the filesystem. The affected handlers accept a user-controlled filename parameter and construct filesystem paths using `os.path.join()`. When an absolute path is supplied, Python discards the configured media directory and returns the attacker-supplied path directly. The application then bypasses Tornado's built-in path validation by overriding the relevant safety checks. As a result, an attacker can access files outside of the configured camera media directory, subject to the permissions of the motionEye process. Version 0.44.0 fixes the issue. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-113352 7.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet uTox through 0.18.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows Tox friends to write arbitrary files by sending absolute or ../ file names to victims with auto-accept enabled. Attackers can overwrite shell startup files or plant crafted .ftinfo resume records that ft_find_resumeable() loads, abusing FILE pointers to write /proc/self/mem and execute code. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-66035 7.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to versions 19.2.16, 20.3.14, and 21.0.1, there is a XSRF token leakage via protocol-relative URLs in angular HTTP clients. The vulnerability is a Credential Leak by App Logic that leads to the unauthorized disclosure of the Cross-Site Request Forgery (XSRF) token to an attacker-controlled domain. Angular's HttpClient has a built-in XSRF protection mechanism that works by checking if a request URL starts with a protocol (http:// or https://) to determine if it is cross-origin. If the URL starts with protocol-relative URL (//), it is incorrectly treated as a same-origin request, and the XSRF token is automatically added to the X-XSRF-TOKEN header. This issue has been patched in versions 19.2.16, 20.3.14, and 21.0.1. A workaround for this issue involves avoiding using protocol-relative URLs (URLs starting with //) in HttpClient requests. All backend communication URLs should be hardcoded as relative paths (starting with a single /) or fully qualified, trusted absolute URLs. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-49290 7.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet Slopsmith is a self-contained web application for browsing, playing, and practicing Rocksmith 2014 Custom DLC (CDLC). Prior to 0.2.9-alpha.5, a path-traversal vulnerability in Slopsmith's archive extractors allows an attacker to write arbitrary files outside the extraction directory by supplying a crafted PSARC or sloppak archive. With the default Docker configuration (running as root) and the ability to drop a file into the plugin directory, this escalates to arbitrary remote code execution on the host. Three archive extractors concatenated archive-entry filenames directly onto the extraction root without validation: `lib/psarc.py::unpack_psarc` — PSARC TOC filenames; `lib/patcher.py::unpack_psarc` — duplicate of the above in the patcher flow; `lib/sloppak.py::_unpack_zip` — bare `ZipFile.extractall()` with no member filter. Each accepts entry names containing `..` segments, absolute paths, or backslash separators. The Python `zipfile` module's default `extractall()` is documented as not preventing traversal when callers don't supply a member-filter callback. Version 0.2.9-alpha.5 patches the issue. Until updated, do not open PSARC or sloppak archives from untrusted sources, and do not expose the Slopsmith instance to the public internet. Docker users should also pull the latest image after the next slopsmith Docker image is published. Sun 25 Oct
