CVE-2026-17566exploit 9.4 critical 1.0% pgadmin, pgadmin_4 pgAdmin 4's Import/Export Data tool builds a psql \copy (...) command line by interpolating a user-supplied SQL query into a Jinja template and passing the rendered line to psql via --command. To stop an attacker from breaking out of the (...) wrapper, create_import_export_job() (route POST /import_export/job/<sid>, gated only by the ordinary, commonly-granted tools_import_export_data permission) validated the query with a hand-written parenthesis-balance checker, _is_query_parens_balanced(). That checker always treated a backslash before a single quote (\') as escaping the quote, i.e. as if standard_conforming_strings were off. PostgreSQL has defaulted standard_conforming_strings to on since 9.1 (2010), the default on every PostgreSQL version pgAdmin 4 currently supports (13-18); under that default psql's own \copy tokenizer treats \ as an ordinary character, so a single quote immediately after it closes the string literal. A query such as SELECT 'a\') TO PROGRAM 'echo pwned' x' was therefore accepted as "balanced" by pgAdmin's checker (which believed the ) was still inside the string), while psql, run through the actual rendered command line, closes the string at that point and treats the following ) as the end of the wrapping \copy (...) subquery, exposing an attacker-chosen TO PROGRAM '<command>' clause that psql executes via popen() -- independent of a subsequent syntax error later on the same line. This is the same class of bug as CVE-2025-12762/CVE-2025-13780 (RCE via psql meta-command/COPY injection during PLAIN-format dump restore), reached through an independently written defense in a different module (Import/Export Data rather than Restore) that had its own, different logic bug (inverted backslash-escape semantics rather than a BOM-defeated regex anchor). The fix rejects any backslash inside a single-quoted string in the query outright, rather than picking one of the two possible psql interpretations. This is intentionally conservative: because the correct interpretation of \ depends on the target server's standard_conforming_strings setting, which the checker cannot reliably know at validation time, refusing the query is safer than guessing. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from the introduction of _is_query_parens_balanced() before 9.18. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111224 7.7 high 5.0% no CPE yet pfSense CE through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the OpenVPN openvpn.connect_async.sh script that allows authenticated VPN users to execute commands as root via crafted usernames. Attackers authenticated through RADIUS or LDAP can use usernames containing single quotes and shell metacharacters to break out of the eval'd pfctl anchor name on connect or disconnect. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-45738 8.7 high 1.0% argoproj, argo_cd Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. Prior to 3.2.12, 3.3.10, and 3.4.2, Argo CD users with application write access can set link.argocd.argoproj.io/* annotations whose pipe-separated values are rendered by ui/src/app/applications/components/application-summary/application-summary.tsx in the Summary tab URLs section as anchor href values without URL validation, allowing javascript: execution in a higher-privileged user's authenticated Argo CD origin session. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.12, 3.3.10, and 3.4.2. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-102986 8.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet Plane is an open-source project management tool. In 1.3.1 and earlier, EntityAssetEndpoint at the public project asset endpoint /api/public/assets/v2/anchor/{anchor}/ requires authentication for write operations but does not verify workspace or project membership. An authenticated user who knows a published project's public DeployBoard.anchor can create FileAsset records in that project and soft-delete existing assets by identifier, allowing cross-workspace file injection, storage abuse, and data loss. The issue is fixed in version 1.4.0. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-14895 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet String::Util versions before 1.36 for Perl are susceptible to a regular expression denial of service. The trim and rtrim functions stripped trailing whitespace with s/\s*$//u. Because \s* matches greedily and the $ anchor fails whenever a non-whitespace character follows the whitespace, the regex engine retries the match at each offset of a long whitespace run, producing quadratic backtracking. The fix replaces \s*$ with \s+$. Any caller that passes untrusted input to trim or rtrim can trigger CPU exhaustion with a string containing a long run of whitespace. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-14741 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet HTTP::Date versions before 6.08 for Perl allow CPU exhaustion via polynomial regex backtracking in parse_date. parse_date() matches the date string against a chain of alternative regexes, and str2time() delegates to it. Several of these patterns place unbounded quantifiers next to each other before a trailing `\s*$` anchor. A valid date prefix followed by a long interior run of digits, letters, or whitespace and a single trailing byte that defeats the final match forces the engine to repartition the run, giving polynomial (about quadratic) backtracking. A header value of a few tens of kilobytes runs for tens of seconds of CPU. HTTP::Date parses timestamps such as HTTP `Date`, `Expires`, and `Last-Modified` headers, which commonly originate from untrusted sources. Any caller that passes an untrusted date header to str2time() or parse_date() can be driven to consume unbounded CPU, a denial of service. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-52974 7.5 high 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure When tls_set_device_offload_rx() fails at tls_dev_add(), the error path calls tls_sw_free_resources_rx() to clean up the SW context that was initialized by tls_set_sw_offload(). This function calls tls_sw_release_resources_rx() (which stops the strparser via tls_strp_stop()) and tls_sw_free_ctx_rx() (which kfrees the context), but never frees the anchor skb that was allocated by alloc_skb(0) in tls_strp_init(). Note that tls_sw_free_resources_rx() is exclusively used for this "failed to start offload" code path, there's no other caller. The leak did not exist before commit 84c61fe1a75b ("tls: rx: do not use the standard strparser"), because the standard strparser doesn't try to pre-allocate an skb. The normal close path in tls_sk_proto_close() handles cleanup by calling tls_sw_strparser_done() (which calls tls_strp_done()) after dropping the socket lock, because tls_strp_done() does cancel_work_sync() and the strparser work handler takes the socket lock. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-18108 9.8 critical 0.00% timlegge, net\ Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow authentication bypass because _verify_encrypted_assertion accepts an EncryptedAssertion whose decrypted content carries no signature. _verify_encrypted_assertion decrypts the EncryptedAssertion and returns it as verified when it carries no signature, via "return $xml unless $xpath->exists('dsig:Signature', $assert);". The signature check and the trust anchor check that follow run only when a signature is present, so a decrypted assertion with no dsig:Signature element reaches new_from_xml unverified and its NameID and attributes are read into the assertion object. An SP's encryption certificate is published in its SAML metadata so the IdP can encrypt to it, so any party can encrypt an unsigned assertion to that certificate, wrap it in a samlp:Response, and post it to the assertion consumer service. Any caller that configures a decryption key_file, and so accepts EncryptedAssertions, takes identity fields from an assertion that no trust anchor covers, and an unauthenticated party can authenticate as an arbitrary user. Callers with no key_file configured do not decrypt and are unaffected. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-64025 9.8 critical 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, skmsg: fix verdict sk_data_ready racing with ktls rx sk_psock_strp_data_ready() already checks tls_sw_has_ctx_rx() and defers to psock->saved_data_ready when a TLS RX context is present, avoiding a conflict with the TLS strparser's ownership of the receive queue (commit e91de6afa81c, "bpf: Fix running sk_skb program types with ktls"). sk_psock_verdict_data_ready() has no equivalent guard. When a socket is inserted into a sockmap (BPF_SK_SKB_VERDICT) before TLS RX is configured, tls_sw_strparser_arm() saves sk_psock_verdict_data_ready as rx_ctx->saved_data_ready. On data arrival: tls_data_ready -> tls_strp_data_ready -> tls_rx_msg_ready -> saved_data_ready() = sk_psock_verdict_data_ready() -> tcp_read_skb() drains sk_receive_queue via __skb_unlink() without calling tcp_eat_skb(), so copied_seq is not advanced. tls_strp_msg_load() then finds tcp_inq() >= full_len (stale), calls tcp_recv_skb() on the now-empty queue, hits WARN_ON_ONCE(!first), and returns with rx_ctx->strp.anchor.frag_list pointing at a psock-owned (potentially freed) skb. tls_decrypt_sg() subsequently walks that frag_list: use-after-free. Apply the same fix as sk_psock_strp_data_ready(): if a TLS RX context is present, call psock->saved_data_ready (sock_def_readable) to wake recv() waiters and return immediately, leaving the receive queue untouched. TLS retains sole ownership of the queue and decrypts the record normally through tls_sw_recvmsg(). 19 Oct
CVE-2026-34950 9.1 critical 0.00% nearform, fast-jwt fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. In 6.1.0 and earlier, the publicKeyPemMatcher regex in fast-jwt/src/crypto.js uses a ^ anchor that is defeated by any leading whitespace in the key string, re-enabling the exact same JWT algorithm confusion attack that CVE-2023-48223 patched. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115693 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in hackney_ssl in benoitc hackney allows an on-path attacker to impersonate a server pinned to a private certificate authority via a certificate chain that ends in a publicly trusted root. hackney adds {partial_chain, fun hackney_ssl:partial_chain/1} to every verify_peer configuration. The callback returns any certificate in the peer chain whose public key matches a root in the bundled certifi store as the trust anchor, and OTP honours that callback over the configured cacerts. hackney_ssl:merge_ssl_opts/3 kept the callback when the caller replaced the trust store with cacerts or cacertfile in ssl_options, so a connection pinned to a private CA still accepted any chain that carried a publicly trusted root. The hostname check still applies, so the attacker needs a publicly trusted certificate for the pinned hostname. This issue affects hackney: from 1.24.0 before 4.9.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-67231 9.1 critical 0.00% broadcom, rabbitmq_server RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, The trust-store plugin installs a verify_fun that overrides {bad_cert, unknown_ca} / {bad_cert, selfsigned_peer} when the presented cert "matches" a whitelisted one. The match key is extract_issuer_id/1 → public_key:pkix_issuer_id/2 → {IssuerName, SerialNumber} , both fields are taken verbatim from the presented certificate body and contain no public-key, SKI, fingerprint or signature material. is_whitelisted/1 is a pure ets:member lookup; the stored full DER is used only for list/0 display and is never compared against the presented cert. cacerts is [], so the whitelisted cert is never used as a trust anchor for path validation either. TLS client-authentication bypass: an attacker who knows the issuer DN + serial of any whitelisted certificate can connect with a forged self-signed cert. Preconditions include rabbitmq_trust_store plugin enabled and used as the TLS verify_fun Attacker knows or can guess the {Issuer, Serial} of at least one whitelisted cert (non-secret; exposed via CLI/logs/any cert copy). This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-104078 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Obsidian Desktop before 1.14.0 contains a filter bypass vulnerability in the bundled MathJax 3.2.2 Safe component that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by embedding a crafted \href value with a TAB byte in the URL scheme, causing filterURL to produce an empty protocol that bypasses the configured safeProtocols restrictions. Attackers can craft a note containing a malicious MathJax formula that renders as a javascript: URL anchor, which when clicked by the victim in Live Preview executes in the Node-integration-enabled vault renderer via require('child_process'), achieving arbitrary operating system command execution as the desktop user. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-45137 8.2 high 0.00% anchor-lang, anchor Anchor is a framework providing several convenient developer tools for writing Solana programs. From 1.0.0 to before 1.0.2, an logic error causes anchor programs to accept any program id when requiring the system program id, causing false assumptions resulting in potential arbitrary cpi in programs that invoke system program instructions. In the TryFrom<&'a AccountInfo<'a>> implementation for Program<'a, T>, the id of T is compared with Pubkey::default() to check whether anchor should allow any executable account, or a specific account, because when no T is supplied, T defaults to (), which implements Id::id() by returning Pubkey::default(). This results in T = () and T = System (which has Pubkey::default() as the id) having the same behavior, both allow any executable account. Programs built with anchor assume that the anchor runtime verifies passed in programs of type Program<'a, System> are in fact the system program. This false assumption can lead to arbitrary CPI or payment bypassing when programs try making CPI calls to the system program using the passed in system program due to the fact that the attacker can pass in any program instead of the system program. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-18092 8.1 high 0.00% timlegge, net\ Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass via XML signature wrapping because new_from_xml reads assertion identity with document-wide XPath instead of the signed subtree. new_from_xml reads the NameID, attribute values, SessionIndex, audience and other identity fields with document-wide XPath, such as //saml:Assertion/saml:AttributeStatement/saml:Attribute and //saml:Subject/saml:NameID, which select the first matching element in document order rather than the element covered by the verified signature. handle_response confirms that a signature is present and, when a cacert is configured, that it chains to the CA, but XML::Sig verifies only the element named by the signature's Reference URI, so unsigned sibling assertions in the same document are not covered. An attacker who holds any one IdP-signed assertion can add an unsigned attacker-authored assertion earlier in document order; the signature still verifies and the document-order XPath returns the attacker's NameID and attributes. Any caller that passes an untrusted Response to new_from_xml can accept identity fields from an assertion the IdP never signed, even when a cacert trust anchor is configured, so a party holding one valid IdP-signed assertion can authenticate as an arbitrary user. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-57076 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet YAML::Syck versions before 1.47 for Perl allow a heap use-after-free via an anchor name reused as an anchors-table key in syck_hdlr_add_anchor. In the bundled libsyck an anchor name allocated by syck_strndup is stored both as node->anchor, freed when the node is freed, and as the key in the parser's anchors table. Freeing the node frees the shared key, and a later anchor redefinition makes st_delete compare against the freed key, so st_strcmp reads freed heap memory. Anchors are a standard YAML feature and need no special flags, so this is reached on the default Load path. Any caller that runs Load or LoadFile on an untrusted document that redefines an anchor reaches the read of freed memory. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-80947 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtl8xxxu: fix use-after-free from rx_urb_wq on stop rtl8xxxu arms rx_urb_wq from the RX completion path: rtl8xxxu_rx_complete() hands the URB to rtl8xxxu_queue_rx_urb(), which queues it on rx_urb_pending_list and, once the list grows past RTL8XXXU_RX_URB_PENDING_WATER, schedules rx_urb_wq. The worker rtl8xxxu_rx_urb_work() drains rx_urb_pending_list, recovers priv through container_of, and resubmits each URB through rtl8xxxu_submit_rx_urb(), which anchors it on rx_anchor and dereferences priv->udev. rtl8xxxu_stop() cancels the sibling work items (c2hcmd_work, ra_watchdog, update_beacon_work) but never cancels rx_urb_wq, so a worker armed during the last burst of RX traffic can run rtl8xxxu_rx_urb_work() after rtl8xxxu_disconnect() has called ieee80211_free_hw(), which frees priv, producing a use-after-free. The window opens under active RX traffic (pending count above the watermark) followed by a disconnect. There are two teardown races to close: * rtl8xxxu_queue_rx_urb() decided whether to enqueue under rx_urb_lock but called schedule_work() after dropping the lock. A completion that observed shutdown == false and released the lock could then call schedule_work() after rtl8xxxu_stop() had set shutdown and cancel_work_sync() had already returned, arming the worker to run after the teardown. Move schedule_work() under the same !shutdown branch so the arming decision is atomic with the shutdown check. * rtl8xxxu_rx_urb_work() anchors every URB it drained back onto rx_anchor through rtl8xxxu_submit_rx_urb(). A worker still running when usb_kill_anchored_urbs(&priv->rx_anchor) returned would submit a URB that escaped the kill. In rtl8xxxu_stop(), call cancel_work_sync(&priv->rx_urb_wq) before the kill so the worker is drained first. After priv->shutdown is set under rx_urb_lock, completions can no longer queue rx_urb_wq. cancel_work_sync() then drains the last queued or running worker, and the following usb_kill_anchored_urbs() kills the URBs it may have submitted. rtl8xxxu_disconnect() is covered because ieee80211_unregister_hw() guarantees .stop() runs for a live interface before ieee80211_free_hw() frees priv. The probe error path needs no cancel: rx_urb_wq is INIT_WORK()'d there but cannot have been scheduled, since no URB is submitted before ieee80211_register_hw() succeeds. This bug was found by static analysis. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-54910 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet FileBrowser Quantum is a free, self-hosted, web-based file manager. Prior to version 1.4.3-beta, the `subtitlesHandler` endpoint (`GET /api/media/subtitles`) accepts two user-controlled query parameters: `path` and `name`, both of which are used in filesystem operations without sanitization, creating two independent path traversal vectors. The primary vector is the `path` parameter: it is passed directly to `idx.GetRealPath()` without calling `SanitizeUserPath()`, allowing an attacker to escape the storage root and set `parentDir` to any directory on the host. No existing anchor file is required. The secondary vector is the `name` parameter: it is joined with `parentDir` via `filepath.Join(parentDir, name)` without stripping directory components, allowing traversal relative to any resolved `parentDir`. Any authenticated user (regardless of role or permissions) can exploit either vector to read any text file readable by the server process, including `/etc/passwd`, SSH keys, database credentials, and JWT signing keys. Version 1.4.3-beta patches the issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-108260 7.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to 0.2.1, the tina-markdown element in packages/@tinacms/web-components/src/tina-markdown.js assigns a rich-text node.url value directly to an anchor href without validating the URL scheme. A content author can store a link using a script-capable scheme, and a visitor who clicks the rendered link executes attacker-controlled script in the site's origin. The script can access same-origin application data and, when the visitor is an editor or administrator, may expose credentials stored by the TinaCMS admin on that origin. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.1. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-18089 7.5 high 0.00% timlegge, net\ Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow SAML authentication bypass by verifying responses against the response-embedded certificate in verify_xml when no trust anchor is configured. verify_xml in Net::SAML2::Role::VerifyXML runs "return if !$anchors && !$cacert;" as soon as the XML::Sig check succeeds, and that check uses the X.509 certificate taken from the response's own dsig:KeyInfo/dsig:X509Certificate element, so an unanchored response is checked only against the key it carries. Binding::POST declares cacert as an optional Maybe[Str] with no default, so a POST binding built without one takes that path, and _verify_encrypted_assertion returns early the same way with "return $xml unless $cacert;". Any caller that constructs Binding::POST or calls Assertion->new_from_xml without a cacert, cert_text, or anchors argument accepts a response signed by an attacker generated key whose self-signed certificate is embedded in that response, authenticating an arbitrary assertion. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-18568 7.5 high 0.00% xml\, \ XML::Sig versions from 0.29 before 0.72 for Perl allow signature verification bypass because verify returns true when every signature was skipped before any cryptographic check. verify in lib/XML/Sig.pm counts the `//dsig:Signature` elements into `$numsigs` and iterates over them, but two paths reach `next` before any digest or key check runs: a `SignedInfo/Reference/@URI` that resolves to no element while `$numsigs` is greater than 1, and, when `id_attr` is set, a reference that does not match the requested ID. The loop records nothing about what it checked, so when every signature takes one of those paths control reaches the unconditional `return 1` that ends verify. Two `Signature` elements whose Reference URI names an ID that no element carries is enough, as is one such element combined with `id_attr`. Any caller that passes untrusted XML to verify can receive a true return for a document in which no digest and no signature value was checked; a `cert` or `cert_text` trust anchor does not change this, because no key check runs. Versions up to 0.28 use an XML::XPath based verify that has no such skip and are not affected. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-116796 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Highcharts JS is a JavaScript charting library based on SVG. From 10.3.2 until 11.4.9, 12.6.2, and 13.1.1, Highcharts accepts an SVG anchor xlink:href attribute without applying the allowed-scheme check used for href and src. An attacker who controls a chart text option can preserve a javascript URL in serialized chart output. When exported or server-rendered SVG is parsed again and a user activates the link, script runs in the origin of that document. This issue is fixed in 11.4.9, 12.6.2 and 13.1.1. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109288 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Open WebUI before 0.11.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in MarkdownInlineTokens.svelte, which renders markdown link URLs into anchor hrefs without validating their scheme. Authenticated users can embed javascript: links in shared chats that, when clicked by a victim, steal the victim's JWT from local storage, including admins' tokens. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111122 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet The SiteOrigin CSS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the malicious comment to be approved and an administrator to subsequently open the Visual Inspector and click the attacker's anchor link, both of which are plausible interactions during routine comment triage. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-53499 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet FORT Validator is a Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) relying-party validator that produces validated route-origin data. FORT Validator versions through 1.6.7 contain an origin-validation error in their RRDP processing: a delegated CA under the same Trust Anchor Locator (TAL) can reference a victim CA’s public RRDP notification and snapshot URLs, causing FORT’s URL-based download cache to report success after deleting the victim’s local snapshot. Following a routine victim publication, this can silently remove the victim’s VRPs and other signed objects from FORT’s output, potentially enabling route hijacking or loss of reachability. Version 1.6.8 contains a patch that rejects cross-origin RRDP snapshot and delta URLs; as a workaround, administrators can disable HTTP/RRDP with --http.enabled=false while keeping rsync enabled, although this can leave data unavailable or stale where rsync is not supported. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-113487 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The GeoDirectory WordPress plugin before 2.8.196 does not properly sanitise or escape a post badge click-through link value before outputting it in an anchor element on a listing, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks against higher-privileged users who view the listing, including an administrator reviewing moderated content. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-50106 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet When NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.26.1 is configured with both a root trust anchor and an additional 'trust-anchor:' for an island-of-security zone whose parent is provably insecure under the root chain, a malicious actor who can deliver one forged NXDOMAIN response for a name inside the island, with the NSEC/SOA RRSIG 'SignerName' set to the insecure parent, tricks Unbound's validator to use the root trust anchor instead, and consecutively the insecure parent, thus causing that record to be treated as insecure and denying existence for records in the trust island. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-109370 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Document Embedder – let visitors read files without downloading plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'content (post_content containing block JSON documentSource.doc)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is triggered specifically when the victim clicks the embedded document's Download button, which causes the de_track_download AJAX fallback path to programmatically create an anchor with the attacker-controlled href and call .click() — a condition reached because supplying docId=0 causes can_read_document() to return false, bypassing the normal download flow. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-97340 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Avada | Website Builder For WordPress & WooCommerce theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the user profile 'Author Page' social link contact-method fields (author_facebook, author_twitter, author_linkedin, author_dribble, author_whatsapp, author_email) in versions up to, and including, 7.16.1. Avada registers these fields through the user_contactmethods filter and, on the author archive, emits them inside an anchor href using only esc_attr() in Fusion_Social_Icon::get_markup(), which escapes HTML metacharacters but does not reject dangerous URL schemes such as javascript:. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses their author page and clicks the injected social icon (a click is required, and the site must have 'Open Social Icons in a New Window' set to Off so the browser doesn't block the javascript: URL from opening in a new tab). 13 Oct
CVE-2026-13713 6.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet YAML::Syck versions before 1.47 for Perl allow a use-after-free and double-free via an anchor node freed while still on the parser value stack. In the bundled libsyck, when an anchor name is redefined or removed, syck_hdlr_add_anchor and syck_hdlr_remove_anchor free the node stored under that name with syck_free_node. That node can still be live on the parser's value stack, so syck_hdlr_add_node reaches it again and frees it a second time. On a normal build the 48-byte node chunk is freed twice and the interpreter aborts. Anchors need no special flags, so this is reached on the default Load path, and a 7-byte document that redefines an anchor triggers it. Any caller that runs Load or LoadFile on an untrusted document that redefines an anchor mid-parse crashes the interpreter, a denial of service. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-44587 6.1 medium 0.00% carrierwave_project, carrierwave CarrierWave is a framework to upload files from Ruby applications. In versions prior to 2.2.7 and 3.1.3, the content_type_denylist check fails to escape regex metacharacters in string entries, causing the denylist to silently not match the content types it is intended to block. In lib/carrierwave/uploader/content_type_denylist.rb:57, denylist entries are interpolated directly into a regex without Regexp.quote or anchoring, so an entry such as image/svg+xml becomes the pattern /image\/svg+xml/, in which + is treated as a quantifier rather than a literal character and therefore never matches the real MIME type image/svg+xml. This is inconsistent with the allowlist implementation, which correctly applies both Regexp.quote and a \A anchor. Other content types containing regex metacharacters, such as application/xhtml+xml, are affected as well. As a result, any application that relies on content_type_denylist to block image/svg+xml, most commonly to prevent stored XSS, is silently unprotected. An attacker can upload an SVG file containing arbitrary JavaScript; if the application serves that SVG inline from its own origin, the script executes in the victim's browser, resulting in stored XSS. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.2.7 and 3.1.3. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-87869 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Filter Everything — WordPress & WooCommerce Filters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 1.9.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the flrt_elementor_load_more_anchor() function. The function reads query parameters from $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] via getFormActionOrFullPageUrl(true), which URL-decodes them through parse_str() and re-assembles them using build_query() — a WordPress core function that does NOT re-encode values ($urlencode=false). The resulting URL, containing unescaped special characters, is injected into a data-next-page HTML attribute via preg_replace() without esc_attr() or esc_url(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a specially crafted link. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-54443 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Dashy is a self-hostable personal dashboard. From 1.9.4 until 3.2.0, the Dashy RSS Widget in src/components/Widgets/RssFeed.vue does not sanitize RSS item link values before rendering feed item titles and Read More links as anchor href attributes, allowing an attacker-controlled feed to provide a javascript: URI that executes when clicked in the Dashy origin. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-23108 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: usb_8dev: usb_8dev_read_bulk_callback(): fix URB memory leak Fix similar memory leak as in commit 7352e1d5932a ("can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): fix URB memory leak"). In usb_8dev_open() -> usb_8dev_start(), the URBs for USB-in transfers are allocated, added to the priv->rx_submitted anchor and submitted. In the complete callback usb_8dev_read_bulk_callback(), the URBs are processed and resubmitted. In usb_8dev_close() -> unlink_all_urbs() the URBs are freed by calling usb_kill_anchored_urbs(&priv->rx_submitted). However, this does not take into account that the USB framework unanchors the URB before the complete function is called. This means that once an in-URB has been completed, it is no longer anchored and is ultimately not released in usb_kill_anchored_urbs(). Fix the memory leak by anchoring the URB in the usb_8dev_read_bulk_callback() to the priv->rx_submitted anchor. 19 Oct

In kvaser_usb_set_{,data_}bittiming() -> kvaser_usb_setup_rx_urbs(), the URBs for USB-in transfers are allocated, added to the dev->rx_submitted anchor and submitted. In the complete callback kvaser_usb_read_bulk_callback(), the URBs are processed and resubmitted. In kvaser_usb_remove_interfaces() the URBs are freed by calling usb_kill_anchored_urbs(&dev->rx_submitted). However, this does not take into account that the USB framework unanchors the URB before the complete function is called. This means that once an in-URB has been completed, it is no longer anchored and is ultimately not released in usb_kill_anchored_urbs(). Fix the memory leak by anchoring the URB in the kvaser_usb_read_bulk_callback() to the dev->rx_submitted anchor. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-111318 5.4 medium 0.00% devitemsllc, ht mega addons for elementor – elementor widgets & template builder The HT Mega Addons for Elementor – Elementor Widgets & Template Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href attribute of <a> inside .htmega-tab-nav' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires a co-installed plugin such as wpDiscuz with its rich editor enabled whose markup allowlist permits span[class] and a[href] storage, an HT Mega Tabs widget present on the same page as the comment section, and a victim user click on the injected anchor link. CVE-2026-41061 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isValidDuration()` regex at `objects/video.php:918` uses `/^[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}/` without a `$` end anchor, allowing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript to be appended after a valid duration prefix. The crafted duration is stored in the database and rendered without HTML escaping via `echo Video::getCleanDuration()` on trending pages, playlist pages, and video gallery thumbnails, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. Commit bcba324644df8b4ed1f891462455f1cd26822a45 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42177 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet linux-entra-sso is a browser plugin for Linux to SSO on Microsoft Entra ID. Prior to 1.8.1, platform/chrome/js/platform-chrome.js:69-88 registers a single declarativeNetRequest rule whose urlFilter is Platform.SSO_URL + "/*", i.e. "https://login.microsoftonline.com/*". Chrome's urlFilter without a | or || anchor is substring-matched against the full request URL. The same applied rule action is modifyHeaders that attaches the Entra ID Primary Refresh Token cookie. The Firefox adapter in platform/firefox/js/platform-firefox.js:53 performs a belt-and-braces startsWith(Platform.SSO_URL) check before injecting the header; the Chrome adapter does not. When the extension holds broad host permissions through the optional_host_permissions: ["https://*/*"] declared in platform/chrome/manifest.json:34, a main-frame navigation to a URL whose path embeds https://login.microsoftonline.com/ causes Chrome to attach the PRT cookie to the request to the attacker-controlled host. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.1. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-65697 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Fathom Lite through 1.3.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the analytics collection endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject a javascript: URI into the Top Pages dashboard by supplying a crafted hostname and pathname to the unauthenticated /collect endpoint. The parseHostname and parsePathname functions perform no URI scheme validation, allowing a javascript: hostname combined with a newline-prefixed pathname to be stored and later rendered as an anchor href in the authenticated dashboard without sanitization, enabling session hijacking and full account takeover when an operator clicks the poisoned entry. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-115507 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Vikunja 2.2.0 before 2.7.1 contains an HTML injection vulnerability in CreateConversationalHeader in pkg/notifications/mail.go that interpolates display names and task and project titles raw into email anchors. Authenticated users can craft titles or display names that close the anchor and inject phishing links into task-comment and task-mention notification emails sent to project members. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111903 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet phpMyFAQ 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in SvgSanitizer that allows users with FAQ_EDIT permission to bypass sanitization using XML DTD custom entities. Attackers can upload an SVG defining an entity that expands to javascript in an anchor href, executing script when viewers click it to hijack admin sessions. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-110228 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet wallabag 2.6.13 through 2.6.14 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users to host arbitrary HTML by triggering a failed Pocket HTML, Pocket CSV or Shaarli import. Attackers can upload an HTML file with script but no anchor elements, leaving it at the predictable /uploads/import/<user-id>.html path to execute script in victims' wallabag sessions. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107798 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet jivejdon from commit 595d8d22 through commit ee67a65e contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the default-enabled TextStyle filter that inserts unvalidated URLs into anchor href attributes. Authenticated attackers can post messages with javascript: links or quote-breaking URLs to execute JavaScript when other users click or hover over rendered links. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-35501 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet When NLnet Labs Unbound 1.0.1 up to and including version 1.26.1 is configured with both a root trust anchor and an additional 'trust-anchor:' for an island-of-security zone whose parent is provably insecure under the root chain, a malicious actor with a forged NSEC reply with the SOA bit cleared can trick Unbound to treat the configured trust island as insecure. This happens because the DNSSEC validator in Unbound accepts and caches the NSEC insecure response bypassing the RRSIG validation that the validator was supposed to do. The acceptance of the NSEC record at the trust anchor apex was allowed due to and old fix for type DS and NSEC queries from clients when trust anchor for that name existed. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-65197 3.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet H3C HDM Family-A verifies the RSA signature of a firmware image against a public key it reads from the mutable file `/conf/public.pem`. That file is writable by an authenticated Redfish client through the `UpdateService.UploadSignKey` action, which stores the uploaded body verbatim after validating only that the multipart filename ends in `.pem`. An administrator, or any account with `firmware-update` privilege, can therefore replace the trust anchor with their own key, sign a malicious image with the matching private key, and have it pass verification. Family-A has no hardware root-of-trust (no PFR) to catch the substituted key. This was observed on H3C HDM Family-A G5 HDM 6.14.01. H3C HDM Family-A G3/G5 builds carrying the Redfish/DRE update tree appear to be affected. HDM2 uses a different update path and is not covered by this finding. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-114130 2.3 low 0.00% no CPE yet Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. Prior to 4.6.0, an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-53722 allows an application with pages disabled to render a script-capable URL through NuxtLink when attacker-controlled input bound to to is prefixed with an ASCII C0 control character. The no-pages router classifies the value as an internal route before the earlier protocol check and passes it to the rendered anchor href; browsers remove the leading control character and interpret the remaining javascript: URL. The default anchor and NuxtLink custom output are affected, the unsafe href is present in server-rendered HTML, and a victim must click the link for script to execute in the application's origin. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-40243 2.3 low 0.00% linuxcontainers, incus Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. In versions before 7.0.0, broken TLS validation logic in the OVN database connection logic can allow connections to an attacker's OVN database. The OVN client implementations disable Go standard TLS server verification and replace it with custom peer-certificate verification logic. That replacement verifier does not anchor trust in the configured CA certificate. Instead, it constructs the verification root set from certificates supplied by the peer during the handshake, so the configured CA is parsed but not used as the trust anchor for the final verification decision. In OVN-enabled deployments that use these SSL database connection paths, an attacker able to impersonate or intercept the OVN endpoint on the management network can present a rogue self-signed certificate chain, and Incus will accept this certificate as valid. This issue defeats the intended CA-based trust model for OVN database connections and permits endpoint impersonation by an active attacker in a suitable network position. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-118995 unscored — no CPE yet CallBackery versions before 0.62.0 for Perl accept unintended values in form fields checked by createRxValidator. createRxValidator() is documented to anchor the supplied pattern at both ends, but builds /^${rx}$/ without grouping the pattern. An alternation such as yes|no then accepts any value starting with yes or ending with no, and $ also accepts a value with one trailing newline. An authenticated user can submit values the pattern was meant to reject, which an application may then write into generated configuration files. 22 h ago
CVE-2026-98773 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: cdc-acm: skip URB restart in port_shutdown if disconnected acm_port_shutdown() is called from the tty-port machinery whenever the last user closes the port. acm_disconnect() sets acm->disconnected and calls tty_port_tty_vhangup(), which eventually triggers port_shutdown(). At that point acm_disconnect() has already called acm_poison_urbs() and is about to free the control and read URBs. However, acm_port_shutdown() unconditionally calls acm_unpoison_urbs() and, when the ALWAYS_POLL_CTRL quirk is set, immediately re-submits the ctrlurb and all read URBs. If the concurrent acm_disconnect() then frees those URBs and their DMA buffers while they are in-flight, the result is a use-after-free in acm_ctrl_irq() or acm_read_bulk_callback() accessing the freed DMA memory. Fix by checking acm->disconnected after draining the delayed anchor and returning early: if we are in a disconnect path the URBs must remain poisoned and must not be resubmitted. The early return is placed after the delayed-anchor drain loop because that loop only cancels write-side accounting (wb->use = false and autopm counter) and does not touch the hardware path. 23 h ago
CVE-2026-110952 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet A Kafka broker that authenticates clients with SASL/OAUTHBEARER using the bundled JWKS-backed validator always verifies the JWT signature, but two further checks are only performed when explicitly configured: - The issuer (iss) claim is verified only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token carrying the expected audience is accepted regardless of which issuer minted it. - An audience (aud) claim is required only when sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience is set. When it is unset, a validly-signed token that omits the aud claim is accepted. (A token that carries an aud claim is still rejected when no expected audience is configured.) Both options default to unset and have been documented as optional (Importance LOW) since KIP-768 (3.1.0). Impact: The exposure is realizable mainly in deployments whose JWKS endpoint serves signing keys for more than one issuer (a multi-tenant identity provider, an aggregated/shared JWKS, or shared signing keys): a token minted for a different issuer, or a token lacking an audience, may be accepted to authenticate — potentially as a higher-privileged principal. In a single-issuer deployment where the provider controls the iss claim and issues audience-scoped tokens, exposure is limited. The signature trust anchor remains enforced in all cases. This is distinct from CVE-2026-33557 (acceptance of unsigned/unvalidated tokens); here the signature is validated and only the issuer/audience checks are not enforced by default. Mitigation (all affected versions, no upgrade required): Set both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer (to your provider's exact iss value) and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience (to the audience(s) your brokers expect), per listener. Brokers that set these perform exact-match issuer/audience checks and are not affected. Both have been available since 3.1.0. Resolution: - From Apache Kafka 4.4.0: a broker configured with a JWKS endpoint fails to start unless both sasl.oauthbearer.expected.issuer and sasl.oauthbearer.expected.audience are set (secure by default). Deployments that intentionally do not restrict the issuer and/or audience may opt out per axis with sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.issuer=true and/or sasl.oauthbearer.allow.unverified.audience=true.
