CVE-2026-59139 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::ReqRep::Shared versions before 0.05 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated arena offset and length in reqrep_recv_locked. The attach-time validator reqrep_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. reqrep_recv_locked does memcpy(copy_buf, req_arena + arena_off, len) with arena_off and len read raw from the mmap'd segment and never bounded against the arena capacity (req_arena_cap). A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a request slot's offset and length, so receiving the request copies a file-controlled offset and length out of the arena, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59141 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::RadixTree::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via unvalidated node and arena indices in rdx_find_locked. The attach-time validator rdx_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the node records it then trusts. rdx_find_locked indexes nodes[cur].children[k] and reads each node's label_off and label_len raw from the mmap'd segment, none bounded against the node count or the arena size. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the node records, so a lookup dereferences an out-of-bounds node or arena index, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59142 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::HashMap::Shared versions before 0.14 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated arena offset and length in shm_str_copy. The attach-time validator shm_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. shm_str_copy does memcpy(dst, arena + off, len) with off and len read raw from the mmap'd segment and unbounded, on the each, keys, values, pop, shift, take, swap, drain and cursor paths. The get path bounds off and len separately and is not affected. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a record's offset and length, so iterating or draining the map copies a file-controlled offset and length out of the arena, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59145 9.1 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Data::Intern::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via unvalidated slot, reverse and arena indices in si_idx_find. The attach-time validator si_validate_header is thorough about the header and layout (magic, version, section offsets, total_size, count and arena_used) but does not validate the three arrays it then trusts. Every lookup in si_idx_find walks a triple indirection read straight from the mmap'd segment, arena[reverse[slots[i].id]], with no bound on slots[i].id against count, on the reverse[id] arena offset against arena_used, or on the arena record's length prefix. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a slot id, a reverse offset or an arena length prefix, so an id_of, intern or string lookup dereferences the chain out of bounds; because string() returns a file-controlled length of bytes from the arena, adjacent process memory can be disclosed. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-9169 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet DLL Search Order Hijacking in LUCID Vision Labs Arena SDK 1.0.80.49 on Windows allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the application by placing a malicious DLL in a user-controlled directory listed in the PATH environment variable, which the SDK traverses when a required dependency is not found locally. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-103414 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet The GUIX binary resource (theme) loader sizes its arena and populates it in two separate passes that traverse the resource file with independent cursor arithmetic. Because `gx_page_header_data_size` is never validated against the glyph data a page actually contains, the two passes can read different page headers for the same font page, derive different glyph counts, and reserve less than the load pass writes. The excess is written past the end of the arena, with content taken verbatim from the file. The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-90177 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check pointer type for all atomic RMW paths Atomic RMW verification records an instruction pointer type only when the current destination is PTR_TO_ARENA. A second path can therefore reach the same instruction with an ordinary pointer without comparing it against the saved arena type. The post-verification fixup uses the saved type to rewrite the instruction to BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC for every path. Record the actual destination type for all atomic RMW paths so the existing mismatch check rejects incompatible uses of one instruction. 21 Oct
CVE-2025-40111 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Fix Use-after-free in validation Nodes stored in the validation duplicates hashtable come from an arena allocator that is cleared at the end of vmw_execbuf_process. All nodes are expected to be cleared in vmw_validation_drop_ht but this node escaped because its resource was destroyed prematurely. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-53031 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Validate node_id in arena_alloc_pages() arena_alloc_pages() accepts a plain int node_id and forwards it through the entire allocation chain without any bounds checking. Validate node_id before passing it down the allocation chain in arena_alloc_pages(). 19 Oct
CVE-2026-93045 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject arena frees below the arena base bpf_arena_free_pages() accepts scalar arena addresses. The runtime masks the address to the low 32 bits and reconstructs a full user address from the arena base before returning the range to the arena free tree. When the scalar value is below the low 32 bits of the arena base, full_uaddr falls below user_vm_start. The existing upper-end clipping then turns this into an out-of-range free-tree offset. A later allocation can reuse that offset and return an address below the arena mapping. Reject such frees before computing the clipped range. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89965 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvdimm/btt: reject an arena whose nfree is below the lane count The BTT info block's nfree field, the number of reserve free blocks, is read from the medium without validation. btt_freelist_init() and btt_rtt_init() size the per-lane freelist[] and rtt[] arrays by nfree, but the I/O path indexes them by the lane from nd_region_acquire_lane(), which is bounded by nd_region->num_lanes (ND_MAX_LANES), not by nfree. A crafted or foreign arena whose nfree is below the lane count makes freelist[lane]/rtt[lane] run past the allocation: an out-of-bounds write. btt.rst documents the nlanes = min(nfree, num_cpus) invariant, which the code does not currently honor: num_lanes is ND_MAX_LANES regardless of nfree. Reject an arena whose nfree is below num_lanes at discovery, before the per-lane arrays are allocated, enforcing that invariant. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-74354 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Take mmap_lock in zap_pages() zap_vma_range() requires the owning mm's mmap_lock to be held. Taking mmap_read_lock under arena->lock would AB-BA against arena_vm_close() and arena_map_mmap(), both of which run with mmap_write_lock held and then acquire arena->lock. Instead drop arena->lock, mmget_not_zero() the vma's mm, take mmap_read_lock, and re-resolve the vma via find_vma() since it may have been unmapped or replaced while waiting. Track processed vmls with a per-call generation in vml->zap_gen and serialize zap_pages() callers with a new arena->zap_mutex so concurrent callers on different uaddr ranges do not mark each other's vmls processed before the zap is done. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-74365 7.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvdimm/btt: Handle preemption in BTT lane acquisition BTT lanes serialize access to per-lane metadata and workspace state during BTT I/O. The btt-check unit test reports data mismatches during BTT writes due to a race in lane acquisition that can lead to silent data corruption. The existing lane model uses a spinlock together with a per-CPU recursion count. That recursion model stopped being valid after BTT lanes became preemptible: another task can run on the same CPU, observe a non-zero recursion count, bypass locking, and use the same lane concurrently. BTT lanes are also held across arena_write_bytes() calls. That path reaches nsio_rw_bytes(), which flushes writes with nvdimm_flush(). Some provider flush callbacks can sleep, making a spinlock the wrong primitive for the lane lifetime. Replace the spinlock-based recursion model with a dynamically allocated per-lane mutex array and take the lane lock unconditionally. Add might_sleep() to catch any future atomic-context caller. Found with the ndctl unit test btt-check.sh. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-8085 7.0 high 0.00% rockwellautomation, arena A security issue exists within Arena® Simulation due to a memory corruption vulnerability in the model.exe (Siman) component. CVE-2026-92449 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet `_gx_binres_pixelmap_table_load()` in the GUIX binary resource (theme) loader indexes the pixelmap table with a value read verbatim from the resource file and never bounds it against the table size. A crafted theme drives a write of up to roughly 256 KB past the end of the table. The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller, so the loader corrupts its own arena. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this. Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-6608 5.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A vulnerability was detected in lm-sys fastchat up to 0.2.36. Impacted is the function add_text of the component Arena Side-by-Side View Handler. The manipulation results in incorrect control flow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The root cause was fixed in commit 34eca62 for gradio_block_arena_named.py, but three other files were missed. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-98049 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: zero extend the result of an arena 32-bit cmpxchg bpf_convert_ctx_accesses() rewrites an atomic on an arena pointer from BPF_STX | BPF_ATOMIC to BPF_STX | BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC, and it runs before bpf_opt_subreg_zext_lo32_rnd_hi32(). That pass emits an explicit zero extension for a 32-bit cmpxchg even when bpf_jit_needs_zext() is false. This is done because on some architectures 32-bit cmpxchg requires explicit zero extension for the dst register. E.g. on x86-64 'lock cmpxchg' does not change the %eax if comparison is successful, while BPF semantics declare that each operation on a 32-bit register zero extends it's upper half. is_cmpxchg_insn() matches BPF_MODE == BPF_ATOMIC only, so an arena cmpxchg misses said zero extension adjustment. This patch adjusts is_cmpxchg_insn() to match BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC alongside BPF_ATOMIC. 21 Oct
CVE-2025-38060 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: copy_verifier_state() should copy 'loop_entry' field The bpf_verifier_state.loop_entry state should be copied by copy_verifier_state(). Otherwise, .loop_entry values from unrelated states would poison env->cur_state. Additionally, env->stack should not contain any states with .loop_entry != NULL. The states in env->stack are yet to be verified, while .loop_entry is set for states that reached an equivalent state. This means that env->cur_state->loop_entry should always be NULL after pop_stack(). See the selftest in the next commit for an example of the program that is not safe yet is accepted by verifier w/o this fix. CVE-2026-107448 3.4 low 0.00% no CPE yet Magic: The Gathering Arena (Windows/Steam client; 2026.59.30.12801.127931.6 and certain later 2026.60.x builds) passes a server-supplied URL from a home-screen carousel GoToExternalUrl action directly to the Windows shell via Application.OpenURL/ShellExecuteW without validating the URI scheme or domain. A hypothetical attacker able to control the carousel content delivered to clients can cause arbitrary registered URI-scheme handlers to be invoked on client hosts with no user interaction. For example, one might expect that the carousel content only has https: URIs, not ms-calculator: URIs. 10 Oct
CVE-2026-58064 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet The Redis protocol implementation in Apache bRPC allowed inline command parsing to allocate and copy the full connection buffer before a complete CRLF-terminated command was available. A remote attacker with access to a Redis-protocol bRPC service could send long inline inputs without a terminating CRLF to increase memory usage and CPU copy overhead, potentially causing denial of service. Root Cause: The Redis inline command parser allocated memory based on the current input buffer size and copied the entire buffer before determining the current inline command boundary. The existing redis_max_allocation_size limit was applied to RESP bulk strings and arrays, but not effectively to the inline command path before allocation. Affected Scenarios: Use Apache bRPC server with Redis protocol enabled and reachable by untrusted clients. How to Fix: 1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3363 . Note: The fix applies redis_max_allocation_size to Redis inline command lines and scans for CRLF before allocating parser arena memory. Inline command lines exceeding this limit are rejected. CVE-2026-93044 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Disallow interpreter fallback for arena-related insns Since the interpreter does not support the arena-related insns, interpreter fallback should not be allowed for these insns in core.c::__bpf_prog_select_runtime(). CVE-2026-92517 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, riscv: Fix extable handling for arena load_acquire emit_atomic_ld_st() returns 1 to have build_body() skip the zext after a sub-word load_acquire. The caller does "ret = ret ?: add_exception_handler(...)", which skips add_exception_handler() on any non-zero ret, so the extable entry is missing and a faulting PROBE_ATOMIC load_acquire oopses. REG_DONT_CLEAR_MARKER leaves rd stale on fault, and the verifier still thinks the load overwrote it, so a program can leak it through a map. Check ret >= 0 before calling add_exception_handler(), and pass rd for LOAD_ACQ so the fault zeroes rd like a PROBE_MEM load. Return ret unchanged for the zext skip. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-90342 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix mmap_lock deadlock on arena lock failure Reported by the Sashiko AI review. arena_vm_fault() returns VM_FAULT_RETRY when it can't take arena->spinlock, but it never took mmap_lock. The fault path assumes a VM_FAULT_RETRY handler already dropped mmap_lock and re-takes it on the retry, so mmap_lock gets taken twice and can deadlock: do_user_addr_fault() { fault = handle_mm_fault(...); // calls arena_vm_fault() if (fault & VM_FAULT_RETRY) goto retry; // re-locks mmap_lock mmap_read_unlock(mm); } Return VM_FAULT_SIGBUS instead, for two reasons: 1. We could keep VM_FAULT_RETRY, but then we'd have to drop the fault lock first and cap the retry ourselves, the way __folio_lock_or_retry() does. 2. A failed raw_res_spin_lock_irqsave() already means a possible deadlock was detected, so retrying just hits the same lock again. So returning VM_FAULT_RETRY here is overkill. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-90211 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, s390: Clear fetch destination on faulting arena atomic Same missing register clear as on riscv64. A RMW atomic on an arena pointer is converted to BPF_PROBE_ATOMIC and gets an exception table entry, but bpf_jit_probe_atomic_pre() only fills in the arena base and the probe offset, leaving probe->reg at the -1 that bpf_jit_probe_init() set, which bpf_jit_probe_post() writes into the entry and ex_handler_bpf() then reads back as "there is nothing to clear". That is right for a plain BPF_{ADD,AND,OR,XOR}, which only writes memory, but an RMW carrying BPF_FETCH also reads the old value into a register: src_reg for BPF_{ADD,AND,OR,XOR} | BPF_FETCH and BPF_XCHG, and r0 for BPF_CMPXCHG. So on a fault over an unmapped arena page the program resumes at the landing pad with whatever that register held before the atomic instead of the 0 that every other BPF_PROBE_* access delivers. Fill probe->reg in from bpf_atomic_load_reg(). Unlike x86-64 and arm64, s390x does not report arena violations from its exception handler, so there is no access direction to correct here, only the missing register clear. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-89905 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: BPF: Move arena register slot below TCC context Currently, the stack layout places the optional arena register slot above the tail call counter context. When arena_vm_start is dynamically enabled, it shifts the relative offset of the tcc_ptr slot within the stack frame, causing hardcoded tracking macros to mismatch and leading to memory misalignment or corruption potentially. To fix this, move the arena register save and restore sequences below the tail call counter context slots in both build_prologue() and the epilogue. Update __build_epilogue() to insert a proper offset decrement to safely skip the unneeded tcc_ptr reading block while accurately aligning with the relocated arena slot at the very bottom. With this patch, the tcc_ptr slot is always positioned at a fixed distance directly underneath the base callee-saved registers that is independent of whether the arena features are on. 19 Oct
