| CVE-2026-53942 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Conda Organization Infrastructure is a centralized location for infrastructure codes. Prior to commit 9c0f238, a GitHub Actions Pwn Request vulnerability appears to remain present in conda/conda. The affected workflow is .github/workflows/update.yml. It is triggered by issue_comment events containing @conda-bot render or @conda-bot recreate. For the render path, the workflow obtains the pull request head repository and branch from the PR API, checks out that PR-controlled repository/ref using secrets.SYNC_TOKEN, and then runs conda/actions/template-files@7f6830b1428a9bd47f0b068892c77eae95207037. The external template-files action reads its default configuration and templates from the checked-out working directory. In the confirmed finding, that action uses an unsandboxed Jinja2 environment to render attacker-controlled template content. This creates a Pwn Request chain in which an untrusted PR/comment path can reach template rendering in a privileged token context. This issue has been patched via commit 9c0f238. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-14504 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | sonatype, nexus_repository_manager | An authorization bypass in Nexus Repository 3's component upload API allowed a user with only read/browse privileges on a Swift, Terraform, or Conda hosted repository to upload arbitrary artifacts, bypassing the intended write-permission check. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2024-46062 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | conda, miniconda3 | Miniconda3 macOS installers before 23.11.0-1 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability when installed outside the user's home directory. During installation, world-writable files are created and executed with root privileges. This flaw allows a local low-privileged user to inject arbitrary commands, leading to code execution as the root user. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46699 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | conda-smithy is a tool for combining a conda recipe with configurations to build using freely hosted CI services into a single repository. Prior to version 3.61.0, a vulnerability in the conda-forge automated webservices allowed unintended write access to feedstock repositories through GitHub username takeover. The root cause is the use of mutable GitHub usernames as identifiers for repository invitation routing, rather than stable, immutable GitHub user IDs. Version 3.61.0 fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55422 | 4.6 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | conda-forge is a GitHub organization containing repositories of conda recipes. In commits 85748ad2368a and prior, two React components render externally-sourced strings directly as HTML using dangerouslySetInnerHTML, with no sanitization (the project has no DOMPurify or equivalent dependency). JSON files are produced automatically by the conda-forge autotick bot (regro/cf-scripts) while it processes every conda-forge feedstock and its upstream source artifacts. The error/status strings embed raw output captured from those processes (build logs, patch output, tracebacks). The website renders them verbatim as HTML. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. | Fri 23 Oct |
