CVE-2025-62725 8.9 high 14.0% no CPE yet Docker Compose trusts the path information embedded in remote OCI compose artifacts. When a layer includes the annotations com.docker.compose.extends or com.docker.compose.envfile, Compose joins the attacker‑supplied value from com.docker.compose.file/com.docker.compose.envfile with its local cache directory and writes the file there. This affects any platform or workflow that resolves remote OCI compose artifacts, Docker Desktop, standalone Compose binaries on Linux, CI/CD runners, cloud dev environments is affected. An attacker can escape the cache directory and overwrite arbitrary files on the machine running docker compose, even if the user only runs read‑only commands such as docker compose config or docker compose ps. This issue is fixed in v2.40.2. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-9164 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Docker Desktop Installer.exe is vulnerable to DLL hijacking due to insecure DLL search order. The installer searches for required DLLs in the user's Downloads folder before checking system directories, allowing local privilege escalation through malicious DLL placement. This issue affects Docker Desktop: through 4.48.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-10657 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In a hardened Docker environment, with Enhanced Container Isolation ( ECI https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/ ) enabled, an administrator can utilize the command restrictions feature https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/config/#command-restrictions to restrict commands that a container with a Docker socket mount may issue on that socket. Due to a software bug, the configuration to restrict commands was ignored when passed to ECI, allowing any command to be executed on the socket. This grants excessive privileges by permitting unrestricted access to powerful Docker commands. The vulnerability affects only Docker Desktop 4.46.0 users that have ECI enabled and are using the Docker socket command restrictions feature. In addition, since ECI restricts mounting the Docker socket into containers by default, it only affects containers which are explicitly allowed by the administrator to mount the Docker socket. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-106581 7.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet Before 4.92.0, Docker Desktop for Windows did not verify the signature of a package supplied to Docker Desktop Installer.exe install -package. An attacker able to provide a crafted package and convince a user to approve the Docker-signed UAC prompt could execute attacker-controlled installer actions as LocalSystem. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-33990 6.8 medium 0.00% docker, model_runner Docker Model Runner (DMR) is software used to manage, run, and deploy AI models using Docker. Prior to version 1.1.25, Docker Model Runner contains an SSRF vulnerability in its OCI registry token exchange flow. When pulling a model, Model Runner follows the realm URL from the registry's WWW-Authenticate header without validating the scheme, hostname, or IP range. A malicious OCI registry can set the realm to an internal URL (e.g., http://127.0.0.1:3000/), causing Model Runner running on the host to make arbitrary GET requests to internal services and reflect the full response body back to the caller. Additionally, the token exchange mechanism can relay data from internal services back to the attacker-controlled registry via the Authorization: Bearer header. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.25. For Docker Desktop users, enabling Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) blocks container access to Model Runner, preventing exploitation. However, if the Docker Model Runner is exposed to localhost over TCP in specific configurations, the vulnerability is still exploitable. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-114409 5.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Docker Desktop before version 4.97.0 could write third-party API keys and OAuth access tokens in cleartext to local application logs and diagnostics bundles due to insufficient IPC payload redaction. An attacker with read access to these files could obtain the credentials. These OAuth tokens are not Docker account tokens. Docker Desktop 4.94.0 and 4.95.0 addressed the known logging paths, but logs containing credentials can remain after upgrading. Docker Desktop 4.97.0 fixes the issue and includes cleanup of existing host logs and crash dumps. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2025-13743 2.4 low 0.00% docker, docker_desktop Docker Desktop diagnostics bundles were found to include expired Hub PATs in log output due to error object serialization. This poses a risk of leaking sensitive information in exported diagnostics, especially when access denied errors occurred. 14 Oct
