| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2021-3449exploit | 5.9 medium | 64.0% | openssl, debian, debian_linux, freebsd | An OpenSSL TLS server may crash if sent a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. If a TLSv1.2 renegotiation ClientHello omits the signature_algorithms extension (where it was present in the initial ClientHello), but includes a signature_algorithms_cert extension then a NULL pointer dereference will result, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack. A server is only vulnerable if it has TLSv1.2 and renegotiation enabled (which is the default configuration). OpenSSL TLS clients are not impacted by this issue. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 versions are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1j). | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-1967exploit | 7.5 high | 53.0% | openssl, debian, debian_linux, freebsd | Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f). | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-23383exploit ×2 | 9.8 critical | 5.0% | handlebarsjs, netapp, handlebars, e-series_performance_analyzer | The package handlebars before 4.7.7 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution when selecting certain compiling options to compile templates coming from an untrusted source. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2021-20231 | 9.8 critical | 4.0% | gnu, redhat, gnutls, enterprise_linux, fedora | A flaw was found in gnutls. A use after free issue in client sending key_share extension may lead to memory corruption and other consequences. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-27218 | 7.5 high | 4.0% | gnome, fedoraproject, glib, fedora, active_iq_unified_manager | An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-45061 | 7.5 high | 3.0% | python, fedoraproject, fedora, active_iq_unified_manager | An issue was discovered in Python before 3.11.1. An unnecessary quadratic algorithm exists in one path when processing some inputs to the IDNA (RFC 3490) decoder, such that a crafted, unreasonably long name being presented to the decoder could lead to a CPU denial of service. Hostnames are often supplied by remote servers that could be controlled by a malicious actor; in such a scenario, they could trigger excessive CPU consumption on the client attempting to make use of an attacker-supplied supposed hostname. For example, the attack payload could be placed in the Location header of an HTTP response with status code 302. A fix is planned in 3.11.1, 3.10.9, 3.9.16, 3.8.16, and 3.7.16. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-27219 | 7.5 high | 3.0% | gnome, fedoraproject, glib, fedora, active_iq_unified_manager | An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.6 and 2.67.x before 2.67.3. The function g_bytes_new has an integer overflow on 64-bit platforms due to an implicit cast from 64 bits to 32 bits. The overflow could potentially lead to memory corruption. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2021-3999 | 7.8 high | 1.0% | gnu, debian, glibc, debian_linux, e-series_performance_analyzer | A flaw was found in glibc. An off-by-one buffer overflow and underflow in getcwd() may lead to memory corruption when the size of the buffer is exactly 1. A local attacker who can control the input buffer and size passed to getcwd() in a setuid program could use this flaw to potentially execute arbitrary code and escalate their privileges on the system. | 14 Oct |
