CVE-2026-33906 7.2 high 0.00% ellanetworks, ella_core Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to version 1.7.0, the NetworkManager role was granted backup and restore permission. The restore endpoint accepted any valid SQLite file without verifying its contents. A NetworkManager could replace the production database with a tampered copy to escalate to Admin, gaining access to user management, audit logs, debug endpoints, and operator identity configuration that the role was explicitly denied. In version 1.7.0, backup and restore permissions have been removed from the NetworkManager role. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44473 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to 1.10.0, a radio with a valid NG Setup can send a forged PDUSessionResourceSetupResponse carrying any UE's AMF-UE-NGAP-ID. Ella Core does not verify the message arrived on the SCTP association bound to that UE's logical NG-connection, then creates a GTP tunnel towards that radio. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.10.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33904 6.5 medium 0.00% ellanetworks, ella_core Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to version 1.7.0, a deadlock in the AMF's SCTP notification handler causes the entire AMF control plane to hang until the process is restarted. An attacker with access to the N2 interface can cause Ella Core to hang, resulting in a denial of service for all subscribers. Version 1.7.0 adds deferred Radio cleanup in serveConn SCTP server so that every connection exit path removes the radio. Remove the stale-entry scan from SCTP Notification handling. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33907 6.5 medium 0.00% ellanetworks, ella_core Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Versions prior to 1.7.0 panic when processing Authentication Response and Authentication Failure NAS message missing IEs. An attacker able to send crafted NAS messages to Ella Core can crash the process, causing service disruption for all connected subscribers. No authentication is required. Version 1.7.0 added IE presence verification to NAS message handling. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33903 6.5 medium 0.00% ellanetworks, ella_core Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Versions prior to 1.7.0 panic when processing a specially crafted NGAP LocationReport message. An attacker able to send crafted NGAP messages to Ella Core can crash the process, causing service disruption for all connected subscribers. Version 1.7.0 adds guards in NGAP Location Report handler. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44475 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to 1.10.0, Ella Core does not verify the UE Security Capabilities received in NGAP PathSwitchRequest messages against its locally stored values. A malicious gNB can overwrite Ella Core's stored UE security capabilities for any UE with arbitrary values by sending a single crafted PathSwitchRequest. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.10.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44474 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet Ella Core is a 5G core designed for private networks. Prior to 1.10.0, Ella Core didn't enforce security rules on concurrent running of security procedures defined in TS 33.501 §6.9.5.1 — it could send a NAS Security Mode Command while an N2 handover was still pending (and vice versa). Concurrent Security Mode Command and N2 handover produce a KgNB mismatch between the UE and target gNB, causing the handover to fail. Requires a stalled gNB + re-registration race to trigger. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.10.0. Mon 26 Oct
