CVE-2026-73186 8.8 high — shortpixel, enable media replace Subscriber PHP Object Injection in Enable Media Replace <= 4.2.2 versions. 4 h ago
CVE-2025-9496 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Enable Media Replace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's file_modified shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-57722 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in ShortPixel Enable Media Replace allows Stored XSS. This issue affects Enable Media Replace: from n/a through 4.2.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-85655 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Enable Media Replace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to modify the post_content of any published post referencing the replaced media — including Administrator-owned posts — making changes immediately visible to unauthenticated visitors. The doReplaceQuery() method performs a database-wide search-and-replace across all posts containing the old media URL without any per-post capability check, meaning a single Author-triggered request can silently overwrite a large number of posts that WordPress's standard admin UI and REST API would otherwise forbid that user from editing. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-114422 unscored — unknown, enable media replace The Enable Media Replace WordPress plugin before 4.2.3 does not restrict the classes allowed when deserializing stored metadata during its media replace-and-update-links routine, allowing unauthenticated users to inject a PHP object that is instantiated when a user with upload access performs a routine media replacement, resulting in PHP Object Injection and local file inclusion of existing PHP/HTML files, which can be escalated to remote code execution where an attacker-influenced PHP or HTML file is present on the server. This is a regression of CVE-2023-4643, which was fixed in 4.1.3 and reintroduced in 4.1.4. 9 h ago
CVE-2025-39995 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: i2c: tc358743: Fix use-after-free bugs caused by orphan timer in probe The state->timer is a cyclic timer that schedules work_i2c_poll and delayed_work_enable_hotplug, while rearming itself. Using timer_delete() fails to guarantee the timer isn't still running when destroyed, similarly cancel_delayed_work() cannot ensure delayed_work_enable_hotplug has terminated if already executing. During probe failure after timer initialization, these may continue running as orphans and reference the already-freed tc358743_state object through tc358743_irq_poll_timer. The following is the trace captured by KASAN. BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __run_timer_base.part.0+0x7d7/0x8c0 Write of size 8 at addr ffff88800ded83c8 by task swapper/1/0 ... Replace timer_delete() with timer_delete_sync() and cancel_delayed_work() with cancel_delayed_work_sync() to ensure proper termination of timer and work items before resource cleanup. This bug was initially identified through static analysis. For reproduction and testing, I created a functional emulation of the tc358743 device via a kernel module and introduced faults through the debugfs interface. 19 Oct
