CVE-2026-49492exploit 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced before 0.8.28 opens external files and links from the preview through a shell and does not validate untrusted inputs taken from the markdown document - the diagram filename attribute, imported file paths, and the latex_engine code-chunk attribute. On Windows, a crafted markdown document can inject operating system commands that execute when the document is previewed. Fixed in 0.8.28 by passing these inputs as literal arguments instead of through a shell and validating them before use. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-9794exploit 5.3 medium 0.00% redhat, build_of_keycloak A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted SOAP requests to the SAML ECP (Security Assertion Markup Language Enhanced Client or Proxy) endpoint with varying client IDs. By observing distinct faultstrings in the responses, the attacker can determine the client's protocol type, leading to information disclosure. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-50733 8.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced before 0.8.28 parses WaveDrom diagrams by evaluating untrusted markdown content with eval(), allowing arbitrary JavaScript execution. The flaw affects every render path - the live preview (window.eval) and presentation mode plus HTML export (the bundled WaveDrom.ProcessAll()/eva() helpers) - and can also be triggered through a <script type="WaveDrom"> element injected via raw HTML in markdown. When a victim previews or exports a crafted markdown document, an attacker can execute arbitrary code, leading to arbitrary file write. Fixed in 0.8.28 by parsing with JSON5.parse() and sanitizing WaveDrom data scripts to inert strict JSON. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49360 7.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Recce is a data-validation toolkit for enhanced dbt (data build tool) PR review. Prior to version 1.50.0, OSS server deployments that expose the server to an untrusted network without authentication are vulnerable to unauthenticated SQL execution through the query run API. When Recce is configured with a DuckDB-backed project, an attacker can use DuckDB filesystem primitives to read and write files accessible to the Recce server process. The impact depends on how Recce is deployed, but may include disclosure of local files, tampering with Recce/dbt artifacts, modification of browser-served static files leading to stored XSS, and modification of application files if those paths are writable. If Recce is run as root, file access occurs with root privileges inside that host or container. This issue has been patched in Recce `v1.50.0`. Users should upgrade to Recce `v1.50.0` or later. The patch restricts unsafe file read/write behavior for DuckDB-backed query execution and hardens the affected query path. Other warehouse adapters have also been reviewed for similar exposure. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should avoid exposing `recce server` to the public internet or any untrusted network. Recommended mitigations include enabling authentication or placing Recce behind an authenticated reverse proxy/VPN, running Recce as a non-root user, using a read-only application filesystem where possible, and ensuring that sensitive files or credentials are not available to the Recce process. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-54037 6.5 medium 1.0% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2025-7105 added forkIpLimiter and forkUserLimiter rate limiters to POST /api/convos/fork to prevent rapid-fire conversation duplication. However, the POST /api/convos/duplicate endpoint — which is in the same file and performs the exact same expensive database operations — was not given any rate limiter. An authenticated user can bypass the CVE-2025-7105 fix by using /duplicate instead of /fork to exhaust server resources. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54030 9.3 critical 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.5, LibreChat's MCP OAuth implementation does not validate that the resource parameter from OAuth Protected Resource metadata (RFC 9728) matches the configured MCP server URL, allowing a malicious MCP server to steal access tokens intended for a legitimate server. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.5. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-90255 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: fix the SCO setup context lifetime hci_setup_sync() queues a conn_handle_t with a NULL destroy callback, so the context is only freed if hci_enhanced_setup_sync() actually runs. An entry that is cancelled instead is leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. The context also stores a bare hci_conn pointer, so the connection can be freed while the work is queued. The dequeue in hci_conn_del() does not cover it either, as it matches on entry->data == conn and entry->data is the wrapper here. Same problem as commit 2f5d635ad590 ("Bluetooth: hci_sync: hold conn in hci_connect_acl/le_sync() callbacks"). Hold the connection and release both from a destroy callback. The submission failure path drops both, since hci_cmd_sync_submit() does not call the destroy callback when it fails to queue. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-54525 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.28, Markdown Preview Enhanced preview-link handling passes a decoded, Markdown-controlled link target to a Windows file-opening helper that invokes child_process.exec with the start command. When a Windows user opens an untrusted Markdown file and clicks a crafted external or unsupported-scheme link, shell metacharacters in the decoded target are interpreted by cmd.exe as command separators, allowing an attacker-selected command to run with the privileges of the current VS Code user. The attack requires one normal preview-link click but does not require malicious workspace configuration, script execution to be enabled, or additional files. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.28. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-102055 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the cfmd process of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series and Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series platforms allows an unauthenticated adjacent-network attacker to execute arbitrary code as root or cause denial of service via a specific CFM Message sent to a configured down-MEP with enhanced CFM mode enabled. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-10657 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In a hardened Docker environment, with Enhanced Container Isolation ( ECI https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/ ) enabled, an administrator can utilize the command restrictions feature https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/config/#command-restrictions to restrict commands that a container with a Docker socket mount may issue on that socket. Due to a software bug, the configuration to restrict commands was ignored when passed to ECI, allowing any command to be executed on the socket. This grants excessive privileges by permitting unrestricted access to powerful Docker commands. The vulnerability affects only Docker Desktop 4.46.0 users that have ECI enabled and are using the Docker socket command restrictions feature. In addition, since ECI restricts mounting the Docker socket into containers by default, it only affects containers which are explicitly allowed by the administrator to mount the Docker socket. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-49493 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced before 0.8.28 parses Bitfield fenced code blocks with interpretJS(), which evaluates the block content as code via vm.runInNewContext(), allowing arbitrary code execution. A crafted markdown document containing a malicious bitfield code block executes attacker-controlled code on the server side when the document is rendered or exported. Fixed in 0.8.28 by parsing bitfield register definitions with JSON5.parse(), since they are purely data. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54566 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.29, Markdown Preview Enhanced evaluates repository-controlled .crossnote/config.js and .crossnote/parser.js files with vm.runInNewContext, which does not provide a security boundary from the Node.js host realm. Opening a Markdown file in a malicious repository automatically loads these files, and prototype-chain traversal can reach the host Function constructor and process object, allowing operating-system commands to execute as the victim account without further interaction. Both configuration evaluation and parser-hook evaluation are affected, and the attack does not depend on module-scoped require being available. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.29. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-102083 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet An Improper Resource Locking vulnerability in the UTM processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). When UTM WebFiltering is configured and the WebFiltering cloud server is unreachable, sustained HTTP traffic load may cause the UTM subsystem to crash and restart, which will lead to a complete service outage until the system has recovered. When category lookup requests cannot be completed, they accumulate internally. Under high load and specific timing conditions, an invalid internal state can occur during cleanup of pending WebFiltering lookups, resulting in a crash of the UTM process. This issue applies to both NextGeneration WebFiltering (NGWF) and Enhanced WebFiltering (EWF). This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series: * 23.2 versions from 23.2R2 before 23.2R2-S7.7; * 23.4 versions from 23.4R2 before 23.4R2-S8.13; * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5.5; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4; * 25.2 versions before 25.2R2-S1; * 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S3, 25.4R2. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-54036 8.1 high 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the GET /api/auth/2fa/enable endpoint can be called by an authenticated user (or attacker with a stolen session) even when 2FA is already fully enabled on the account. This endpoint overwrites the existing TOTP secret, generates new backup codes, and sets twoFactorEnabled to false — all without requiring any TOTP or backup code verification. An attacker with a valid session token can completely take over a victim's 2FA, locking the legitimate user out of their own two-factor authentication. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-31513 8.1 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_ecred_conn_req Syzbot reported a KASAN stack-out-of-bounds read in l2cap_build_cmd() that is triggered by a malformed Enhanced Credit Based Connection Request. The vulnerability stems from l2cap_ecred_conn_req(). The function allocates a local stack buffer (`pdu`) designed to hold a maximum of 5 Source Channel IDs (SCIDs), totaling 18 bytes. When an attacker sends a request with more than 5 SCIDs, the function calculates `rsp_len` based on this unvalidated `cmd_len` before checking if the number of SCIDs exceeds L2CAP_ECRED_MAX_CID. If the SCID count is too high, the function correctly jumps to the `response` label to reject the packet, but `rsp_len` retains the attacker's oversized value. Consequently, l2cap_send_cmd() is instructed to read past the end of the 18-byte `pdu` buffer, triggering a KASAN panic. Fix this by moving the assignment of `rsp_len` to after the `num_scid` boundary check. If the packet is rejected, `rsp_len` will safely remain 0, and the error response will only read the 8-byte base header from the stack. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-39738 7.8 high 0.00% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not allow relocation of partially dropped subvolumes [BUG] There is an internal report that balance triggered transaction abort, with the following call trace: item 85 key (594509824 169 0) itemoff 12599 itemsize 33 extent refs 1 gen 197740 flags 2 ref#0: tree block backref root 7 item 86 key (594558976 169 0) itemoff 12566 itemsize 33 extent refs 1 gen 197522 flags 2 ref#0: tree block backref root 7 ... [CAUSE] The cause is a little complex, firstly the extent tree indeed doesn't have the backref for 594526208. The extent tree only have the following two backrefs around that bytenr on-disk: item 65 key (594509824 METADATA_ITEM 0) itemoff 13880 itemsize 33 refs 1 gen 197740 flags TREE_BLOCK tree block skinny level 0 (176 0x7) tree block backref root CSUM_TREE item 66 key (594558976 METADATA_ITEM 0) itemoff 13847 itemsize 33 refs 1 gen 197522 flags TREE_BLOCK tree block skinny level 0 (176 0x7) tree block backref root CSUM_TREE But the such missing backref item is not an corruption on disk, as the offending delayed ref belongs to subvolume 934, and that subvolume is being dropped: item 0 key (934 ROOT_ITEM 198229) itemoff 15844 itemsize 439 generation 198229 root_dirid 256 bytenr 10741039104 byte_limit 0 bytes_used 345571328 last_snapshot 198229 flags 0x1000000000001(RDONLY) refs 0 drop_progress key (206324 EXTENT_DATA 2711650304) drop_level 2 level 2 generation_v2 198229 And that offending tree block 594526208 is inside the dropped range of that subvolume. That explains why there is no backref item for that bytenr and why btrfs check is not reporting anything wrong. But this also shows another problem, as btrfs will do all the orphan subvolume cleanup at a read-write mount. So half-dropped subvolume should not exist after an RW mount, and balance itself is also exclusive to subvolume cleanup, meaning we shouldn't hit a subvolume half-dropped during relocation. The root cause is, there is no orphan item for this subvolume. In fact there are 5 subvolumes from around 2021 that have the same problem. It looks like the original report has some older kernels running, and caused those zombie subvolumes. Thankfully upstream commit 8d488a8c7ba2 ("btrfs: fix subvolume/snapshot deletion not triggered on mount") has long fixed the bug. [ENHANCEMENT] For repairing such old fs, btrfs-progs will be enhanced. Considering how delayed the problem will show up (at run delayed ref time) and at that time we have to abort transaction already, it is too late. Instead here we reject any half-dropped subvolume for reloc tree at the earliest time, preventing confusion and extra time wasted on debugging similar bugs. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-14401 7.8 high 0.00% pdfsam, enhanced PDFsam Enhanced App Out-Of-Bounds Read Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of App objects. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-27260. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-14403 7.8 high 0.00% pdfsam, enhanced PDFsam Enhanced Launch Insufficient UI Warning Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the Launch action. The issue results from allowing the execution of dangerous script without user warning. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-27500. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-40104 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ixgbevf: fix mailbox API compatibility by negotiating supported features There was backward compatibility in the terms of mailbox API. Various drivers from various OSes supporting 10G adapters from Intel portfolio could easily negotiate mailbox API. This convention has been broken since introducing API 1.4. Commit 0062e7cc955e ("ixgbevf: add VF IPsec offload code") added support for IPSec which is specific only for the kernel ixgbe driver. None of the rest of the Intel 10G PF/VF drivers supports it. And actually lack of support was not included in the IPSec implementation - there were no such code paths. No possibility to negotiate support for the feature was introduced along with introduction of the feature itself. Commit 339f28964147 ("ixgbevf: Add support for new mailbox communication between PF and VF") increasing API version to 1.5 did the same - it introduced code supported specifically by the PF ESX driver. It altered API version for the VF driver in the same time not touching the version defined for the PF ixgbe driver. It led to additional discrepancies, as the code provided within API 1.6 cannot be supported for Linux ixgbe driver as it causes crashes. The issue was noticed some time ago and mitigated by Jake within the commit d0725312adf5 ("ixgbevf: stop attempting IPSEC offload on Mailbox API 1.5"). As a result we have regression for IPsec support and after increasing API to version 1.6 ixgbevf driver stopped to support ESX MBX. To fix this mess add new mailbox op asking PF driver about supported features. Basing on a response determine whether to set support for IPSec and ESX-specific enhanced mailbox. New mailbox op, for compatibility purposes, must be added within new API revision, as API version of OOT PF & VF drivers is already increased to 1.6 and doesn't incorporate features negotiate op. Features negotiation mechanism gives possibility to be extended with new features when needed in the future. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-68644 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Yealink RPS before 2025-06-27 allows unauthorized access to information, including AutoP URL addresses. This was fixed by deploying an enhanced authentication mechanism through a security update to all cloud instances. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-53525 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet WeeChat (Wee Enhanced Environment for Chat) is a free chat client. In versions 0.3.1 through 4.9.0, the WeeChat relay authentication uses non-constant-time string comparison functions (weechat_strcasecmp and strcmp) to verify password hashes and plaintext passwords. An attacker can exploit timing differences to extract the server-computed hash character by character, then authenticate using the correct hash without knowing the password. Version 4.9.1 fixes the issue. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-54702 7.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, the webview message handler in src/preview-provider.ts accepts an attacker-controlled command value and attacker-controlled args, constructs a command in the _crossnote namespace, and invokes vscode.commands.executeCommand without an allowlist or type validation. JavaScript already executing in the preview webview can use this bridge to invoke privileged extension commands, including file modification, code-chunk execution, export-tool execution, and arbitrary URL opening, with attacker-selected arguments. Exploitation requires a separate webview JavaScript execution path, such as the independently tracked .crossnote/head.html injection, but no further authorization check protects the extension-host command boundary. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-54040 7.1 high 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the POST /api/auth/2fa/backup/regenerate endpoint regenerates all 2FA backup codes without requiring any TOTP token or existing backup code verification. An attacker with a stolen session token can silently replace a victim's backup codes and use them to bypass 2FA login or disable 2FA entirely. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-14402 7.0 high 0.00% pdfsam, enhanced PDFsam Enhanced DOC File Insufficient UI Warning Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the processing of DOC files. The issue results from allowing the execution of dangerous script without user warning. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-27499. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-14404 7.0 high 0.00% pdfsam, enhanced PDFsam Enhanced XLS File Insufficient UI Warning Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the processing of XLS files. The issue results from allowing the execution of dangerous script without user warning. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-27498. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-54701 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, Markdown Preview Enhanced reads repository-controlled .crossnote/head.html content and passes it through resolvePathsInHeader before inserting it into the head of the preview webview document without removing executable content. Script-capable markup executes while the document loads, before the React application and DOMPurify initialize, and can access acquireVsCodeApi to send messages from the webview to the extension host. Opening a Markdown preview in a malicious repository is sufficient to trigger the injected content, and no additional click within the notification or preview is required. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-33990 6.8 medium 0.00% docker, model_runner Docker Model Runner (DMR) is software used to manage, run, and deploy AI models using Docker. Prior to version 1.1.25, Docker Model Runner contains an SSRF vulnerability in its OCI registry token exchange flow. When pulling a model, Model Runner follows the realm URL from the registry's WWW-Authenticate header without validating the scheme, hostname, or IP range. A malicious OCI registry can set the realm to an internal URL (e.g., http://127.0.0.1:3000/), causing Model Runner running on the host to make arbitrary GET requests to internal services and reflect the full response body back to the caller. Additionally, the token exchange mechanism can relay data from internal services back to the attacker-controlled registry via the Authorization: Bearer header. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.25. For Docker Desktop users, enabling Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) blocks container access to Model Runner, preventing exploitation. However, if the Docker Model Runner is exposed to localhost over TCP in specific configurations, the vulnerability is still exploitable. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-14405 6.8 medium 0.00% pdfsam, enhanced PDFsam Enhanced Uncontrolled Search Path Element Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows phyiscally-present attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. An attacker must first obtain the ability to mount a malicious drive onto the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the configuration of OpenSSL. The product loads an OpenSSL configuration file from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27867. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-54024 6.5 medium 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the fix for CVE-2024-11171 (commit bb58a2d0) added limits: { fileSize } to createMulterInstance() in the file upload routes. However, the POST /api/convos/import endpoint uses a separate multer instance that was never updated with the same limits configuration. Combined with the application-level size check being disabled by default (the CONVERSATION_IMPORT_MAX_FILE_SIZE_BYTES env var is commented out in .env.example), an authenticated user can upload arbitrarily large files to exhaust server disk space and memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54027 6.5 medium 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the POST /api/files/images endpoint allows any authenticated user to upload files into any agent's tool_resources (e.g., context, execute_code) without verifying ownership or EDIT permission on the target agent. A permission check was added to the POST /api/files route in a previous patch, but the image upload route was never updated with the same check. An attacker can simply use the image endpoint instead of the file endpoint to bypass the authorization entirely. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54029 6.5 medium 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, the DELETE /api/messages/:conversationId/:messageId endpoint allows any authenticated user to delete any other user's messages. The validateMessageReq middleware only validates that the conversationId belongs to the requesting user, but the handler calls deleteMessages({ messageId }) using only the messageId as the MongoDB filter — without adding a user constraint. An attacker provides their own valid conversationId (to pass validation) and the victim's messageId (to target deletion), resulting in permanent, irrecoverable message deletion. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-54033 6.5 medium 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, LibreChat allows users to configure custom OpenAI-compatible API endpoints by setting a baseURL. This URL is used to construct HTTP requests without any SSRF validation — no private IP check, no scheme restriction, no DNS pinning. An authenticated user can set baseURL to internal network addresses. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-53524 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WeeChat (Wee Enhanced Environment for Chat) is a free chat client. In versions 4.3.0 through 4.9.0, the WeeChat relay module's WebSocket permessage-deflate decompression function relay_websocket_inflate() has no upper bound on output size. An authenticated relay user can send a small compressed WebSocket frame (~100 bytes) that decompresses to gigabytes, exhausting all server memory and crashing the entire WeeChat process. The api protocol enables permessage-deflate and requires authentication before WebSocket upgrade. Version 4.9.1 patches the issue. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-54703 5.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Markdown Preview Enhanced is a Markdown preview extension for Visual Studio Code. Prior to 0.8.30, the _crossnote.updateMarkdown command in Markdown Preview Enhanced accepts an arbitrary URI and attacker-controlled content, then passes them to vscode.workspace.fs.writeFile without validating that the target is the Markdown file represented by the current preview. JavaScript already executing in the preview webview can invoke this command through the extension message bridge and write any file permitted by the VS Code user's operating-system privileges, including user configuration, startup, source, and build files. This file-write vulnerability requires a separate webview JavaScript execution path, such as the independently tracked head.html injection and blind command-dispatch weaknesses. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.30. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-39674 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: ufs-qcom: Fix ESI null pointer dereference ESI/MSI is a performance optimization feature that provides dedicated interrupts per MCQ hardware queue. This is optional feature and UFS MCQ should work with and without ESI feature. Commit e46a28cea29a ("scsi: ufs: qcom: Remove the MSI descriptor abuse") brings a regression in ESI (Enhanced System Interrupt) configuration that causes a null pointer dereference when Platform MSI allocation fails. The issue occurs in when platform_device_msi_init_and_alloc_irqs() in ufs_qcom_config_esi() fails (returns -EINVAL) but the current code uses __free() macro for automatic cleanup free MSI resources that were never successfully allocated. Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000008 Call trace: mutex_lock+0xc/0x54 (P) platform_device_msi_free_irqs_all+0x1c/0x40 ufs_qcom_config_esi+0x1d0/0x220 [ufs_qcom] ufshcd_config_mcq+0x28/0x104 ufshcd_init+0xa3c/0xf40 ufshcd_pltfrm_init+0x504/0x7d4 ufs_qcom_probe+0x20/0x58 [ufs_qcom] Fix by restructuring the ESI configuration to try MSI allocation first, before any other resource allocation and instead use explicit cleanup instead of __free() macro to avoid cleanup of unallocated resources. Tested on SM8750 platform with MCQ enabled, both with and without Platform ESI support. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-54025 5.4 medium 0.00% librechat LibreChat is an enhanced ChatGPT clone that supports multiple AI providers. Prior to 0.8.4-rc1, there is a vulnerability in LibreChat's markdown artifact preview pipeline. The marked library v15.0.12 does not HTML-escape double-quote characters in image alt text when a custom renderer falls through to the default renderer. LibreChat's generateMarkdownHtml function (in client/src/utils/markdown.ts) installs a custom image renderer that returns false for URLs passing the isSafeUrl allowlist check, which causes marked to fall back to its built-in renderer. That built-in renderer inserts the raw alt text into the alt="..." attribute without escaping double-quote characters. An attacker can craft an alt text such as " onload="payload to break out of the attribute and inject an arbitrary event handler. The resulting HTML is then assigned to document.getElementById('content').innerHTML inside the Sandpack preview iframe, causing the payload to execute in the victim's browser. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.8.4-rc1. Sun 25 Oct

CVE-2026-81039 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Bluetooth host pre-allocates a bt_conn object (a "reservation") from the fixed acl_conns[] pool for every connectable advertising set it starts, in le_adv_start_add_conn() in subsys/bluetooth/host/adv.c. When an incoming peripheral connection completes, find_pending_connect() in subsys/bluetooth/host/hci_core.c looked that reservation up using only the identity and the peer address, with a directed-then-undirected fallback, and had no knowledge of which advertising set actually terminated. With CONFIG_BT_EXT_ADV_MAX_ADV_SET > 1, where the LE Enhanced Connection Complete event is cached until the LE Advertising Set Terminated event identifies the set, this lookup can return the reservation belonging to a different, still-running advertising set. The defect is reachable over the air by any adjacent device. If an application runs two connectable extended advertising sets on the same identity — one undirected and one directed at a peer P (the common "directed reconnect to a bonded central while still accepting new centrals" pattern) — a remote initiator whose address maps to P connecting on the undirected set causes the directed set's reservation to be consumed instead. The initiator address is chosen freely by the remote device and is not authenticated at link establishment, so no bonding, pairing or prior relationship is required to trigger the mis-attribution. The undirected set's own reservation is then stranded: its BT_ADV_ENABLED flag has already been cleared, and le_adv_stop_free_conn() — the only path that returns a reservation to the pool — is reached only for sets that are still enabled, so bt_le_ext_adv_stop() returns early and the object is never released. Each occurrence permanently consumes one CONFIG_BT_MAX_CONN slot until bt_disable() or reboot. In application patterns that restart the directed advertising set after each disconnect, an attacker can repeat the sequence until the pool is exhausted, after which connectable advertising fails with -ENOMEM and the device can no longer accept connections. As a side effect the directed set keeps advertising without a reservation, so a genuine connection on it is dropped by bt_hci_disconnect(). The impact is availability only; no memory corruption or information disclosure results, and configurations with a single advertising set are unaffected. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-62794 3.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet GitHub Workflow Updater is a VS Code extension that automatically pins GitHub Actions to specific commits for enhanced security. Before 0.0.7, any provided Github token would be stored in plaintext in the editor configuration as json on disk, rather than through the more secure "securestorage" api. An attacker with read only access to your home directory could have read this token and used it to perform actions with that token. Update to 0.0.7. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-107449 3.4 low 0.00% no CPE yet linuxserver Heimdall through 2.8.3 applies its SafeUrlFetcher SSRF protection mechanism only to ItemController; the enhanced-application test and live-stats requests occur via SupportedApps::execute(), a GuzzleHttp client that lacks IP address restrictions. In some realistic installations, the POST /test_config (and GET /get_stats) endpoints are accessible through CSRF, and thus an unauthenticated attacker can force the server to send requests to arbitrary internal hosts and ports (including 169.254.169.254) and read a status/port oracle in addition to partial response data. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-114060 2.1 low 0.00% no CPE yet SvelteKit (@sveltejs/kit) before 3.0.0 contains an open redirect vulnerability in enhanced form actions (use:enhance) on routes accepting paths beginning with a double slash. Attackers can craft action paths starting with // that become protocol-relative URLs, causing non-redirect form results to navigate victims to attacker-controlled sites. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-98736 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: Lock parent access during enhanced SCO setup Bluetooth: hci_conn: Lock parent access during enhanced SCO setup hci_enhanced_setup_sync() runs on the request workqueue without the hci_dev_lock held by its caller when setup was queued. Its CVSD capability check and find_next_esco_param() dereference conn->parent while the receive workqueue can unlink and release that parent. The following interleaving can cause a use-after-free: hci_enhanced_setup_sync() hci_disconn_complete_evt() load conn->parent hci_dev_lock() hci_conn_del(ACL parent) unlink SCO child drop link's parent reference clear child->parent release ACL parent bt_link_release() kfree(parent) hci_dev_unlock() read parent->features[0][3] The reference held for the queued SCO child does not keep its ACL parent alive after unlinking. Commit 42de40abe25d ("Bluetooth: hci_conn: fix the SCO setup context lifetime") protects the child stored in the queued context, but leaves these parent accesses unprotected. With a 40 ms diagnostic delay after loading conn->parent, an instrumented kernel based on fd179f8a05be, which already contains 42de40abe25d, BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in hci_enhanced_setup_sync+0xda5/0xdf0 Read of size 1 at addr ffff888102204047 by task kworker/u17:0/93 Call Trace: hci_enhanced_setup_sync+0xda5/0xdf0 hci_cmd_sync_work+0x13c/0x290 process_one_work+0x6b4/0x10e0 Allocated by task 92: __hci_conn_add+0x304/0x1df0 hci_connect_acl+0x349/0x3e0 hci_connect_sco+0x3b/0x9a0 sco_sock_connect+0x475/0xca0 Freed by task 94: kfree+0x121/0x3c0 bt_link_release+0x79/0xa0 device_release+0xc8/0x240 kobject_put+0x14d/0x280 hci_conn_del+0x524/0xe30 hci_disconn_complete_evt+0x403/0x8c0 hci_event_packet+0x71b/0xb20 hci_rx_work+0x293/0x730 The accessed address is 71 bytes into the freed ACL parent, at its features[0][3] byte; the queued SCO child is a different object. The diagnostic preserves the loaded parent across the delay, matching the unmodified compiled capability check, and does not change the parent references or teardown path. Hold hci_dev_lock() across the codec switch, including every call to find_next_esco_param(), and release it on all selection errors. Keep configure_datapath_sync() outside the critical section because it waits for HCI events. Preserve parameter selection and existing return values. 21 Oct
