| CVE-2026-32871 | 10.0 critical | 1.0% | jlowin, fastmcp | FastMCP is a Pythonic way to build MCP servers and clients. Prior to version 3.2.0, the OpenAPIProvider in FastMCP exposes internal APIs to MCP clients by parsing OpenAPI specifications. The RequestDirector class is responsible for constructing HTTP requests to the backend service. A vulnerability exists in the _build_url() method. When an OpenAPI operation defines path parameters (e.g., /api/v1/users/{user_id}), the system directly substitutes parameter values into the URL template string without URL-encoding. Subsequently, urllib.parse.urljoin() resolves the final URL. Since urljoin() interprets ../ sequences as directory traversal, an attacker controlling a path parameter can perform path traversal attacks to escape the intended API prefix and access arbitrary backend endpoints. This results in authenticated SSRF, as requests are sent with the authorization headers configured in the MCP provider. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-58195 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Agentic-Flow is an AI agent orchestration platform. Prior to 2.0.14, agentic-flow MCP server tools in src/mcp/standalone-stdio.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/servers/claude-flow-sdk.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/servers/stdio-full.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/servers/http-streaming-updated.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/servers/http-sse.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/servers/poc-stdio.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/tools/agent/{execute,list,parallel}.ts, src/mcp/fastmcp/tools/swarm/orchestrate.ts, and src/mcp/fastmcp/tools/hooks/pretrain.ts interpolated attacker-influenceable tool parameters such as agent, task, name, language, and agentdb directly into shell command strings passed to execSync(), allowing arbitrary OS command execution with the privileges of the MCP server user. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.14. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62316 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Microsoft UFO open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.8, ufo/client/mcp/http_servers/linux_mcp_server.py binds a FastMCP streamable HTTP server to localhost:8010 but does not validate the Host, Origin, or Sec-Fetch-Site headers. An attacker-controlled web page can use DNS rebinding to reach the local /mcp endpoint, enumerate tool schemas through tools/list, and invoke execute_command with a valid UFO_MCP_API_KEY to read files or execute allowed operating system commands as the victim's user. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.8. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2025-66416 | 7.6 high | 1.0% | lfprojects, mcp_python_sdk | The MCP Python SDK, called `mcp` on PyPI, is a Python implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Prior to version 1.23.0, tThe Model Context Protocol (MCP) Python SDK does not enable DNS rebinding protection by default for HTTP-based servers. When an HTTP-based MCP server is run on localhost without authentication using FastMCP with streamable HTTP or SSE transport, and has not configured TransportSecuritySettings, a malicious website could exploit DNS rebinding to bypass same-origin policy restrictions and send requests to the local MCP server. This could allow an attacker to invoke tools or access resources exposed by the MCP server on behalf of the user in those limited circumstances. Note that running HTTP-based MCP servers locally without authentication is not recommended per MCP security best practices. This issue does not affect servers using stdio transport. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.23.0. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61546 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | AnkiMCP is an Anki addon that implements an MCP server, enabling AI assistants to interact with the Anki flashcard application. Prior to version 0.21.0, `anki_mcp_server/mcp_server.py` globally disables FastMCP DNS-rebinding protection through `TransportSecuritySettings` with `enable_dns_rebinding_protection=False`, including for the default local Streamable HTTP listener. The defaults in `anki_mcp_server/config.py` enable `http_enabled` on `127.0.0.1:3141`, with an empty `http_path` selecting the root endpoint. No bearer token, API key, session secret, strict `Host` allowlist or strict `Origin` allowlist is enforced before `initialize`, `tools/list` and `tools/call` reach MCP dispatch. A victim who visits a malicious web page while Anki and the listener are running can have browser requests rebound to loopback, allowing the attacker to `initialize` MCP, enumerate tools, read the local collection, and perform enabled non-destructive note/deck creation or updates. The attacker needs neither LAN position nor a local process. Available operations depend on enabled tool filters; destructive tools are hidden unless `enabled_destructive_tools` is opted into, limiting deletion-level impact but not the exposed read/write operations. The reported harness confirms real MCP tool dispatch with substituted Anki bridge responses rather than demonstrating destructive changes to a real collection. Disabling protection for tunnels/proxies also disables it for the normal loopback configuration. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.0. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59951 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The MCP Python SDK, called mcp on PyPI, is a Python implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP). From 1.8.0 until 1.30.0 and 2.2.0, stateful Streamable HTTP servers, including FastMCP, MCPServer, Server.streamable_http_app(), and StreamableHTTPSessionManager, retain session entries without an idle expiration or aggregate session-count limit. DELETE, refused opening requests, and completed sessions do not reliably discard their entries, and each entry can retain parsed initialize parameters. A client that can reach the endpoint can therefore create ordinary short requests that grow server memory without bound until restart. Stateless HTTP, stdio, and SSE transports are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.0 and 2.2.0. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62801 | 5.4 medium | 0.00% | jlowin, fastmcp | FastMCP is the standard framework for building MCP applications. Versions prior to 2.13.0, a command-injection vulnerability lets any attacker who can influence the server_name field of an MCP execute arbitrary OS commands on Windows hosts that run fastmcp install cursor. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.0. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62800 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | jlowin, fastmcp | FastMCP is the standard framework for building MCP applications. Versions prior to 2.13.0 have a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the OAuth client callback page (oauth_callback.py) where unescaped user-controlled values are inserted into the generated HTML, allowing arbitrary JavaScript execution in the callback server origin. The issue is fixed in version 2.13.0. | 8 Oct |
