CVE-2026-1961exploit 8.8 high 2.0% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. A remote attacker could exploit a command injection vulnerability in Foreman's WebSocket proxy implementation. This vulnerability arises from the system's use of unsanitized hostname values from compute resource providers when constructing shell commands. By operating a malicious compute resource server, an attacker could achieve remote code execution on the Foreman server when a user accesses VM VNC console functionality. This could lead to the compromise of sensitive credentials and the entire managed infrastructure. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-96658 8.8 high 1.0% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker with low-level read permissions to achieve arbitrary code execution on the underlying server. By manipulating the permitted methods list within the template rendering engine, an attacker can bypass the safemode sandbox isolation and execute unauthorized commands directly on the host system. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-12541 8.2 high 1.0% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. OS command injection vulnerabilities exist in the foreman-rake db:dump and db:import_dump tasks. The application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input in the destination parameter (during backups) and the file parameter (during imports) before passing them to a Ruby system() call for execution. An attacker with permissions to execute foreman-rake (e.g., via a restricted sudo configuration) can append malicious shell commands to the provided file paths. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-12540 8.2 high 1.0% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. A command injection vulnerability exists in the foreman-rake errors:fetch_log task. The request_id parameter is passed to an underlying system command (typically grep) without adequate shell neutralization. While the task is intended to fetch specific log entries, an attacker with sudo permissions to execute this rake task can inject shell metacharacters (such as ;, ", or |) to break out of the intended command and execute arbitrary code. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-10622 8.0 high 1.0% no CPE yet A flaw was found in Red Hat Satellite (Foreman component). This vulnerability allows an authenticated user with edit_settings permissions to achieve arbitrary command execution on the underlying operating system via insufficient server-side validation of command whitelisting. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-12542 7.8 high 1.0% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-tail utility is vulnerable to OS command injection due to the unsafe use of the eval command. The script takes user-supplied arguments and incorporates them directly into a string that is then executed by eval to expand file paths. Because the input is not sanitized or quoted, a local attacker can inject shell metacharacters (e.g., ;, &, |) to execute arbitrary system commands. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-96659 9.1 critical 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user with low-level Viewer permissions to cause unauthorized information disclosure by submitting requests to template preview endpoints. By exploiting this issue, the user can access sensitive data, such as host root passwords. Furthermore, under insecure system configurations where Safemode protections are disabled, the flaw may allow the user to execute arbitrary commands as the Foreman system account. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-12112 7.8 high 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in the foreman-mcp-server. A session management vulnerability in the MCP Server allows unauthenticated attackers to hijack active administrative sessions due to an improper cache of authenticated client connections, by trusting a non-secret session ID without re-validating authentication tokens and by logging all newly created session IDs to standard logs. This issue can result in privilege escalation and infrastructure-wide code execution. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-12544 7.7 high 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-rake initialization logic in /usr/share/foreman/config/settings.rb contains a vulnerable code pattern where configuration data is processed through two distinct executable layers. This creates a multi-stage execution chain that allows for both Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) and insecure deserialization. This vulnerability can lead to remote code execution, total infrastructure compromise and supply chain risk. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-12423 7.5 high 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw was found in Foreman. The Red Hat Satellite /unattended/provision API endpoint is vulnerable to an authentication bypass due to a semantic logic flaw in host_verifier.rb. The application verifies the database state of a provisioning token rather than its actual presence in the incoming HTTP request. Because a host actively undergoing provisioning has an unexpired token in the database, the server's valid_host_token? method evaluates to true, granting access to the kickstart template even if the requester provides no token at all in the URL. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-107193 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A flaw has been found in **permission filters** in the **foreman** package. The API loads a filter by its identifier and does not apply the search limit on the caller's permission. A low-privileged network attacker or user must already be allowed to delete filters for one role only. They can delete filters that belong to other unlocked roles. Those other roles then lose the access the deleted filters had granted. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-107203 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet An **incorrect authorization** flaw has been found in **network interface handling** in the **Foreman** package. The domain and subnet interface API checks only that the caller holds a host permission. It does not apply the search limit on that permission, so the request is answered from every interface on the domain or subnet. A low-privileged network attacker or user must already be allowed to view some hosts and to view a domain or subnet shared with other hosts. They can request that domain or subnet's interfaces. The response includes interface records of hosts they are not allowed to view. If the attacker or user is also allowed to edit some hosts, they can submit a change to one of those interfaces. The interface is then saved with that change. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-13316 4.4 medium 0.00% redhat, theforeman, satellite, foreman A flaw has been found in foreman when HTTP parameters are modified in http_proxies_controller and http_proxy files. Attackers can perform an SSRF attack and steal cloud metadata service on AWS/GCP/Azure environment through foreman component. Sun 25 Oct
