| CVE-2025-12866 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | EIP Plus developed by Hundred Plus has a Weak Password Recovery Mechanism vulnerability, allowing unauthenticated remote attacker to predict or brute-force the 'forgot password' link, thereby successfully resetting any user's password. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-86055 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Part-DB is an open source inventory management system for electronic components. Prior to version 2.13.3, Part-DB builds the absolute URL of the password-reset link it emails to a user from the client-supplied HTTP Host header, with no trusted-host validation. An unauthenticated attacker who submits a forgot-password request for a known account while sending a spoofed Host header causes Part-DB to email that account a reset link whose hostname is attacker-controlled, while still embedding the genuine reset token. When the victim opens the link (or an automated inbound mail-security scanner dereferences it), the valid token is disclosed to the attacker, who replays it against the real instance to set a new password and take over the account. Because the seeded admin account can be targeted, this yields full pre-authentication administrative account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 2.13.3. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-34255 | 6.9 medium | 1.0% | dlink, nuclias_connect | D-Link Nuclias Connect firmware versions <= 1.3.1.4 contain an observable response discrepancy vulnerability. The application's 'Forgot Password' endpoint returns distinct JSON responses depending on whether the supplied email address is associated with an existing account. Because the responses differ in the `data.exist` boolean value, an unauthenticated remote attacker can enumerate valid email addresses/accounts on the server. NOTE: D-Link states that a fix is under development. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2025-12325 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | mayurik, best_salon_management_system | A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Best Salon Management System 1.0. This affects an unknown part of the file /panel/forgot-password.php. The manipulation of the argument email leads to sql injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61451 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Grav API plugin (grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.4 does not validate the origin of the client-supplied admin_base_url field in the POST /api/v1/auth/forgot-password endpoint. The sanitizeHttpUrl() function only checks that the URL scheme is http/https and never verifies the host against the server's own origin, so an attacker can supply an arbitrary host. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker can cause the password reset email sent to a victim to contain a reset link pointing at an attacker-controlled server; when the victim follows the link, the valid reset token is disclosed to the attacker, enabling full account takeover. The vulnerable base URL can also be influenced via the Referer or Origin headers. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64829 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Question2Answer through 1.8.8 contains a session invalidation vulnerability that allows attackers with a previously obtained remember-me cookie to retain authenticated access by exploiting the forgot-password reset flow's failure to clear the sessioncode field in qa-include/app/users-edit.php. While the normal password-change flow in qa-include/pages/account.php explicitly clears the sessioncode to invalidate persistent qa_session cookies, the forgot-password handler qa_finish_reset_user() omits this step, allowing any valid persistent cookie issued before the reset to continue authenticating the account after the password reset completes. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-64526 | 6.9 medium | 0.00% | strapi | Strapi is an open source headless content management system. In Strapi versions prior to 5.45.0, the rate-limit middleware in the users-permissions plugin derived its rate-limit key in part from `ctx.request.body.email`, including on routes whose body schema does not contain an `email` field (`/auth/local`, `/auth/reset-password`, `/auth/change-password`). An unauthenticated attacker could include an arbitrary `email` value in the request body to obtain a fresh rate-limit key per request, effectively bypassing per-IP throttling on those routes and enabling high-volume credential brute-force, password-reset code brute-force, and credential-stuffing attempts. The rate-limit key was constructed as `${userIdentifier}:${requestPath}:${ctx.request.ip}`, where `userIdentifier = ctx.request.body.email`. On routes that legitimately use email as their identifier (e.g. `/auth/forgot-password`, `/auth/local/register`), this scoping is correct. On routes that use a different identifier (`identifier` for login, `code` for password reset, `currentPassword` for password change), the email field was not part of the route contract, but the middleware still incorporated it into the key, allowing a caller to rotate the value and obtain a unique key on every request. The patch in version 5.45.0 maintains an allow-list of routes that legitimately key on the email field and excludes that key component on every other route the middleware is mounted on. OAuth callback paths (`/connect/*`) are treated identifier-less. On routes outside the allow-list, the middleware now falls back to a fixed identifier-less key, ensuring per-IP throttling remains effective even when the request body is attacker-controlled. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108806 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability has been found in krupalshah EmployeeRecruitmentSystem up to 922ff6d208278282e7c8e36d70d9ae356adec9fe. Affected by this issue is the function mysql_query of the file source/authprocessing.php of the component Forgot Password Handler. Such manipulation of the argument fpemail leads to sql injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-11053 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | phpgurukul, small_crm | A weakness has been identified in PHPGurukul Small CRM 4.0. This affects an unknown function of the file /forgot-password.php. Executing manipulation of the argument email can lead to sql injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2025-11599 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | campcodes, online_apartment_visitor_management_system | A weakness has been identified in Campcodes Online Apartment Visitor Management System 1.0. | CVE-2026-44306 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Statamic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to 5.73.21 and 6.15.0, responses from the forgot password forms hinted at whether an account existed for a given email address. An unauthenticated attacker could use this to enumerate valid users, which can aid in follow-up credential-based attacks. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.73.21 and 6.15.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2023-27464 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | mendix, forgot_password | A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Forgot Password (Mendix 7 compatible) (All versions < V3.7.1), Mendix Forgot Password (Mendix 8 compatible) (All versions < V4.1.1), Mendix Forgot Password (Mendix 9 compatible) (All versions < V5.1.1). The affected versions of the module contain an observable response discrepancy issue that could allow an attacker to retrieve sensitive information. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64635 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Improper handling of the returnUrl parameter in the Forgot Password function of Veeam Service Provider Console allows an unauthenticated attacker to control the domain of the generated password reset link. When the targeted user clicks the link delivered by email, the reset code is transmitted to an attacker-controlled host, allowing the attacker to take over the account. | 23 Oct |
