CVE-2026-42608 8.8 high 1.0% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, there is a Path Traversal vulnerability within the FormFlash core component. By manipulating the session_id (passed as __form-flash-id in POST requests), an unauthenticated attacker can traverse the filesystem to create arbitrary directories and write an index.yaml file containing attacker-controlled data. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized modification of application behavior, potential data integrity issues, and service disruption in production environments. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58655 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The bundled Grav Flex Objects plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-flex-objects) before 1.4.0 contains a stored server-side template injection vulnerability. When rendering dynamic collection or object titles, the plugin passes user-controlled frontmatter values (page.header.flex.collection.title or page.header.flex.object.title) to Twig's template_from_string(), causing them to be evaluated as Twig code rather than treated as text. This path bypasses Grav's Security::cleanDangerousTwig() sanitization. An attacker who can control the title frontmatter of a publicly reachable Flex Objects page can achieve arbitrary Twig execution and escalate to remote command execution via access to internal Grav services such as the scheduler. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-75574 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The Grav Email plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-email) before 4.2.2 renders page-editor-controlled Email action parameters as unsandboxed Twig templates. An authenticated remote user with only api.access and api.pages.write permissions can place a Twig expression in header.form.process.email.body, publish the page, and submit the form to execute an arbitrary operating-system command as the account running PHP. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-59193 6.9 medium 1.0% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0, an authenticated admin.super user can crash Grav or fill the disk by uploading a specially crafted ZIP archive through the Direct Install tool because Installer::unZip calls ZipArchive::extractTo without limits on uncompressed size, entry count, or directory depth. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-61457 5.3 medium 1.0% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.3 contains a file upload extension bypass in the API media controller. HandlesMediaUploads::validateFileExtension() inspects only the final file extension via pathinfo($filename, PATHINFO_EXTENSION), so a user with api.media.write permission can upload a file with a double extension such as shell.php.jpg to bypass the dangerous extensions blocklist. The web server may then execute the file as PHP, resulting in remote code execution. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-75832 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api, bundled with Grav 2.0) before version 1.0.14 (fixed in 1.0.15) contains a missing authorization vulnerability in BlueprintPathResolver::resolveUserScope(). The method gates the users/<name> scope on the account's raw super-admin ACL flag (access.api.super) instead of validating the presented API key's actual scope. An attacker holding an API key scoped only to api.media.write minted on a super-admin account can bypass the authorization check and, via POST /blueprint-upload or GET /blueprint-files, write a file into another user's scope (in the shared user/accounts/ directory, constrained to image extensions by assertSafeExtension()) and browse that scope's file listing, despite the key not being granted api.users.write. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-75835 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.14 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in userPassesAuthorize() (AbstractApiController.php). The function fails to consult the calling request's API key scopes, relying instead on the account's raw super-admin flag and ACL grants. As a result, an authenticated attacker holding a scoped API key minted on a privileged account can bypass their declared scope restrictions to access authorize-gated UI metadata and item definitions (sidebar/menubar/widget items and users-list columns/row-actions/filter-tabs) that their key scope should deny, resulting in information disclosure. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-72699 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav Login plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-login) before 3.9.1 is vulnerable to email address enumeration. The register() method in classes/Login.php throws a distinct exception (EMAIL_NOT_AVAILABLE) when a submitted email address already belongs to an existing account, while allowing registration to proceed otherwise. Because the registration endpoint has no rate limiting, an attacker can enumerate which email addresses have accounts on the site, one guess per request. 12 Oct
CVE-2025-66844 9.1 critical 0.00% getgrav, grav In grav <1.7.49.5, a SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vector may be triggered via Twig templates when page content is processed by Twig and the configuration allows undefined PHP functions to be registered Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-42611 8.9 high 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, a low-privileged (with the ability to create a page) user can cause XSS with the injection of svg element. The XSS can further be escalated to dump the entire system information available under /admin/config/info whenever a Super Admin visits the page; which can further be chained with the use of admin-nonce to do a complete server compromise (RCE). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42843 8.8 high 0.00% getgrav, grav-plugin-api Grav API Plugin is a RESTful API for Grav CMS that provides full headless access to your site's content, media, configuration, users, and system management. Prior to 1.0.0-beta.15, an insecure direct object reference and logic flaw in the Grav API plugin (UsersController::update) allows any authenticated user with basic API access (api.access) to modify their own permission configuration. An attacker can exploit this to escalate their privileges to Super Administrator (admin.super and api.super), leading to full system compromise and potential RCE. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.0-beta.15. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42844 8.7 high 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. In Grav 2.0.0-beta.2, a low-privileged authenticated API user with api.media.write can abuse /api/v1/blueprint-upload to write an arbitrary YAML file into user/accounts/, then log in as the newly created account with api.super privileges. This results in full administrative compromise of the Grav API. This vulnerability is fixed in API 1.0.0-beta.17. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-61454 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav Admin2 plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-admin2) before 2.0.4 embeds a global JavaScript variable window.__GRAV_CONFIG__ in the Admin2 SPA bootstrap page at /grav/admin (and its subroutes). This object is returned in every unauthenticated response and discloses the server URL, API prefix, admin base path, runtime environment type, and exact Grav and Admin2 version numbers, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to fingerprint the deployment and select version-specific exploits without reconnaissance. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-75836 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api, bundled with Grav's admin-next/API stack) before 1.0.14 fails to enforce the authorize requirement in MenubarController::executeAction(). While the GET /menubar/items listing endpoint correctly filters menubar items via userPassesAuthorize(), the POST /api/v1/menubar/actions/{plugin}/{action} endpoint only checks the baseline api.access permission and never evaluates the authorize field a plugin registered for that action. Any authenticated caller with api.access can therefore invoke a privileged menubar action directly, bypassing the intended authorization. No plugin bundled with core Grav currently registers a privileged authorize handler, so on a stock install the impact is latent; the flaw affects any first- or third-party plugin relying on the documented authorize semantics. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-72700 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The getgrav/grav-plugin-login Composer plugin before 3.9.1 (used by Grav) compares password reset and account activation tokens using a non-constant-time === string comparison instead of hash_equals() in classes/Controller.php (taskReset()) and login.php (activation handler). Because the token-submission endpoint (taskReset) also lacks rate limiting, an attacker could in principle send repeated token guesses against a known username and use the timing differences to attempt to recover a valid token, though the vendor rates the practical exploitability as low and no end-to-end network exploit has been demonstrated. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-62231 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.6 contains an authorization bypass: API keys can be created with a restricted scopes array, but the ApiKeyAuthenticator class never reads or enforces these scopes. It loads and returns the owning user's full account object, so a key created with limited scopes (e.g. read-only) can perform any write, delete, or administrative operation the owning user is authorized for. Fixed in 1.0.6. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-75833 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api, bundled with Grav 2.0's admin-next/API stack) before version 1.0.14 contains an open redirect weakness in SsoController::sanitizeReturnTo(). The function rejects a literal '//' prefix but does not account for browsers normalizing backslashes to slashes in special (http/https) schemes, so a returnTo value such as '/\evil.com' passes the guard and is later resolved by the browser as the protocol-relative URL '//evil.com'. Following a legitimate OAuth login flow, an attacker-supplied returnTo parameter could redirect an authenticated victim to an attacker-controlled site for post-login phishing. Full browser-side exploitability depends on the admin-next SPA's client-side oauth-callback handler and was not independently verified by the reporter. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-62386 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.0-rc.16 accepts JWT access tokens through the ?token= URL query parameter on every API route (JwtAuthenticator::extractBearerToken fallback). Because tokens are embedded in URLs, they are logged verbatim in web server access logs, leaked via the Referer header, stored in browser history, and captured by upstream proxy and CDN logs, exposing valid admin access tokens. A leaked token grants unauthorized API access, including reading configuration and user data, creating admin accounts, modifying system settings, and deleting pages. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-42609 8.1 high 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, a business logic vulnerability in the Grav Admin Panel allows a low-privileged user (with only user creation permissions) to overwrite existing accounts, including the primary administrator. By creating a new user with a username that already exists, the system updates the existing account's metadata and permissions instead of rejecting the request. This leads to a Denial of Service (DoS) on administrative functions and Privilege De-escalation of the root account. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44738 7.7 high 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-rc.2, the Twig sandbox allow-list permits any user with the admin.pages role to call config.toArray() from within a page body, dumping the entire merged site configuration — including all plugin secrets (SMTP passwords, AWS keys, OAuth client secrets, API tokens) — into the rendered HTML. No administrator privileges are required. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-rc.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-62387 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.0-rc.16 shipped Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * as its default CORS configuration on all responses, including authenticated endpoints and preflight (OPTIONS) responses. Because the plugin accepts credentials via the Authorization and X-API-Token headers (set programmatically by JavaScript rather than via cookies), an attacker who obtains a valid access token (e.g., via log leakage, Referer headers, browser history, or network capture) can issue fully authenticated cross-origin requests from any malicious website to read sensitive data and perform write operations as the token's user. Fixed in 1.0.0-rc.16. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-65896 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav API Plugin (Composer package getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.10 fails to properly validate the slug field in the POST /pages/{route}/move endpoint. PagesController::move() sanitizes the slug only with ltrim($body['slug'], '.'), which strips leading periods but does not neutralize '/' or '..' segments. An authenticated API caller with the api.pages.write permission can supply path traversal sequences (e.g., 01.home/../../../pwned) to move an entire page directory (content and media) to an arbitrary writable location outside user/pages/, including outside the Grav installation. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-69087 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav form plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-form) before 9.1.13 contains an open redirect vulnerability. Since v9.1.11, the redirect process action evaluates user-supplied form data inside Twig expressions, and Grav::redirect() accepts external URLs without origin validation. When a form blueprint defines a redirect target such as redirect: "{{ form.value('next') }}" using an attacker-controllable field, an unauthenticated form submitter can supply a value like https://evil.com to cause a 302 redirect to an arbitrary external site, enabling phishing. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-75830 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet grav-plugin-api (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) versions >= 1.0.0-beta.10 and <= 1.0.14 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the PagesController::batchCopy() method. An incomplete fix for GHSA-qjq4-jp55-4mx2 left the user-controlled 'suffix' parameter (via POST /api/v1/pages/batch) unvalidated. An authenticated user with the api.pages.write permission (editor-level, not super-admin) can supply path traversal sequences (e.g. /../../../) in the suffix parameter to escape the intended user/pages/ directory and write attacker-controlled page content and page media to arbitrary filesystem locations writable by the web server process. The vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.15. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-42841 6.9 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, an authenticated user with page editing permissions can inject an executable JavaScript event-handler attribute into rendered image HTML through Grav's Markdown media action syntax. The issue is caused by Markdown image query parameters being converted into callable media actions. The public attribute() media method can be reached this way, allowing an editor to set an arbitrary HTML attribute name and value on the generated image element. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-61452 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 2.0.4 contains an improper session invalidation vulnerability where JWT access tokens are issued without a jti (JWT ID) claim and therefore cannot be revoked server-side. Unlike refresh tokens, access tokens remain valid for their full lifetime (default 1 hour) regardless of logout, password change, new token issuance, or account disablement. An attacker who has stolen an access token retains full API access until the token naturally expires. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-42610 6.5 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, a low-privileged user (EX: Content Editor with only pages.update permissions) can bypass the existing Twig sandbox restrictions by utilizing the grav['accounts'] service. Attacker can programmatically load administrative user objects and extract sensitive data, including Bcrypt password hashes and the security salt. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42612 5.4 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.2, a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in getgrav/grav allows publisher-level accounts to execute arbitrary JavaScript. The issue arises from a blacklist bypass in the detectXss() function when handling unquoted HTML event attributes. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-66843 5.4 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav grav before v1.7.49.5 has a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (Stored XSS) vulnerability in the page editing functionality. An authenticated low-privileged user with permission to edit content can inject malicious JavaScript payloads into editable fields. The payload is stored on the server and later executed when any other user views or edits the affected page. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-61456 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.3 fails to sanitize SVG files uploaded through the POST /api/v1/media endpoint. The HandlesMediaUploads::processUploadedFile() method validates only the file extension and never invokes Security::sanitizeSVG(), so an authenticated attacker with the api.media.write permission can upload an SVG containing arbitrary JavaScript. The file is stored unmodified and served with Content-Type: image/svg+xml; when an administrator opens it in a browser (directly or via <object>/<iframe>), the embedded script executes in their session context, enabling cookie theft and session hijacking. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2020-37256 5.1 medium 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav before 1.6.30 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Admin plugin page editor default security configuration. Privileged users with page editing capabilities can inject malicious scripts to execute arbitrary code and install malicious plugins for system access. 8 Oct
