CVE-2013-4786exploit ×3 7.5 high 98.0% oracle, intel, fujitsu_m10_firmware, intelligent_platform_management_interface The IPMI 2.0 specification supports RMCP+ Authenticated Key-Exchange Protocol (RAKP) authentication, which allows remote attackers to obtain password hashes and conduct offline password guessing attacks by obtaining the HMAC from a RAKP message 2 response from a BMC. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-23005exploit 5.5 medium 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/fpu: Clear XSTATE_BV[i] in guest XSAVE state whenever XFD[i]=1 When loading guest XSAVE state via KVM_SET_XSAVE, and when updating XFD in response to a guest WRMSR, clear XFD-disabled features in the saved (or to be restored) XSTATE_BV to ensure KVM doesn't attempt to load state for features that are disabled via the guest's XFD. Because the kernel executes XRSTOR with the guest's XFD, saving XSTATE_BV[i]=1 with XFD[i]=1 will cause XRSTOR to #NM and panic the kernel. E.g. if fpu_update_guest_xfd() sets XFD without clearing XSTATE_BV: ------------[ cut here ]------------ WARNING: arch/x86/kernel/traps.c:1524 at exc_device_not_available+0x101/0x110, CPU#29: amx_test/848 Modules linked in: kvm_intel kvm irqbypass CPU: 29 UID: 1000 PID: 848 Comm: amx_test Not tainted 6.19.0-rc2-ffa07f7fd437-x86_amx_nm_xfd_non_init-vm #171 NONE Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 RIP: 0010:exc_device_not_available+0x101/0x110 Call Trace: <TASK> asm_exc_device_not_available+0x1a/0x20 RIP: 0010:restore_fpregs_from_fpstate+0x36/0x90 switch_fpu_return+0x4a/0xb0 kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x1245/0x1e40 [kvm] kvm_vcpu_ioctl+0x2c3/0x8f0 [kvm] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x8f/0xd0 do_syscall_64+0x62/0x940 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 </TASK> ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- This can happen if the guest executes WRMSR(MSR_IA32_XFD) to set XFD[18] = 1, and a host IRQ triggers kernel_fpu_begin() prior to the vmexit handler's call to fpu_update_guest_xfd(). and if userspace stuffs XSTATE_BV[i]=1 via KVM_SET_XSAVE: ------------[ cut here ]------------ WARNING: arch/x86/kernel/traps.c:1524 at exc_device_not_available+0x101/0x110, CPU#14: amx_test/867 Modules linked in: kvm_intel kvm irqbypass CPU: 14 UID: 1000 PID: 867 Comm: amx_test Not tainted 6.19.0-rc2-2dace9faccd6-x86_amx_nm_xfd_non_init-vm #168 NONE Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 RIP: 0010:exc_device_not_available+0x101/0x110 Call Trace: <TASK> asm_exc_device_not_available+0x1a/0x20 RIP: 0010:restore_fpregs_from_fpstate+0x36/0x90 fpu_swap_kvm_fpstate+0x6b/0x120 kvm_load_guest_fpu+0x30/0x80 [kvm] kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x85/0x1e40 [kvm] kvm_vcpu_ioctl+0x2c3/0x8f0 [kvm] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x8f/0xd0 do_syscall_64+0x62/0x940 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 </TASK> ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- The new behavior is consistent with the AMX architecture. Per Intel's SDM, XSAVE saves XSTATE_BV as '0' for components that are disabled via XFD (and non-compacted XSAVE saves the initial configuration of the state component): If XSAVE, XSAVEC, XSAVEOPT, or XSAVES is saving the state component i, the instruction does not generate #NM when XCR0[i] = IA32_XFD[i] = 1; instead, it operates as if XINUSE[i] = 0 (and the state component was in its initial state): it saves bit i of XSTATE_BV field of the XSAVE header as 0; in addition, XSAVE saves the initial configuration of the state component (the other instructions do not save state component i). Alternatively, KVM could always do XRSTOR with XFD=0, e.g. by using a constant XFD based on the set of enabled features when XSAVEing for a struct fpu_guest. However, having XSTATE_BV[i]=1 for XFD-disabled features can only happen in the above interrupt case, or in similar scenarios involving preemption on preemptible kernels, because fpu_swap_kvm_fpstate()'s call to save_fpregs_to_fpstate() saves the outgoing FPU state with the current XFD; and that is (on all but the first WRMSR to XFD) the guest XFD. Therefore, XFD can only go out of sync with XSTATE_BV in the above interrupt case, or in similar scenarios involving preemption on preemptible kernels, and it we can consider it (de facto) part of KVM ABI that KVM_GET_XSAVE returns XSTATE_BV[i]=0 for XFD-disabled features. CVE-2020-26140 6.5 medium 3.0% alfa, siemens, awus036h_firmware, scalance_w1748-1_firmware, scalance_w1750d_firmware An issue was discovered in the ALFA Windows 10 driver 6.1316.1209 for AWUS036H. The WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 implementations accept plaintext frames in a protected Wi-Fi network. An adversary can abuse this to inject arbitrary data frames independent of the network configuration. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-45898 9.8 critical 1.0% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/iwcm: Fix workqueue list corruption by removing work_list The commit e1168f0 ("RDMA/iwcm: Simplify cm_event_handler()") changed the work submission logic to unconditionally call queue_work() with the expectation that queue_work() would have no effect if work was already pending. The problem is that a free list of struct iwcm_work is used (for which struct work_struct is embedded), so each call to queue_work() is basically unique and therefore does indeed queue the work. This causes a problem in the work handler which walks the work_list until it's empty to process entries. This means that a single run of the work handler could process item N+1 and release it back to the free list while the actual workqueue entry is still queued. It could then get reused (INIT_WORK...) and lead to list corruption in the workqueue logic. Fix this by just removing the work_list. The workqueue already does this for us. This fixes the following error that was observed when stress testing with ucmatose on an Intel E830 in iWARP mode: [ 151.465780] list_del corruption. next->prev should be ffff9f0915c69c08, but was ffff9f0a1116be08. CVE-2026-98965 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Restore Ordered MMIO Writes for Tx Doorbells The DQL accounting state which tracks the number of bytes queued for the NIC to transmit, namely dql->num_queued, is updated by the ICE driver when it invokes __netdev_tx_sent_queue(). Subsequently the driver updates the hardware queue tail allowing the NIC to begin processing the work queue. The queue accounting update should be ordered before the NIC begins transmitting descriptors. The transmit path currently updates the hardware doorbell using writel_relaxed(), which (on arm64) does not provide the same ordering guarantees between writes to normal memory and writes to MMIO registers that writel() does. This introduces a potential race where the NIC begins transmitting descriptors before the dql->num_queued update is globally visible. If the NIC finishes before the update is observed by dql_completed(), it detects an invalid state where more bytes have been completed than have been queued. When this happens the following BUG_ON is triggered. BUG_ON(count > num_queued - dql->num_completed); This has been observed and manifests as the following crash (note that the trace has been trimmed) in an environment with sustained network load that uses an Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller E810-XXV for SFP (rev 02) on an arm64 machine. Replacing writel_relaxed() with writel() in a test kernel eliminated the crash in the user's workload, which previously reproduced the issue reliably. kernel BUG at lib/dynamic_queue_limits.c:99 Internal error: Oops - BUG: 00000000f2000800 [#1] SMP pc : dql_completed+0x268/0x2a0 lr : ice_clean_tx_irq+0x1d4/0x620 [ice] Call trace: dql_completed+0x268/0x2a0 (P) ice_napi_poll+0x94/0x520 [ice] __napi_poll+0x48/0x3f0 net_rx_action+0x194/0x420 This restores the behaviour prior to commit ccde82e90946 ("ice: add E830 Earliest TxTime First Offload support"), which changed the notification mechanism from writel() to writel_relaxed(). CVE-2026-89448 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Force requesting ACS when tboot is enabled Currently the conditions of requesting ACS in detect_intel_iommu() don't include tboot, leading to a possible misconfiguration with ACS disabled (e.g. due to user opts) while iommu is later forced on by tboot_force_iommu(). Fix it by checking tboot in detect_intel_iommu(). 19 Oct
CVE-2026-74439 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Clear Present bit before tearing down scalable-mode context entry device_pasid_table_teardown() zeroes the 128-bit scalable-mode context entry with context_clear_entry() while the Present bit is still set. This creates a window where the hardware can fetch a torn entry, with some fields already zeroed while Present is still set, leading to unpredictable behavior or spurious faults. The context-cache invalidation is issued only after the entry has been zeroed, and intel_pasid_free_table() then frees the PASID directory pages, so the IOMMU can keep walking a stale Present=1 entry that points at freed memory. While x86 provides strong write ordering, the compiler may reorder the two 64-bit writes to the entry, and the hardware fetch is not guaranteed to be atomic with respect to multiple CPU writes. Commit c1e4f1dccbe9d ("iommu/vt-d: Clear Present bit before tearing down context entry") fixed this exact pattern in domain_context_clear_one() and the copied-context path, but device_pasid_table_teardown() was not converted. Align it with the "Guidance to Software for Invalidations" in the VT-d spec, Section 6.5.3.3, using the same ownership handshake as the sibling fix: clear only the Present bit, flush it to the IOMMU, perform the context-cache invalidation, and only then zero the rest of the entry. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-108265 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Enclave OS Mini is a Rust-based runtime for confidential applications inside Intel SGX enclaves. Prior to wasm-v0.40.0, the SGX runtime's RA-TLS challenge certificate path placed the certificate public-key hash and client nonce in quote ReportData but omitted a value bound to the active TLS session. An attacker who obtained an enclave TLS private key could relay a genuine quote onto another connection, causing a relying party to accept an attacker-terminated connection as the attested enclave. This issue is fixed in wasm-v0.40.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-92701 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Cocos AI is a confidential computing system for AI. In Cocos AI 0.8.2 and earlier, VerifTeeAttestation in the Intel TDX aTLS verifier receives an expected current-session value but does not apply it to TdQuoteBodyPolicy.ReportData before validating TDX QuoteV4 evidence. The verifier can consequently accept structurally valid evidence containing mismatched or reused REPORT_DATA for the current TLS session, causing the relying party to release application data or make a trust or authorization decision for an unrelated attestation context. This issue was fixed in Cocos AI 0.9.0 by removing the affected verifier path as part of the migration to post-handshake attestation. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-64438 8.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qat - fix VF2PF work teardown race in adf_disable_sriov() The VF2PF interrupt handler queues PF-side response work that stores a raw pointer to per-VF state (struct adf_accel_vf_info). Currently, adf_disable_sriov() destroys per-VF mutexes and frees vf_info without stopping new VF2PF work or waiting for in-flight workers to complete. A concurrently scheduled or already queued worker can then dereference freed memory. This manifests as a use-after-free when KASAN is enabled: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in mutex_lock+0x76/0xe0 Write of size 8 at addr 0000000000000260 by task kworker/24:2/... Set this flag atomically with the hardware interrupt mask inside adf_disable_all_vf2pf_interrupts(). After masking, synchronize the AE cluster MSI-X interrupt and flush the PF response workqueue before tearing down per-VF locks and state so all in-flight work completes before vf_info is destroyed. Introduce adf_enable_all_vf2pf_interrupts() to clear the flag and unmask all VF2PF interrupts under the same lock when SR-IOV is re-enabled. This ensures the software flag and hardware state transition atomically on both the enable and disable paths. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-90240 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Flush context cache with correct SID when tearing down aliases domain_context_clear_one() and device_pasid_table_teardown() are both invoked once per DMA alias of a device. Each function locates the context entry using the bus/devfn pair provided by the pci_for_each_dma_alias() callback, then calls intel_context_flush_no_pasid(), which constructs a device-selective context-cache invalidation from info->bus and info->devfn (that is, always the requester ID of the device itself). As a result, for every alias other than the device’s own RID, the context entry that was just cleared in memory is never invalidated in the context cache. Hardware may continue using that stale cached entry. In the scalable-mode teardown path, intel_pasid_free_table() can then free the PASID directory still referenced by that stale entry, allowing the IOMMU to walk freed memory. Fix this by passing the source ID of the entry being torn down to intel_context_flush_no_pasid(), instead of deriving it from @info. 21 Oct
CVE-2025-40058 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Disallow dirty tracking if incoherent page walk Dirty page tracking relies on the IOMMU atomically updating the dirty bit in the paging-structure entry. For this operation to succeed, the paging- structure memory must be coherent between the IOMMU and the CPU. In another word, if the iommu page walk is incoherent, dirty page tracking doesn't work. The Intel VT-d specification, Section 3.10 "Snoop Behavior" states: "Remapping hardware encountering the need to atomically update A/EA/D bits in a paging-structure entry that is not snooped will result in a non- recoverable fault." To prevent an IOMMU from being incorrectly configured for dirty page tracking when it is operating in an incoherent mode, mark SSADS as supported only when both ecap_slads and ecap_smpwc are supported. 19 Oct

CVE-2026-45945 8.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Fix race condition during PASID entry replacement The Intel VT-d PASID table entry is 512 bits (64 bytes). When replacing an active PASID entry (e.g., during domain replacement), the current implementation calculates a new entry on the stack and copies it to the table using a single structure assignment. struct pasid_entry *pte, new_pte; pte = intel_pasid_get_entry(dev, pasid); pasid_pte_config_first_level(iommu, &new_pte, ...); *pte = new_pte; Because the hardware may fetch the 512-bit PASID entry in multiple 128-bit chunks, updating the entire entry while it is active (Present bit set) risks a "torn" read. In this scenario, the IOMMU hardware could observe an inconsistent state — partially new data and partially old data — leading to unpredictable behavior or spurious faults. Fix this by removing the unsafe "replace" helpers and following the "clear-then-update" flow, which ensures the Present bit is cleared and the required invalidation handshake is completed before the new configuration is applied. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-62525 8.8 high 0.00% openwrt OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to version 24.10.4, local users could read and write arbitrary kernel memory using the ioctls of the ltq-ptm driver which is used to drive the datapath of the DSL line. This only effects the lantiq target supporting xrx200, danube and amazon SoCs from Lantiq/Intel/MaxLinear with the DSL in PTM mode. The DSL driver for the VRX518 is not affected. ATM mode is also not affected. Most VDSL lines use PTM mode and most ADSL lines use ATM mode. OpenWrt is normally running as a single user system, but some services are sandboxed. This vulnerability could allow attackers to escape a ujail sandbox or other contains. This is fixed in OpenWrt 24.10.4. There are no workarounds. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-40273 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: free copynotify stateid in nfs4_free_ol_stateid() Typically copynotify stateid is freed either when parent's stateid is being close/freed or in nfsd4_laundromat if the stateid hasn't been used in a lease period. However, in case when the server got an OPEN (which created a parent stateid), followed by a COPY_NOTIFY using that stateid, followed by a client reboot. New client instance while doing CREATE_SESSION would force expire previous state of this client. It leads to the open state being freed thru release_openowner-> nfs4_free_ol_stateid() and it finds that it still has copynotify stateid associated with it. We currently print a warning and is triggerred WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 8858 at fs/nfsd/nfs4state.c:1550 nfs4_free_ol_stateid+0xb0/0x100 [nfsd] This patch, instead, frees the associated copynotify stateid here. CVE-2023-53785 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mt76: mt7921: don't assume adequate headroom for SDIO headers mt7921_usb_sdio_tx_prepare_skb() calls mt7921_usb_sdio_write_txwi() and mt7921_skb_add_usb_sdio_hdr(), both of which blindly assume that adequate headroom will be available in the passed skb. This assumption typically is satisfied when the skb was allocated in the net core for transmission via the mt7921 netdev (although even that is only an optimization and is not strictly guaranteed), but the assumption is sometimes not satisfied when the skb originated in the receive path of another netdev and was passed through to the mt7921, such as by the bridge layer. Blindly prepending bytes to an skb is always wrong. This commit introduces a call to skb_cow_head() before the call to mt7921_usb_sdio_write_txwi() in mt7921_usb_sdio_tx_prepare_skb() to ensure that at least MT_SDIO_TXD_SIZE + MT_SDIO_HDR_SIZE bytes can be pushed onto the skb. Without this fix, I can trivially cause kernel panics by bridging an MT7921AU-based USB 802.11ax interface with an Ethernet interface on an Intel Atom-based x86 system using its onboard RTL8169 PCI Ethernet adapter and also on an ARM-based Raspberry Pi 1 using its onboard SMSC9512 USB Ethernet adapter. Note that the panics do not occur in every system configuration, as they occur only if the receiving netdev leaves less headroom in its received skbs than the mt7921 needs for its SDIO headers. Here is an example stack trace of this panic on Raspberry Pi OS Lite 2023-02-21 running kernel 6.1.24+ [1]: skb_panic from skb_push+0x44/0x48 skb_push from mt7921_usb_sdio_tx_prepare_skb+0xd4/0x190 [mt7921_common] mt7921_usb_sdio_tx_prepare_skb [mt7921_common] from mt76u_tx_queue_skb+0x94/0x1d0 [mt76_usb] mt76u_tx_queue_skb [mt76_usb] from __mt76_tx_queue_skb+0x4c/0xc8 [mt76] __mt76_tx_queue_skb [mt76] from mt76_txq_schedule.part.0+0x13c/0x398 [mt76] mt76_txq_schedule.part.0 [mt76] from mt76_txq_schedule_all+0x24/0x30 [mt76] mt76_txq_schedule_all [mt76] from mt7921_tx_worker+0x58/0xf4 [mt7921_common] mt7921_tx_worker [mt7921_common] from __mt76_worker_fn+0x9c/0xec [mt76] __mt76_worker_fn [mt76] from kthread+0xbc/0xe0 kthread from ret_from_fork+0x14/0x34 After this fix, bridging the mt7921 interface works fine on both of my previously problematic systems. CVE-2026-8798 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 2.1.3, the native entropy source used on Intel platforms retried the CPU entropy instructions without any bound. RDSEED and RDRAND report failure through their carry flag, and the JNI seeding routine spun re-issuing the instruction for as long as that flag stayed clear, so a persistent failure of the on-chip entropy source - whether from a hardware fault, from the underlying DRBG being exhausted by contention across many cores, or from a hypervisor that does not provide the instruction - left the calling thread looping indefinitely inside the JNI call, where it could be neither interrupted nor timed out. Any operation drawing from the native entropy source could therefore hang, denying service to the application. The retry loops are now bounded (200 attempts for RDSEED and 20 for RDRAND, twice the baselines given in Intel's Digital Random Number Generator software implementation guide), pausing between attempts and, on exhaustion, clearing any partially written buffer and throwing rather than continuing to spin. The clear is performed by an un-elidable memzero, which uses a volatile pointer and an assembly memory barrier so that a compiler cannot optimise the erase away as a dead store. Bouncy Castle for Java (bcprov) is not affected, as it has no native entropy source; the 1.0.X and 2.0.X FIPS series are not affected. Sat 24 Oct

CVE-2026-64247 8.4 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: hyper-v: Bound the bank index when querying sparse banks When checking if a VP ID is included in a sparse bank set, explicitly check that the ID can actually be contained in a sparse bank (the TLFS allows for a maximum of 64 banks of 64 vCPUs each). When handling a paravirtual TLB flush for L2, the VP ID is copied verbatim from the enlightened VMCS, without any bounds check, i.e. isn't guaranteed to be under the limit of 4096. Failure to check the bounds of the VP ID leads to an out-of-bounds read when testing the sparse bank, and super strictly speaking could lead to KVM performing an unnecessary TLB flush for an L2 vCPU. ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in hv_is_vp_in_sparse_set+0x85/0x100 [kvm] Read of size 8 at addr ffff88811ba5f598 by task hyperv_evmcs/2802 CPU: 12 UID: 1000 PID: 2802 Comm: hyperv_evmcs Not tainted 7.1.0-rc2 #7 PREEMPT Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x51/0x60 print_report+0xcb/0x5d0 kasan_report+0xb4/0xe0 kasan_check_range+0x35/0x1b0 hv_is_vp_in_sparse_set+0x85/0x100 [kvm] kvm_hv_flush_tlb+0xe9e/0x16c0 [kvm] kvm_hv_hypercall+0xe6b/0x1e60 [kvm] vmx_handle_exit+0x485/0x1b60 [kvm_intel] kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x22e3/0x5070 [kvm] kvm_vcpu_ioctl+0x5d0/0x10c0 [kvm] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x129/0x1a0 do_syscall_64+0xb9/0xcf0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 RIP: 0033:0x7f0e62d1a9bf </TASK> The buggy address belongs to the physical page: page: refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0xffffffffffffffff pfn:0x11ba5f flags: 0x4000000000000000(zone=1) raw: 4000000000000000 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000000 raw: ffffffffffffffff 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000000 page dumped because: kasan: bad access detected Memory state around the buggy address: ffff88811ba5f480: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ffff88811ba5f500: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff >ffff88811ba5f580: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ^ ffff88811ba5f600: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ffff88811ba5f680: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ================================================================== Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint Opportunistically add a compile time assertion to ensure the maximum number of sparse banks exactly matches the number of possible bits in the passed in mask. CVE-2026-100839 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.18.0, the guest kernel's ACPI/AML handling is vulnerable to an AML injection attack ("BadAML"). ACPI tables containing AML bytecode are passed from the untrusted host (QEMU) to the guest firmware (OVMF) and on to the Linux kernel, whose AML interpreter executes them. An attacker controlling the host — an assumed adversary in Contrast's threat model — can craft a table with malicious, Turing-complete AML bytecode that the guest kernel interprets with access to the full guest memory, including private pages, resulting in arbitrary code execution and disclosure or modification of confidential guest data. The issue affects the AMD SEV-SNP platforms Metal-QEMU-SNP and Metal-QEMU-SNP-GPU; Metal-QEMU-TDX is not affected because ACPI table contents are measured into RTMR 0 by OVMF on Intel TDX. Version v1.18.0 mitigates the attack by sandboxing the kernel AML interpreter so that it cannot read or write private memory pages. This weakness is not specific to Contrast but is generic to Confidential Computing setups that expose the ACPI interface to the host. 8 Oct

CVE-2026-90241 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Tear down scalable-mode context on probe failure intel_pasid_setup_sm_context() walks a PCI device’s DMA aliases via pci_for_each_dma_alias() and programs a scalable-mode context entry for each RID. For a device with a dma_alias_mask, the callback is invoked once for the device’s own RID and once for each alias bit, all with the same pci_dev, so device_pasid_table_setup() runs for multiple RIDs. pci_for_each_dma_alias() stops at the first callback error. Therefore, a failure partway through the walk can leave context entries for already processed RIDs present and still pointing to the device’s PASID table. On this error path, intel_iommu_probe_device() currently jumps directly to intel_pasid_free_table(), which frees the PASID table without first tearing down those context entries. The IOMMU may then walk a present context entry whose PASID table pointer references freed memory. intel_iommu_release_device() already performs teardown before freeing the table. Apply the same ordering on the probe failure path. device_pasid_table_teardown() safely handles RIDs that were never programmed: iommu_context_addr() returns NULL when no context table has been allocated, and clearing the Present bit of an already non-present entry is a no-op. So unwind is safe for both the alias that failed and any aliases not yet reached. 19 Oct

CVE-2025-40026 7.9 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Don't (re)check L1 intercepts when completing userspace I/O When completing emulation of instruction that generated a userspace exit for I/O, don't recheck L1 intercepts as KVM has already finished that phase of instruction execution, i.e. has already committed to allowing L2 to perform I/O. If L1 (or host userspace) modifies the I/O permission bitmaps during the exit to userspace, KVM will treat the access as being intercepted despite already having emulated the I/O access. Pivot on EMULTYPE_NO_DECODE to detect that KVM is completing emulation. Of the three users of EMULTYPE_NO_DECODE, only complete_emulated_io() (the intended "recipient") can reach the code in question. gp_interception()'s use is mutually exclusive with is_guest_mode(), and complete_emulated_insn_gp() unconditionally pairs EMULTYPE_NO_DECODE with EMULTYPE_SKIP. The bad behavior was detected by a syzkaller program that toggles port I/O interception during the userspace I/O exit, ultimately resulting in a WARN on vcpu->arch.pio.count being non-zero due to KVM no completing emulation of the I/O instruction. CVE-2026-53009 7.8 high 0.00% linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix double-free of tx_buf skb If ice_tso() or ice_tx_csum() fail, the error path in ice_xmit_frame_ring() frees the skb, but the 'first' tx_buf still points to it and is marked as valid (ICE_TX_BUF_SKB). 'next_to_use' remains unchanged, so the potential problem will likely fix itself when the next packet is transmitted and the tx_buf gets overwritten. But if there is no next packet and the interface is brought down instead, ice_clean_tx_ring() -> ice_unmap_and_free_tx_buf() will find the tx_buf and free the skb for the second time. The fix is to reset the tx_buf type to ICE_TX_BUF_EMPTY in the error path, so that ice_unmap_and_free_tx_buf(). Move the initialization of 'first' up, to ensure it's already valid in case we hit the linearization error path. The bug was spotted by AI while I had it looking for something else. It also proposed an initial version of the patch. I reproduced the bug and tested the fix by adding code to inject failures, on a build with KASAN. I looked for similar bugs in related Intel drivers and did not find any. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-45894 7.8 high 0.00% linux, linux_kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Clear Present bit before tearing down PASID entry The Intel VT-d Scalable Mode PASID table entry consists of 512 bits (64 bytes). When tearing down an entry, the current implementation zeros the entire 64-byte structure immediately using multiple 64-bit writes. Since the IOMMU hardware may fetch these 64 bytes using multiple internal transactions (e.g., four 128-bit bursts), updating or zeroing the entire entry while it is active (P=1) risks a "torn" read. If a hardware fetch occurs simultaneously with the CPU zeroing the entry, the hardware could observe an inconsistent state, leading to unpredictable behavior or spurious faults. Follow the "Guidance to Software for Invalidations" in the VT-d spec (Section 6.5.3.3) by implementing the recommended ownership handshake: 1. Clear only the 'Present' (P) bit of the PASID entry. 2. Use a dma_wmb() to ensure the cleared bit is visible to hardware before proceeding. 3. Execute the required invalidation sequence (PASID cache, IOTLB, and Device-TLB flush) to ensure the hardware has released all cached references. 4. Only after the flushes are complete, zero out the remaining fields of the PASID entry. Also, add a dma_wmb() in pasid_set_present() to ensure that all other fields of the PASID entry are visible to the hardware before the Present bit is set. 21 Oct
CVE-2025-68174 7.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: amd/amdkfd: enhance kfd process check in switch partition current switch partition only check if kfd_processes_table is empty. kfd_prcesses_table entry is deleted in kfd_process_notifier_release, but kfd_process tear down is in kfd_process_wq_release. consider two processes: Process A (workqueue) -> kfd_process_wq_release -> Access kfd_node member Process B switch partition -> amdgpu_xcp_pre_partition_switch -> amdgpu_amdkfd_device_fini_sw -> kfd_node tear down. Process A and B may trigger a race as shown in dmesg log. This patch is to resolve the race by adding an atomic kfd_process counter kfd_processes_count, it increment as create kfd process, decrement as finish kfd_process_wq_release. v2: Put kfd_processes_count per kfd_dev, move decrement to kfd_process_destroy_pdds and bug fix.
