CVE-2026-42271KEVexploit ×3 8.7 high 91.0% litellm, redhat, openshift_ai LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From version 1.74.2 to before version 1.83.7, two endpoints used to preview an MCP server before saving it — POST /mcp-rest/test/connection and POST /mcp-rest/test/tools/list — accepted a full server configuration in the request body, including the command, args, and env fields used by the stdio transport. When called with a stdio configuration, the endpoints attempted to connect, which spawned the supplied command as a subprocess on the proxy host with the privileges of the proxy process. The endpoints were gated only by a valid proxy API key, with no role check. Any authenticated user — including holders of low-privilege internal-user keys — could therefore run arbitrary commands on the host. This issue has been patched in version 1.83.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42208KEVexploit ×7 9.3 critical 89.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From version 1.81.16 to before version 1.83.7, a database query used during proxy API key checks mixed the caller-supplied key value into the query text instead of passing it as a separate parameter. An unauthenticated attacker could send a specially crafted Authorization header to any LLM API route (for example POST /chat/completions) and reach this query through the proxy's error-handling path. An attacker could read data from the proxy's database and may be able to modify it, leading to unauthorised access to the proxy and the credentials it manages. This issue has been patched in version 1.83.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-59822KEVexploit 8.8 high 1.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.84.0, LiteLLM's MCP Streamable HTTP endpoint allowed an unauthenticated attacker to use a fabricated Authorization header to trigger an OAuth2 passthrough fallback path that replaced failed LiteLLM key validation with an empty UserAPIKeyAuth() object, allowing requests to reach MCP tooling without a valid LiteLLM key. This issue is fixed in version 1.84.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-35029exploit 8.7 high 39.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.0, the /config/update endpoint does not enforce admin role authorization. A user who is already authenticated into the platform can then use this endpoint to modify proxy configuration and environment variables, register custom pass-through endpoint handlers pointing to attacker-controlled Python code, achieving remote code execution, read arbitrary server files by setting UI_LOGO_PATH and fetching via /get_image, and take over other privileged accounts by overwriting UI_USERNAME and UI_PASSWORD environment variables. Fixed in v1.83.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-40217exploit 8.8 high 16.0% litellm LiteLLM through 2026-04-08 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via bytecode rewriting at the /guardrails/test_custom_code URI. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49468exploit 9.5 critical 3.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.84.0, a Host-header parsing flaw in the LiteLLM proxy could, under specific conditions, allow unauthenticated access to protected management routes. The auth layer derived the effective route from request.url.path in litellm/proxy/auth/auth_utils.py::get_request_route(), which Starlette reconstructs from the Host header. A crafted Host could therefore make the auth gate evaluate a different route from the one FastAPI dispatched. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.84.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-35030exploit 9.4 critical 1.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.0, when JWT authentication is enabled (enable_jwt_auth: true), the OIDC userinfo cache uses token[:20] as the cache key. JWT headers produced by the same signing algorithm generate identical first 20 characters. This configuration option is not enabled by default. Most instances are not affected. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a token whose first 20 characters match a legitimate user's cached token. On cache hit, the attacker inherits the legitimate user's identity and permissions. This affects deployments with JWT/OIDC authentication enabled. Fixed in v1.83.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-47102exploit 8.7 high 1.0% litellm LiteLLM prior to 1.83.10 allows a user to modify their own user_role via the /user/update endpoint. While the endpoint correctly restricts users to updating only their own account, it does not restrict which fields may be changed. A user who can reach this endpoint can set their role to proxy_admin, gaining full administrative access to LiteLLM including all users, teams, keys, models, and prompt history. Users with the org_admin role have legitimate access to this endpoint and can exploit this vulnerability without chaining any additional flaw. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-47101exploit ×2 8.7 high 1.0% litellm LiteLLM prior to 1.83.14 allows an authenticated internal_user to create API keys with access to routes that their role does not permit. When generating a key, the allowed_routes field is stored without verifying that the specified routes fall within the user's own permissions. A key created with access to admin-only routes can then be used to reach those routes successfully, bypassing the role-based access controls that would otherwise block the request, enabling full privilege escalation from internal_user to proxy_admin. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-114612exploit 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From 1.87.0 until 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2, the proxy reuses one cryptographic context for at-rest secrets and session tokens, allowing an authenticated internal user to have crafted metadata containing a forged administrator credential encrypted and returned by the API-key flow. Replaying that ciphertext as a bearer token causes the proxy to trust the forged proxy administrator identity, permitting administrative access and arbitrary commands through the MCP stdio endpoint. Versions 1.87.0 through 1.90.x require EXPERIMENTAL_UI_LOGIN to be enabled, while versions after 1.91.0 are exploitable in the default configuration. This issue was fixed in LiteLLM 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-42203exploit 8.6 high 0.00% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From version 1.80.5 to before version 1.83.7, the POST /prompts/test endpoint accepted user-supplied prompt templates and rendered them without sandboxing. A crafted template could run arbitrary code inside the LiteLLM Proxy process. The endpoint only checks that the caller presents a valid proxy API key, so any authenticated user could reach it. Depending on how the proxy is deployed, this could expose secrets in the process environment (such as provider API keys or database credentials) and allow commands to be run on the host. This issue has been patched in version 1.83.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-59970exploit 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, passes an administrator-controlled AI provider URL directly to LiteLLM without applying the server's outbound-request SSRF checks when an authenticated user creates a Space, configures an AI provider with a URL targeting an internal address, and invokes an AI action. In cookbook/views/api.py, the affected AI actions call completion through TARGET/api/ai-import/ and api/ai-step-sort/ while bypassing safe_request. The attack works because the server connects to the supplied provider URL from each AI action and exposes connection success, refusal, or timeout as a blind network-reachability oracle. This can reach internal services, other hosts on the server network, and cloud metadata endpoints and map reachable internal hosts and ports. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. 21 Oct
CVE-2025-11203exploit 3.5 low 0.00% no CPE yet LiteLLM Information health API_KEY Information Disclosure Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of LiteLLM. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the API_KEY parameter provided to the health endpoint. The issue results from exposing sensitive information to an unauthorized actor. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose stored credentials, leading to further compromise. Was ZDI-CAN-26585. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-59820 6.1 medium 1.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.7-stable, LiteLLM Skills archive extraction did not sufficiently validate file paths from uploaded skill ZIP archives, allowing an authenticated user with access to LiteLLM LLM API routes or a key whose allowed_routes includes /v1/skills, anthropic_routes, or llm_api_routes to upload a crafted skill archive containing path traversal entries that could be written outside the intended extraction or staging directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.7-stable. Sun 25 Oct

CVE-2026-59819 2.1 low 1.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.10-stable, LiteLLM's /health/test_connection endpoint resolved request-supplied environment and OIDC file references in litellm_params, allowing a proxy administrator or another privileged caller with permission to test model connections to read files from the local filesystem via an oidc/file/ reference. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.10-stable. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-59821 2.1 low 1.0% litellm LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.82.0-stable, LiteLLM's Custom Code Guardrails production create and update paths did not apply the same sandboxing and validation used by the test endpoint, allowing a privileged user with access to create or update guardrails to submit custom Python code that executed in the LiteLLM proxy environment and could expose secrets available to the process. This issue is fixed in version 1.82.0-stable. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-115886 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet MLflow is an open source AI engineering platform for agents, large language models, and machine learning models. From 3.12.0rc0 until 3.17.0, the scorer invoke, register, and GenAI evaluate endpoints, including unauthenticated POST /ajax-api/3.0/mlflow/scorer/invoke, accept serialized third-party scorer data that Scorer.model_validate_json resolves using a module-path allowlist without constraining the selected class or its constructor arguments. When optional trulens and trulens-providers-litellm packages are installed, an attacker can select mlflow.genai.scorers.trulens, choose a model URI outside MLflow's native provider registry so execution uses the LiteLLM fallback, and supply api_base and api_key values that cause the server to send an outbound request to an attacker-chosen or internal host with attacker-controlled headers and body. The vulnerable deserialization occurs before a tracking-store lookup or job submission. This issue is fixed in version 3.17.0. Mon 26 Oct
