CVE-2026-105192exploit 9.8 critical 1.0% lmcache LMCache multiprocess mode, also called distributed mode, opens an unauthenticated ZeroMQ ROUTER so worker processes can register and share KV cache blocks. Messages on that socket are msgpack. Extension code 1 is passed to DeviceIPCWrapper.Deserialize, which calls pickle.loads, while the server is still decoding request arguments and before the handler runs. A single unauthenticated ZMQ DEALER message to the transport port (default 5555) therefore executes code as the user the LMCache process runs as. Official container images run that process as root. The transport binds to localhost unless the operator sets a routable address with --host, which is how multi-node deployments let peers connect. The decode path shipped in v0.3.9 and is present through v0.5.5, including the v0.5.6 release candidates. v0.5.6, published on 2026-10-14, removes pickle.loads from this path. Thu 29 Oct
CVE-2026-114613 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet MessagePack is the serializer implementation for Python msgpack.org. Prior to 1.2.3, the msgpack-python C extension (msgpack._cmsgpack) leaks a decoded map value when deserialization rejects a key with strict_map_key=True (the default). Repeated malformed inputs can cause unbounded process memory growth and denial of service in applications that deserialize attacker-controlled MessagePack data. Both unpackb() and the streaming Unpacker API are affected. The pure-Python fallback does not exhibit this leak in the reported tests. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.3. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-107302 7.5 high 1.0% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the decoder reads the four-byte length of a map32 value before validating that the complete five-byte header is available. A truncated map32 header therefore causes a checked out-of-bounds buffer read and throws RangeError instead of IncompleteBufferError, which can unexpectedly terminate a request, stream, or worker in applications that wait for additional bytes after IncompleteBufferError. There is no adjacent-memory disclosure because the buffer implementation checks bounds. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-93034 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet SGLang contains an arbitrary code execution vulnerability caused by the ZMQ message decoder unconditionally deserializing PickleWrapper payloads via pickle.loads() in _maybe_unwrap_pickle without type allowlisting or authentication; this vulnerability persists via the msgpack path even when SGLANG_USE_PICKLE_IPC is disabled, and becomes remotely exploitable if data-parallel attention is enabled with a non-loopback --dist-init-addr setting. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-57585 7.5 high 0.00% msgpack, messagepack MessagePack is the serializer implementation for Python msgpack.org. Prior to 1.2.1, there is an Out-of-bounds read/crash on Unpacker reuse after a caught error, potentially leading to a DoS attack. If the Unpacker is used repeatedly after an error occurs, the process may crash with a SEGV. This issue has been fixed in version 1.2.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-107300 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the streaming decoder recursively invokes itself for each complete MessagePack value remaining in a chunk. A remote peer can send one chunk containing many small valid values, causing recursion proportional to the value count, exhausting the JavaScript call stack, and interrupting the process or stream. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-93849 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.1, 11.8.x <= 11.8.5, 11.7.x <= 11.7.10, 11.10.x <= 11.10.1 Mattermost fail to apply allocation limits to the byte-string decode paths in its WebSocket msgpack decoder, which allows an authenticated remote attacker to cause excessive server memory allocation via a crafted binary WebSocket frame declaring a Bin32 payload length of up to 4,294,967,295 bytes.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00768 Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-107301 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, constructing msgpack5 with an empty or partial options object disables the default protoAction: 'error' protection. A decoded map containing a __proto__ key can then replace the decoded object's prototype, potentially changing inherited properties or downstream behavior, although Object.prototype is not modified globally. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107299 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the streaming decoder treats the reserved MessagePack byte 0xc1 as incomplete input instead of invalid input. When 0xc1 begins a stream, subsequent data remains buffered while the decoder waits for bytes that cannot make the value valid, allowing a remote peer to exhaust memory. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-107297 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the streaming decoder reparses an incomplete array or map from the beginning whenever another chunk arrives. A remote peer can split one valid MessagePack container across many small chunks, causing completed elements to be decoded repeatedly, producing quadratic CPU use and blocking the event loop. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-72854 5.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack_unpacker_expand_buffer in src/unpack.c, reached through the public msgpack_unpacker_reserve_buffer API, computes its new buffer size using an unchecked size_t addition of the requested size and the amount already used. The doubling loop guards its own multiplication against overflow, but the addition in the loop condition is unguarded, so a request near SIZE_MAX wraps: the loop condition is already satisfied, the allocation is performed at the small pre-wrap size, and the function returns true. The caller is told the requested capacity was reserved when it was not, so a subsequent write of the requested length overflows the heap buffer. The library's own example/lib_buffer_unpack.c demonstrates the reserve-then-write pattern, and its defensive assert comparing capacity against the request is compiled out under NDEBUG. msgpack-c's own decode entry points do not derive the reservation size from untrusted input, so reaching this requires an integration that passes an attacker-influenced length to the reservation API, such as a length-prefixed streaming transport. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-107298 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the array and map decoding paths have no nesting-depth limit, allowing an attacker who can provide MessagePack input to submit deeply nested containers that exhaust the JavaScript call stack and interrupt a process, worker, or request handler. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-107296 3.7 low 0.00% no CPE yet msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, decoding a negative signed 64-bit integer modifies the corresponding bytes in the caller-provided input buffer while computing the value. Applications that retain or reuse encoded input for integrity checks, logging, or later processing can observe silently corrupted data, while positive integers and other MessagePack value types are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-54522 2.1 low 0.00% msgpack, messagepack MessagePack for Ruby is an implementation of the MessagePack binary serialization format. Prior to 1.8.2, MessagePack::Buffer#clear in ext/msgpack/buffer.c leaves rmem_last, rmem_end, and rmem_owner stale after _msgpack_buffer_shift_chunk returns an rmem page to the shared pool, allowing a subsequent Buffer#write and a second MessagePack::Buffer to alias the page and disclose or corrupt cross-buffer data. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.2. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-106972 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet Uncontrolled recursion in MessagePack\BufferUnpacker::unpack() in rybakit/msgpack versions prior to 0.11.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service through memory exhaustion when an application decodes deeply nested, attacker-controlled MessagePack input. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-106971 unscored 0.00% no CPE yet An integer overflow in the MessagePack\BufferUnpacker component of rybakit/msgpack versions prior to 0.11.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted MessagePack input when the application runs on 32-bit PHP Thu 29 Oct
