A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes resulting in a reload and DoS condition. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71476 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From version 20.8.0 until 22.7.7 and 23.0.2, the Nx self-hosted HTTP remote cache extracts downloaded cache artifacts without constraining where files are written. A malicious or on-path (MITM) remote cache server can return a crafted tar archive whose entries escape the cache directory and write to arbitrary locations on the machine running Nx, which can be escalated to remote code execution. Nx's default local cache and Nx Cloud are not affected; only workspaces configured to use a self-hosted remote cache are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.7 and 23.0.2. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-17603 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | sonatype, nexus_repository_manager | Nexus Repository 3 did not sufficiently restrict which HikariCP connection-pool properties could be set through the DataStore configuration API. A user holding the nx-datastores-update permission could set the connectionInitSql property to execute arbitrary SQL against the configured database on every new connection. On the default H2 database backend, this could be leveraged to achieve remote code execution as the Nexus process user. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54753 | 5.9 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From 17.0.4 until 22.7.2 and 23.0.0-beta.2, the local HTTP server started by nx graph sent Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * on every response, letting any website a developer visited read the server's responses cross-origin — including the full project graph and the output of the /help endpoint, which runs a target's configured help command. The practical impact is typically cross-origin information disclosure, but can be arbitrary command injection in rare cases. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.7.2 and 23.0.0-beta.2. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-76459 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco NX-OS engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76459 are related to out-of-bounds write issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-787. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-76465 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability in the MPLS Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) feature of Cisco NX-OS Software for Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper validation when an affected device is processing an MPLS echo-request packet. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted MPLS echo-request to an IP address on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a device reload and a DoS condition. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-76471 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability in the NX-API feature of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of data that is sent to the NX-API. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the NX-API of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a reload of the device and a DoS condition. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93475 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The X.509 parser in NetX Secure accepts an RSA public key of any size, but every signature-verification path decrypts into fixed-size buffers dimensioned for the `NX_CRYPTO_MAX_RSA_MODULUS_SIZE` default of 4096 bits. A certificate carrying a larger modulus drives an out-of-bounds write past a file-scope static during ordinary certificate-chain verification. It is reachable pre-authentication. The issuer used for the crypto operation is looked up in the remote, peer-supplied store before the trusted store, so the attacker supplies the oversized key themselves as an intermediate in the chain they present. It triggers on a TLS or DTLS client verifying a malicious server's chain, and on a server performing client-certificate authentication. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-76453 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco NX-OS engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening release that addresses multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76453 are related to improper neutralization issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-707. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106464 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | `_nx_secure_x509_parse_signature_data` computes the certificate signature's length as `tlv_length - 1` without first checking that `tlv_length` is non-zero. A certificate whose signature is an empty ASN.1 BIT STRING therefore parses successfully and leaves the certificate holding a signature length of `0xFFFFFFFF` and a signature pointer one byte past the end of the buffer. Certificates are parsed from the peer during the TLS handshake, so the input is remote and unauthenticated. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34588 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | openexr | OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. From 3.1.0 to before 3.2.7, 3.3.9, and 3.4.9, internal_exr_undo_piz() advances the working wavelet pointer with signed 32-bit arithmetic. Because nx, ny, and wcount are int, a crafted EXR file can make this product overflow and wrap. The next channel then decodes from an incorrect address. The wavelet decode path operates in place, so this yields both out-of-bounds reads and out-of-bounds writes. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.7, 3.3.9, and 3.4.9. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-10748 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | sonatype, nexus_repository_manager | An authenticated user with the nx-licensing-create privilege can upload a specially crafted license file to execute arbitrary operating system commands as the Nexus process user in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 versions before 3.92.0. | Sun 25 Oct |

| CVE-2026-20173 | 5.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability in Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exhaust system resources, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability exists because rate limiting was improperly applied to some protocols. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a high rate of UDP or TCP connections to a data plane interface on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause instability to various routing and control plane protocols through some packet loss and temporary disruptions, causing a DoS condition. This DoS condition will clear without manual intervention soon after the high rate of traffic is stopped. | 8 Oct |

| CVE-2026-39886 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | openexr | OpenEXR provides the specification and reference implementation of the EXR file format, an image storage format for the motion picture industry. Versions 3.4.0 through 3.4.9 have a signed integer overflow vulnerability in OpenEXR's HTJ2K (High-Throughput JPEG 2000) decompression path. The `ht_undo_impl()` function in `src/lib/OpenEXRCore/internal_ht.cpp` accumulates a bytes-per-line value (`bpl`) using a 32-bit signed integer with no overflow guard. A crafted EXR file with 16,385 FLOAT channels at the HTJ2K maximum width of 32,767 causes `bpl` to overflow `INT_MAX`, producing undefined behavior confirmed by UBSan. On an allocator-permissive host where the required ~64 GB allocation succeeds, the wrapped negative `bpl` value would subsequently be used as a per-scanline pointer advance, which would produce a heap out-of-bounds write. On a memory-constrained host, the allocation fails before `ht_undo_impl()` is entered. This is the second distinct integer overflow in `ht_undo_impl()`. CVE-2026-34545 addressed a different overflow in the same function — the `int16_t p` pixel-loop counter at line ~302 that overflows when iterating over channels whose `width` exceeds 32,767. The CVE-2026-34545 fix did not touch the `int bpl` accumulator at line 211, which is the subject of this advisory. The `bpl` accumulator was also not addressed by any of the 8 advisories in the 2026-04-05 v3.4.9 release batch. This finding is structurally identical to CVE-2026-34588 (PIZ `wcount*nx` overflow in `internal_piz.c`) and should be remediated with the same pattern. The CVE-2026-34588 fix did not touch `internal_ht.cpp`. Version 3.4.10 contains a remediation that addresses the vulnerability in `internal_ht.cpp`. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49214 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | guzzlephp, psr-7 | guzzlehttp/psr7 is a PSR-7 HTTP message library implementation in PHP. Versions prior to 2.10.2 did not reject ASCII control characters, whitespace, or DEL in first-party URI host components. A vulnerable flow is: First, an application accepts a user-controlled URL. Second, the URL is used to construct a PSR-7 `Uri` or `Request`. Third, the host component contains CRLF or another header-unsafe character. Fourth, the host is copied into the PSR-7 `Host` header when no explicit `Host` header is provided. Finally, the request is serialized or sent by an HTTP client that does not independently reject the malformed host. In that flow, an attacker can cause the serialized request to contain additional attacker-controlled header lines. For example, a host containing `"\r\nX-Injected: yes"` can cause the generated `Host` header to span multiple HTTP header lines. Applications are affected when they use user-controlled URLs for outbound HTTP requests, URL forwarding, proxying, crawling, webhook delivery, or similar request-dispatch flows. In deployments involving HTTP/1.1 connection reuse, proxies, gateways, or load balancers, this malformed request may also contribute to request smuggling or cache poisoning, depending on how downstream components parse the request. The issue is patched in `2.10.2` and later. `1.x` is end-of-life and will not receive a patch. As a workaround, validate and reject all untrusted URI strings before constructing PSR-7 `Uri` or `Request` instances. Reject input containing ASCII control characters, whitespace, or DEL, including CRLF, tab, space, NUL, or DEL characters. Applications that forward requests should also ensure the final HTTP client or serializer rejects invalid URI and header data before writing requests to the network. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110721 | 5.3 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The NotificationX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization leading to arbitrary content injection in versions up to, and including, 3.3.3 The /notificationx/v1/popup-submit REST route is registered with permission_callback => '__return_true', and the handler at PopupNotification::handle_popup_submission() accepts an attacker-controlled nx_id, loads whichever NotificationX campaign that id points to, and copies that campaign's own source into the new entry without verifying that the campaign is a Popup Notification or Exit Intent Popup (the two sources this form is intended to serve). | CVE-2026-20032 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A vulnerability in the Python interpreter of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with low privileges to escape the Python sandbox and gain unauthorized access to the underlying operating system of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating specific functions within the Python interpreter. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to escape the Python sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privileges of the authenticated user. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98232 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Validate MODE SENSE lengths in scsi_cdl_enable() scsi_cdl_enable() uses length fields returned by MODE SENSE to locate the ATA feature mode page in a 64-byte stack buffer. A target can report a total length shorter than its mode header and block descriptors. The unsigned subtraction used for the MODE SELECT length can wrap, and the separately computed buf_data can point beyond buf. During automatic scan, enable is false, so the read-modify-write of buf_data[4] can clear the low two bits of a target-selected out-of-bounds stack byte. scsi_mode_select() can then copy up to 64 bytes from outside the buffer into the outgoing MODE SELECT payload, disclosing stack contents to the target. This is reachable while scanning a USB storage device that identifies as an ATA device and advertises CDL support. No filesystem mount or userspace access to the block device is required. On upstream commit cee9395acd80 ("Linux 7.3-rc1"), a build-specific, one-vCPU QEMU/Raw Gadget proof using QEMU-only multi-UDC allocator sampling executed a fixed proof command inside the guest and created a UID-0-owned marker during automatic enumeration, with KASLR and NX enabled. The issue was independently found during security research at Drivesec S.r.l. Cap the available length to the buffer size. Validate and consume the mode header and block descriptor lengths before using the page, and require the five bytes needed to access the CDL field. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93066 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm/pat: Take cpa_lock around large-page collapse Loading and unloading modules concurrently on several CPUs on a KASAN build, with a short delay injected at the CPA page-table lookup to widen the window, faults within minutes: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in __change_page_attr+0x7cc/0x7e0 Write of size 8 at addr ffff888181139718 by task modprobe ... The buggy address belongs to the physical page: pfn:0x181139 ... page_type: f2(table) cpa_collapse_large_pages() rebuilds a leaf PMD from its 4K PTEs and frees the old PTE-table pages, while __change_page_attr() fetches a PTE pointer from a lockless lookup_address_in_pgd_attr() and writes it with set_pte_atomic() only later. When module text is served from a shared large ROX mapping the two run on the same PMD: CPU A (module load) CPU B (module finalize) ------------------- ----------------------- execmem_make_temp_rw set_memory_nx __change_page_attr split 2M -> 4K table P kpte = &P[i] (lockless) execmem_restore_rox set_memory_rox (CPA_COLLAPSE) cpa_collapse_large_pages rebuild leaf PMD flush_tlb_all pagetable_free(P) set_pte_atomic(kpte, ...) -> writes into freed P P is a page-table page (page_type: table), reused at once, so the write corrupts whatever got the page next: a bad-pte or bad-page splat, or a fatal fault once P has been turned into read-only text. The flush_tlb_all() before the free does not close this: its IPI only serializes against page-table walkers that run with interrupts off (e.g. GUP-fast); the walk in __change_page_attr() runs with interrupts on, so nothing stops it from holding a stale pointer into P. Serialize the collapse - the PMD rebuild, TLB flush and PTE-table free - under cpa_lock, the same lock __change_page_attr() now takes unconditionally since commit ("x86/mm/pat: stop gating cpa_lock on debug_pagealloc_enabled()"), so a concurrent walker can no longer hold a pointer into a table the collapse is about to free. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-80852 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tls: device: fix out-of-bounds write in tls_append_frag() Found with syzkaller and a local syzbot instance running on top of a netdevsim TLS offload emulation; tls_device.c is otherwise only reachable on a machine with a NIC that implements the offload. tls_push_data() only checks whether the open record still has room for another frag at the bottom of its loop, and the MSG_MORE early break skips that check. The record survives to the next syscall with the frag count it already had, and tls_append_frag() does not check either, so with TLS_TX_ZEROCOPY_RO every splice(SPLICE_F_MORE) of a byte or two adds a non-coalescing pipe page and num_frags walks off the end of tls_record_info.frags[MAX_SKB_FRAGS]. Once the record is pushed, tls_push_record() runs the same index over sg_tx_data[MAX_SKB_FRAGS] and the sg_set_page() writes land on the destruct_work that follows it, which the workqueue then calls. The byte limit is fine because copy drops to 0 and the loop falls through to the same check; the frag count has no such feedback. Push the record rather than keep a full one open, which is what a plain TCP socket does - tcp_sendmsg_locked() uses tcp_mark_push() and new_segment in both the copy and the MSG_SPLICE_PAGES paths, and tls_sw already sets full_record when the sk_msg ring fills up, MSG_MORE or not.
