| CVE-2026-42945exploit ×49 | 9.2 critical | 68.0% | f5, dos, nginx_gateway_fabric, nginx_ingress_controller | NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when the rewrite directive is followed by a rewrite, if, or set directive and an unnamed Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) capture (for example, $1, $2) with a replacement string that includes a question mark (?). An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond its control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2020-14155 | 5.3 medium | 4.0% | pcre, apple, macos, gitlab | libpcre in PCRE before 8.44 allows an integer overflow via a large number after a (?C substring. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-20838 | 7.5 high | 3.0% | pcre, apple, macos, universal_forwarder | libpcre in PCRE before 8.43 allows a subject buffer over-read in JIT when UTF is disabled, and \X or \R has more than one fixed quantifier, a related issue to CVE-2019-20454. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57584 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Phalcon is a high-performance, full-stack PHP framework. Prior to 5.15.0, every Phalcon MVC application built with a default router registers a built-in route whose compiled PCRE pattern contains the nested quantifier (/.), and the same construct is produced by the /:params placeholder and the CLI router. Phalcon\Mvc\Router::handle() matches this pattern against the attacker-controlled request URI on every request, so a crafted path such as one containing repeated slashes followed by decoded newlines can trigger catastrophic backtracking and cause CPU exhaustion or route-matching failure. This issue is fixed in version 5.15.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108082 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to versions 5.4.54, 6.4.46, 7.4.19, and 8.1.7, HeaderUtils::split() parsed header values with a pattern whose token alternative also matched whitespace, followed by a (?<!\s) lookbehind. A run of whitespace placed before a separator could be divided among the iterations of the enclosing repetition in exponentially many ways, and the engine tried all of them before settling. HeaderBag calls it for the Cache-Control header whenever a Request is built, so any application handling HTTP requests is reachable, with no authentication. A single request carrying such a header costs close to a second of CPU (813 ms for a run of 17 spaces in an 8 KB header on PHP 8.5, doubling with each extra space). From 18 spaces on, preg_match_all() gives up at pcre.backtrack_limit and split() returns an empty array, so every directive of the header is silently dropped. This issue affects symfony/http-foundation v4.1.0-BETA1 through v5.4.53, v6.0.0-BETA1 through v6.4.45, v7.0.0-BETA1 through v7.4.18, and v8.0.0-BETA1 through v8.1.6. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40489 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | editorconfig-core-c is an EditorConfig core library for use by plugins supporting EditorConfig parsing. Versions up to and including 0.12.10 have a stack-based buffer overflow in ec_glob() that allows an attacker to crash any application using libeditorconfig by providing a specially crafted directory structure and .editorconfig file. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-0341. The pcre_str buffer was protected in 0.12.6 but the adjacent l_pattern[8194] stack buffer received no equivalent protection. On Ubuntu 24.04, FORTIFY_SOURCE converts the overflow to SIGABRT (DoS). Version 0.12.11 contains an updated fix. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-62237 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Grav before 2.0.4 contains a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the regex_replace filter and function, which are allowlisted in the Twig content sandbox. When Twig processing in page content is enabled (security.twig_content.process_enabled: true, disabled by default), an authenticated page editor can supply a catastrophically backtracking PCRE pattern that is passed directly to PHP's preg_replace(), causing unbounded CPU consumption and denial of service to the web server process. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-67413 | 6.0 medium | 0.00% | broadcom, rabbitmq_server | RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, the optional rabbitmq_jms_topic_exchange plugin's x-jms-topic exchange accepted a client-controlled rjms_erlang_selector binding expression whose LIKE evaluator expanded percent and underscore wildcards into overlapping PCRE fragments. It executed those fragments with raw re:run/3 without match or recursion limits, allowing an authenticated tenant that can bind and publish to consume broker scheduler CPU and deny service with pathological selectors. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75834 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Grav before 2.0.14 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Security::detectXss() function (system/src/Grav/Common/Security.php). All XSS detection patterns use the PCRE /u (UTF-8) modifier, so a single invalid UTF-8 byte anywhere in page content causes preg_match() to return false for every pattern, silently bypassing the save-time XSS safety gate (Validation::checkSafety()). An authenticated attacker with page-edit permissions (without the security.xss_whitelist privilege) can store malicious JavaScript that executes in the browser of a visitor who views the affected page. | Thu 22 Oct |
