CVE-2026-19264exploit 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Postiz is an open-source social media scheduling tool. The route that serves locally stored media joins URL-supplied path segments onto the upload directory and streams the file without normalising the path or confining it to that directory, and the route requires no authentication. Raw dot-segments are collapsed before routing, but URL-encoded separators survive route matching and are decoded only once they reach the handler, restoring the traversal at the filesystem call. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore read any file readable by the application process, including the process environment, which exposes the JWT signing secret, the database connection string, and connected provider and billing secrets. Because session tokens are signed with that secret and carry no expiry, this allows forging a non-expiring session as any user, including an administrator, without a password. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-40487exploit 9.0 critical 0.00% gitroom, postiz Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Prior to version 2.21.6, a file upload validation bypass allows any authenticated user to upload arbitrary HTML, SVG, or other executable file types to the server by spoofing the `Content-Type` header. The uploaded files are then served by nginx with a Content-Type derived from their original extension (`text/html`, `image/svg+xml`), enabling Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the context of the application's origin. This can lead to session riding, account takeover, and full compromise of other users' accounts. Version 2.21.6 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115931 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Postiz lets a signed-in user ask the backend to run a function on one of their connected channels. The backend did not restrict which functions can be requested, so a user could call internal helper functions that were never meant to be reachable from the web interface. One of those helpers reads a file from the server's disk. A user who connects a channel whose stored token is a file path can have the backend return the contents of any file it can read, including its environment, which holds the secret used to sign login sessions, the database address and the credentials of connected services. Another helper makes the backend process exit with a single request. Self-registration is open by default, so no existing account and no action by another user is needed. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115933 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Postiz signs its session, invitation and password reset tokens with one shared secret and without any marker of what a token is for. A route that refreshes the credentials of a browser-extension channel signed data taken from the request itself and stored the result where the requesting user can read it back. A user could therefore obtain a validly signed token containing any claims they choose, which the application accepts as a session, as an organization invitation with a chosen role, as a password reset or as an enterprise provisioning token. A second, narrower route that creates team invitations signs extra fields from the request body in the same way. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-48781 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. In versions prior to 2.21.8, the Skool integration callback signed an attacker-controlled JSON blob into a session-shape JWT using the application's JWT_SECRET, and the auth middleware trusted every claim in that JWT without re-resolving the user from the database. Any authenticated Postiz user could forge a SUPERADMIN session and impersonate arbitrary organizations. This allowed Full Access to the following: all parts of Postiz, including users registered to the specific instance and the ability to post in the name of the victim's social media channels added to that Postiz instance. This issue has been fixed in version 2.21.8. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115932 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet When a post is published, Postiz treats a media path that is not a web address as a file on the server's disk, but it does not check that the file lies inside the upload directory. A registered user can store a crafted media path with a post, get it past the checks that normally restrict it, and have the publishing worker read an arbitrary file and send it as an attachment to a Discord server the user controls. The same unconfined reads can be reached through two further routes. One tells the caller whether a file exists and can exhaust the backend's memory, the other delivers the file the same way as the main route. Self-registration is open by default, so the attacker needs no existing account. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40168 8.2 high 0.00% gitroom, postiz Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Prior to 2.21.5, the /api/public/stream endpoint is vulnerable to SSRF. Although the application validates the initially supplied URL and blocks direct private/internal hosts, it does not re-validate the final destination after HTTP redirects. As a result, an attacker can supply a public HTTPS URL that passes validation and then redirects the server-side request to an internal resource. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-48799 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Prior to 2.21.8, Postiz fails to verify Nowpayments IPN callback authenticity against the payment provider shared secret and reads the target subscription identifier from the untrusted request body, allowing a low-privileged account to grant arbitrary organizations lifetime PRO subscriptions without payment. This issue is fixed in version 2.21.8. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-107761 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Several Postiz endpoints return the complete database row of the record they operate on instead of only the fields the client needs. Two of them include secrets the caller is not meant to receive. The public API's channel delete returns the deleted integration row, including the channel's platform access token and refresh token. A third-party OAuth app permitted to delete a channel therefore receives that channel's social platform credentials and can use them against the connected account directly, outside Postiz. `GET /user/organizations` returns each organization row, including its API key, to every member of the organization. The API key is intended for admins only, so a member with a lower role can obtain it and call the public API on behalf of the organization. Both endpoints require a valid session, API key or OAuth token and are scoped to the caller's own organization. There is no anonymous access and no cross-tenant exposure. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-48783 4.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Versions prior to 2.21.8 contained an unauthenticated endpoint that accepted a signed token and applied subscription-enforcement side effects to the organization referenced in that token's claims, without verifying the token's intended purpose. The endpoint, /public/modify-subscription, could not change the persisted subscription tier, but it did execute enforcement-related side effects on the caller's own organization, including adjusting team-member enablement state, disabling integrations exceeding the asserted plan's limits, and resetting the scheduled-post cron when the asserted plan was the free tier. Impact is limited to the attacker's own organization and cannot be redirected at other tenants through this endpoint. This issue has been fixed in version 2.21.8. Mon 26 Oct
