CVE-2023-5178exploit 8.8 high 10.0% linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, active_iq_unified_manager A use-after-free vulnerability was found in drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c` in `nvmet_tcp_free_crypto` due to a logical bug in the NVMe/TCP subsystem in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a malicious user to cause a use-after-free and double-free problem, which may permit remote code execution or lead to local privilege escalation. 14 Oct
CVE-2021-41617exploit 7.0 high 3.0% openbsd, fedoraproject, openssh, fedora, active_iq_unified_manager sshd in OpenSSH 6.2 through 8.x before 8.8, when certain non-default configurations are used, allows privilege escalation because supplemental groups are not initialized as expected. Helper programs for AuthorizedKeysCommand and AuthorizedPrincipalsCommand may run with privileges associated with group memberships of the sshd process, if the configuration specifies running the command as a different user. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-43867exploit 9.8 critical 1.0% apache, camel Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel PQC Component. The camel-pqc component persists post-quantum key metadata (KeyMetadata) through pluggable KeyLifecycleManager implementations. AwsSecretsManagerKeyLifecycleManager.deserializeMetadata() reads that metadata back from the configured AWS Secrets Manager secret by Base64-decoding the stored value and deserializing it with a raw java.io.ObjectInputStream.readObject() and no ObjectInputFilter or class allow-list; the cast to KeyMetadata happens only after readObject() returns, so any readObject() side effects in a crafted object run before the type check. A principal who can write to the AWS Secrets Manager secret that holds this metadata (requiring secretsmanager:PutSecretValue on that secret) could store a crafted serialized object that is deserialized during normal key-lifecycle operations, potentially leading to code execution in the context of the application that manages the keys. This is the same underlying defect, in the same code path and remediated by the same fix, as CVE-2026-46590, which was reported independently and additionally covers the HashiCorp Vault and file-based sibling managers; both are incomplete-remediation follow-ons to CVE-2026-40048 (CAMEL-23200). This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.18.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.21.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.3. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, restrict write access to the AWS Secrets Manager secret that holds the camel-pqc key metadata so that only the application’s own identity holds secretsmanager:PutSecretValue on it (least-privilege IAM), and keep the PQC key material in a secret separate from any data that less-trusted principals can write. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-46590exploit 8.8 high 1.0% apache, camel Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel PQC component. The camel-pqc component persists post-quantum key metadata (KeyMetadata) through pluggable KeyLifecycleManager implementations. HashicorpVaultKeyLifecycleManager and AwsSecretsManagerKeyLifecycleManager read that metadata back from the configured secret backend by deserializing a Base64-wrapped value with a raw java.io.ObjectInputStream.readObject() and no ObjectInputFilter or class allow-list; the cast to KeyMetadata happens only after readObject() returns, so any readObject() side effects in a crafted object run before the type check. The same unfiltered legacy-migration read also remained in FileBasedKeyLifecycleManager (for the stored KeyPair and KeyMetadata). A principal who can write to the operator-controlled backend that holds these values - the HashiCorp Vault KV path, or the AWS Secrets Manager secret (requiring a Vault token or secretsmanager:PutSecretValue) - could store a crafted serialized object that is deserialized during normal key-lifecycle operations, potentially leading to code execution in the context of the application that manages the keys. This is an incomplete-remediation follow-on to CVE-2026-40048 (CAMEL-23200), which changed FileBasedKeyLifecycleManager to store metadata as JSON / PKCS#8 / X.509 but did not add an ObjectInputFilter, did not cover the Vault and AWS sibling managers, and left FileBasedKeyLifecycleManager's own legacy-migration deserialization unfiltered. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, restrict write access to the key backend so that only the application's own identity can write the camel-pqc secrets (least-privilege HashiCorp Vault policies and secretsmanager:PutSecretValue IAM), and keep the PQC key material in a backend separate from any data that less-trusted principals can write. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-53582exploit 7.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.10, the Trust module stores attacker-controlled certificate authority and certificate refid values and interpolates them into XPath expressions in src/opnsense/mvc/app/models/OPNsense/Trust/FieldTypes/CAsField.php and src/opnsense/mvc/app/models/OPNsense/Trust/FieldTypes/CertificatesField.php. A user with CA Manager or Certificate Manager privileges can submit a crafted refid and repeatedly retrieve the object to obtain a boolean refcount oracle, allowing values in config.xml to be recovered character by character. Exposed values can include password hashes, API credentials, certificate private keys, VPN key material, and high-availability credentials, enabling privilege escalation and compromise of other security domains. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.10. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-0092exploit 10.0 critical 0.00% google, android In Package Manager, there is a possible device lock controller bypass due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-57851exploit 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet MSI Feature Manager contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the KernCoreLib64.sys kernel driver that allows any locally logged-on user to perform arbitrary physical memory read/write and unrestricted I/O port operations by accessing exposed IOCTL handlers without administrator privileges. Attackers can exploit the accessible device object through IOCTL handlers to manipulate kernel objects, tamper with kernel-mode callbacks, bypass Protected Process Light protections, and disable security software. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-40000exploit 1.8 low 0.00% no CPE yet The Activity zte.com.cn.filer/zte.com.cn.filer.FilePreViewActivity within ZTE File Manager is designed to preview compressed files. Third-party applications can launch this Activity and supply arbitrary file paths (e.g., content://zte.com.cn.filer.fileprovider/root_path), enabling file access with the privilege level of ZTE File Manager. This allows unrooted devices to read files under certain system directories such as /data/data and /data/local/tmp. If access restrictions do not block untrusted applications, additional directories may also be accessible. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-105944 10.0 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Apache Pulsar Manager is a web console for administering Apache Pulsar clusters. It has its own user accounts and login, and it can be configured with an HTTP authentication credential, such as a token, that it uses to call the Pulsar admin API on behalf of its users. Pulsar Manager has the following security issues: - The operation for creating the initial administrator (superuser) account is available without authentication, and it remains available after the instance has been initialized. Anyone who can reach Pulsar Manager can create an additional administrator account at any time and log in with it. This issue affects versions 0.3.0 and later. - Requests to the Pulsar admin API that Pulsar Manager proxies to the configured Pulsar cluster are not subject to Pulsar Manager's authentication. Version 0.2.0 checks the caller's permissions for some of these requests, but not for all of them. An unauthenticated user can therefore use Pulsar Manager to send requests to the Pulsar admin API, which the cluster processes with the credential configured in Pulsar Manager. - The destination of a proxied request can be chosen by the requester, and Pulsar Manager attaches its configured Pulsar admin credential to the request. An unauthenticated user can make Pulsar Manager send this credential to a host of the user's choosing, and the credential can then be used directly against the Pulsar cluster. - In versions 0.3.0 and later, Pulsar Manager does not distinguish between privilege levels of its accounts. Every account, including one created through the first issue, effectively has full administrative privileges in Pulsar Manager. The impact depends on the version and the deployment. In versions 0.3.0 and later, any user who can reach Pulsar Manager over the network can take full control of Pulsar Manager. In all versions, when Pulsar Manager is configured with an HTTP authentication credential for a Pulsar cluster, any user who can reach Pulsar Manager can perform the Pulsar admin operations that this credential permits and can obtain the credential itself. When Pulsar Manager is configured with the token signing key of a Pulsar cluster, an administrator of Pulsar Manager can create tokens for the cluster. Apache Pulsar Manager is no longer maintained and is completely unsupported. The Apache Pulsar PMC has retired it. There are no supported versions, and no further releases, fixes or security updates will be made for any version. These issues will not be fixed. Using Pulsar Manager is not recommended. Users should stop using Pulsar Manager, remove existing deployments, and move to one of the alternatives described in the Administration UI documentation (https://pulsar.apache.org/docs/administration-ui). Users who have exposed Pulsar Manager configured with a Pulsar credential or token signing key should also consider replacing that credential or key. Until a deployment is removed, users should not expose Pulsar Manager to untrusted networks, and should restrict network access to it to trusted administrators. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-9152 9.8 critical 1.0% wso2, api_control_plane, api_manager An improper privilege management vulnerability exists in WSO2 API Manager due to missing authentication and authorization checks in the keymanager-operations Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) endpoint. A malicious user can exploit this flaw to generate access tokens with elevated privileges, potentially leading to administrative access and the ability to perform unauthorized operations. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-90531 9.6 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Adobe Experience Manager is affected by an Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference ('XXE') vulnerability that could result in privilege escalation. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated access to internal resources. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-17601 8.9 high 1.0% sonatype, nexus_repository_manager A user holding a permission to update privilege definitions could modify a wildcard privilege already assigned to their own role to grant broader permissions than they were authorized to hold, including full administrative access, without any additional authorization check or role reassignment. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-66429 8.8 high 1.0% cpanel An issue was discovered in cPanel 110 through 132. A directory traversal vulnerability within the Team Manager API allows for overwrite of an arbitrary file. This can allow for privilege escalation to the root user. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-59245 8.1 high 1.0% apache, apache-airflow-providers-fab In the Apache Airflow FAB auth manager, a DAG whose `dag_id` is `DAGs` collided with the global all-DAGs permission resource name produced by `resource_name()`, so a user granted per-DAG `access_control` on that one DAG was silently granted the global all-DAGs permission (privilege escalation). The escalation triggers when a DAG named `DAGs` exists and a lower-privileged user is given per-DAG access to it, granting that user read/edit access to every DAG. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-fab` 3.7.2 or later, which disambiguates the resource-name collision. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-44252 7.7 high 1.0% wazuh Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.0.0 until 4.14.5, Wazuh Manager allows a low-privilege read-only API user with manager:read permission to retrieve the cluster key from the element in ossec.conf through GET /manager/configuration?raw=true. An attacker with network access to TCP port 1516 can use the disclosed Fernet key to impersonate a cluster worker and submit distributed API requests containing attacker-controlled rbac_permissions with rbac_mode set to black. Because the master trusts the worker-supplied authorization context, the attacker can create users, assign administrator roles, access credentials and API tokens, modify configuration, and execute actions across agents. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.5. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-75910 7.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet Incorrect privilege assignment in the ClickHouse connector deployment template in Amazon Athena Federated Query prior to v2026.17.1 could allow an authenticated remote user to read arbitrary AWS Secrets Manager secrets in the deploying account by pointing the connector's connection string at an unrelated secret and at a database endpoint under the user's control, causing the connector to transmit the secret to that endpoint. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-athena-query-federation connectors version v2026.17.1 or later and ensure that any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. Alternatively, to remediate this issue, users should redeploy the connector with the current template and supply a non-empty SecretNamePrefix value. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-104798 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.7. The public `mcs` GET parameter is reflected into post content unsanitized before WordPress core's `do_shortcode` filter runs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to inject a nested `[my_calendar above=...]` shortcode; `mc_generate_calendar_nav()` then splits the `above` attribute on commas and dispatches each element via `call_user_func()` with no authentication, authorization, or callable allowlist check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to invoke arbitrary loaded PHP functions, enabling a call chain in which the shortcode `$params` array is passed to `edit_user()` — which PHP coerces to integer `1` as the `$user_id` argument — overwriting the credentials of the initial Administrator account (user ID 1) and granting the attacker full wp-admin access. Exploitation is trivially reachable via the plugin's auto-generated `/my-calendar/` page, which is publicly accessible by default upon plugin activation. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-7813 9.4 critical 0.00% pgadmin, pgadmin_4 Authorization vulnerability in pgAdmin 4 server mode affecting Server Groups, Servers, Shared Servers, Background Processes, and Debugger modules. Multiple endpoints fetched user-owned objects without filtering by the requesting user's identity. An authenticated user could access another user's private servers, server groups, background processes, and debugger function arguments by guessing object IDs. Additionally, the Shared Servers feature contained multiple issues including credential leakage (passexec_cmd, passfile, SSL keys), privilege escalation via writable passexec_cmd (a shell command executed when establishing the connection) allowing arbitrary command execution in the owner's process context, and owner-data corruption via SQLAlchemy session mutations. Several owner-only fields (passexec_cmd, passexec_expiration, db_res, db_res_type) were writable by non-owners through the API, and additional fields (kerberos_conn, tags, post_connection_sql) lacked per-user persistence so non-owner edits mutated the owner's record. Fix centralises access control via a new server_access module, scopes all user-owned models with a UserScopedMixin, returns HTTP 410 from connection_manager when access is denied in server mode, suppresses owner-only fields for non-owners across the merge / API response / ServerManager paths, and adds an explicit owner-only write guard. The remediation landed in two pull requests; both are referenced. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.15. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-111691 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet WIMOOR through commit ec86736 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows attackers to impersonate any tenant and privilege level by sending an unsigned X-USERINFO header. Attackers reaching backend service ports directly, bypassing the gateway, can forge companyid and manager or admin usertype values to read and modify other tenants' orders, finance data, and Amazon seller authorizations. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-45176 8.9 high 0.00% paloaltonetworks, idira_endpoint_privilege_manager Idira Endpoint Privilege Manager Agent versions prior to 26.5 exhibit improper access control within high-privileged agent components. A local, low-privileged attacker could exploit this by manipulating an internal communication mechanism or file operation. Under specific circumstances, this could potentially allow the attacker to bypass permission restrictions and execute unauthorized local actions with elevated privileges. CyberArk Security Bulletin: CA26-19 Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-30156 8.9 high 0.00% no CPE yet Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the CephX authentication protocol encrypts tickets with AES-128-CBC in an unauthenticated mode that uses a hard-coded initialization vector and no message authentication, allowing an attacker to forge credentials and gain cluster-wide access. Because the ciphertext is malleable and the monitor will encrypt attacker-chosen entity names, an attacker holding one low-privilege key and able to observe CephX traffic can use the monitor as an encryption oracle and splice ciphertext blocks into valid tickets for privileged entities such as Manager, MDS, and OSD. The same lack of authentication also lets an attacker with CephX permissions escalate privileges by flipping a single bit in a service ticket to set its allow_all field to true. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-63280 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Inconsistent CSRF token checks / privilege checks in Regular Labs conditions manager - Conditions administration did not consistently enforce tokens and component/mapped-item permissions. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64791 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Inconsistent CSRF token checks / privilege checks in Regular Labs Extension Manager - Administrator routes and install/update/uninstall processing did not consistently enforce component-management and installation permissions. An unauthorized backend user or CSRF attack could install, update or remove extensions. Sat 24 Oct

CVE-2024-58390 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Frappe before 14.81.4 and 15.x before 15.41.0 contains an improper privilege management vulnerability involving a certain document action that permits escalation from the Website User role to System Manager. Authenticated attackers with Website User access can combine this document action with additional steps to obtain administrative System Manager privileges in the Frappe application. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-58165 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet OpenZiti through 2.0.0, fixed in commit 3027fdf, contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated non-admin identities with fine-grained enrollment management permissions to create enrollments for any identity, including the default administrator, because the ApplyCreate function in controller/model/enrollment_manager.go verifies only that the target identity exists without performing authorization checks binding the caller to the target identity. Attackers can redeem the resulting one-time token through the unauthenticated client API enrollment endpoint to obtain a client certificate authenticating as the targeted admin identity, yielding full administrative control of the controller and the zero-trust overlay it manages. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-10748 8.6 high 0.00% sonatype, nexus_repository_manager An authenticated user with the nx-licensing-create privilege can upload a specially crafted license file to execute arbitrary operating system commands as the Nexus process user in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3 versions before 3.92.0. Sun 25 Oct

CVE-2026-45175 8.5 high 0.00% paloaltonetworks, idira_endpoint_privilege_manager Idira Endpoint Privilege Manager Agent versions prior to 26.5 exhibit improper access control within internal agent validation processes. A local attacker could potentially bypass built-in security controls or cryptographic validations. Under specific circumstances, this could allow the attacker to circumvent agent self-defense mechanisms and execute unauthorized operations. CyberArk Security Bulletin: CA26-19 Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42924 8.5 high 0.00% f5, big-ip_access_policy_manager, big-ip_advanced_firewall_manager, big-ip_advanced_web_application_firewall An authenticated attacker with the Resource Administrator or Administrator role can create SNMP configuration objects through iControl SOAP resulting in privilege escalation. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45174 8.5 high 0.00% paloaltonetworks, idira_endpoint_privilege_manager Idira Endpoint Privilege Manager Linux Agent versions prior to 26.5 allow a local attacker to potentially compromise the agent daemon initialization. CyberArk Security Bulletin: CA26-19 Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-62509 8.1 high 0.00% filerise FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to version 1.4.0, a business logic flaw in FileRise’s file/folder handling allows low-privilege users to perform unauthorized operations (view/delete/modify) on files created by other users. The root cause was inferring ownership/visibility from folder names (e.g., a folder named after a username) and missing server-side authorization/ownership checks across file operation endpoints. This amounted to an IDOR pattern: an attacker could operate on resources identified only by predictable names. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0 and further hardened in version 1.5.0. A workaround for this issue involves restricting non-admin users to read-only or disable delete/rename APIs server-side, avoid creating top-level folders named after other usernames, and adding server-side checks that verify ownership before delete/rename/move. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-62510 8.1 high 0.00% filerise FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. In version 1.4.0, a regression allowed folder visibility/ownership to be inferred from folder names. Low-privilege users could see or interact with folders matching their username and, in some cases, other users’ content. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.0, where it introduces explicit per-folder ACLs (owners/read/write/share/read_own) and strict server-side checks across list, read, write, share, rename, copy/move, zip, and WebDAV paths. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-68821 7.8 high 0.00% microsoft, app_installer Improper privilege management in Windows Package Manager allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. Sat 24 Oct

CVE-2026-109381 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Mage Eventpress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.7.8 This is due to the mep_grant_shop_manager_access() function hooking user_has_cap and unconditionally granting manage_options whenever an attacker-controllable request marker matches — most notably $_GET['page'] starting with 'mep_' or 'mpwem_', which is never validated against an actually registered EventPress screen. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator by appending ?page=mep_x to core admin URLs (options-general. CVE-2026-57493 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise stores the isAdmin flag in remember-me tokens and restores that stale value during automatic login instead of resolving the account's current role from users.txt. A user who was issued a token while an administrator can retain administrator access after demotion, and token rotation copies the stale privilege into each replacement token. Exploitation requires possession of the pre-demotion remember-me token. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-62686 6.2 medium 0.00% plugin-alliance, installation_manager A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Plugin Alliance InstallationHelper service included with Plugin Alliance Installation Manager v1.4.0 on macOS. Due to the absence of a hardened runtime and a __RESTRICT segment, a local user may exploit the DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES environment variable to inject a dynamic library, potentially resulting in code execution with elevated privileges. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2025-55076 6.2 medium 0.00% plugin-alliance, installation_manager A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the InstallationHelper service included with Plugin Alliance Installation Manager v1.4.0 for macOS. CVE-2026-12003 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet To allow builds of Python to be run from an in-tree layout (rather than an installed file layout), the VPATH variable is defined at build time and used to locate certain landmarks - specifically, Modules/setup.local. When this landmark is found relative to VPATH relative to the executable, Python assumes it is running in a source tree and generates a different default sys.path. This code remains in release builds, so that release-ready builds can be built in-tree. On Windows, since builds are written to 'PCbuild/', the value of VPATH is set to '..\..', which results in a landmark of '..\..\Modules\setup.local'. This path is outside the install directory of Python, and may have different permissions, potentially allowing a low-privilege user to create the landmark and an alternative `Lib` folder that will be discovered by an otherwise restricted install. Such a setup occurs with the legacy default install location for all users (in the now superseded EXE installer), due to how Windows allows all users to create folders in the root directory of their OS drive. Our recommended mitigation on Windows is to migrate away from the legacy installer and use the new [Python install manager](https://www.python.org/downloads/latest/pymanager/) to install for the current user. Installs where the directory two levels above the Python installation directory have equivalent permissions are unaffected (in general, a per-user install cannot be modified at all by other users, removing any escalation of privilege risk, and could be directly modified by a privileged user, making the potential tampering irrelevant). Alternative mitigations might include preemptively creating and restricting access to a `Modules` directory. Be aware that only 3.13 and 3.14 will receive updated legacy installers - earlier fixes are only provided as sources. Platforms other than Windows allow VPATH to be overridden, but as they don't usually use a separated directory in the build for binaries, are unlikely to have a landmark reference outside of the install directory. The landmark detection involving VPATH is a fallback for when a more specific landmark - .\pybuilddir.txt - is absent, and was included for compatibility. Future releases of Python will no longer include the fallback, and so builds will need to generate or preserve the pybuilddir.txt file in order to work in-tree. This landmark file has been generated on Windows since 3.11, and on other platforms for longer. Sun 25 Oct
