| CVE-2026-11894 | 5.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Realtek BEE Bluetooth HCI driver's send callback, bt_hci_bee_send() in drivers/bluetooth/hci/hci_bee.c, violated the bt_hci_driver_api buffer-ownership contract. That contract requires the driver to consume (unref) the transmit net_buf only on success; on an error return the host caller retains ownership and unrefs the buffer itself. The pre-fix code routed all error paths through a shared cleanup label that unconditionally called net_buf_unref(buf) before returning the error code. Because the host TX paths (in subsys/bluetooth/host/hci_core.c) unref the buffer again after send() returns an error, the buffer is freed twice: the driver returns it to its net_buf pool and the host then unrefs the already-freed buffer, corrupting the shared pool / underflowing the reference count (CWE-415). The same error branch additionally dereferenced buf->len inside a LOG_ERR call after the buffer had already been unref'd, a read of freed memory (CWE-416) that is compiled in at the default error log level. The failing edges are reached when the controller's host-to-controller buffer allocation fails or the controller send fails (resource-exhaustion / IO conditions). A remote Bluetooth peer can push the device toward these conditions indirectly by driving heavy host transmit activity, at which point the double-free corrupts the host net_buf pool and most likely crashes the device, with residual potential for further memory corruption. The impact is confined to builds using this specific Realtek BEE HCI driver. The fix returns early from each error path without unreffing and unrefs the buffer only on the success path, restoring the ownership contract and eliminating both the double-free and the use-after-free read. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2025-39928 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: rtl9300: ensure data length is within supported range Add an explicit check for the xfer length to 'rtl9300_i2c_config_xfer' to ensure the data length isn't within the supported range. In particular a data length of 0 is not supported by the hardware and causes unintended or destructive behaviour. This limitation becomes obvious when looking at the register documentation [1]. 4 bits are reserved for DATA_WIDTH and the value of these 4 bits is used as N + 1, allowing a data length range of 1 <= len <= 16. Affected by this is the SMBus Quick Operation which works with a data length of 0. Passing 0 as the length causes an underflow of the value due to: (len - 1) & 0xf and effectively specifying a transfer length of 16 via the registers. This causes a 16-byte write operation instead of a Quick Write. For example, on SFP modules without write-protected EEPROM this soft-bricks them by overwriting some initial bytes. For completeness, also add a quirk for the zero length. [1] https://svanheule.net/realtek/longan/register/i2c_mst1_ctrl2 | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2022-49092 | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv4: fix route with nexthop object delete warning FRR folks have hit a kernel warning[1] while deleting routes[2] which is caused by trying to delete a route pointing to a nexthop id without specifying nhid but matching on an interface. That is, a route is found but we hit a warning while matching it. The warning is from fib_info_nh() in include/net/nexthop.h because we run it on a fib_info with nexthop object. The call chain is: inet_rtm_delroute -> fib_table_delete -> fib_nh_match (called with a nexthop fib_info and also with fc_oif set thus calling fib_info_nh on the fib_info and triggering the warning). The fix is to not do any matching in that branch if the fi has a nexthop object because those are managed separately. I.e. we should match when deleting without nh spec and should fail when deleting a nexthop route with old-style nh spec because nexthop objects are managed separately, e.g.: $ ip r show 1.2.3.4/32 1.2.3.4 nhid 12 via 192.168.11.2 dev dummy0 $ ip r del 1.2.3.4/32 $ ip r del 1.2.3.4/32 nhid 12 <both should work> $ ip r del 1.2.3.4/32 dev dummy0 <should fail with ESRCH> [1] [ 523.462226] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 523.462230] WARNING: CPU: 14 PID: 22893 at include/net/nexthop.h:468 fib_nh_match+0x210/0x460 [ 523.462236] Modules linked in: dummy rpcsec_gss_krb5 xt_socket nf_socket_ipv4 nf_socket_ipv6 ip6table_raw iptable_raw bpf_preload xt_statistic ip_set ip_vs_sh ip_vs_wrr ip_vs_rr ip_vs xt_mark nf_tables xt_nat veth nf_conntrack_netlink nfnetlink xt_addrtype br_netfilter overlay dm_crypt nfsv3 nfs fscache netfs vhost_net vhost vhost_iotlb tap tun xt_CHECKSUM xt_MASQUERADE xt_conntrack 8021q garp mrp ipt_REJECT nf_reject_ipv4 ip6table_mangle ip6table_nat iptable_mangle iptable_nat nf_nat nf_conntrack nf_defrag_ipv6 nf_defrag_ipv4 iptable_filter bridge stp llc rfcomm snd_seq_dummy snd_hrtimer rpcrdma rdma_cm iw_cm ib_cm ib_core ip6table_filter xt_comment ip6_tables vboxnetadp(OE) vboxnetflt(OE) vboxdrv(OE) qrtr bnep binfmt_misc xfs vfat fat squashfs loop nvidia_drm(POE) nvidia_modeset(POE) nvidia_uvm(POE) nvidia(POE) intel_rapl_msr intel_rapl_common snd_hda_codec_realtek snd_hda_codec_generic ledtrig_audio snd_hda_codec_hdmi btusb btrtl iwlmvm uvcvideo btbcm snd_hda_intel edac_mce_amd [ 523.462274] videobuf2_vmalloc videobuf2_memops btintel snd_intel_dspcfg videobuf2_v4l2 snd_intel_sdw_acpi bluetooth snd_usb_audio snd_hda_codec mac80211 snd_usbmidi_lib joydev snd_hda_core videobuf2_common kvm_amd snd_rawmidi snd_hwdep snd_seq videodev ccp snd_seq_device libarc4 ecdh_generic mc snd_pcm kvm iwlwifi snd_timer drm_kms_helper snd cfg80211 cec soundcore irqbypass rapl wmi_bmof i2c_piix4 rfkill k10temp pcspkr acpi_cpufreq nfsd auth_rpcgss nfs_acl lockd grace sunrpc drm zram ip_tables crct10dif_pclmul crc32_pclmul crc32c_intel ghash_clmulni_intel nvme sp5100_tco r8169 nvme_core wmi ipmi_devintf ipmi_msghandler fuse [ 523.462300] CPU: 14 PID: 22893 Comm: ip Tainted: P OE 5.16.18-200.fc35.x86_64 #1 [ 523.462302] Hardware name: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. | CVE-2026-90029 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: storage: realtek_cr: fix use-after-free on disconnect realtek_cr_destructor() calls timer_delete() before the chip containing the timer is freed. The timer callback may still be running and can rearm itself, resulting in a use-after-free. Use timer_shutdown_sync() to wait for the callback and prevent further rearming. Do this unconditionally because ss_en may be changed after the timer is armed. Move timer_setup() into init_realtek_cr() so the timer is initialized before any failure path can invoke the destructor. Found by static analysis. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-80999 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: realtek: use gpiod_set_value_cansleep for reset GPIO rtl83xx_reset_assert() and rtl83xx_reset_deassert() are only called from the probe path, which may sleep and is not timing-critical. When the reset GPIO is provided by a sleeping controller such as an I2C I/O expander, gpiod_set_value() warns: WARNING: drivers/gpio/gpiolib.c:4030 at gpiod_set_value+0x44/0x80, CPU#1: kworker/u16:4/61 Hardware name: B&O MAP CA33 Rev f (UNKNOWN) (DT) Workqueue: events_unbound deferred_probe_work_func pc : gpiod_set_value+0x44/0x80 lr : rtl83xx_probe+0x1d8/0x3a0 Call trace: gpiod_set_value+0x44/0x80 (P) rtl83xx_probe+0x1d8/0x3a0 realtek_mdio_probe+0x24/0xa0 mdio_probe+0x38/0x78 really_probe+0xc4/0x3e0 __driver_probe_device+0x15c/0x1b8 driver_probe_device+0xb4/0x120 __device_attach_driver+0xb8/0x1a0 bus_for_each_drv+0x88/0xf0 __device_attach+0xa0/0x1d8 device_initial_probe+0x54/0x68 bus_probe_device+0x38/0xa0 deferred_probe_work_func+0xb8/0x120 process_one_work+0x184/0x4e8 worker_thread+0x188/0x308 kthread+0x130/0x150 ret_from_fork+0x10/0x20 Switch both helpers to gpiod_set_value_cansleep() so such a reset GPIO can be used without triggering the warning. The reset GPIO has been driven with the non-sleeping gpiod_set_value() since the driver was added in v4.19. The call has since been refactored across several files - from realtek-smi.c / realtek-mdio.c into the common rtl83xx.c module and then into the rtl83xx_reset_assert() and rtl83xx_reset_deassert() helpers (both in v6.9). This patch therefore applies as-is only to kernels that carry those helpers (v6.9+); older stable kernels need the same gpiod_set_value_cansleep() conversion at the corresponding open-coded call sites. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68180 | unscored | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix NULL deref in debugfs odm_combine_segments When a connector is connected but inactive (e.g., disabled by desktop environments), pipe_ctx->stream_res.tg will be destroyed. Then, reading odm_combine_segments causes kernel NULL pointer dereference.
