| CVE-2023-48795exploit ×5 | 5.9 medium | 94.0% | openbsd, putty, openssh, filezilla_client | The SSH transport protocol with certain OpenSSH extensions, found in OpenSSH before 9.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to bypass integrity checks such that some packets are omitted (from the extension negotiation message), and a client and server may consequently end up with a connection for which some security features have been downgraded or disabled, aka a Terrapin attack. This occurs because the SSH Binary Packet Protocol (BPP), implemented by these extensions, mishandles the handshake phase and mishandles use of sequence numbers. For example, there is an effective attack against SSH's use of ChaCha20-Poly1305 (and CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC). The bypass occurs in [email protected] and (if CBC is used) the [email protected] MAC algorithms. This also affects Maverick Synergy Java SSH API before 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, Dropbear through 2022.83, Ssh before 5.1.1 in Erlang/OTP, PuTTY before 0.80, AsyncSSH before 2.14.2, golang.org/x/crypto before 0.17.0, libssh before 0.10.6, libssh2 through 1.11.0, Thorn Tech SFTP Gateway before 3.4.6, Tera Term before 5.1, Paramiko before 3.4.0, jsch before 0.2.15, SFTPGo before 2.5.6, Netgate pfSense Plus through 23.09.1, Netgate pfSense CE through 2.7.2, HPN-SSH through 18.2.0, ProFTPD before 1.3.8b (and before 1.3.9rc2), ORYX CycloneSSH before 2.3.4, NetSarang XShell 7 before Build 0144, CrushFTP before 10.6.0, ConnectBot SSH library before 2.2.22, Apache MINA sshd through 2.11.0, sshj through 0.37.0, TinySSH through 20230101, trilead-ssh2 6401, LANCOM LCOS and LANconfig, FileZilla before 3.66.4, Nova before 11.8, PKIX-SSH before 14.4, SecureCRT before 9.4.3, Transmit5 before 5.10.4, Win32-OpenSSH before 9.5.0.0p1-Beta, WinSCP before 6.2.2, Bitvise SSH Server before 9.32, Bitvise SSH Client before 9.33, KiTTY through 0.76.1.13, the net-ssh gem 7.2.0 for Ruby, the mscdex ssh2 module before 1.15.0 for Node.js, the thrussh library before 0.35.1 for Rust, and the Russh crate before 0.40.2 for Rust. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-119528 | 7.8 high | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in GIMP. The PSD plug-in’s image resource header loader uses an incorrect destination size when copying a converted resource name into a fixed stack buffer. Opening a crafted PSD file can cause a stack-based buffer overflow, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. | 3 h ago |
| CVE-2026-103963 | 7.5 high | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in glib-networking. When establishing connections using Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.3, the client-side session cache does not limit the number of session tickets retained for a single host. A malicious server can exploit this by sending excessive session ticket messages, causing the client application to continuously consume memory. This unbounded memory growth can exhaust system memory, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | 13 h ago |
| CVE-2023-6270 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7, red hat enterprise linux 8 | A flaw was found in the ATA over Ethernet (AoE) driver in the Linux kernel. The aoecmd_cfg_pkts() function improperly updates the refcnt on `struct net_device`, and a use-after-free can be triggered by racing between the free on the struct and the access through the `skbtxq` global queue. This could lead to a denial of service condition or potential code execution. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2023-3397 | 7.0 high | 0.00% | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7, red hat enterprise linux 8 | A race condition occurred between the functions lmLogClose and txEnd in JFS, in the Linux Kernel, executed in different threads. This flaw allows a local attacker with normal user privileges to crash the system or leak internal kernel information. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93006 | 6.8 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The TFTP server can serve the wrong file contents because a recently used transfer cache is not invalidated when a transfer finishes. An attacker on the local network who can request a TFTP file may cause a later client to receive previously cached data instead of the requested file. In PXE network-boot environments this can substitute attacker-chosen boot content for a victim machine. | 16 h ago |
| CVE-2026-93008 | 6.8 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. When following a CNAME in a DNS response, the resolver can cache records for the CNAME target without checking that those records belong to the responding server's authorized zone. In split-DNS deployments that send some domains to a specific upstream, an attacker who controls that upstream can inject cache entries for unrelated names. Later clients may then receive attacker-chosen addresses for those names. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-115455 | 6.5 medium | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in GCC libstdc++. When an application extracts data into a bitset from a wide-character stream, internal stack memory allocation fails to properly account for character size and alignment. An attacker capable of supplying crafted input to an affected application could trigger a stack-based buffer overflow leading denial of service (DoS). | 10 h ago |
| CVE-2026-117548 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | red hat, red hat directory server 11, red hat directory server 12, red hat directory server 13 | A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in 389-ds-base. This flaw occurs when a ModifyDN (rename) operation uses an attribute's schema alias name (such as "commonName") instead of its canonical name (such as "cn") as the new relative distinguished name. An authenticated attacker with the ModifyDN (rename) permission on the affected entry can use this flaw to crash the directory server, causing a denial of service. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-114690 | 6.2 medium | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in GCC. An out-of-bounds memory access vulnerability exists in the libstdc++ parallel search implementation due to an undersized internal buffer. A local attacker can exploit this flaw by providing crafted search data to an application compiled with parallel mode, causing the process to crash and leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). | 1 h ago |
| CVE-2026-114691 | 5.9 medium | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in the libstdc++ component of GCC. An attacker who can provide an excessively large element count to a boolean vector (std::vector<bool>) constructor can trigger an integer wrap during internal memory calculations. This issue leaves the container in an inconsistent state, leading to out-of-bounds memory access and resulting in an application crash or a Denial of Service (DoS) during subsequent operations. | 10 h ago |
| CVE-2026-118593 | 5.9 medium | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 kernel builds. An incomplete backport of the CVE-2026-46099 fix in RHEL 9.6 through 9.10 left a local_bh imbalance in seg6_input_core(), where the drop path returns with bottom halves still disabled. This can lead to softirq starvation and denial of service on systems with SRv6 tunnels configured. Upstream and RHEL 10 are not affected. | 10 h ago |
| CVE-2026-76781 | 5.5 medium | — | red hat, red hat hardened images, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in libxml2. A local user or an attacker providing a specially crafted XML catalog can trigger a NULL pointer dereference during XML catalog parsing. This occurs when a `nextCatalog` element lacks its mandatory `catalog` attribute, leading to the application crashing and causing a Denial of Service (DoS). | 11 h ago |
| CVE-2026-93007 | 5.3 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The TCP DNS service uses a small fixed pool of child processes and does not set a receive timeout on client connections. A remote attacker can open idle TCP connections to port 53 and occupy the entire pool, preventing new TCP DNS connections and DNSSEC validation that requires TCP fallback. UDP DNS resolution continues, and occupied slots are released after a fixed lifetime. | 10 h ago |
| CVE-2026-93011 | 5.3 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. After a reduction of internal domain-name buffer sizes, the DNSSEC validator can write a few bytes past a name buffer when converting names to and from DNS wire format. An attacker who can cause the server to validate a crafted DNSSEC response may overwrite a small amount of adjacent heap metadata. DNSSEC support is not compiled in by default and must also be enabled at runtime. | 11 h ago |
| CVE-2026-18508 | 4.4 medium | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 8, red hat enterprise linux 9 | A flaw was found in GNU tar. When extracting an archive with the --one-top-level option, hardlink targets are not confined to the designated top-level directory and may resolve relative to the extraction working directory. A crafted archive can create hardlinks that escape the intended boundary and, when combined with a preexisting symbolic link under the working directory, may allow writing outside that boundary during a single extraction. | 4 h ago |
| CVE-2024-0340 | 4.4 medium | 0.00% | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 8, red hat enterprise linux 9, red hat enterprise linux 9.4 extended update support | A vulnerability was found in vhost_new_msg in drivers/vhost/vhost.c in the Linux kernel, which does not properly initialize memory in messages passed between virtual guests and the host operating system in the vhost/vhost.c:vhost_new_msg() function. This issue can allow local privileged users to read some kernel memory contents when reading from the /dev/vhost-net device file. | Thu 29 Oct |
| CVE-2026-93010 | 4.3 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. When DHCP leasequery is enabled without listing allowed source addresses, the server does not check who sent the query. A host on the local network can request DHCP lease records and learn assigned addresses, MAC addresses, hostnames, and related lease metadata. The feature is off unless an administrator turns it on. | 9 h ago |
| CVE-2026-93009 | 4.3 medium | — | red hat, red hat ceph storage 9, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in dnsmasq. The DHCPv6 client hostname parser can read one byte past the end of a crafted FQDN option because it checks the next label length before confirming the pointer is still inside the option. An attacker on the local network can trigger this with a single DHCPv6 packet. The extra byte is not returned to the client or logged, and no crash has been demonstrated. | 9 h ago |
| CVE-2026-115456 | 3.7 low | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in gcc. An attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by passing a string that is not null-terminated to the std::from_chars() function in the libstdc++ library. This issue triggers an out-of-bounds read beyond the allocated buffer, potentially leading to invalid data parsing or an application crash. | 1 h ago |
| CVE-2026-118475 | 3.6 low | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7, red hat enterprise linux 8 | A flaw was found in Eye of GNOME. When parsing a specially crafted PNG image containing malformed color profile metadata, the application fails to validate chunk boundaries while searching for a null terminator. An attacker could trick a user into opening a malicious image, causing the application to read past the allocated buffer. This issue can lead to an application crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially expose sensitive memory contents. | 16 h ago |
| CVE-2026-85498 | 3.5 low | 0.00% | red hat, red hat hardened images, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6 | A flaw was found in polkit. When processing input that begins with a null byte, an arithmetic error in the authentication agent helper causes an integer underflow during buffer length calculation, resulting in an out-of-bounds memory read. An attacker capable of supplying crafted input can trigger this flaw, potentially causing an application crash and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | 16 h ago |
| CVE-2026-112922 | 3.3 low | — | red hat, red hat enterprise linux 10, red hat enterprise linux 6, red hat enterprise linux 7 | A flaw was found in Ghostscript. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to process a specially crafted PDF or PostScript document containing malicious mesh shading data. Due to improper bounds validation during the processing of indexed color values, Ghostscript triggers an out-of-bounds memory read. Successful exploitation can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) through an application crash or result in limited information disclosure. | 1 h ago |
