| CVE | CVSS | EPSS | Vendor, product | Description | Modified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2025-14123 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.11. This is due to the plugin saving arbitrary meta keys under a registered option name without sufficient capability checks or key allowlist / restrictions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to set an arbitrary role (e.g., Administrator) when performing a profile update if a plugin or theme using this framework has added at least one user profile field that leverages Redux_Users::set_profile/set_section/set_field. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-103997 | 6.5 medium | — | davidanderson, redux framework | The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to view the entire Redux options payload — including plaintext password field values, API keys, license keys, and SMTP credentials — exposed in the inline redux_<opt_name> JavaScript block on wp-admin/profile.php. The Users extension is loaded automatically for every Redux instance registered by any installed theme or plugin, meaning any site running Redux Framework is affected regardless of whether the developer explicitly configured the Users extension. | 3 h ago |
| CVE-2026-116404 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Missing Authorization vulnerability in David Anderson Redux Framework redux-framework allows Lifting Sensitive Data Embedded in Cache. This issue affects Redux Framework: from n/a through 4.5.16. | Wed 28 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102918 | 6.4 medium | — | davidanderson, redux framework | The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.15 via the multi_media field. This is due to the field's renderer printing the stored value into an href attribute, a hidden input value and an HTML element without escaping, while every neighbouring attribute in the same method is wrapped in esc_attr(). It is compounded by Redux_Extension_Users::user_meta_save() evaluating a field's 'permissions' requirement against a user id taken from the request body ('checkuser_id') rather than the current user, so a Subscriber can write a field declared for 'manage_options'. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into their own profile record that execute when an administrator views that user's profile in the dashboard. Requires a theme or plugin that registers a multi_media field through the Redux Users API. | 16 h ago |
