CVE-2025-39682KEVexploit ×2 9.8 critical 3.0% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, simatic_cn_4100_firmware In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tls: fix handling of zero-length records on the rx_list Each recvmsg() call must process either - only contiguous DATA records (any number of them) - one non-DATA record If the next record has different type than what has already been processed we break out of the main processing loop. If the record has already been decrypted (which may be the case for TLS 1.3 where we don't know type until decryption) we queue the pending record to the rx_list. Next recvmsg() will pick it up from there. Queuing the skb to rx_list after zero-copy decrypt is not possible, since in that case we decrypted directly to the user space buffer, and we don't have an skb to queue (darg.skb points to the ciphertext skb for access to metadata like length). Only data records are allowed zero-copy, and we break the processing loop after each non-data record. So we should never zero-copy and then find out that the record type has changed. The corner case we missed is when the initial record comes from rx_list, and it's zero length. 19 Oct
CVE-2025-38502exploit 7.1 high 0.00% linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, simatic_cn_4100_firmware In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix oob access in cgroup local storage Lonial reported that an out-of-bounds access in cgroup local storage can be crafted via tail calls. Given two programs each utilizing a cgroup local storage with a different value size, and one program doing a tail call into the other. The verifier will validate each of the indivial programs just fine. However, in the runtime context the bpf_cg_run_ctx holds an bpf_prog_array_item which contains the BPF program as well as any cgroup local storage flavor the program uses. Helpers such as bpf_get_local_storage() pick this up from the runtime context: ctx = container_of(current->bpf_ctx, struct bpf_cg_run_ctx, run_ctx); storage = ctx->prog_item->cgroup_storage[stype]; if (stype == BPF_CGROUP_STORAGE_SHARED) ptr = &READ_ONCE(storage->buf)->data[0]; else ptr = this_cpu_ptr(storage->percpu_buf); For the second program which was called from the originally attached one, this means bpf_get_local_storage() will pick up the former program's map, not its own. With mismatching sizes, this can result in an unintended out-of-bounds access. To fix this issue, we need to extend bpf_map_owner with an array of storage_cookie[] to match on i) the exact maps from the original program if the second program was using bpf_get_local_storage(), or ii) allow the tail call combination if the second program was not using any of the cgroup local storage maps. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-40937 8.7 high 1.0% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V4.0.1). The affected application do not properly validate input parameters in its REST API, resulting in improper handling of unexpected arguments. This could allow an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with limited privileges. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2023-29131 10.0 critical 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V2.5). Affected device consists of an incorrect default value in the SSH configuration. This could allow an attacker to bypass network isolation. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-40938 9.2 critical 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V4.0.1). The affected device stores sensitive information in the firmware. This could allow an attacker to access and misuse this information, potentially impacting the device’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-22924 8.8 high 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V5.0). The affected application does not properly restrict unauthenticated connections and is susceptible to resource exhaustion conditions. This could allow an attacker to disrupt normal operations or perform unauthorized actions, potentially impacting system availability and integrity. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-22925 8.7 high 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V5.0). The affected application is susceptible to resource exhaustion when subjected to high volume of TCP SYN packets This could allow an attacker to render the service unavailable and cause denial-of-service conditions by overwhelming system resources. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-40940 6.9 medium 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V4.0.1). The affected application exhibits inconsistent SNMP behavior, such as unexpected service availability and unreliable configuration handling across protocol versions. This could allow an attacker to access sensitive data, potentially leading to a breach of confidentiality. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-40941 5.3 medium 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V4.0.1). The affected devices exposes server information in its responses. This could allow an attacker with network access to gain useful information, increasing the likelihood of targeted attacks. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-40939 5.1 medium 0.00% siemens, simatic_cn_4100_firmware A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC CN 4100 (All versions < V4.0.1). The affected device contains a USB port which allows unauthenticated connections. This could allow an attacker with physical access to the device to trigger reboot that could cause denial of service condition. Fri 23 Oct
