| CVE-2025-62168exploit ×3 | 7.5 high | 63.0% | squid-cache, squid | Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. In Squid versions prior to 7.2, a failure to redact HTTP authentication credentials in error handling allows information disclosure. The vulnerability allows a script to bypass browser security protections and learn the credentials a trusted client uses to authenticate. This potentially allows a remote client to identify security tokens or credentials used internally by a web application using Squid for backend load balancing. These attacks do not require Squid to be configured with HTTP authentication. The vulnerability is fixed in version 7.2. As a workaround, disable debug information in administrator mailto links generated by Squid by configuring squid.conf with email_err_data off. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47729exploit ×2 | 6.5 medium | 2.0% | squid-cache, squid | Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Prior to 7.6, due to an improper validation of syntactic correctness of input in the FTP gateway (src/clients/FtpGateway.cc), Squid is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read: when a listing entry date in the TypeA or TypeB directory-listing formats is not followed by a filename, parsing was not restricted to the input buffer, so a trusted client accessing a misbehaving FTP server through Squid's gateway feature could read memory from random unrelated transactions. This issue is fixed in version 7.6. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61642 | 7.7 high | 2.0% | no CPE yet | Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. From 3.3.0.1 to before 7.6, due to an improper enforcement of behavioral workflow bug, Squid is vulnerable to a Request Smuggling attack against HTTP/1.1 Transfer-Encoding. HTTP header parsing (`src/HttpHeader.cc`) accepted the bare` Transfer-Encoding:` identity form, which the HTTP specification prohibits because any transfer coding must be wrapped within chunked encoding. This problem allows a trusted client to perform an HTTP Request Smuggling attack when HTTP/1.1 is used, bypassing security mechanisms that may be in place between attacker and Squid. When there is an HTTP cache operating prior to the affected Squid, this Request Smuggling attack also allows the attacker to poison that web cache and store arbitrary malicious content at any URL for delivery to other clients' future requests. This issue is fixed in version 7.6. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50012 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | squid-cache, squid | Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Prior to 7.6, due to an improper input validation bug in cache digest reply handling (peerDigestSwapInMask in src/peer_digest.cc), Squid is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow: a cache digest's on-the-wire size may be larger than the mask_size declared within the digest, so a trusted peer sending a maliciously crafted reply to a cache_digest request message can trigger the overflow. This attack is limited to Squid instances compiled with the --enable-cache-digests option and configured with cache_peer entries. This issue is fixed in version 7.6. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-67738 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | squid/cachemgr.cgi in Webmin before 2.600 does not properly quote arguments. This is relevant if Webmin's Squid module and its Cache Manager feature are available, and an untrusted party is able to authenticate to Webmin and has certain Cache Manager permissions (the "cms" security option). | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-10720 | 5.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Canonical MicroCeph versions from the squid and tentacle track are vulnerable to a path traversal issue in the remote-import API. Holders of a trusted cluster mTLS certificate (such as enrolled cluster members) or join token can manipulate files in an imported remote cluster within the /var/snap/microceph confinement. This would allow daemon disruption and pollution of the cluster state. | Mon 26 Oct |
