CVE-2024-58366 9.0 critical 1.0% delskayn, surrealdb, rquickjs SurrealDB before 1.1.1 contains a format string vulnerability in the rquickjs Exception::throw_type function when scripting is enabled. Attackers with scripting privileges can supply format string sequences in error inputs to read arbitrary memory or execute code with SurrealDB process privileges. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58362 8.7 high 1.0% surrealdb SurrealDB before 1.5.5 (and 2.0.0-beta before 2.0.0-beta.3) accepts an arbitrary object in the signin and signup operations of the RPC API without recursively validating it for non-computed values. When a record access method defines a SIGNIN or SIGNUP query and the RPC API is exposed to untrusted users, an unauthenticated attacker can encode a binary object containing a subquery using the bincode serialization format and supply it in place of credentials. The subquery is then executed within the database owner's SIGNIN/SIGNUP query under a system user session with the editor role, allowing the attacker to select, create, update, and delete non-IAM resources (though not view the query results directly, and not affect IAM resources, which require the owner role). Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58368 8.7 high 1.0% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 1.1.0 fail to properly parse the ID, DB, and NS headers in HTTP REST API requests containing special characters. Unauthenticated attackers can send crafted HTTP requests with malformed header values to trigger an uncaught exception that crashes the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2025-71397 7.1 high 1.0% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 allows authenticated users with OWNER or EDITOR permissions (at the root, namespace, or database level) to define custom database functions via DEFINE FUNCTION using nested FOR loops. Although a single loop's iteration count is constrained, nesting multiple loops (e.g., each with 1,000,000 iterations) is not, so an attacker can execute a function that consumes all server CPU time. Configured timeouts do not stop the execution, rendering the server unresponsive to other queries and connections until it is manually restarted. 13 h ago
CVE-2025-71391 7.1 high 1.0% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain an uncaught exception vulnerability in the net module that allows authenticated users to crash the database. Attackers can send crafted HTTP queries containing null bytes to the /sql endpoint, causing an unhandled exception that crashes the SurrealDB instance and any dependent applications. 13 h ago
CVE-2025-71396 2.3 low 1.0% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 does not enforce a default execution-time limit on embedded JavaScript scripting functions when the scripting capability is explicitly enabled (via --allow-scripting or --allow-all). An authenticated attacker can submit long-running JavaScript functions to exhaust server resources and cause a denial of service. Scripting is disabled by default. 13 h ago
CVE-2025-71392 9.4 critical 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 fails to properly escape table and field names in the command-line export command. An authenticated System User with OWNER or EDITOR roles can create tables or fields with malicious names containing SurrealQL. When a higher-privileged user subsequently imports the exported backup, the injected SurrealQL executes, enabling privilege escalation and root-level takeover of the SurrealDB instance. Applications that let users define custom tables or fields are also exposed to a universal second-order SurrealQL injection even when query parameters are sanitized. 13 h ago
CVE-2023-54366 8.7 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 1.0.1 sets default table permissions to FULL instead of NONE, allowing SELECT, CREATE, UPDATE, and DELETE operations on tables without explicit permissions. Attackers with database access or unauthenticated users on publicly exposed instances can perform unrestricted operations on unprotected tables within their authorization scope. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-109343 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 allows cross-tenant access because the SurrealQL USE statement switches a session to any namespace/database without checking that the caller's authenticated level covers it. Authenticated namespace, database, or record users can switch to another tenant and read, create, update, or delete rows in tables whose PERMISSIONS allow it, such as PERMISSIONS FULL. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109334 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 does not check the caller-selected namespace or database against the level at which a namespace- or database-level system user authenticated, allowing cross-tenant access. An authenticated attacker can set the Surreal-NS/Surreal-DB headers on /sql or call the RPC use method to read, create, modify, and delete rows and read DEFINE PARAM values in another tenant where table PERMISSIONS allow it. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-41496 8.1 high 0.00% praison, praisonai, praisonaiagents PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai version 4.6.9 and praisonaiagents version 1.6.9, the fix for CVE-2026-40315 added input validation to SQLiteConversationStore only. Nine sibling backends — MySQL, PostgreSQL, async SQLite/MySQL/PostgreSQL, Turso, SingleStore, Supabase, SurrealDB — pass table_prefix straight into f-string SQL. Same root cause, same code pattern, same exploitation. 52 unvalidated injection points across the codebase. postgres.py additionally accepts an unvalidated schema parameter used directly in DDL. This issue has been patched in praisonai version 4.6.9 and praisonaiagents version 1.6.9. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2025-71395 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain a memory exhaustion vulnerability in the string::replace function that fails to restrict resulting string length when using regex patterns. An authenticated attacker can craft a malicious query to exhaust server memory through unbounded string allocations, causing denial of service. 13 h ago
CVE-2024-58357 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.1.0 contain an uncaught exception vulnerability in the rand::time() function that panics when unwrap is called on a None result from timestamp_opt. Authorized clients can repeatedly invoke rand::time() to reliably trigger server panics and cause denial of service. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58359 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.1.0 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the sorting mechanism when using ORDER BY rand() clause. Authorized clients can execute queries with ORDER BY rand() to trigger a panic in the sorting function, crashing the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58361 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.0.4 contain an uncaught exception handling vulnerability in the parser error rendering code when processing empty strings. Authorized clients can execute malformed queries with empty string conversions to record, duration, or datetime types that cause a panic in error rendering, crashing the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58364 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 1.2.1 contain an uncaught exception handling vulnerability in span rendering when parsing queries with errors on line terminator characters. Authorized clients can submit malformed queries that trigger a panic in the span rendering code, crashing the server and causing denial of service. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58365 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 1.2.0 contain an uncaught exception vulnerability in the query executor when processing calls to nonexistent built-in functions. Authorized clients can craft pre-parsed queries invoking nonexistent functions to trigger a panic that crashes the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58367 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.0.4 fail to properly enforce field permissions during SELECT, UPDATE, and DELETE operations, allowing authorized users to access unauthorized field values through various query techniques. Attackers can exploit SELECT VALUE operations, field aliasing, function arguments, WHERE clause filtering, RETURN BEFORE clauses, and SET clause references to leak protected field contents despite lacking SELECT permissions. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58369 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 1.1.1 fail to properly validate invocation of custom parameters and functions at root or namespace levels, causing server panic. Authorized clients can invoke these entities at unsupported levels to crash the SurrealDB server, resulting in denial of service. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2024-58370 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 1.1.0 fail to enforce recursion depth limits when parsing nested SurrealQL statements including IF, RELATE, and attribute access idioms. Authorized attackers can submit queries with excessive nesting depth to cause stack overflow and crash the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-109341 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows callers with table-level write permission to read SELECT-restricted fields by resolving JSON Patch pointers against the unreduced record. Attackers can use PATCH copy or move operations to copy hidden fields into readable destinations, or abuse test mismatch errors as a disclosure oracle. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-109335 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows record users to read values hidden by field-level SELECT permissions through COMPUTED fields. Attackers can select records whose readable COMPUTED fields derive from hidden fields, or use write RETURN clauses with $before/$after to expose hidden values. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109338 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows query-capable users to crash the server by reading non-ASCII header values in embedded JavaScript. Attackers with scripting enabled can read such values via Headers get(), entries(), values(), or getSetCookie(), or return them from fetch() endpoints, aborting the server process. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-109333 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated record users to read records in other namespaces or databases by resolving record ids through FETCH. Attackers can switch to a foreign namespace/database and name a known record id in a RETURN … FETCH query to read another tenant's data when table PERMISSIONS allow reads. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-63746 7.1 high 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 3.1.0 fail to enforce table SELECT permissions when traversing graph edges or back-references. Authenticated users can read records from any table reachable through graph edges regardless of the target table's PERMISSIONS FOR select clause. 8 Oct
CVE-2024-58358 6.9 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.1.0 contain a denial of service vulnerability in role conversion that allows privileged owner users to define users with nonexistent roles. Attackers can trigger an uncaught panic by signing in with a user assigned an invalid role, crashing the server. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-63734 6.9 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 3.2.0 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the SurrealML header parser that allows authenticated Owner-role users to crash the server by uploading a malformed .surml file to the /ml/import endpoint. Attackers can supply non-numeric input-dimensions or other malformed header fields that trigger unchecked unwrap calls, causing a panic that aborts the entire server process and denies service to all databases. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-109339 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB 3.1.0 before 3.3.0 lets Surrealism modules exhaust server memory because module stdout/stderr lines are buffered unbounded in host memory, bypassing the configured module memory limit. An attacker can run an Owner-installed malicious module that writes output without newlines, crashing the server and denying service to all namespaces and databases. 16 Oct
CVE-2025-71393 6.0 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.2.2 with scripting enabled fails to properly enforce recursion limits when native functions contain embedded JavaScript that issues new queries. Authenticated attackers can bypass the recursion limit by chaining native and JavaScript function calls to trigger infinite recursion and exhaust server memory. 13 h ago
CVE-2025-71398 5.8 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.2.2 fails to validate HTTP redirects in http functions, allowing authenticated users to bypass deny-net restrictions by redirecting to blocked IP addresses. Attackers can host a public server that redirects to denied network targets, enabling server-side request forgery to access internal endpoints and retrieve sensitive information. 13 h ago
CVE-2024-58363 5.3 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 1.5.4 fails to properly validate authentication when a scope user switches databases using the USE clause or use method. Attackers with an authenticated session can impersonate an unrelated user in a different database if a user record with an identical identifier exists, allowing unauthorized actions if permissions rely solely on the $auth parameter. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-109336 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows record users to read fields hidden by field-level SELECT permissions through LIVE SELECT projections. Attackers can project restricted fields from the unreduced $after or $before parameters under an alias to receive exact stored values in CREATE, UPDATE, and DELETE notifications. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-63309 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.1.5 fail to apply field-level SELECT permissions to ORDER BY clauses, allowing authenticated users to leak the relative ordering of restricted field values. Attackers can issue ORDER BY queries on indexed restricted fields to recover the hidden values' sort order across records, even though the field itself returns null as intended. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-109342 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the revoke RPC method that allows low-privileged or unauthenticated callers to invalidate other users' refresh tokens without proof of possession. Attackers can obtain grant identifiers via ACCESS SHOW ALL with VIEWER permission or leaked tokens, then permanently revoke refresh tokens to force re-authentication. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109337 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows record users to infer field values hidden by field-level SELECT permissions using LIVE SELECT WHERE predicates over $before or $after. Attackers can craft repeated predicates and observe whether notifications are delivered on CREATE, UPDATE, or DELETE to confirm or narrow restricted field values. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109340 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet SurrealDB from 3.1.0 before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated users to delete protected graph edges by triggering a REFERENCE ON DELETE CASCADE. Attackers with delete permission on a referenced table can delete a record whose cascade disables permission checks for edge cleanup, erasing edges despite the edge table's PERMISSIONS FOR delete clause. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-63761 5.3 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 3.1.0 silently substitutes the ES384 algorithm when a JWT access method is configured with ALGORITHM ES512 (DEFINE ACCESS ... TYPE JWT ALGORITHM ES512), because the underlying jsonwebtoken crate (v10.x) has no ES512 variant and the mapping defaults to ES384 without any error, warning, or log message. Users who supply the correct P-521 key for ES512 experience authentication handshake failures due to the curve mismatch with ES384 (which expects P-384), and tokens are rejected by external systems expecting genuine ES512 signatures. The flaw cannot be used to forge tokens or compromise data confidentiality or integrity, as ES384 remains cryptographically strong. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-63745 5.3 medium 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 3.1.0 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability where authenticated users can spoof composite record-id field values by writing to editable body fields. Attackers can bypass permission rules that gate access on id components like tenant isolation by setting same-named body fields to spoofed values that permission checks incorrectly read instead of the immutable id key. 8 Oct
CVE-2025-71394 2.3 low 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain a local file read vulnerability in the DEFINE ANALYZER statement that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files on the file system. Attackers with root, namespace, or database level privileges can point analyzers to arbitrary file paths and exfiltrate content from two-column tab-separated files. 13 h ago
CVE-2024-58356 2.3 low 0.00% surrealdb SurrealDB before 2.1.4 silently fails to overwrite table definitions when the DEFINE TABLE ... OVERWRITE clause is used on tables defined with TYPE RELATION. Because table definitions include the PERMISSIONS clause, an attempt to tighten a table's permissions via OVERWRITE does not take effect, and the administrator may incorrectly believe the change was applied. As a result, a client authorized to run queries may continue to access data in that table that the updated (but unapplied) permissions were intended to restrict. Tue 27 Oct
