| CVE-2021-22555KEVexploit ×15 | 7.8 high | 79.0% | netapp, linux, c400_firmware, c250_firmware, h410c_firmware | A heap out-of-bounds write affecting Linux since v2.6.19-rc1 was discovered in net/netfilter/x_tables.c. This allows an attacker to gain privileges or cause a DoS (via heap memory corruption) through user name space | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2023-32233exploit ×8 | 7.8 high | 13.0% | linux, redhat, linux_kernel, enterprise_linux, hci_baseboard_management_controller | In the Linux kernel through 6.3.1, a use-after-free in Netfilter nf_tables when processing batch requests can be abused to perform arbitrary read and write operations on kernel memory. Unprivileged local users can obtain root privileges. This occurs because anonymous sets are mishandled. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-34918exploit ×6 | 7.8 high | 5.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, ubuntu_linux | An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.18.9. A type confusion bug in nft_set_elem_init (leading to a buffer overflow) could be used by a local attacker to escalate privileges, a different vulnerability than CVE-2022-32250. (The attacker can obtain root access, but must start with an unprivileged user namespace to obtain CAP_NET_ADMIN access.) This can be fixed in nft_setelem_parse_data in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2022-32250exploit ×8 | 7.8 high | 3.0% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c in the Linux kernel through 5.18.1 allows a local user (able to create user/net namespaces) to escalate privileges to root because an incorrect NFT_STATEFUL_EXPR check leads to a use-after-free. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61876exploit | 9.4 critical | 2.0% | no CPE yet | LuCI versions fail to properly encode DHCPv6 lease hostnames before rendering in status tables, allowing adjacent network attackers to inject HTML markup. Attackers can send a DHCPv6 Client FQDN containing script tags that execute in the administrator's browser when viewing DHCP lease pages. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-74727exploit | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: skip rehash for peers already removed from by_id ovpn_nl_peer_set_doit() resolves the target peer via ovpn_peer_get_by_id() before taking ovpn->lock. In the window between the lookup (which only takes a refcount) and the subsequent spin_lock_bh(&ovpn->lock), a concurrent OVPN_CMD_PEER_DEL, keepalive expiry, or socket teardown can take ovpn->lock first, run ovpn_peer_remove() to unhash the peer from all four tables (by_id, by_vpn_addr4/6, by_transp_addr) and release the lock. set_doit then acquires ovpn->lock and calls ovpn_peer_hash_vpn_ip(), which re-inserts the now-removed peer back into the rehashing tables. The same race affects the float path: ovpn_peer_endpoints_update() holds only a refcount and acquires ovpn->lock very late (after async AEAD decrypt and a netlink notification), then rehashes the peer in the by_transp_addr table. The resurrected peer becomes reachable again from the RX lookup (ovpn_peer_get_by_transp_addr) and the TX VPN-IP lookup, even though userspace believes it is gone. Once the data-path refcount drops the peer is freed via call_rcu while the hash entries embedded in it remain linked, opening a UAF window. Bail out of the rehash when hash_entry_id is unhashed, mirroring the sentinel already used by ovpn_peer_remove() to detect the already-removed state. The check is safe under ovpn->lock, which serializes every mutation of hash_entry_id, and is a no-op for the add path because ovpn_peer_add_mp() inserts hash_entry_id before calling ovpn_peer_hash_vpn_ip(). | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-57845exploit | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Hugging Face Datasets through 5.1.0 contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary Python code by crafting a malicious pickle file loaded through the deprecated pandas packaged builder. Attackers can supply a pickle-backed dataset that is processed by Pandas._generate_tables via pandas.read_pickle() without validation, so when a victim calls datasets.load_dataset("pandas", data_files=...), the embedded __reduce__ payload executes code with the victim process's privileges. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-23231exploit | 7.8 high | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix use-after-free in nf_tables_addchain() nf_tables_addchain() publishes the chain to table->chains via list_add_tail_rcu() (in nft_chain_add()) before registering hooks. If nf_tables_register_hook() then fails, the error path calls nft_chain_del() (list_del_rcu()) followed by nf_tables_chain_destroy() with no RCU grace period in between. This creates two use-after-free conditions: 1) Control-plane: nf_tables_dump_chains() traverses table->chains under rcu_read_lock(). A concurrent dump can still be walking the chain when the error path frees it. 2) Packet path: for NFPROTO_INET, nf_register_net_hook() briefly installs the IPv4 hook before IPv6 registration fails. Packets entering nft_do_chain() via the transient IPv4 hook can still be dereferencing chain->blob_gen_X when the error path frees the chain. Add synchronize_rcu() between nft_chain_del() and the chain destroy so that all RCU readers -- both dump threads and in-flight packet evaluation -- have finished before the chain is freed. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-23111exploit ×11 | 7.8 high | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix inverted genmask check in nft_map_catchall_activate() nft_map_catchall_activate() has an inverted element activity check compared to its non-catchall counterpart nft_mapelem_activate() and compared to what is logically required. nft_map_catchall_activate() is called from the abort path to re-activate catchall map elements that were deactivated during a failed transaction. It should skip elements that are already active (they don't need re-activation) and process elements that are inactive (they need to be restored). Instead, the current code does the opposite: it skips inactive elements and processes active ones. Compare the non-catchall activate callback, which is correct: nft_mapelem_activate(): if (nft_set_elem_active(ext, iter->genmask)) return 0; /* skip active, process inactive */ With the buggy catchall version: nft_map_catchall_activate(): if (!nft_set_elem_active(ext, genmask)) continue; /* skip inactive, process active */ The consequence is that when a DELSET operation is aborted, nft_setelem_data_activate() is never called for the catchall element. For NFT_GOTO verdict elements, this means nft_data_hold() is never called to restore the chain->use reference count. Each abort cycle permanently decrements chain->use. Once chain->use reaches zero, DELCHAIN succeeds and frees the chain while catchall verdict elements still reference it, resulting in a use-after-free. This is exploitable for local privilege escalation from an unprivileged user via user namespaces + nftables on distributions that enable CONFIG_USER_NS and CONFIG_NF_TABLES. Fix by removing the negation so the check matches nft_mapelem_activate(): skip active elements, process inactive ones. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2022-1015exploit ×9 | 6.6 medium | 1.0% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora | A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in linux/net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c of the netfilter subsystem. This flaw allows a local user to cause an out-of-bounds write issue. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2025-38678exploit | 5.5 medium | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: reject duplicate device on updates A chain/flowtable update with duplicated devices in the same batch is possible. Unfortunately, netdev event path only removes the first device that is found, leaving unregistered the hook of the duplicated device. Check if a duplicated device exists in the transaction batch, bail out with EEXIST in such case. WARNING is hit when unregistering the hook: [49042.221275] WARNING: CPU: 4 PID: 8425 at net/netfilter/core.c:340 nf_hook_entry_head+0xaa/0x150 [49042.221375] CPU: 4 UID: 0 PID: 8425 Comm: nft Tainted: G S 6.16.0+ #170 PREEMPT(full) [...] [49042.221382] RIP: 0010:nf_hook_entry_head+0xaa/0x150 | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2019-8457 | 9.8 critical | 45.0% | sqlite, canonical, ubuntu_linux, fedora | SQLite3 from 3.6.0 to and including 3.27.2 is vulnerable to heap out-of-bound read in the rtreenode() function when handling invalid rtree tables. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72421 | 10.0 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: fib: Don't ignore error route in local/main tables. When CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES is enabled but no rule is added, fib_lookup() performs route lookup directly on two tables. Since the first lookup does not properly bail out, the result of an error route in the merged local/main table could be overwritten by another route in the default table: # unshare -n # ip link set lo up # ip route add 192.168.0.0/24 dev lo table 253 # ip route add unreachable 192.168.0.0/24 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.1 dev lo table default uid 0 cache <local> Once a random rule is added, the error route is respected: # ip rule add table 0 # ip rule del table 0 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 RTNETLINK answers: No route to host Let's fix the inconsistent behaviour. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15043 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | DBI::SQL::Nano versions from 1.42 before 1.651 for Perl have inverted <= and >= SQL operators on text. DBI::SQL::Nano, DBI's built-in mini-SQL engine, evaluated WHERE predicates incorrectly in some cases. In the non-numeric string branch of the is_matched method, <= was evaluated using Perl's ge operator, and >= was evaluated using Perl's le operator. SQL::Nano is the fallback query engine for DBI's file-backed drivers (DBD::File, DBD::DBM, CSV-style drivers) whenever SQL::Statement is not installed, and is forced whenever DBI_SQL_NANO=1. Queries over such tables use these predicates directly. The impact depends on the context. Where an application relies on a WHERE clause to filter file-backed data for policy or authorization, an inverted <=/>= comparison silently returns the wrong rows. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72565 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | A SQL injection vulnerability in Tencent APIJSON through 8.1.8 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass per-table access control and read arbitrary database tables via the Map-form @having operator. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-73211 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | PeerTube is an ActivityPub-federated video streaming platform. Prior to 8.1.6, ActorFollowModel.updateScore() interpolates the attacker-controlled ActivityPub actor inboxUrl into an SQL query, allowing an unauthenticated remote server to read and write PeerTube database tables, including oAuthToken.accessToken, and take over administrator accounts. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.6. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55683 | 9.8 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the unauthenticated web/html/socio/sistema/cadastro_cobranca.php endpoint accepts POST input through extract($_REQUEST) and directly incorporates valor, valor_pago, id_pessoa, id_socio, and id_sociotipo into UPDATE, INSERT, and SELECT statements without prepared statements. A remote attacker can use the affected parameters to execute arbitrary SQL that reads or modifies WeGIA database content, including billing records and credential data. The same SQL access can delete or truncate tables, causing loss of application data. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2024-47685 | 9.1 critical | 1.0% | debian, linux, debian_linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_reject_ipv6: fix nf_reject_ip6_tcphdr_put() syzbot reported that nf_reject_ip6_tcphdr_put() was possibly sending garbage on the four reserved tcp bits (th->res1) Use skb_put_zero() to clear the whole TCP header, as done in nf_reject_ip_tcphdr_put() BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in nf_reject_ip6_tcphdr_put+0x688/0x6c0 net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_reject_ipv6.c:255 nf_reject_ip6_tcphdr_put+0x688/0x6c0 net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_reject_ipv6.c:255 nf_send_reset6+0xd84/0x15b0 net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_reject_ipv6.c:344 nft_reject_inet_eval+0x3c1/0x880 net/netfilter/nft_reject_inet.c:48 expr_call_ops_eval net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:240 [inline] nft_do_chain+0x438/0x22a0 net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:288 nft_do_chain_inet+0x41a/0x4f0 net/netfilter/nft_chain_filter.c:161 nf_hook_entry_hookfn include/linux/netfilter.h:154 [inline] nf_hook_slow+0xf4/0x400 net/netfilter/core.c:626 nf_hook include/linux/netfilter.h:269 [inline] NF_HOOK include/linux/netfilter.h:312 [inline] ipv6_rcv+0x29b/0x390 net/ipv6/ip6_input.c:310 __netif_receive_skb_one_core net/core/dev.c:5661 [inline] __netif_receive_skb+0x1da/0xa00 net/core/dev.c:5775 process_backlog+0x4ad/0xa50 net/core/dev.c:6108 __napi_poll+0xe7/0x980 net/core/dev.c:6772 napi_poll net/core/dev.c:6841 [inline] net_rx_action+0xa5a/0x19b0 net/core/dev.c:6963 handle_softirqs+0x1ce/0x800 kernel/softirq.c:554 __do_softirq+0x14/0x1a kernel/softirq.c:588 do_softirq+0x9a/0x100 kernel/softirq.c:455 __local_bh_enable_ip+0x9f/0xb0 kernel/softirq.c:382 local_bh_enable include/linux/bottom_half.h:33 [inline] rcu_read_unlock_bh include/linux/rcupdate.h:908 [inline] __dev_queue_xmit+0x2692/0x5610 net/core/dev.c:4450 dev_queue_xmit include/linux/netdevice.h:3105 [inline] neigh_resolve_output+0x9ca/0xae0 net/core/neighbour.c:1565 neigh_output include/net/neighbour.h:542 [inline] ip6_finish_output2+0x2347/0x2ba0 net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:141 __ip6_finish_output net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:215 [inline] ip6_finish_output+0xbb8/0x14b0 net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:226 NF_HOOK_COND include/linux/netfilter.h:303 [inline] ip6_output+0x356/0x620 net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:247 dst_output include/net/dst.h:450 [inline] NF_HOOK include/linux/netfilter.h:314 [inline] ip6_xmit+0x1ba6/0x25d0 net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:366 inet6_csk_xmit+0x442/0x530 net/ipv6/inet6_connection_sock.c:135 __tcp_transmit_skb+0x3b07/0x4880 net/ipv4/tcp_output.c:1466 tcp_transmit_skb net/ipv4/tcp_output.c:1484 [inline] tcp_connect+0x35b6/0x7130 net/ipv4/tcp_output.c:4143 tcp_v6_connect+0x1bcc/0x1e40 net/ipv6/tcp_ipv6.c:333 __inet_stream_connect+0x2ef/0x1730 net/ipv4/af_inet.c:679 inet_stream_connect+0x6a/0xd0 net/ipv4/af_inet.c:750 __sys_connect_file net/socket.c:2061 [inline] __sys_connect+0x606/0x690 net/socket.c:2078 __do_sys_connect net/socket.c:2088 [inline] __se_sys_connect net/socket.c:2085 [inline] __x64_sys_connect+0x91/0xe0 net/socket.c:2085 x64_sys_call+0x27a5/0x3ba0 arch/x86/include/generated/asm/syscalls_64.h:43 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/common.c:52 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xcd/0x1e0 arch/x86/entry/common.c:83 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f Uninit was stored to memory at: nf_reject_ip6_tcphdr_put+0x60c/0x6c0 net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_reject_ipv6.c:249 nf_send_reset6+0xd84/0x15b0 net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_reject_ipv6.c:344 nft_reject_inet_eval+0x3c1/0x880 net/netfilter/nft_reject_inet.c:48 expr_call_ops_eval net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:240 [inline] nft_do_chain+0x438/0x22a0 net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:288 nft_do_chain_inet+0x41a/0x4f0 net/netfilter/nft_chain_filter.c:161 nf_hook_entry_hookfn include/linux/netfilter.h:154 [inline] nf_hook_slow+0xf4/0x400 net/netfilter/core.c:626 nf_hook include/linux/netfilter.h:269 [inline] NF_HOOK include/linux/netfilter.h:312 [inline] ipv6_rcv+0x29b/0x390 net/ipv6/ip6_input.c:310 __netif_receive_skb_one_core ---truncated--- | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72107 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm era: fix out-of-bounds memory access for non-zero start sector dm-era tracks writes in target-relative blocks, but era_map() calculates the writeset block before applying the target offset. Tables with a non-zero start sector can therefore pass an absolute mapped-device block to metadata_current_marked(). If the absolute block is beyond the current writeset size, writeset_marked() tests past the end of the in-core bitset. KASAN reports this as a vmalloc-out-of-bounds access. Apply the target offset before calculating the era block so writeset lookups use the target-relative block number. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-55681 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, an authenticated user with access to the Material & Patrimônio module can submit id_produto to web/html/matPat/restaurar_produto_desocultar.php, where a second extract($_REQUEST) overwrites the value previously sanitized by intval(). The raw value is interpolated into UPDATE statements for the produto, isaida, and ientrada tables. An attacker can execute arbitrary SQL to extract sensitive database records or modify institutional and inventory data. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-12044 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | pgadmin, pgadmin_4 | SQL injection in pgAdmin 4 across every dialog template that renders ``COMMENT ON ... IS '<description>'`` for a user-supplied description field. The Jinja templates for Domains (and their constraints), Foreign Tables, Languages, and Event Triggers, plus the Views OID-lookup query, interpolated the description directly inside a single-quoted SQL literal -- ``'{{ data.description }}'`` -- instead of passing it through the ``qtLiteral`` escape filter. An authenticated pgAdmin user with permission to create or alter the affected object types could submit a description containing an apostrophe, break out of the literal and chain arbitrary SQL. The injected SQL runs under the PostgreSQL role the user is already authenticated as; for a connected role with ``COPY ... TO/FROM PROGRAM`` (typically PostgreSQL superuser), this chains to OS command execution on the PostgreSQL host. The defect does not cross a privilege boundary -- the user already has direct SQL access to that role through pgAdmin's Query Tool -- so the attacker gains no capability beyond what their database role already grants. The marginal impact captures bypass of any application-layer Query Tool gating an operator may have configured. The defect was originally reported against the Domain Dialog ``description`` field; a code-wide audit identified sixteen sites of the same pattern across the templates listed above. The same review also surfaced ten related sinks in the pgstattuple/pgstatindex stats templates -- ``pgstattuple('{{schema}}.{{table}}')`` and the matching pgstatindex shape -- where ``qtIdent`` escapes embedded double quotes inside the identifier but not apostrophes, so a user with CREATE privilege on a schema could plant a table or index named ``foo'bar`` and a later stats viewer would render an unbalanced literal. Fix is layered: 1. Sites: replace every ``'{{ x.description }}'`` with ``{{ x.description|qtLiteral(conn) }}`` (no surrounding quotes -- the filter wraps the value in escaped quotes itself). Plumb ``conn=self.conn`` through every ``render_template`` call that loads one of these templates. Also corrects a ``{ % elif`` Jinja typo in the foreign-table schema diff (dead branch). Rewrite the ten pgstattuple/pgstatindex stats sites to address the relation via OID + ``::oid::regclass`` cast (e.g. ``pgstattuple({{ tid }}::oid::regclass)``), eliminating the embedded literal-call form entirely so that bug-class can no longer recur there. 2. Driver hardening: ``qtLiteral`` (in ``utils/driver/psycopg3/__init__.py``) used to silently return the raw unescaped value when its ``conn`` argument was falsy. It now raises ``ValueError`` -- surfacing the entire bug class going forward. The change immediately uncovered eight latent plumbing bugs (in ``schemas/__init__.py``, ``schemas/functions/__init__.py``, ``schemas/tables/utils.py``, ``foreign_servers/__init__.py``, and seven sites in ``roles/__init__.py``) -- all fixed as part of this patch. The inner ``except`` block that swallowed adapter-level failures and returned the raw value is also removed, so unadaptable inputs raise instead of leaking unescaped values. 3. Regression tests: a per-template behavioural test renders each previously-vulnerable template with an apostrophe-injection payload and asserts the escaped fragment is present and the vulnerable fragment absent; a lint test walks every ``*.sql`` template flagging any ``'{{ ... }}'`` single-quote-wrapped interpolation against an explicit allowlist; unit tests cover the new qtLiteral fail-fast and inner-except raise paths. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from 1.0 before 9.16. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56773 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Teable's v2 REST API controller lacks @Permissions metadata on ORPC endpoints, allowing any authenticated user to bypass authorization checks. Attackers can read table schemas, create tables, and modify or delete records across bases and tables via endpoints like GET /api/v2/tables/get and POST /api/v2/tables/updateRecords. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47659 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Pathling is a set of tools that make it easier to use FHIR and clinical terminology within health data analytics. Prior to version 2.0.0 of Pathling Server, Pathling's `/$result` endpoint allows a caller who can obtain any valid async export job ID to supply `file` parameter values containing path traversal sequences. The handler verifies only the supplied `job` and never normalises or confines the requested `file` path to that job's `jobs/<jobId>` directory before opening it as a filesystem resource. Because async export scratch space lives under the same warehouse database root as persisted resource tables, an attacker can use their own export job to read other files from the warehouse. This is fixed in Pathling Server 2.0.0. The `$result` handler now resolves and canonicalizes the requested file path and rejects any request that escapes the job's `jobs/<jobId>` directory. As an interim mitigation, disable the async export operations (`pathling.operations.exportEnabled`, `patientExportEnabled`, `groupExportEnabled`, `bulkSubmitEnabled`) or enable authentication and restrict export capability to trusted callers. | Fri 23 Oct |

| CVE-2026-73670 | 8.6 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | A CMS contains a SQL injection vulnerability in admin/db_data.php at line 509 that allows authenticated administrators to inject arbitrary SQL into a SHOW COLUMNS FROM statement by supplying unsanitized input through the table_name GET or POST parameter. Attackers can perform table traversal, time-based blind, boolean-based blind, and error-based injection techniques to enumerate full database schema, access system tables such as information_schema, and chain the disclosure with secondary injection points to extract credential data. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43452 | 8.2 high | 1.0% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: x_tables: guard option walkers against 1-byte tail reads When the last byte of options is a non-single-byte option kind, walkers that advance with i += op[i + 1] ? : 1 can read op[i + 1] past the end of the option area. | CVE-2025-58051 | 6.5 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Nextcloud Tables allows you to create your own tables with individual columns. Prior 0.7.6, 0.8.8, and 0.9.5, when importing a table, a user was able to specify files on the server and when their format is supported by the used PhpSpreadsheet library they would be included and their content leaked to the user. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Tables app is upgraded to 0.7.6, 0.8.8 or 0.9.5. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-17084 | 6.0 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | The "stringprep" module didn't process characters from RFC 3454 tables B.2 or B.3 correctly: the latest Unicode codepoint attributes were used instead of the specified Unicode 3.2.0. This behavior would cause mismatches when processing domain names using IDNA 2003 (the "idna" codec) and the in_table_b2() function of the "stringprep" module. | CVE-2024-53095 | 9.8 critical | — | linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: Fix use-after-free of network namespace. Recently, we got a customer report that CIFS triggers oops while reconnecting to a server. [0] The workload runs on Kubernetes, and some pods mount CIFS servers in non-root network namespaces. The problem rarely happened, but it was always while the pod was dying. The root cause is wrong reference counting for network namespace. CIFS uses kernel sockets, which do not hold refcnt of the netns that the socket belongs to. That means CIFS must ensure the socket is always freed before its netns; otherwise, use-after-free happens. The repro steps are roughly: 1. mount CIFS in a non-root netns 2. drop packets from the netns 3. destroy the netns 4. unmount CIFS We can reproduce the issue quickly with the script [1] below and see the splat [2] if CONFIG_NET_NS_REFCNT_TRACKER is enabled. When the socket is TCP, it is hard to guarantee the netns lifetime without holding refcnt due to async timers. Let's hold netns refcnt for each socket as done for SMC in commit 9744d2bf1976 ("smc: Fix use-after-free in tcp_write_timer_handler()."). Note that we need to move put_net() from cifs_put_tcp_session() to clean_demultiplex_info(); otherwise, __sock_create() still could touch a freed netns while cifsd tries to reconnect from cifs_demultiplex_thread(). Also, maybe_get_net() cannot be put just before __sock_create() because the code is not under RCU and there is a small chance that the same address happened to be reallocated to another netns. | CVE-2026-55684 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the unauthenticated web/html/socio/sistema/cadastro_cobrancas_geracao.php endpoint accepts form-encoded POST data through extract($_REQUEST) and interpolates codigo, descricao, data_emissao, data_vencimento, data_pagamento, valor, valor_pago, status, link_cobranca, link_boleto, linha_digitavel, and id_socio into a raw INSERT statement. Numeric parameters are unquoted and unvalidated, while string parameters can break out of their single-quoted SQL context. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary SQL to read or modify billing, member, employee, permission, and credential data or to delete database tables. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2025-71392 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | surrealdb | SurrealDB before 2.0.5, 2.1.x before 2.1.5, and 2.2.x before 2.2.2 fails to properly escape table and field names in the command-line export command. An authenticated System User with OWNER or EDITOR roles can create tables or fields with malicious names containing SurrealQL. When a higher-privileged user subsequently imports the exported backup, the injected SurrealQL executes, enabling privilege escalation and root-level takeover of the SurrealDB instance. Applications that let users define custom tables or fields are also exposed to a universal second-order SurrealQL injection even when query parameters are sanitized. | 20 h ago |
| CVE-2026-42810 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | apache, polaris | Apache Polaris accepts literal `*` characters in namespace and table names. When it later builds temporary S3 access policies for delegated table access, those same characters appear to be reused unescaped in S3 IAM resource patterns and `s3:prefix` conditions. In S3 IAM policy matching, `*` is treated as a wildcard rather than as ordinary text. That means temporary credentials issued for one crafted table can match the storage path of a different table. In private testing against Polaris 1.4.0 using Polaris' AWS S3 temporary- credential path on both MinIO and real AWS S3, credentials returned for crafted tables such as `f*.t1`, `f*.*`, `*.*`, and `foo.*` could reach other tables' S3 locations. The confirmed behavior includes: - reading another table's metadata control file ([Iceberg metadata JSON]); - listing another table's exact S3 table prefix ([table prefix]); - and, when write delegation was returned for the crafted table, creating and deleting an object under another table's exact S3 table prefix. A control case using ordinary different names did not allow the same cross-table access. A least-privilege AWS S3 variant was also confirmed in which the attacker principal had no Polaris permissions on the victim table and only the minimal permissions required to create and use a crafted wildcard table (namespace-scoped `TABLE_CREATE` and `TABLE_WRITE_DATA` on `*`). In that setup, direct Polaris access to `foo.t1` remained forbidden, but the attacker could still create and load `*.*`, receive delegated S3 credentials, and use those credentials to list, read, create, and delete objects under `foo.t1`. In Iceberg, the metadata JSON file is a control file: it tells readers which data files belong to the table, which snapshots exist, and which table version to read. So unauthorized access to it is already a meaningful confidentiality problem. The confirmed write-capable variant means the issue is not limited to disclosure. | Mon 26 Oct |

Unauthenticated attackers can send a Unicode right single quotation mark in the search parameter of api/autocomplete, which is normalized to an ASCII quote, to read credentials and configuration secrets, modify records, or drop tables. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40572 | 9.0 critical | 0.00% | minecanton209, novumos | NovumOS is a custom 32-bit operating system written in Zig and x86 Assembly. In versions prior to 0.24, Syscall 15 (MemoryMapRange) allows Ring 3 user-mode processes to map arbitrary virtual address ranges into their address space without validating against forbidden regions, including critical kernel structures such as the IDT, GDT, TSS, and page tables. A local attacker can exploit this to modify kernel interrupt handlers, resulting in privilege escalation from user mode to kernel context. This issue has been fixed in version 0.24. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-100683 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Budibase (@budibase/server) before 3.45.0 builds MySQL and MSSQL column-rename DDL in packages/backend-core/src/sql/sqlTable.ts by interpolating identifiers directly into a raw query string (backtick-quoted for MySQL, a single-quoted sp_rename literal for MSSQL) without applying the project's quoteMySqlIdentifier / quoteSqlServerIdentifier helpers. An attacker with DDL rights on a connected MySQL/MSSQL datasource can create a column whose name contains a backtick (MySQL) or single quote (MSSQL) plus additional SQL; Budibase's schema introspection stores the name verbatim, and when a Budibase builder later renames that column through the UI (POST /api/tables with _rename.old), the embedded quote character terminates the identifier and the injected SQL is executed. Because the MySQL connection is opened with multipleStatements: true, stacked statements run as Budibase's datasource user, allowing arbitrary reads, writes, or destructive operations on the connected database outside Budibase's row/table permission model. Fixed in 3.45.0. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-39318 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | churchcrm | ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Versions prior to 7.1.0 have an SQL injection vulnerability in the endpoints `/GroupPropsFormRowOps.php`, `/PersonCustomFieldsRowOps.php`, and `/FamilyCustomFieldsRowOps.php`. A user has to be authenticated. For `ManageGroups` privileges have to be enabled and for the other two endpoints the attack has to be executed by an administrative user. These users can inject arbitrary SQL statements through the `Field` parameter and thus modify tables from the database. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9771 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The flash_copy() system call is verified by z_vrfy_flash_copy() in drivers/flash/flash_util.c. On builds with CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled, this handler is the kernel-side trust boundary for a user-mode caller. Prior to the fix it validated only the output buffer (K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE) and passed the two struct device * arguments, src_dev and dst_dev, directly into the implementation without any object validation — unlike every sibling flash syscall, which guards its device pointer with K_SYSCALL_DRIVER_FLASH. A user-mode thread fully controls the values of src_dev/dst_dev and the contents of its own address space. The implementation z_impl_flash_copy() dereferences these pointers and calls through their driver-API function tables (e.g. api->get_parameters(dst_dev), flash_read(src_dev, ...), flash_write(dst_dev, ...)). By supplying a pointer to a forged struct device whose api table contains attacker-chosen function pointers, an unprivileged thread can cause the kernel to call arbitrary code in supervisor mode; passing any arbitrary or invalid address otherwise yields a kernel crash or out-of-bounds read. The result is a local privilege escalation out of the userspace sandbox (with kernel denial-of-service and information disclosure as lesser outcomes). The fix adds K_SYSCALL_DRIVER_FLASH(src_dev, read) and K_SYSCALL_DRIVER_FLASH(dst_dev, write) to z_vrfy_flash_copy(), which verify each device is a registered flash-driver kernel object the calling thread is permitted to use before any dereference, closing the path completely. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-89913 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: vgic-v3: take an LPI reference in vgic_v3_save_pending_tables vgic_v3_save_pending_tables() iterates dist->lpi_xa using xa_for_each() and dereferences the returned struct vgic_irq in the loop body without holding a reference on the LPI. The xarray iterator only provides temporary RCU coverage while looking up the current entry. That is not sufficient for this loop body, which reads fields from struct vgic_irq and performs guest memory accesses before the iteration completes. A concurrent path can trigger this race: the irqfd cached injection path (vgic_its_inject_cached_translation) obtains a transient LPI reference via vgic_its_check_cache() without holding kvm->lock, vcpu->mutex, config_lock, or its_lock. If guest ITS DISCARD then drops the cache and ITE references under its_lock, the transient inject reference may become the final one. When vgic_put_irq() drops it, the LPI is erased from lpi_xa and freed via kfree_rcu(). Meanwhile, vgic_v3_save_pending_tables() may still hold a stale pointer obtained from the xarray iterator and dereference it after the RCU grace period completes. Fix this by re-fetching each iterated LPI via vgic_get_irq(), which takes a stable reference, and dropping it with vgic_put_irq() on all paths. This matches the pattern already used by other lpi_xa iterators in the vgic ITS code. | 21 Oct |
| CVE-2026-79609 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | XPTI (Xen Page Table Isolation) was introduced to mitigate Meltdown (CVE-2017-5754, one aspect of XSA-254). This involves copying 64-bit PV guest page table entries from guest-chosen root page tables to the Xen- chosen one which is in actual use by hardware. To read the guest root page table, the directmap is used. PV guests, however, have a directmap which may not cover all memory; in particular this is the case if any memory extends beyond the 5 TiB (CONFIG_BIGMEM=y: 3.5 TiB) address boundary. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72029 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wwan: iosm: bound device offsets in the MUX downlink decoder mux_dl_adb_decode() walks a chain of aggregated datagram tables using offsets and lengths taken from the modem. first_table_index, next_table_index, table_length, datagram_index and datagram_length are all device supplied le values. Only first_table_index was checked, and only for being non zero. The decoder then formed adth = block + adth_index and read the table header and the datagram entries with no bound against the received skb. A modem that reports an index or a length past the downlink buffer makes the decoder read out of bounds. The buffer is IPC_MEM_MAX_DL_MUX_LITE_BUF_SIZE and skb->len is at most that, so skb->len is the real limit, but none of these in band offsets were checked against it. The table chain is also followed with no forward progress check. The loop takes the next table from adth->next_table_index and stops only when that reaches zero. A modem can stage two tables that point at each other, so the loop never ends. It runs in softirq and clones the skb on every pass. Validate every device offset and length against skb->len before use. The block header must fit. Each table header, on entry and after every next_table_index, must lie inside the skb. The datagram table must fit. Each datagram index and length must stay inside the skb. The header padding must not exceed the datagram length so the receive length does not wrap. Require each next_table_index to move forward so the chain cannot cycle. This was reproduced under KASAN as a slab out of bounds read on a normal downlink receive once the iosm net device is up. | 19 Oct |

This assumption breaks for shadow paging if the guest page tables are modified between VM entries (similar to commit aad885e77496, "KVM: x86/mmu: Drop/zap existing present SPTE even when creating an MMIO SPTE", 2026-03-27). The flow is as follows: - a PDE is installed for a 2MB mapping, and a page in that area is accessed. KVM creates a kvm_mmu_page consisting of 512 4KB pages; the kvm_mmu_page is marked by FNAME(fetch) as direct-mapped because the guest's mapping is a huge page (and thus contiguous). - the PDE mapping is changed from outside the guest. - the guest accesses another page in the same 2MB area. KVM installs a new leaf SPTE and rmap entry; the SPTE uses the "correct" GFN (i.e. based on the new mapping, as changed in the previous step) but that GFN is outside of the [sp->gfn, sp->gfn + 511] range; therefore the rmap entry cannot be found and removed when the kvm_mmu_page is zapped. - the memslot that covers the first 2MB mapping is deleted, and the kvm_mmu_page for the now-invalid GPA is zapped. However, rmap_remove() only looks at the [sp->gfn, sp->gfn + 511] range established in step 1, and fails to find the rmap entry that was recorded by step 3. - any operation that causes an rmap walk for the same page accessed by step 3 then walks a stale rmap and dereferences a freed kvm_mmu_page. This includes dirty logging or MMU notifier invalidations (e.g., from MADV_DONTNEED). The underlying issue is that KVM's walking of shadow PTEs assumes that if a SPTE is present when KVM wants to install a non-leaf SPTE, then the existing kvm_mmu_page must be for the correct gfn. Because the only way for the gfn to be wrong is if KVM messed up and failed to zap a SPTE... which shouldn't happen, but *actually* only happens in response to a guest write. That bug dates back literally forever, as even the first version of KVM assumes that the GFN matches and walks into the "wrong" shadow page. However, that was only an imprecision until 2032a93d66fa ("KVM: MMU: Don't allocate gfns page for direct mmu pages") came along. Fix it by checking for a target gfn mismatch and zapping the existing SPTE. That way the old SP and rmap entries are gone, KVM installs the rmap in the right location, and everyone is happy. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-107375 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. From 7.0.0 until 9.4.0, reactive applications generated with Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, and a SQL database pass the attacker-controlled sort request parameter from paginated entity-list endpoints into createOrderByFields in generators/spring-boot/generators/data-relational/templates/src/main/java/package/repository/EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs. The generated code renders these properties into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting, and the R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can consequently read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables, while non-reactive JPA applications and NoSQL backends are outside this root cause. This issue is fixed in 9.4.0. | 9 Oct |
