CVE-2026-35045exploit 8.1 high 0.00% tandoor, recipes Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.4, the PUT /api/recipe/batch_update/ endpoint in Tandoor Recipes allows any authenticated user within a Space to modify any recipe in that Space, including recipes marked as private by other users. This bypasses all object-level authorization checks enforced on standard single-recipe endpoints (PUT /api/recipe/{id}/), enabling forced exposure of private recipes, unauthorized self-grant of access via the shared list, and metadata tampering. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.4. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-59970exploit 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, passes an administrator-controlled AI provider URL directly to LiteLLM without applying the server's outbound-request SSRF checks when an authenticated user creates a Space, configures an AI provider with a URL targeting an internal address, and invokes an AI action. In cookbook/views/api.py, the affected AI actions call completion through TARGET/api/ai-import/ and api/ai-step-sort/ while bypassing safe_request. The attack works because the server connects to the supplied provider URL from each AI action and exposes connection success, refusal, or timeout as a blind network-reachability oracle. This can reach internal services, other hosts on the server network, and cloud metadata endpoints and map reachable internal hosts and ports. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-61726 8.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.12, StepViewSet and IngredientViewSet filter only by active Space and use role-level CustomIsUser checks instead of the private-recipe owner or sharing predicate when an authenticated user with read and write API scope in the victim's Space supplies a private recipe or step identifier to the Step API. Request processing uses StepViewSet, IngredientViewSet, api/step/, api/step/{step_id}/, CustomIsUser, CustomRecipePermission. The attack works because the sub-resource querysets return and update private-recipe steps for non-owners because Space membership is accepted without recipe-level authorization. This can read and silently modify another same-Space member's private recipe instructions, while cross-Space access remains out of scope. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.12. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-35488 8.1 high 0.00% tandoor, recipes Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.4, RecipeBookViewSet and RecipeBookEntryViewSet use CustomIsShared as an alternative permission class, but CustomIsShared.has_object_permission() returns True for all HTTP methods — including DELETE, PUT, and PATCH — without checking request.method in SAFE_METHODS. Any user who is in the shared list of a RecipeBook can delete or overwrite it, even though shared access is semantically read-only. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-35489 7.3 high 0.00% tandoor, recipes Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.4, the POST /api/food/{id}/shopping/ endpoint reads amount and unit directly from request.data and passes them without validation to ShoppingListEntry.objects.create(). Invalid amount values (non-numeric strings) cause an unhandled exception and HTTP 500. A unit ID from a different Space can be associated cross-space, leaking foreign-key references across tenant boundaries. All other endpoints creating ShoppingListEntry use ShoppingListEntrySerializer, which validates and sanitizes these fields. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.4. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-112342 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes before 2.7.0 contains an improper cache-key design in cookbook/helper/permission_helper.py that allows authenticated users to retain stale group-based permissions across different spaces by exploiting a cache key keyed only on user id while omitting the active space, with the cached entry's TTL refreshed on every request. Attackers can create their own space to obtain an admin group designation, then switch their active space to a victim space where they hold lesser privileges, causing the stale cached admin decision to authorize elevated access and bypass group revocations or demotions across multiple permission classes and views. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-59963 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, recipe utility endpoints retrieve same-Space Recipe objects without invoking the private-recipe owner or sharing permission when an authenticated member of a shared Space supplies another member's private recipe identifier to AI import, file, external-link, or share-link endpoints. Request processing uses api/ai-import/, api/get_recipe_file/, api/get_external_file_link/, api/share-link/, CustomRecipePermission. The attack works because the endpoints read private recipe files, send file bytes to the configured AI provider, or create and disclose external links without object-level authorization, and api/share-link/ can create a public link when Space sharing is enabled. This can expose private recipe files and sensitive uploaded content to another same-Space user and to configured external services. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-59962 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, passes unvalidated sort_order and order_field strings into Django ORM order_by() calls when an authenticated user supplies foreign-key traversal paths in recipe search, RecipeBook, or stored CustomFilter ordering values. Request processing uses _finalize_ordering and order_by through 8080/api/recipe/ and 8080/api/recipe-book/. The attack works because Django interprets double-underscore ordering fields as related-table traversal, and observable result ordering leaks values from related User fields. This can infer password hashes, email addresses, administrator status, and other related database values. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-27460 6.5 medium 0.00% tandoor, recipes Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.5, a critical Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability was in the recipe import functionality. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to crash the server or make a significantly degrade its performance by uploading a large size ZIP file (ZIP Bomb). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115810 6.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes before 2.7.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Pestle importer that allows authenticated low-privileged users to force the server to issue GET requests to arbitrary internal or external hosts by crafting a malicious image URL in a Pestle JSON import file. Attackers can exploit the raw requests.get call in cookbook/integration/pestle.py, which bypasses the application's centralized requests-hardened SSRF filter, to reach internal-only endpoints, perform port/service discovery, and exfiltrate internal responses via the stored recipe image. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-59966 5.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, executes user-controlled Automation regular-expression patterns with Python re.sub() without complexity validation or an execution timeout when an authenticated user stores a catastrophic-backtracking regex and any user in the same Space imports a matching recipe. Request processing uses Automation.param_2, apply_regex_replace_automation, sub, api/recipe-from-source/. The attack works because the shared-Space automation engine evaluates the malicious pattern during recipe import and can occupy a Gunicorn worker until its request timeout. This can exhaust application worker slots and make the service unavailable to users. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-35046 5.4 medium 0.00% tandoor, recipes Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.4, Tandoor Recipes allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary <style> tags into recipe step instructions. The bleach.clean() sanitizer explicitly whitelists the <style> tag, causing the backend to persist and serve unsanitized CSS payloads via the API. Any client consuming instructions_markdown from the API and rendering it as HTML without additional sanitization will execute attacker-controlled CSS — enabling UI redressing, phishing overlays, visual defacement, and CSS-based data exfiltration. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.4. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-59967 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Tandoor Recipes is an application for managing recipes, planning meals, and building shopping lists. Prior to 2.6.10, looks up BookmarkletImport by sequential primary key within the active Space without restricting created_by to the requesting user when an authenticated member of a shared Space submits another member's pending bookmarklet identifier to POST /api/recipe-from-source/. Request processing uses api/recipe-from-source/, BookmarkletImport, filter, delete. The attack works because the endpoint parses and returns the victim's stored URL and captured page content, then unconditionally deletes the victim's pending import. This can disclose authenticated or private captured page content and destroy another Space member's pending import. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.10. 19 Oct
