| CVE-2026-61729 | 9.4 critical | — | socfortress, copilot | SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.76, `verify_graylog_header` in `backend/app/active_response/routes/graylog.py` and `verify_velociraptor_header` in `backend/app/incidents/routes/incident_alert.py` authenticate webhooks against `GRAYLOG_API_HEADER_VALUE` and `VELOCIRAPTOR_API_HEADER_VALUE` with the same publicly hardcoded fallback. The same default is shipped in `.env.example`. Deployments that leave either setting unset or unchanged permit an anonymous caller with the known header value to bypass the JWT authentication required by normal APIs. `POST /api/graylog/invoke` forwards attacker-selected `COMMAND`, `ACTION`, `VALUE` and `AGENT_ID` to the configured Wazuh manager without the command-enum validation of the authenticated invocation route, allowing active-response scripts to disrupt endpoints and manipulate defensive controls. `POST /api/incidents/alerts/create/threshold` and `POST /api/incidents/alerts/create/velo-sigma` accept forged alerts for arbitrary `customer_code` values and drive attacker-controlled OpenSearch queries. Active-response delivery requires a configured reachable Wazuh manager. Deployments with independently changed header secrets are not subject to this default-secret bypass. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.76. | 9 h ago |
| CVE-2026-6290 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | rapid7, velociraptor | Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.3 contain a vulnerability in the query() plugin which allows access to all orgs with the user's current ACL token. This allows an authenticated GUI user with access in one org, to use the query() plugin, in a notebook cell, to run VQL queries on other orgs which they may not have access to. The user's permissions in the other org are the same as the permissions they have in the org containing the notebook. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-19200 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Velociraptor verify() VQL function allows a user to verify an artifact for syntatic and other issues. Due to an implementation fault in this VQL function, the global artifact repository is used which allows callers to overwrite existing artifacts without the required permissions. The attacker need only have the NOTEBOOK_EDIT permission (e.g. an analyst role) to be able to call this function. | 12 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18860 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor allows multi-tenant deployments named "Orgs". By default Velociraptor, uses the ROOT org, but users can create child orgs for other tenants within the same deployment. Users can have different permissions in each org. To manage Orgs, Velociraptor usually examines the ORG_ADMIN permission on the ROOT org. This issue results from the Velociraptor server allowing for the deletion of Orgs by incorrectly checking the ORG_ADMIN permission of callers within the calling ORG instead of the ROOT org. However, Org admins of child orgs were able to add this permission to their ACL token within their own org. This allows an administrator in a child org, which is not also an administrator in the ROOT org, to delete other orgs. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61708 | 8.5 high | — | socfortress, copilot | SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.76, `POST /api/agent_data_store/upload` in `backend/app/data_store/data_store_routes.py` permits `customer_user` callers to choose `bucket_name` and `object_name` without an allowlist, tenant prefix, ownership check or content restriction. The only file check requires a nonempty filename. The operations in `backend/app/data_store/data_store_operations.py` create missing buckets and upsert objects, allowing existing objects belonging to any tenant to be overwritten. Targets include `sysmon-configs/<customer_code>/sysmon_config.xml` distributed to managed Windows endpoints, `copilot-case-report-templates/<name>` rendered server-side, and case evidence or forensic artifacts under `copilot-cases/<case_id>/<file>` and `velociraptor-artifacts/<agent_id>/<flow_id>/<file>`. A lowest-privilege user can tamper with cross-tenant evidence, blind endpoint telemetry, poison report templates for later code execution, plant data or exhaust storage. Sibling list, download and delete routes remain restricted to admin/analyst; the exposed operation is the upload write path. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.76. | 8 h ago |
| CVE-2026-64954 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor allows scheduling new collections via VQL queries in notebooks. For a user to schedule a new collection, they require the COLLECT_CLIENT permission. However, this is not enforced when the user can run a VQL query which resets the authorization provider. This allows a user who can run arbitrary VQL (usually with the "analyst" role) to launch new collections (usually requires the "investigator" role). This vulnerability is an escalation from an analyst to investigator role. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-15371 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor's web GUI allows specifying a custom type for columns in tables. The URL type takes the cell value and forms a URL which can be clicked in the GUI.The code does not limit the schemes allowed in this URL , allowing an attacker to specify a JavaScript scheme exposing the user to XSS. | 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61739 | 7.5 high | — | socfortress, copilot | SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.77, the Velociraptor Sigma exclusion-management endpoints in `backend/app/incidents/routes/incident_alert.py` omit role and tenant authorization, and `POST /api/incidents/alerts/create/velo-sigma/exclusion` does not validate credentials. Its `return_username_for_logging` dependency in `backend/app/auth/utils.py` calls `decode_token`, which returns ordinary Invalid token or Expired signature strings on failure, and the dependency passes these strings through instead of rejecting the request. A Bearer header is required, but an arbitrary invalid, expired or forged value can create a suppression rule without a valid account. The collection GET at /create/velo-sigma/exclusion lists exclusions; the read, update and delete routes under `/create/velo-sigma/exclusion/{exclusion_id}`, and the `/velo-sigma/exclusion/{exclusion_id}/toggle` route, use `get_current_user` without role checks, permitting any authenticated `customer_user` to manage every exclusion. In `backend/app/incidents/services/velo_sigma.py`, `process_sigma_alert` calls `check_exclusions` and drops matching enabled alerts before incident creation. A null `customer_code` applies a rule across all tenants. Attackers can suppress detections platform-wide through channel, title or field matching, while low-privilege accounts can enumerate detection-tuning data and modify, disable or delete legitimate exclusions. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.77. | 8 h ago |
| CVE-2026-18639 | 7.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | When Velociraptor is configured to use an OIDC IdP for authentication, it uses the email claim as a username. However, some IdP allow users to change the email claim without verification. Some IdPs do not set the "email_verified" claim and do not actually verify the email. This allows a user to impersonate another user by setting their email address within the IdP, allowing account takeover. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18635 | 7.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor's VQL has a query() plugin which allows running a VQL query in a different org or user context. To be able to run as a different user, the calling user needs to have the IMPERSONATE permission (usually only given to administrators). Velociraptor versions prior to 0.77.2 evaluate this permission against the caller's org instead of against the target org. This allows an administrator in one org to impersonate another user in another org, in which they may not have the IMPERSONATE permission. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6863 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.4 contain a cross organization authorization bypass in the HTTP API. A user with only the reader role in the root organization (the lowest authenticated role, holding only READ_RESULTS permission ) can issue a single authenticated HTTP GET that can read any files from other orgs - even if they have no explicit permissions in the target org. However, the problem does not occur in reverse - a user with read access to a sub org is unable to read from other org or the root org. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18636 | 6.8 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The Velociraptor gRPC API has a VFSGetBuffer endpoint which allows reading files from the datastore. To prevent users from reading sensitive files or accessing other orgs, the requested path is prefix checked against a list of denied prefixes. This prefix check can be bypassed allowing a user to access usually denied files. If the user has read permission in the ROOT org, this allows access to other orgs, in which the user may not have permission. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-5329 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | rapid7, velociraptor | Rapid7 Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.2 contain an improper input validation vulnerability in the client monitoring message handler on the Velociraptor server (primarily Linux) that allows an authenticated remote attacker to write to arbitrary internal server queues via a crafted monitoring message with a malicious queue name. The server handler that receives client monitoring messages does not sufficiently validate the queue name supplied by the client, allowing a rogue client to write arbitrary messages to privileged internal queues. This may lead to remote code execution on the Velociraptor server. Rapid7 Hosted Velociraptor instances are not affected by this vulnerability. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64952 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | The hunt_delete() VQL function allows deleting hunts. Velociraptor misapplied the permission check requiring only COLLECT_CLIENT (usually assigned to the "investigator" role) instead of the "DELETE_RESULTS" permission (usually only assigned to "administrators"). | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18652 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor allows reading Stacked result sets from the GUI. Velociraptor's multi-tenant design stores sub orgs within the datastore directory. The path requested by the GUI is not correctly checked against the prefix deny list, allowing result sets to read from denied prefixes. In particular, a user with read access to the root org can access result sets from child orgs. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18638 | 6.5 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Any authenticated Velociraptor user — including one holding only the readerrole — can terminate the entire server process with a single request, by calling SetPassword with a username that does not exist. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-17535 | 6.2 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor's NTFS parsing library mishandles several out of bound and memory exhaustion bugs which may be triggered by maliciously crafted NTFS images. Typically Velociraptor's NTFS parser is used on live NTFS filesystems, limiting the opportunity of attackers corrupting the filesystem. However, in some applications (e.g. dead disk forensics https://docs.velociraptor.app/docs/forensic/deaddisk/ ) Velociraptor may be used on untrusted NTFS image files. If an attacker is able to inject maliciously corrupted NTFS Volumes they can cause a crash and a Denial of Service. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64955 | 6.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | When Microsoft Excel imports a CSV file, it executes cells beginning with certain characters as formulas, giving such CSV files arbitrary execution. Velociraptor fails to sanitize such cells when exporting to CSV from various places such as the GUI, offline collector or data exports. It is not clear if the vulnerability is actually in Microsoft Excel treating a CSV data file as executable content, or if Velociraptor should be sanitizing the data to prevent Excel from executing it. However, since this is such a common use case for Velociraptor we decided to highlight it in an advisory. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-6948 | 4.9 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Velociraptor versions prior to 0.76.4 contain a resource exhaustion vulnerability in the server's agent control channel. This allows a compromised or rogue Velociraptor client to crash the server via out-of-memory (OOM) by sending crafted messages through the normal client communication channel. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-18348 | 4.1 medium | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Missing authorization check in the upload_azure, upload_sftp, and upload_smb VQL plugins allows an authenticated analyst-role user can initiate attacker-controlled outbound network connections from the Velociraptor server, bypassing the NETWORK ACL permission boundary. This enables internal network reconnaissance via port oracle and potential data exfiltration to external endpoints. | 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-64951 | 3.5 low | 0.00% | no CPE yet | A rogue Velociraptor client can upload a malformed sparse file such that if the GUI attempts to expand the file, a panic occurs which may crash the server process. The problem is a Divide by Zero bug in the ShouldPadFile() function. | Sat 24 Oct |
