CVE-2026-68582exploit 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Vikunja versions >= 0.24.0 and <= 2.3.0 contain a broken object level authorization (BOLA) vulnerability in the task-collection endpoint (GET /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/tasks). The endpoint loads the requested project view from the URL path without verifying the caller is authorized for it. For a link-share token holder, the task scope is pinned to the share's own project, but the view is taken from the attacker-controlled path and never re-validated. As a result, a holder of any project share link can read any other tenant's kanban bucket records — bucket titles and the full created_by user object (username, name, id) — for every view in the instance. The same missing pre-authorization view load also creates a project/view-ID existence oracle (404 vs. non-404) usable by link shares and ordinary authenticated users. Task contents remain constrained to the share's own project and are not disclosed. Fixed in 2.4.0. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-116238 9.2 critical 0.00% pgadmin.org, pgadmin 4 In server mode pgAdmin 4 locks an internal account after MAX_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS failed logins (3 by default). The limit could be bypassed, giving an unauthenticated attacker an unlimited number of password guesses against any internal account, including the administrator's, in the default configuration: - Flask-Security registers its own views next to pgAdmin's. A login submitted to its /login view was checked and logged in without pgAdmin's failed login count or lock. Its /verify view checked a signed-in user's password without limit, its /change view changed a password without pgAdmin's change password permission or re-encrypting the user's saved server passwords, and its /reset views sent and applied password resets for accounts that are not internal or are locked. - The internal account was looked up by its exact username, while the login form matches the email ignoring case, so a login with the username typed in another case was neither counted nor checked for the lock. - With LDAP or webserver authentication also configured, a wrong internal password was never counted, and with Kerberos or webserver authentication configured a guess could be answered without being counted. In addition, where accounts from different authentication sources share an email address, a password reset could be sent for, or applied to, an account from another source, and the About box showed the server configuration to a user whose email was that of an administrator's account. The fix refuses submissions to Flask-Security's own views, counts every failed internal login however the username is typed and whatever other sources are configured, no longer lets a login that posts a password fall back to an authentication source that does not check it, and locks only internal authentication. Password resets and the About box act only on the user's own internal account. Desktop mode is not affected. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2025-40890 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet A Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability was discovered in the Dashboards functionality due to improper validation of an input parameter. An authenticated low-privilege user can craft a malicious dashboard containing a JavaScript payload and share it with victim users, or a victim can be socially engineered to import a malicious dashboard template. When the victim views or imports the dashboard, the XSS executes in their browser context, allowing the attacker to perform unauthorized actions as the victim, such as modify application data, disrupt application availability, and access limited sensitive information. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-54162 4.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Ember is a real-time terminal dashboard for Caddy servers with FrankenPHP support. Prior to 1.4.2, interactive TUI row formatters pass Caddy access-log fields, particularly the request URI, through the `fitCellLeft` render helper without neutralizing terminal escape or control sequences. An unauthenticated remote client can place ANSI, OSC, or CSI control bytes in an ordinary HTTP request target. Caddy JSON-escapes those bytes, `ParseLogLine` decodes them back into raw controls, and the formatters concatenate them into `View()` output reaching `os.Stdout`. When the operator views the default `Logs` tab, the terminal interprets these sequences, allowing monitoring-dashboard spoofing, clipboard hijacking through `OSC 52`, and window-title spoofing through `OSC 0/2`. This works even with a loopback-only log listener because the input arrives through normal Caddy access logs. `Certificates` and `Routes` share secondary unneutralized render sinks. The `--json`, `--once`, and daemon `--expose` modes are unaffected because they do not render an interactive terminal. Consequences depend on the terminal emulator and usually require further operator action to escalate; this is not general-purpose remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.2.
