| CVE-2020-1751 | 7.0 high | 1.0% | gnu, redhat, glibc, enterprise_linux, ubuntu_linux | An out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in glibc before 2.31 when handling signal trampolines on PowerPC. Specifically, the backtrace function did not properly check the array bounds when storing the frame address, resulting in a denial of service or potential code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2019-12418 | 7.0 high | 1.0% | apache, debian, tomcat, debian_linux, workload_manager | When Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.28, 8.5.0 to 8.5.47, 7.0.0 and 7.0.97 is configured with the JMX Remote Lifecycle Listener, a local attacker without access to the Tomcat process or configuration files is able to manipulate the RMI registry to perform a man-in-the-middle attack to capture user names and passwords used to access the JMX interface. The attacker can then use these credentials to access the JMX interface and gain complete control over the Tomcat instance. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-5188 | 6.7 medium | 1.0% | e2fsprogs_project, fedoraproject, e2fsprogs, fedora, debian_linux | A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-9639 | 6.5 medium | 1.0% | canonical, lxd | Nil-pointer dereference in CreateCustomVolumeFromBackup in LXD up to version 6.8 and 5.21 on Linux allows an authenticated user with can_create_storage_volumes permissions to cause a denial of service via a specially crafted custom-volume backup tarball that omits the expires_at snapshot field. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2019-13627 | 6.3 medium | 1.0% | canonical, opensuse, ubuntu_linux, leap, libgcrypt20 | It was discovered that there was a ECDSA timing attack in the libgcrypt20 cryptographic library. Version affected: 1.8.4-5, 1.7.6-2+deb9u3, and 1.6.3-2+deb8u4. Versions fixed: 1.8.5-2 and 1.6.3-2+deb8u7. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-27171 | 6.0 medium | 1.0% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, debian_linux | An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.8. kernel/bpf/verifier.c has an off-by-one error (with a resultant integer underflow) affecting out-of-bounds speculation on pointer arithmetic, leading to side-channel attacks that defeat Spectre mitigations and obtain sensitive information from kernel memory, aka CID-10d2bb2e6b1d. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2025-38181 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: calipso: Fix null-ptr-deref in calipso_req_{set,del}attr(). syzkaller reported a null-ptr-deref in sock_omalloc() while allocating a CALIPSO option. [0] The NULL is of struct sock, which was fetched by sk_to_full_sk() in calipso_req_setattr(). Since commit a1a5344ddbe8 ("tcp: avoid two atomic ops for syncookies"), reqsk->rsk_listener could be NULL when SYN Cookie is returned to its client, as hinted by the leading SYN Cookie log. Here are 3 options to fix the bug: 1) Return 0 in calipso_req_setattr() 2) Return an error in calipso_req_setattr() 3) Alaways set rsk_listener 1) is no go as it bypasses LSM, but 2) effectively disables SYN Cookie for CALIPSO. 3) is also no go as there have been many efforts to reduce atomic ops and make TCP robust against DDoS. See also commit 3b24d854cb35 ("tcp/dccp: do not touch listener sk_refcnt under synflood"). As of the blamed commit, SYN Cookie already did not need refcounting, and no one has stumbled on the bug for 9 years, so no CALIPSO user will care about SYN Cookie. Let's return an error in calipso_req_setattr() and calipso_req_delattr() in the SYN Cookie case. This can be reproduced by [1] on Fedora and now connect() of nc times out. [0]: TCP: request_sock_TCPv6: Possible SYN flooding on port [::]:20002. Sending cookies. | CVE-2020-13434 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | sqlite, debian, debian_linux, fedora | SQLite through 3.32.0 has an integer overflow in sqlite3_str_vappendf in printf.c. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-10029 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | gnu, fedoraproject, glibc, fedora, ubuntu_linux | The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-12769 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, ubuntu_linux | An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.4.17. drivers/spi/spi-dw.c allows attackers to cause a panic via concurrent calls to dw_spi_irq and dw_spi_transfer_one, aka CID-19b61392c5a8. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-100347 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.145.0, openapi3filter.ValidationHandler uses the routers/legacy router, which passes an unsupported or non-canonical HTTP method for an existing static path to openapi3.PathItem.GetOperation. The default branch of GetOperation panics before authentication runs, so an unauthenticated remote client can repeatedly send methods such as PROPFIND or lowercase get to abort connections and generate stack-trace log growth. The specific panic requires an exact static path; a concrete path matched only by a templated route does not reach the same sink. This issue is fixed in version 0.145.0. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2018-0495 | 4.7 medium | 1.0% | gnupg, canonical, libgcrypt, ubuntu_linux, debian_linux | Libgcrypt before 1.7.10 and 1.8.x before 1.8.3 allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures that can be mitigated through the use of blinding during the signing process in the _gcry_ecc_ecdsa_sign function in cipher/ecc-ecdsa.c, aka the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. To discover an ECDSA key, the attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2020-27170 | 4.7 medium | 1.0% | linux, fedoraproject, linux_kernel, fedora, ubuntu_linux | An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.8. kernel/bpf/verifier.c performs undesirable out-of-bounds speculation on pointer arithmetic, leading to side-channel attacks that defeat Spectre mitigations and obtain sensitive information from kernel memory, aka CID-f232326f6966. This affects pointer types that do not define a ptr_limit. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19965 | 4.7 medium | 1.0% | linux, debian, linux_kernel, debian_linux, ubuntu_linux | In the Linux kernel through 5.4.6, there is a NULL pointer dereference in drivers/scsi/libsas/sas_discover.c because of mishandling of port disconnection during discovery, related to a PHY down race condition, aka CID-f70267f379b5. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-19083 | 4.7 medium | 1.0% | linux, canonical, linux_kernel, ubuntu_linux, leap | Memory leaks in *clock_source_create() functions under drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc in the Linux kernel before 5.3.8 allow attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption). This affects the dce112_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dce112/dce112_resource.c, the dce100_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dce100/dce100_resource.c, the dcn10_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dcn10/dcn10_resource.c, the dcn20_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dcn20/dcn20_resource.c, the dce120_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dce120/dce120_resource.c, the dce110_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dce110/dce110_resource.c, and the dce80_clock_source_create() function in drivers/gpu/drm/amd/display/dc/dce80/dce80_resource.c, aka CID-055e547478a1. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2019-15219 | 4.6 medium | 1.0% | linux, netapp, linux_kernel, h410c_firmware, active_iq_unified_manager | An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.1.8. There is a NULL pointer dereference caused by a malicious USB device in the drivers/usb/misc/sisusbvga/sisusb.c driver. | 8 Oct |

| CVE-2020-11494 | 4.4 medium | 1.0% | linux, opensuse, linux_kernel, leap, debian_linux | An issue was discovered in slc_bump in drivers/net/can/slcan.c in the Linux kernel 3.16 through 5.6.2. It allows attackers to read uninitialized can_frame data, potentially containing sensitive information from kernel stack memory, if the configuration lacks CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL, aka CID-b9258a2cece4. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2020-11609 | 4.3 medium | 1.0% | linux, canonical, linux_kernel, ubuntu_linux | An issue was discovered in the stv06xx subsystem in the Linux kernel before 5.6.1. drivers/media/usb/gspca/stv06xx/stv06xx.c and drivers/media/usb/gspca/stv06xx/stv06xx_pb0100.c mishandle invalid descriptors, as demonstrated by a NULL pointer dereference, aka CID-485b06aadb93. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-112816 | 10.0 critical | — | canonical, lxd | Improper certificate validation in the HTTPS listener in Canonical LXD 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8, 6.9 before 4.0.15, 5.0.11, 5.21.9, 6.10.1 allows an unauthenticated attacker to authenticate as any trusted client and gain full access to the cluster and managed virtual machines via a crafted certificate chain. | 4 h ago |
| CVE-2026-4370 | 10.0 critical | 0.00% | canonical, juju | A vulnerability was identified in Juju from version 3.2.0 until 3.6.19 and from version 4.0 until 4.0.4, where the internal Dqlite database cluster fails to perform proper TLS client and server authentication. Specifically, the Juju controller's database endpoint does not validate client certificates when a new node attempts to join the cluster. An unauthenticated attacker with network reachability to the Juju controller's Dqlite port can exploit this flaw to join the database cluster. Once joined, the attacker gains full read and write access to the underlying database, allowing for total data compromise. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63296 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD allows an authenticated attacker to bypass target project restrictions during instance migration. When migrating an instance to a target project, LXD accepts configuration overrides without validating the new configuration against the target project's enforced restrictions. An attacker can exploit this flaw to move instances with disallowed high-privilege configurations into restricted projects, bypassing security controls. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63297 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD due to a timing flaw during configuration merging allows an authenticated attacker to bypass target project restrictions during cross-project instance copies. When copying an instance to a target project, LXD performs restriction checks before configuration merging is complete, creating a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) condition. An attacker can exploit this flaw to copy instances with disallowed high-privilege configurations into restricted projects, bypassing security controls. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2023-54223 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: xsk: Fix invalid buffer access for legacy rq The below crash can be encountered when using xdpsock in rx mode for legacy rq: the buffer gets released in the XDP_REDIRECT path, and then once again in the driver. This fix sets the flag to avoid releasing on the driver side. XSK handling of buffers for legacy rq was relying on the caller to set the skip release flag. But the referenced fix started using fragment counts for pages instead of the skip flag. | CVE-2026-41583 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | zfnd, zebra-script, zebrad | ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to zebrad version 4.3.1 and prior to zebra-script version 5.0.2, after a refactoring, Zebra failed to validate a consensus rule that restricted the possible values of sighash hash types for V5 transactions which were enabled in the NU5 network upgrade. Zebra nodes could thus accept and eventually mine a block that would be considered invalid by zcashd nodes, creating a consensus split between Zebra and zcashd nodes. In a similar vein, for V4 transactions, Zebra mistakenly used the "canonical" hash type when computing the sighash while zcashd (correctly per the spec) uses the raw value, which could also crate a consensus split. This issue has been patched in zebrad version 4.3.1 and zebra-script version 5.0.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44257 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | efw4.X is an Enterprise Framework for Web. Prior to 4.08.010, efw.file.FileManager.unZip writes zip entries to disk using new File(baseDir, zipEntry.getName()) with no canonical-path check. An entry name such as ../../../pwned.jsp escapes the intended extraction directory and lands anywhere the Tomcat process can write — including the servlet context root. Combined with the framework's multipart /uploadServlet and an event that calls file.saveUploadFiles + FileManager.unZip, a remote attacker with no credentials drops a JSP webshell and executes arbitrary commands as the Tomcat user. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.08.010. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34177 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | Canonical LXD versions 4.12 through 6.7 contain an incomplete denylist in isVMLowLevelOptionForbidden (lxd/project/limits/permissions.go), which omits raw.apparmor and raw.qemu.conf from the set of keys blocked under the restricted.virtual-machines.lowlevel=block project restriction. A remote attacker with can_edit permission on a VM instance in a restricted project can inject an AppArmor rule and a QEMU chardev configuration that bridges the LXD Unix socket into the guest VM, enabling privilege escalation to LXD cluster administrator and subsequently to host root. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34178 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | In Canonical LXD before 6.8, the backup import path validates project restrictions against backup/index.yaml in the supplied tar archive but creates the instance from backup/container/backup.yaml, a separate file in the same archive that is never checked against project restrictions. An authenticated remote attacker with instance-creation permission in a restricted project can craft a backup archive where backup.yaml carries restricted settings such as security.privileged=true or raw.lxc directives, bypassing all project restriction enforcement and allowing full host compromise. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-34179 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | In Canonical LXD versions 4.12 through 6.7, the doCertificateUpdate function in lxd/certificates.go does not validate the Type field when handling PUT/PATCH requests to /1.0/certificates/{fingerprint} for restricted TLS certificate users, allowing a remote authenticated attacker to escalate privileges to cluster admin. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-111235 | 9.1 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | An authorization bypass vulnerability exists in the REST API of multiple versions of OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon. The /rest/** Spring Security filter chains authorize requests with intercept-url rules that name the HTTP method as an uppercase token, compare the method case-sensitively, and have no terminal deny rule. A request that uses a non-canonical (for example lowercase) method token matches no rule and is processed without authentication. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can read the monitored inventory and can create, modify, or delete resources through the REST API, which includes injecting events to fabricate or suppress alarms. The /rest/alarms chain has the same missing deny rule and discloses whether an alarm exists through a difference in the response. The fix adds a terminal deny rule to each REST filter chain. The solution is to upgrade to Meridian 2024.3.14, 2025.0.11, 2026.0.1 and Horizon 36.0.5 or newer. Meridian and Horizon installation instructions state that they are intended for installation within an organization's private networks and should not be directly accessible from the Internet. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-63923 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | linux, linux_kernel | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: validate body pcifunc in rvu_mbox_handler_rep_event_notify rvu_mbox_handler_rep_event_notify() in drivers/net/ethernet/marvell/ octeontx2/af/rvu_rep.c queues a sender-controlled REP_EVENT_NOTIFY request body verbatim, and rvu_rep_up_notify() then forwards event->pcifunc (the nested body field, distinct from the AF-normalised header pcifunc) into rvu_get_pfvf(), rvu_get_pf() and the AF->PF mailbox device index without any bounds check. A VF attached to a PF that has been put into switchdev representor mode reaches this path: the VF mailbox handler otx2_pfvf_mbox_handler() forwards every message id including MBOX_MSG_REP_EVENT_NOTIFY to AF without an allowlist, and the AF dispatcher rewrites only msg->pcifunc, leaving struct rep_event::pcifunc attacker-controlled. The sibling rvu_mbox_handler_esw_cfg() refuses requests whose header pcifunc is not rvu->rep_pcifunc; this handler has no equivalent gate. An out-of-range body pcifunc selects an &rvu->pf[]/&rvu->hwvf[] element past the allocated array and, for RVU_EVENT_MAC_ADDR_CHANGE, turns into a six-byte attacker-chosen OOB ether_addr_copy() target inside the queued worker; KASAN reports a slab-out-of-bounds write in rvu_rep_wq_handler. Reject malformed requests at the handler entry by gating on is_pf_func_valid(), which is already the canonical PF/VF range check in this driver; expose it via rvu.h so callers in rvu_rep.c can use it instead of open-coding the same range arithmetic. | Tue 27 Oct |

| CVE-2026-89777 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vfio/pci: clear vdev->msi_perm after freeing it on init failure vfio_msi_cap_len() lazily allocates the per-device MSI permission table: vdev->msi_perm = kmalloc_obj(struct perm_bits, GFP_KERNEL_ACCOUNT); if (!vdev->msi_perm) return -ENOMEM; ret = init_pci_cap_msi_perm(vdev->msi_perm, len, flags); if (ret) { kfree(vdev->msi_perm); return ret; /* vdev->msi_perm left dangling */ } When init_pci_cap_msi_perm() -> alloc_perm_bits() fails with -ENOMEM, the error path frees vdev->msi_perm but leaves the freed pointer stored in it. vdev->msi_perm is not re-zeroed later because struct vfio_pci_core_device is per-device and persists across open/close cycles, and the vfio_config_init() error path returns without calling vfio_config_free(). So the dangling pointer outlives the failed open. That leads to two use-after-frees on the same device: 1. Reuse. The next vfio_config_init() sees the stale pointer at "if (vdev->msi_perm) return len;" and reuses the freed object. MSI config accesses in vfio_pci_config_rw_single() then dereference and call the freed perm->readfn / perm->writefn function pointers. 2. Double free. A later vfio_config_free() runs free_perm_bits() and kfree() on the already-freed object. Fix it by NULLing vdev->msi_perm after the kfree(), matching the NULL-after-free discipline already used in free_perm_bits() and vfio_config_free(). | CVE-2026-46366 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | phpMyFAQ before 4.1.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the getIdFromSolutionId() method that lacks permission filtering, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate restricted FAQ entries and read their titles via the /solution_id_{id}.html endpoint. Attackers can sequentially iterate solution IDs to discover all FAQs including those restricted to specific users or groups, leaking sensitive metadata through redirect Location headers and page canonical links. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-16033 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | canonical, lxd | A path traversal vulnerability in LXD allows an attacker to achieve arbitrary host file read or unconstrained file creation. When processing image metadata templates, LXD fails to properly sanitize or restrict template file paths from escaping the instance templates directory (specifically affecting virtual machine / QEMU driver execution paths). An attacker can exploit this flaw by providing a crafted image archive with malicious template directives containing path traversal sequences, causing LXD to access or write files outside the intended template directory on the host system. | 23 Oct |

| CVE-2026-98454 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix create context out-of-bounds reads smb2_parse_contexts() validates the complete create-context area but does not limit each record to its Next field before dispatching it. A malformed chain can therefore expose bytes beyond the current context to a handler. The QFid handler also used a full response-structure cast although it only reads DiskFileId. The SMB2/SMB3 lease parsers made the same layout assumption: they read LeaseState and LeaseFlags at canonical offsets rather than at DataOffset. A valid non-canonical DataOffset could therefore yield unrelated in-bounds data, while a short DataLength was still accepted. Limit each context to its Next value, reject offsets before the context header, and reject malformed chains. Bound the name range by the current context and do not dispatch a known handler when DataLength is zero. Read the QFid DiskFileId only when the context data covers that field. Parse the lease context from DataOffset and require DataLength to match the v1 or v2 lease_context size used by ksmbd. A size mismatch skips lease parsing without failing the open. | Sat 24 Oct |

| CVE-2023-54206 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: flower: fix filter idr initialization The cited commit moved idr initialization too early in fl_change() which allows concurrent users to access the filter that is still being initialized and is in inconsistent state, which, in turn, can cause NULL pointer dereference [0]. Since there is no obvious way to fix the ordering without reverting the whole cited commit, alternative approach taken to first insert NULL pointer into idr in order to allocate the handle but still cause fl_get() to return NULL and prevent concurrent users from seeing the filter while providing miss-to-action infrastructure with valid handle id early in fl_change(). That path is taken when the object is marked as no longer needed. Code analysis revealed a possibility of the i915 TTM page vector container being replaced with a new instance inside a function that purges content of the object, should it be still busy. That function is called, indirectly via a more general function that changes the object's placement and caching policy, ---truncated--- | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47331 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | canonical, ubuntu_linux | Ubuntu Linux 6.8 contains AppArmor SAUCE patches which fail to acquire a lock when modifying a linked list. An unprivileged local user could trigger the race condition that can lead to a use-after-free (UAF) and, theoretically, arbitrary code execution. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-47333 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | canonical, ubuntu_linux | Ubuntu Linux 6.8, 6.17 and 7.0 contain AppArmor SAUCE patches which can potentially incorrectly compute the size of an internal buffer, leading to a heap memory out-of-bounds read in notification handling code. The bug can be triggered by an unprivileged local user and can result in invalid data being processed by the AppArmor DFA policy engine. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-99016 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: futex: untag the user pointer before the atomic access access_ok() checks untagged_addr(uaddr), but arch_futex_atomic_op_inuser() and futex_atomic_cmpxchg_inatomic() hand the raw uaddr to the inline asm amoswap/amoadd/.../lr.w+sc.w through the "+m" (*uaddr) operand. When the tagged address ABI is enabled (CONFIG_RISCV_ISA_SUPM, prctl PR_SET_TAGGED_ADDR_CTRL with PMLEN != 0), those two addresses differ: a user pointer whose top PMLEN bits hold a tag passes access_ok() after untagging, but the atomic is then performed on the still-tagged raw address. Supervisor-mode data accesses are not subject to the U-mode pointer masking (that is governed by menvcfg.PMM, which the kernel does not set), so hardware does not strip the tag for the kernel's own access. With Sv57 and PMLEN=16 the tag bits overlap the canonical-address bits, so a tagged pointer can name a canonical kernel virtual address (e.g. in the linear map) whose untagged form is a valid user address. An unprivileged process can thus make FUTEX_WAKE_OP perform an atomic read-modify-write on an arbitrary kernel address, with the matching FUTEX_OP_CMP_* result serving as a read oracle. get_user()/put_user()/raw_copy_{to,from}_user() already untag the pointer after the access_ok() check; do the same in the futex helpers so the atomic operates on the address that was actually validated. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-98382 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject dev-bound-only programs on other devices __bpf_offload_dev_match() falls back to comparing offdev pointers after an exact netdev mismatch. Bound-only programs normally have NULL offdevs, so unrelated netdevs compare equal. A bound-only program on an offload-registered netdev can instead inherit a real offdev and match a sibling port. With CAP_BPF and CAP_NET_ADMIN, a caller can use bpf(BPF_LINK_CREATE) with a different target ifindex to run metadata kfuncs specialized for the bound driver on the target driver's xdp_buff. Running a veth-bound program on tun reads beyond tun's bare stack xdp_buff as a veth_xdp_buff.
