CVE-2022-37911 5.5 medium 1.0% arubanetworks, sd-wan, arubaos Due to improper restrictions on XML entities multiple vulnerabilities exist in the command line interface of ArubaOS. A successful exploit could allow an authenticated attacker to retrieve files from the local system or cause the application to consume system resources, resulting in a denial of service condition. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-26032 5.4 medium 1.0% apache, ivy The PackagerResolver of Apache Ivy is able to download online artifacts and to (re)package them in a format defined by a packager.xml file. This repackaging is done by an Ant script, which is stored in a subdirectory of the configured "buildRoot" directory. This subdirectory is calculated based on modules coordinates, like the organisation, name or version. If one of the coordinates contains "../" sequences - which are valid characters for Ivy coordinates in general- it is possible to break out of the configured "buildRoot" directory where other files can be overwritten. In order to exploit this vulnerability an attacker needs to have access to a packager repository and add or modify the coordinates in ivy.xml files to have such "../" sequences. Users of Apache Ivy 2.0.0 to 2.5.3 (inclusive) should upgrade to Ivy 2.6.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-28573 10.0 critical 0.00% google, android In AndroidManifest.xml, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42858 9.9 critical 0.00% openedx Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. The sync_provider_data endpoint in SAMLProviderDataViewSet allows authenticated Enterprise Admin users to supply an arbitrary URL via the metadata_url POST parameter. This URL is passed directly to requests.get() in fetch_metadata_xml() without any URL validation, IP filtering, or scheme enforcement. An attacker with Enterprise Admin privileges can force the server to make HTTP requests to internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints (e.g., AWS 169.254.169.254), or other attacker-controlled destinations. This vulnerability is fixed by commit 6fda1f120ff5a590d120ae1180185525f399c6d0 and 70a56246dd9c9df57c596e64bdd8a11b1d9da054. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-64637 9.9 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Improper privilege management in the XML-RPC API of Plesk before 18.0.80, allows an authenticated reseller to obtain an administrative session for the root user account. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-18108 9.8 critical 0.00% timlegge, net\ Net::SAML2 versions before 0.86 for Perl allow authentication bypass because _verify_encrypted_assertion accepts an EncryptedAssertion whose decrypted content carries no signature. _verify_encrypted_assertion decrypts the EncryptedAssertion and returns it as verified when it carries no signature, via "return $xml unless $xpath->exists('dsig:Signature', $assert);". The signature check and the trust anchor check that follow run only when a signature is present, so a decrypted assertion with no dsig:Signature element reaches new_from_xml unverified and its NameID and attributes are read into the assertion object. An SP's encryption certificate is published in its SAML metadata so the IdP can encrypt to it, so any party can encrypt an unsigned assertion to that certificate, wrap it in a samlp:Response, and post it to the assertion consumer service. Any caller that configures a decryption key_file, and so accepts EncryptedAssertions, takes identity fields from an assertion that no trust anchor covers, and an unauthenticated party can authenticate as an arbitrary user. Callers with no key_file configured do not decrypt and are unaffected. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-40042 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Pachno 1.0.6 contains an XML external entity injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by exploiting unsafe XML parsing in the TextParser helper. Attackers can inject malicious XML entities through wiki table syntax and inline tags in issue descriptions, comments, and wiki articles to trigger entity resolution via simplexml_load_string() without LIBXML_NONET restrictions. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42155 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Magento Long Term Support (LTS) is an unofficial, community-driven project provides an alternative to the Magento Community Edition e-commerce platform with a high level of backward compatibility. Prior to 20.18.0, the XML-RPC / SOAP API session ID is generated using an outdated, time-based construction rather than a Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator (CSPRNG). All inputs to the MD5 hash are time-derived and non-secure. Because the resulting digest relies entirely on the timestamp and the PHP internal LCG state, the effective entropy is severely constrained. This violates the OWASP ASVS v4 requirement of ≥ 64 bits of entropy (V3.2.2) and NIST SP 800-63B standards. By narrowing the LCG window (via server state leaks or general predictability) and leveraging the lack of API rate-limiting, an attacker can generate a localized pool of candidate MD5 hashes and execute a high-speed online brute-force attack to hijack active API sessions. This vulnerability is fixed in 20.18.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-66394 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet SiYuan before v3.7.3 contains stored and reflected cross-site scripting vulnerabilities in SVG sanitization that allows authenticated attackers to execute scripts by bypassing the HTML parser-based cleaner. Attackers can hide script tags within desc, style, or noscript elements which the HTML parser treats as raw text but browsers interpret as executable SVG content when served as image/svg+xml, enabling script execution in the application origin. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-16626 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Improper restriction of XML external entity reference vulnerability (unauthenticated) in Jaspersoft JasperReports Server. This issue affects JasperReports Server: from 9.0.0 before HF-9 and from 10.0.0 before HF-10. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2025-40934 9.3 critical 0.00% xml\, \ XML-Sig versions 0.27 through 0.67 for Perl incorrectly validates XML files if signatures are omitted. An attacker can remove the signature from the XML document to make it pass the verification check. XML-Sig is a Perl module to validate signatures on XML files. An unsigned XML file should return an error message. The affected versions return true when attempting to validate an XML file that contains no signatures. 18 Oct
CVE-2023-7325 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Anheng Mingyu Operation and Maintenance Audit and Risk Control System up to 2023-08-10 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the xmlrpc.sock handler. The product accepts specially crafted XML-RPC requests that can be used to instruct the server to connect to internal unix socket RPC endpoints and perform privileged XML-RPC methods. An attacker able to send such requests can invoke administrative RPC methods via the unix socket interface to create arbitrary user accounts on the system, resulting in account creation and potential takeover of the bastion host. VulnCheck has observed this vulnerability being exploited in the wild as of 2025-10-30 at 00:30:17.837319 UTC. 18 Oct
CVE-2025-66567 9.3 critical 0.00% onelogin, ruby-saml The ruby-saml library is for implementing the client side of a SAML authorization. ruby-saml versions up to and including 1.12.4 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2025-25292. ReXML and Nokogiri parse XML differently, generating entirely different document structures from the same input. This allows an attacker to execute a Signature Wrapping attack. This issue is fixed in version 1.18.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-66568 9.3 critical 0.00% onelogin, ruby-saml The ruby-saml library implements the client side of an SAML authorization. Versions up to and including 1.12.4, are vulnerable to authentication bypass through the libxml2 canonicalization process used by Nokogiri for document transformation, which allows an attacker to execute a Signature Wrapping attack. When libxml2’s canonicalization is invoked on an invalid XML input, it may return an empty string rather than a canonicalized node. ruby-saml then proceeds to compute the DigestValue over this empty string, treating it as if canonicalization succeeded. This issue is fixed in version 1.18.0. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-102037 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet An XML Injection vulnerability in the Unified Threat Management daemon (utmd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series devices allows an unauthenticated network attacker to commit arbitrary device configuration with root privileges via a malicious response from a configured custom URL-feed server. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-40682 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, opennlp XML External Entity (XXE) via Unsanitized Dictionary Parsing in Apache OpenNLP DictionaryEntryPersistor Versions Affected: before 2.5.9, before 3.0.0-M3 Description: The DictionaryEntryPersistor class initializes a static SAXParserFactory at class-load time without enabling FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING or disabling DTD processing. When create(InputStream, EntryInserter) is invoked, the only feature set on the XMLReader is namespace support — external entity resolution and DOCTYPE declarations remain fully enabled. An attacker who can supply a crafted dictionary file (e.g., a stop-word list or domain dictionary) containing a malicious DOCTYPE declaration can trigger local file disclosure via file:// entity references or server-side request forgery via http:// entity references during SAX parsing, before the application processes a single dictionary entry. This is inconsistent with the project's own XmlUtil.createSaxParser() helper, which correctly sets FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING and disallow-doctype-decl and is used by all other XML parsing paths in the codebase. The public Dictionary(InputStream) constructor delegates directly to this method and is the documented API for loading user-supplied dictionaries, making untrusted input a realistic scenario. Mitigation: 2.x users should upgrade to 2.5.9. 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M3. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should ensure that all dictionary files are sourced from trusted origins and should consider wrapping the Dictionary(InputStream) constructor with input validation that rejects any XML containing a DOCTYPE declaration before it reaches the parser. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-13449 9.1 critical 0.00% ibm, business_automation_manager IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions 9.0.0 through 9.4.2 is vulnerable to an XML external entity injection (XXE) attack when processing XML data. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to expose sensitive information or consume memory resources. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-32327 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, apr-util A bug in APR-util version 1.6.3 (and earlier) allows a stack recursion attack against any library consumer which parses XML from untrusted sources and uses the apr_xml_quote_elem() function. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.6.4, which fixes this issue. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-9487 9.1 critical 0.00% xml\, \ XML::Sig versions before 0.71 for Perl allow signature wrapping via duplicate ID. _get_signed_xml() in lib/XML/Sig.pm, called from verify(), resolves the SignedInfo Reference/@URI to a node with the XPath expression "//*[@ID='$id']" and returns the first node of the resulting node set. A document in which two elements share that ID value is accepted: the digest and signature are checked against whichever element comes first in document order, and the duplicate is not detected. Such a document verifies successfully while an application that resolves the same ID independently can read the second, attacker supplied element; in a SAML2 context this places the contents of an Assertion under attacker control. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-50189 8.9 high 0.00% appsmith Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 2.1, Appsmith's bundled supervisord exposes an XML-RPC interface on port 9001, reachable from outside the container via a Caddy reverse-proxy route at /supervisor/* on the public ingress. Combined with the APPSMITH_SUPERVISOR_PASSWORD exposed via GET /api/v1/admin/env, any authenticated administrator can send arbitrary XML-RPC calls to supervisord and execute OS commands inside the Docker container via twiddler.addProgramToGroup. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2025-59431 8.9 high 0.00% osgeo, mapserver MapServer is a system for developing web-based GIS applications. Prior to 8.4.1, the XML Filter Query directive PropertyName is vulnerably to Boolean-based SQL injection. It seems like expression checking is bypassed by introducing double quote characters in the PropertyName. Allowing to manipulate backend database queries. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.4.1. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-8532 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Integer overflow in XML in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-13835 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Inappropriate implementation in XML in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-108358 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. Prior to 1.30.7, 2.1.19, 2.4.8, 3.10.8, and 5.10.0, XmlScanner::scan in src/PhpSpreadsheet/Reader/Security/XmlScanner.php uses a DOCTYPE detection pattern that accounts for NUL-byte interleaving but not ISO-2022 escape sequences in XLSX XML parts. The escape sequences prevent the scanner from matching the declaration, and XML charset normalization then removes the escape bytes before parsing, exposing a valid DOCTYPE and entity definitions. Processing an attacker-controlled XLSX can therefore cause entity-expansion denial of service on supported PHP versions and can permit local file access or SSRF on PHP before 8.0 or when LIBXML_NOENT is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.7, 2.1.19, 2.4.8, 3.10.8, and 5.10.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-108357 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. From 3.3.0 until 3.10.8 and 5.10.0, Reader\Xml passes stored SpreadsheetML XML through XmlScanner::scan in Xml::canRead and Xml::trySimpleXMLLoadStringPrivate, while Xml::unentity decodes numeric entities only after each DOCTYPE pattern check. A double-encoded less-than character is reduced by the first callback to another encoded character and by the second callback to a literal less-than sign, so SimpleXML receives an unchecked DOCTYPE and entity declaration. Processing attacker-controlled SpreadsheetML XML can cause entity-expansion denial of service and can permit local file access or SSRF on PHP before 8.0 or when LIBXML_NOENT is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 3.10.8 and 5.10.0. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113284 8.8 high 0.00% google, chrome Memory corruption in XML in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) 21 Oct
CVE-2026-18661 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet In Eclipse Jetty, across various versions of `jetty-annotations`, and `jetty-eeN-annotations`, the Jakarta Spec authoritative url-pattern rules for mixed `@ServletSecurity` annotation, and `web.xml` defined `security-constraint` on the same `url-pattern` were not being applied if the `web.xml` had more than 1 `url-pattern` for a servlet, and had a `security-constraint` applying to only some of those `url-pattern` definitions. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-66214 8.8 high 0.00% wearefrank, ladybug Ladybug adds message-based debugging, unit, system, and regression testing to Java applications. Versions prior to 3.0-20251107.114628 contain the APIs /iaf/ladybug/api/report/{storage} and /iaf/ladybug/api/report/upload, which allow uploading gzip-compressed XML files with user-controllable content. The system deserializes these XML files, enabling attackers to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) by submitting carefully crafted XML payloads and thereby gain access to the target server. This issue is fixed in version 3.0-20251107.114628. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-3415 8.7 high 0.00% wso2, wso2 api manager, wso2 universal gateway, wso2 traffic manager The XML and schema validation functionalities within the SchemaValidator Mediator process XML input as part of validation flows. Under certain conditions, the XML parser allows the resolution of external entities when handling user-supplied XML content during validation operations. This behavior can occur when an attacker supplies crafted XML payloads to the relevant mediator flows with sufficient privileges. Successful exploitation may allow a highly privileged actor to read files accessible within the server hosting the affected product. Additionally, it may be possible to trigger outbound requests to unintended internal or external locations, depending on the server environment and network configuration. Specially crafted XML payloads can also lead to excessive resource consumption during parsing, impacting the availability of the product. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-76641 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Expat through 2.8.3 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by processing XML with external entity parsers created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate. A struct size mismatch between ELEMENT_TYPE members causes storeAtts to read the attIndex member past allocated memory boundaries, resulting in failure to normalize whitespace in non-CDATA attributes or a wild pointer dereference causing a segfault. This vulnerability was introduced by the fix for CVE-2026-66046. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54365 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet CentreStack before 17.3 contains an unauthenticated deserialization vulnerability in GSNamespace.dll that allows unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary local OS user accounts by supplying a crafted base64-encoded XML string to exposed API endpoints. Attackers can send a malicious StorageConfigure parameter to the jsonimportuserbyupn, jsonimportuserbyupnex, or japiimportuserbyupn endpoints to trigger InternalImportAdUserByUPN(), causing GladinetCloudMonitor.exe to invoke the NetUserAdd Windows API with attacker-controlled credentials and create arbitrary directories on the server filesystem. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-115506 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet libexpat through 2.9.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability because billion laughs protection in accountingDiffTolerated() in xmlparse.c detects entity amplification too late. Attackers can supply a moderately sized XML document with a large DTD and nested entity expansions to consume tens of seconds of CPU per parse. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-15803 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet In Eclipse RDF4J, several XML parser entry points do not fully restrict XML External Entity (XXE) processing when parsing untrusted XML-based RDF data or query results, permitting DOCTYPE declarations, external entity references, and external DTD loading. This is due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2018-1000644: the earlier fix did not cover all parser entry points. The issue is resolved in RDF4J 5.3.2, which rejects or disables DOCTYPE declarations, external entities, and external DTD loading by default. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113582 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED Improper restriction of XML external entity references in Apache Abdera allows an attacker to access sensitive data or make server-side requests when an application parses attacker-controlled XML with Abdera. This issue affects Apache Abdera: all versions. Apache Abdera is retired and no longer supported, so we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to migrate to a maintained alternative. Applications that cannot migrate should ensure that untrusted XML cannot reach the affected Abdera parser or JDBC adapter parsing paths. Actively maintained downstream products may still be impacted if they include an affected Abdera artifact. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-109430 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Ellucian WebAdvisor 3.2 contains an unauthenticated XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to submit crafted XML POST requests to the /WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor endpoint without disabling external entity and DTD resolution. Attackers can exploit this flaw to force the server into SSRF requests, coerce NTLMv2 hash disclosure via attacker-controlled SMB shares, and read arbitrary files from the underlying Windows host through an out-of-band error-based channel. WebAdvisor entered end-of-support status in June 2022 and users are encouraged to migrate to Colleague Self-Service. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-104817 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. From 12.112.1 until 2026.7.0, the unauthenticated fetch-rss API lacks rate limiting and response-size restrictions and performs synchronous XML parsing. An attacker can trigger unbounded outbound HTTP requests and synchronous parsing, exhausting instance resources, amplifying requests toward third-party servers, or probing network-reachable services even when federation is disabled. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-77755 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A denial-of-service vulnerability was identified in misp-stix when processing attacker-controlled STIX 1 or STIX 2 documents. The STIX import code used sys.exit() to handle several parsing and loading failures. Because SystemExit inherits from BaseException rather than Exception, these failures bypassed the exception handlers used by callers of the library. As a result, a malformed STIX document could terminate a long-running importer process instead of returning a recoverable parsing error. Additionally, no limit was imposed on the size of STIX documents before parsing. A submitted document was therefore read and materialised in memory before its validity or type was evaluated. Depending on the document and parsing path, processing could consume approximately two to seven times the input size in memory, allowing a sufficiently large STIX document to cause excessive memory and CPU consumption and potentially terminate or severely degrade the importing service. An attacker able to provide STIX content to a MISP-STIX import workflow could exploit either condition to affect availability. A malformed document could cause abnormal process termination through an uncaught SystemExit, while a large document could exhaust resources during deserialisation and conversion. The fixes replace process-terminating sys.exit() calls with catchable exceptions such as STIXLoadingError and MissingSTIXContentError, and extend exception handling around the complete STIX detection and conversion process. The importer also now enforces an input-size limit before parsing. The default maximum is 100 MB, can be adjusted by callers, and can explicitly be disabled when required. STIX 1 inputs are additionally checked for the expected root element before the complete XML tree is constructed. ImpactSuccessful exploitation can cause: * termination of a long-running MISP-STIX importer; * excessive memory allocation; * excessive CPU consumption; * degradation or temporary unavailability of services relying on the converter; * interruption of batch or automated STIX ingestion workflows. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-77090 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet CVFS contained an XML external entity (XXE) reference handling issue affecting information dislcosure. Software customers upgrade to resolved maintenance release. Update CVFS. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-59952 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet MinIO Java SDK is a Simple Storage Service (aka S3) client to perform bucket and object operations to any Amazon S3 compatible object storage service. In minio-java versions prior to 8.6.0, XML tag values containing references to system properties or environment variables were automatically substituted with their actual values during processing. This unintended behavior could lead to the exposure of sensitive information, including credentials, file paths, or system configuration details, if such references were present in XML content from untrusted sources. This is fixed in version 8.6.0. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-50636 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The RemoteControl API methods invite_participants and remind_participants pass a caller-supplied token-ID array into TokenDynamic::findUninvited(), which concatenates the values directly into a tid IN ('...') SQL clause without parameterization or input validation. A remote, authenticated attacker holding the tokens/update permission on a survey can inject a crafted array element to perform SQL injection. Because LimeSurvey configures its PDO connection with emulated prepared statements (emulatePrepare = true) and does not disable MySQL multi-statements, the injection supports stacked queries: the attacker can append arbitrary additional statements (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/DROP/CREATE) after the original SELECT. This permits both arbitrary read of any data in the database, such as administrator bcrypt password hashes (lime_users), survey response PII, session records, and global settings, all recoverable via a SLEEP() time-based blind oracle, and arbitrary write/destruction of that data, including directly overwriting the administrator password hash for immediate account takeover or dropping/truncating tables. Reads and writes extend to any schema the application's database user can access. The RemoteControl interface (RPCInterface = json/xml) must be enabled, which is not the default. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-41936 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Vvveb before version 1.0.8.2 contains an XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in the admin Tools/Import feature that allows authenticated site_admin users to read arbitrary files and modify database records. Attackers can exploit the XML parser configuration in system/import/xml.php to inject file:// or php://filter entity references that are resolved and persisted into the application database, enabling arbitrary file disclosure and administrator password hash overwriting for privilege escalation. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-105868 8.6 high 0.00% payloadcms, payload Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, local upload configurations that accept XML files can store an XML file and stylesheet that execute JavaScript in the Payload origin when a logged-in user opens the file. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-42860 8.5 high 0.00% openedx, edx-enterprise The Open edx Enterprise Service app provides enterprise features to the Open edX platform. From 7.0.2 to 7.0.4, the sync_provider_data endpoint in SAMLProviderDataViewSet fetches SAML metadata from a URL stored in SAMLProviderConfig.metadata_source. An authenticated user with the Enterprise Admin role can set this field to an arbitrary URL via the SAMLProviderConfigViewSet PATCH endpoint, then trigger a server-side HTTP request by calling sync_provider_data. The fetch in fetch_metadata_xml() passes the URL directly to requests.get() with no scheme enforcement, IP filtering, or timeout. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.5. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-12975 8.5 high 0.00% redhat, build_of_apicurio_registry A flaw was found in Apicurio Registry. The ContentTypeUtil.isParsableXml() method creates a SAXParserFactory without enabling secure processing features or disabling external entity resolution. An attacker with artifact-write permission (or unauthenticated when the registry runs with default configuration) can upload a crafted XML document to trigger blind server-side request forgery (SSRF) via external DTD/entity fetch, or cause denial of service via entity expansion. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-55789 8.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet Logto is the modern, open-source auth infrastructure for SaaS and AI apps. Prior to 1.41.0, Logto's self-hosted SAML application IdP built the signed SAML response and assertion by string-substituting user-controlled profile attributes such as name, email, and custom attribute-mapping values into element-text placeholders of a SAML XML template using samlify 2.10.0, which left those placeholders unescaped. An authenticated low-privilege user could place XML markup in a profile attribute so Logto signed a forged SAML attribute, such as an arbitrary role, allowing privilege escalation at relying Service Providers that authorize on SAML attributes. This issue is fixed in version 1.41.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2024-58383 8.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet Froxlor before 2.2.0 (affected up to and including 2.2.0-rc3) generates /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf with mode 0644 via the XML configuration templates in lib/configfiles/, even though the file contains the Froxlor SQL user's password. On systems where the parent directories are world readable (the default on Debian 12), any unprivileged local user able to execute commands or code on the host — including virtual users without SSH access who can upload PHP/CGI scripts — can read the file and obtain the Froxlor database credentials. Database access can then be leveraged to alter an administrator's password hash and TOTP seed, log in as a Froxlor administrator, and ultimately gain root privileges. Only instances configured to use pure-ftpd are affected. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-112198 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in the SAFT import feature of the NoviGest Desktop App. The application processes user-controlled XML files using a JAXB Unmarshaller without properly disabling external entity resolution. An attacker with access to this functionality could provide a manipulated XML file to read local files accessible to the application process. If the application runs with elevated privileges, sensitive system files could be exposed. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-117494 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the processing of SVG images submitted to the /api/v2/ai/sessions API in the format data:image/svg+xml;base64. Script tags embedded in the SVG are processed when the content is rendered in the assistant window, allowing JavaScript to be executed and the displayed content to be altered. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-77214 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet libexpat before commit 13c5f63 contains a heap buffer over-read vulnerability in xmlparse.c. XML_ParseBuffer advances the parse buffer end with parser->m_bufferEnd += len using a caller-supplied length that is not validated against the allocated buffer size, so repeated XML_ParseBuffer calls move m_bufferEnd past the end of the heap allocation and subsequent parsing reads out of bounds. Reaching this path requires a parse buffer to already be present; otherwise XML_ParseBuffer returns XML_ERROR_NO_BUFFER. A buffer is present after a prior call to XML_GetBuffer, either directly (the common case) or indirectly through a prior XML_Parse call that allocates the buffer internally. The over-read discloses adjacent heap memory to the calling application, recovering heap pointers, libc function pointers, and code pointers sufficient to defeat ASLR and build further exploitation primitives. CVE-2026-92877 8.3 high 0.00% no CPE yet The JAXB factory methods historically relied solely on `FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING` to prevent XML External Entity (XXE) resolution. On JAXP implementations where that feature alone does not block external entity resolution, an attacker who can get untrusted XML unmarshalled through JAXB can read local files via out-of-band XXE. 16 Oct
