CVE-2026-40929 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/commentDelete.json.php` is a state-mutating JSON endpoint that deletes comments but performs no CSRF validation. It does not call `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`, does not verify a CSRF/global token, and does not check `Origin`/`Referer`. Because AVideo intentionally sets `session.cookie_samesite=None` (to support cross-origin embed players), a cross-site request from any attacker-controlled page automatically carries the victim's `PHPSESSID`. Any authenticated victim who has authority to delete one or more comments (site moderators, video owners, and comment authors) can be tricked into deleting comments en masse simply by visiting an attacker page. Commit 184f36b1896f3364f864f17c1acca3dd8df3af27 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34247 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `plugin/Live/uploadPoster.php` endpoint allows any authenticated user to overwrite the poster image for any scheduled live stream by supplying an arbitrary `live_schedule_id`. The endpoint only checks `User::isLogged()` but never verifies that the authenticated user owns the targeted schedule. After overwriting the poster, the endpoint broadcasts a `socketLiveOFFCallback` notification containing the victim's broadcast key and user ID to all connected WebSocket clients. Commit 5fcb3bdf59f26d65e203cfbc8a685356ba300b60 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40928 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, multiple AVideo JSON endpoints under `objects/` accept state-changing requests via `$_REQUEST`/`$_GET` and persist changes tied to the caller's session user, without any anti-CSRF token, origin check, or referer check. A malicious page visited by a logged-in victim can silently cast/flip the victim's like/dislike on any comment (`objects/comments_like.json.php`), post a comment authored by the victim on any video, with attacker-chosen text (`objects/commentAddNew.json.php`), and/or delete assets from any category (`objects/categoryDeleteAssets.json.php`) when the victim has category management rights. Each endpoint is reachable from a browser via a simple `<img src="…">` tag or form submission, so exploitation only requires the victim to load an attacker-controlled HTML resource. Commit 7aaad601bd9cd7b993ba0ee1b1bea6c32ee7b77c contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41061 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isValidDuration()` regex at `objects/video.php:918` uses `/^[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}/` without a `$` end anchor, allowing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript to be appended after a valid duration prefix. The crafted duration is stored in the database and rendered without HTML escaping via `echo Video::getCleanDuration()` on trending pages, playlist pages, and video gallery thumbnails, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. Commit bcba324644df8b4ed1f891462455f1cd26822a45 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41063 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, an incomplete XSS fix in AVideo's `ParsedownSafeWithLinks` class overrides `inlineMarkup` for raw HTML but does not override `inlineLink()` or `inlineUrlTag()`, allowing `javascript:` URLs in markdown link syntax to bypass sanitization. Commit cae8f0dadbdd962c89b91d0095c76edb8aadcacf contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43877 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/userSavePhoto.php is a legacy profile-photo endpoint that accepts a base64 POST parameter and writes the decoded bytes to videos/userPhoto/photo<users_id>.png. Its only access control is User::isLogged(). It does not end in .json.php, so it is excluded from the project's global autoCSRFGuard (which is suffix-scoped in objects/include_config.php). There is no CSRF token, no Origin/Referer check, and no MIME validation of the decoded bytes. Because AVideo's default cookie policy is SameSite=None; Secure on HTTPS (objects/functionsPHP.php:227), an attacker who lures a logged-in user to a malicious page can overwrite that user's profile photo with arbitrary bytes and also triggers a site-wide clearCache(true) on every forged request. Commit 9c38468041505e637101c5943c5370c68f48e3ac contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43879 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an authenticated user can configure their own donation-notification webhook URL to point at internal/loopback/metadata hosts (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:8080/..., http://169.254.169.254/latest/..., RFC1918 addresses). When any other user (including a second account owned by the same attacker) donates even a trivial amount via plugin/CustomizeUser/donate.json.php, the AVideo server issues a curl POST to the attacker-supplied URL, resulting in a blind SSRF. The handler uses only isValidURL() (which is a format check) and does not call the codebase's own isSSRFSafeURL() helper. Additionally, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION is enabled with no per-hop revalidation, so even if the stored URL were validated, an HTTP 307 from an attacker-controlled host could redirect the POST to internal targets. Commit aaacd48f29f1ff71d1eb5fc81d37605f593cefa9 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33759 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `objects/playlistsVideos.json.php` endpoint returns the full video contents of any playlist by ID without any authentication or authorization check. Private playlists (including `watch_later` and `favorite` types) are correctly hidden from listing endpoints via `playlistsFromUser.json.php`, but their contents are directly accessible through this endpoint by providing the sequential integer `playlists_id` parameter. Commit bb716fbece656c9fe39784f11e4e822b5867f1ca has a patch for the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33761 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, three `list.json.php` endpoints in the Scheduler plugin lack any authentication check, while every other endpoint in the same plugin directories (`add.json.php`, `delete.json.php`, `index.php`) requires `User::isAdmin()`. An unauthenticated attacker can retrieve all scheduled tasks (including internal callback URLs and parameters), admin-composed email messages, and user-to-email targeting mappings by sending simple GET requests. Commit 83390ab1fa8dca2de3f8fa76116a126428405431 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34368 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `transferBalance()` method in `plugin/YPTWallet/YPTWallet.php` contains a Time-of-Check-Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition. The method reads the sender's wallet balance, checks sufficiency in PHP, then writes the new balance — all without database transactions or row-level locking. An attacker with multiple authenticated sessions can send concurrent transfer requests that all read the same stale balance, each passing the balance check independently, resulting in only one deduction being applied while the recipient is credited multiple times. Commit 34132ad5159784bfc7ba0d7634bb5c79b769202d contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34369 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `get_api_video_file` and `get_api_video` API endpoints in AVideo return full video playback sources (direct MP4 URLs, HLS manifests) for password-protected videos without verifying the video password. While the normal web playback flow enforces password checks via the `CustomizeUser::getModeYouTube()` hook, this enforcement is completely absent from the API code path. An unauthenticated attacker can retrieve direct playback URLs for any password-protected video by calling the API directly. Commit be344206f2f461c034ad2f1c5d8212dd8a52b8c7 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40935 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/getCaptcha.php` accepts the CAPTCHA length (`ql`) directly from the query string with no clamping or sanitization, letting any unauthenticated client force the server to generate a 1-character CAPTCHA word. Combined with a case-insensitive `strcasecmp` comparison over a ~33-character alphabet and the fact that failed validations do NOT consume the stored session token, an attacker can trivially brute-force the CAPTCHA on any endpoint that relies on `Captcha::validation()` (user registration, password recovery, contact form, etc.) in at most ~33 requests per session. Commit bf1c76989e6a9054be4f0eb009d68f0f2464b453 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33763 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `get_api_video_password_is_correct` API endpoint allows any unauthenticated user to verify whether a given password is correct for any password-protected video. The endpoint returns a boolean `passwordIsCorrect` field with no rate limiting, CAPTCHA, or authentication requirement, enabling efficient offline-speed brute-force attacks against video passwords. Commit 01a0614fedcdaee47832c0d913a0fb86d8c28135 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33766 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, `isSSRFSafeURL()` validates URLs against private/reserved IP ranges before fetching, but `url_get_contents()` follows HTTP redirects without re-validating the redirect target. An attacker can bypass SSRF protection by redirecting from a public URL to an internal target. Commit 8b7e9dad359d5fac69e0cbbb370250e0b284bc12 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34364 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `categories.json.php` endpoint, which serves the category listing API, fails to enforce user group-based access controls on categories. In the default request path (no `?user=` parameter), user group filtering is entirely skipped, exposing all non-private categories including those restricted to specific user groups. When the `?user=` parameter is supplied, a type confusion bug causes the filter to use the admin user's (user_id=1) group memberships instead of the current user's, rendering the filter ineffective. Commit 6e8a673eed07be5628d0b60fbfabd171f3ce74c9 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40908 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the file `git.json.php` at the web root executes `git log -1` and returns the full output as JSON to any unauthenticated user. This exposes the exact deployed commit hash (enabling version fingerprinting against known CVEs), developer names and email addresses (PII), and commit messages which may contain references to internal systems or security fixes. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41055 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, an incomplete SSRF fix in AVideo's LiveLinks proxy adds `isSSRFSafeURL()` validation but leaves DNS TOCTOU vulnerabilities where DNS rebinding between validation and the actual HTTP request redirects traffic to internal endpoints. Commit 8d8fc0cadb425835b4861036d589abcea4d78ee8 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43880 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/sendEmail.json.php exposes two branches depending on whether contactForm=1 is submitted. When the parameter is omitted, the endpoint sets $sendTo to an attacker-supplied email and, for unauthenticated callers, uses the site's own contact email as the message From:/Reply-To:. The endpoint is explicitly allow-listed as a "public write action" in objects/functionsSecurity.php (line 885), so it requires no authentication or CSRF token. An unauthenticated attacker (solving a captcha) can force the site's own SMTP infrastructure to send attacker-composed emails to arbitrary recipients with the site's legitimate sender address, passing SPF/DKIM/DMARC for the site's domain — ideal for targeted phishing and brand impersonation. Commit 4e3709895857a5857f0edb46b0ee984de0d9e1a2 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43881 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/users.json.php exposes two unauthenticated paths that disclose the full set of registered user accounts. The isCompany request parameter causes the handler to set $ignoreAdmin = true for any non-admin caller (including unauthenticated visitors), which defeats the admin-only guard inside User::getAllUsers()/User::getTotalUsers(). A second path accepts users_id and calls User::getUserFromID() directly with no permission check, producing a single-user oracle. Both paths return id, identification (display name), channel URL, photo, background, and status, plus the total account count. Commit d9cdc702481a626b15f814f6093f1e2a9c20d375 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-56347 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo TopMenu plugin through version 26.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in menu item rendering due to missing output encoding of icon classes, URLs, and text labels. Attackers can inject malicious JavaScript through unescaped menu item fields that execute for all site visitors, potentially stealing session cookies or performing unauthorized actions. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-33684 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 29.0, Privilege Escalation is possible through unguarded permission parameters in signUp API, which allows any user who can solve a CAPTCHA to self-grant elevated permissions during account registration. The set_api_signUp method in the API plugin accepts emailVerified, canUpload, canStream, and canCreateMeet parameters from user-supplied input and applies them to newly created accounts without verifying that the request was authenticated with a valid APISecret. By self-granting account attributes, attackers can mark their own accounts as email-verified without owning the address (bypassing email-gated functionality) and award themselves upload, streaming, and meeting-creation permissions, circumventing administrator access controls that intentionally restrict these capabilities for new users. This issue has been fixed in version 29.0 24 Oct
CVE-2026-64626 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo versions from commit 0dbadbca through latest master contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the encoder download-by-URL flow due to an unpinned retry fallback that bypasses DNS pinning validation. An authenticated attacker can supply a downloadURL that redirects to an internal address, causing the unpinned retry to follow the redirect and reach internal targets for blind SSRF attacks. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-114634 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo before 29.4.0 contains a blind server-side request forgery vulnerability in getHeaderContentTypeFromURL() because get_headers() follows redirects without re-validating targets with isSSRFSafeURL(). Authenticated uploaders can store a videoLink pointing to a redirector, causing internal GET requests when visitors view the video, enabling internal port scanning via the embed-versus-video render oracle. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-57944 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in channelToGallery.json.php that allows attackers to modify site-wide Gallery configuration by performing unauthorized writes to plugin data. Attackers can craft a cross-site GET request carrying an administrator's session cookie to promote arbitrary channels to the front page or delete curated sections without token validation. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-114048 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo before 24.0 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in legacy endpoints like playlistStatus.php that bypass the .json.php-only autoCSRFGuard() check. Attackers can lure logged-in users to a page with an auto-submitting form to make private playlists public, remove playlist videos, or forge video suggestions. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-116139 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo 26.0 through 29.3.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated commenters to inject JavaScript because markDownToHTML() preserves event-handler attributes in leading HTML blocks. Attackers can post a comment starting with an img tag carrying an onerror handler, which bypasses the inline sanitizer and executes in viewers' browsers under the application origin. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-72747 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo fails to sanitize the phone field during user registration, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious JavaScript that persists in the database. When administrators visit the users management page, the unsanitized phone value is rendered via innerHTML, executing the injected script in the admin's browser session. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-60092 5.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo (Meet plugin) through commit e8d6119f3cb1b849149906efeb0a41fc024f59f8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Meet plugin's getMeetInfo.json.php endpoint. When a participant joins a public meeting, the raw HTTP User-Agent header is stored (meet_join_log.user_agent) without sanitization (bypassing AVideo's setter-level xss_esc() layer) and later echoed without output encoding (no htmlspecialchars()) in the Participants management panel, which is accessible to the meeting host and site administrators. An anonymous, unauthenticated attacker can join any public meeting while supplying a User-Agent header containing an HTML/JavaScript payload; the payload is persisted and executes in the privileged, authenticated browser session of the meeting host or a site administrator when they open the participant list. The issue was unpatched at the time of the report. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-61575 4.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Prior to 8.1.0, `view/queue.php` uses `pathinfo` on the caller-controlled `fileURI` and stores its filename through `setTitle` in `encoder_queue.title` without neutralization. `fileURI` is not in the `objects/security.php` filter lists, and the `Login::canUpload()` capability needed to submit a queue entry can be self-granted using an attacker-controlled login site without legitimate encoder credentials. `view/index.php` loads `queue.json` from `view/queue.json.php` into the `#grid` jQuery Bootgrid table; its title formatter concatenates `row.title` into raw cell HTML. An attacker can therefore store an HTML title whose event handler runs in a privileged viewer's browser. `Encoder::getAll` limits nonadministrators to their own streamer's rows, so the victim must be an administrator who sees all rows or an operator on the attacker's streamer. A second `.html()` sink in the progress panel uses the same title but additionally depends on a helper script loaded from the streamer; the Bootgrid sink is reachable from encoder code alone. The script can read session-visible data and rendered streamer credentials, act with the viewer's privileges, and execute again for each qualifying viewer until the row is removed. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.0. Wed 28 Oct
CVE-2026-50183 4.7 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YouTubeAPI plugin. The plugin renders the snippet.title field returned by the YouTube Data API into the homepage gallery markup with no HTML encoding. The title is set by the YouTube video uploader (anyone in the world) and is treated by AVideo as trusted content. A YouTube uploader who controls a video matching the operator's configured query injects HTML into the AVideo homepage by setting their video's title to a JavaScript-bearing string; the payload then executes in the browser of every visitor who loads any page that renders the gallery. When the visitor is an AVideo administrator, the injected JavaScript performs any admin action (create user, promote to admin, change configuration, install plugin) that uses cookie-based authentication without an additional CSRF token, escalating the bug into full administrative takeover. The payload persists for the duration of cacheTimeout (default 3600 seconds) after the malicious title is set on YouTube and survives YouTube removing the hostile video for the same window. This issue has been addressed by commit https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/7292129eaee5f609beae103b5cb387d55f17b877. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-33764 4.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the AI plugin's `save.json.php` endpoint loads AI response objects using an attacker-controlled `$_REQUEST['id']` parameter without validating that the AI response belongs to the specified video. An authenticated user with AI permissions can reference any AI response ID — including those generated for other users' private videos — and apply the stolen AI-generated content (titles, descriptions, keywords, summaries, or full transcriptions) to their own video, effectively exfiltrating the information. Commit aa2c46a806960a0006105df47765913394eec142 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43882 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, the unauthenticated plugin/Scheduler/downloadICS.php endpoint passes attacker-controlled title, description, and joinURL parameters into Scheduler::downloadICS(), which builds an ICS calendar file via the ICS helper class. ICS::escape_string() (objects/ICS.php:167-169) only escapes , and ; and does NOT neutralize CR/LF, so attacker CRLF bytes inside a property value break out and inject arbitrary ICS lines — including END:VEVENT / BEGIN:VEVENT pairs that add entire attacker-controlled calendar events. Because the malicious .ics file is served from the victim's trusted AVideo origin, this enables high-credibility calendar phishing: forged meetings with attacker-chosen SUMMARY, URL, LOCATION, and DESCRIPTION landing in the victim's calendar after import. Commit 764db592f99e545aa86bb9a4ad664ffd14c38ba5 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43883 4.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/PayPalYPT/agreementCancel.json.php cancels a PayPal billing agreement using an attacker-supplied agreement parameter without verifying that the authenticated user owns the agreement. A low-privilege authenticated user who learns or obtains another user's PayPal billing agreement ID can silently suspend the victim's recurring subscription, causing revenue loss to the platform and loss of paid service to the victim. Commit 0da3dcff1eda2f497694bf82b559829471c292c2 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
