CVE-2024-6387exploit ×98 8.1 high 100.0% sonicwall, arista, sma_6200_firmware, sma_7200_firmware, eos A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period. 15 Oct
CVE-2023-48795exploit ×5 5.9 medium 94.0% openbsd, putty, openssh, filezilla_client The SSH transport protocol with certain OpenSSH extensions, found in OpenSSH before 9.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to bypass integrity checks such that some packets are omitted (from the extension negotiation message), and a client and server may consequently end up with a connection for which some security features have been downgraded or disabled, aka a Terrapin attack. This occurs because the SSH Binary Packet Protocol (BPP), implemented by these extensions, mishandles the handshake phase and mishandles use of sequence numbers. For example, there is an effective attack against SSH's use of ChaCha20-Poly1305 (and CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC). The bypass occurs in [email protected] and (if CBC is used) the [email protected] MAC algorithms. This also affects Maverick Synergy Java SSH API before 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, Dropbear through 2022.83, Ssh before 5.1.1 in Erlang/OTP, PuTTY before 0.80, AsyncSSH before 2.14.2, golang.org/x/crypto before 0.17.0, libssh before 0.10.6, libssh2 through 1.11.0, Thorn Tech SFTP Gateway before 3.4.6, Tera Term before 5.1, Paramiko before 3.4.0, jsch before 0.2.15, SFTPGo before 2.5.6, Netgate pfSense Plus through 23.09.1, Netgate pfSense CE through 2.7.2, HPN-SSH through 18.2.0, ProFTPD before 1.3.8b (and before 1.3.9rc2), ORYX CycloneSSH before 2.3.4, NetSarang XShell 7 before Build 0144, CrushFTP before 10.6.0, ConnectBot SSH library before 2.2.22, Apache MINA sshd through 2.11.0, sshj through 0.37.0, TinySSH through 20230101, trilead-ssh2 6401, LANCOM LCOS and LANconfig, FileZilla before 3.66.4, Nova before 11.8, PKIX-SSH before 14.4, SecureCRT before 9.4.3, Transmit5 before 5.10.4, Win32-OpenSSH before 9.5.0.0p1-Beta, WinSCP before 6.2.2, Bitvise SSH Server before 9.32, Bitvise SSH Client before 9.33, KiTTY through 0.76.1.13, the net-ssh gem 7.2.0 for Ruby, the mscdex ssh2 module before 1.15.0 for Node.js, the thrussh library before 0.35.1 for Rust, and the Russh crate before 0.40.2 for Rust. 15 Oct
CVE-2021-3449exploit 5.9 medium 64.0% openssl, debian, debian_linux, freebsd An OpenSSL TLS server may crash if sent a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. If a TLSv1.2 renegotiation ClientHello omits the signature_algorithms extension (where it was present in the initial ClientHello), but includes a signature_algorithms_cert extension then a NULL pointer dereference will result, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack. A server is only vulnerable if it has TLSv1.2 and renegotiation enabled (which is the default configuration). OpenSSL TLS clients are not impacted by this issue. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 versions are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1j). 8 Oct
CVE-2019-6111exploit ×4 5.9 medium 58.0% openbsd, winscp, openssh, ubuntu_linux An issue was discovered in OpenSSH 7.9. Due to the scp implementation being derived from 1983 rcp, the server chooses which files/directories are sent to the client. However, the scp client only performs cursory validation of the object name returned (only directory traversal attacks are prevented). A malicious scp server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can overwrite arbitrary files in the scp client target directory. If recursive operation (-r) is performed, the server can manipulate subdirectories as well (for example, to overwrite the .ssh/authorized_keys file). 14 Oct
CVE-2020-1967exploit 7.5 high 53.0% openssl, debian, debian_linux, freebsd Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f). 8 Oct
CVE-2021-3450exploit 7.4 high 18.0% openssl, freebsd, santricity_smi-s_provider_firmware The X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT flag enables additional security checks of the certificates present in a certificate chain. It is not set by default. Starting from OpenSSL version 1.1.1h a check to disallow certificates in the chain that have explicitly encoded elliptic curve parameters was added as an additional strict check. An error in the implementation of this check meant that the result of a previous check to confirm that certificates in the chain are valid CA certificates was overwritten. This effectively bypasses the check that non-CA certificates must not be able to issue other certificates. If a "purpose" has been configured then there is a subsequent opportunity for checks that the certificate is a valid CA. All of the named "purpose" values implemented in libcrypto perform this check. Therefore, where a purpose is set the certificate chain will still be rejected even when the strict flag has been used. A purpose is set by default in libssl client and server certificate verification routines, but it can be overridden or removed by an application. In order to be affected, an application must explicitly set the X509_V_FLAG_X509_STRICT verification flag and either not set a purpose for the certificate verification or, in the case of TLS client or server applications, override the default purpose. OpenSSL versions 1.1.1h and newer are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1h-1.1.1j). 8 Oct
CVE-2026-57155exploit 9.9 critical 1.0% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the Firewall Alias GeoIP importer's process_zip() and process_gzip() paths in src/opnsense/scripts/filter/lib/alias/geoip.py use an unvalidated CSV country_code value to construct output filenames below /usr/local/share/GeoIP/alias. A user with Firewall Alias Edit privilege can configure an attacker-controlled GeoIP source URL and supply an archive whose country code traverses into another existing directory, causing attacker-controlled content to be written as root with an -IPv4 or -IPv6 suffix. A crafted newsyslog fragment and oversized log file can use the default hourly root cron job to execute commands as root, resulting in complete firewall compromise. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-53582exploit 7.1 high 1.0% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.10, the Trust module stores attacker-controlled certificate authority and certificate refid values and interpolates them into XPath expressions in src/opnsense/mvc/app/models/OPNsense/Trust/FieldTypes/CAsField.php and src/opnsense/mvc/app/models/OPNsense/Trust/FieldTypes/CertificatesField.php. A user with CA Manager or Certificate Manager privileges can submit a crafted refid and repeatedly retrieve the object to obtain a boolean refcount oracle, allowing values in config.xml to be recovered character by character. Exposed values can include password hashes, API credentials, certificate private keys, VPN key material, and high-availability credentials, enabling privilege escalation and compromise of other security domains. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.10. 16 Oct
CVE-2019-12900 9.8 critical 8.0% bzip, debian, bzip2, debian_linux, leap BZ2_decompress in decompress.c in bzip2 through 1.0.6 has an out-of-bounds write when there are many selectors. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-44194 9.1 critical 6.0% opnsense OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.8, an authenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in the OPNsense core allows a user with user-management privileges to execute arbitrary system commands as root. An attacker can bypass input validation by formatting their malicious payload as a compliant email address, allowing shell commands to reach the underlying operating system. The flaw exists in the local user synchronization flow, within core/src/opnsense/scripts/auth/sync_user.php. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.1.8. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58081 9.8 critical 1.0% freebsd Several encoding modules, including HZ, UTF-7, VIQR, and ZW, did not properly check the size of the caller-supplied output buffer before writing converted characters. An application that uses iconv(3) to convert untrusted input to or from one of the affected encodings may be vulnerable to buffer overflows if it uses one of the affected encoding modules. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-58082 9.8 critical 1.0% freebsd The ISO-2022 encoding module used a stack buffer sized to MB_LEN_MAX (6 bytes) for intermediate character output. Some ISO-2022 variants can require up to 10 bytes per character, in which case conversions can trigger a stack buffer overflow of up to four bytes. An application that uses iconv(3) to convert untrusted input to or from one of the affected encodings may be vulnerable to buffer overflows if it uses one of the affected encoding modules. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-44193 9.1 critical 1.0% opnsense OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.7, the XMLRPC method opnsense.restore_config_section fails to sanitize user supplied input leading to Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.1.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-45158 9.1 critical 1.0% opnsense OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.8, unsanitized user input is passed to the DHCP configuration of the configured interface, which is processed by a shell script, allowing remote code execution as root on the underlying operating system. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.1.8. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-105429 8.9 high 1.0% no CPE yet Improper neutralization of special elements in the NetBird client SSH configuration manager (client/ssh/config/manager.go) in NetBird versions 0.60.0 through 0.74.6 allows a malicious or compromised peer to execute arbitrary commands on other NetBird client hosts. The client writes a system-wide OpenSSH drop-in file (/etc/ssh/ssh_config.d/99-netbird.conf, or the equivalent under %PROGRAMDATA%\ssh\ssh_config.d on Windows) that embeds each peer FQDN or hostname inside a double-quoted Match host directive without escaping. A peer name containing a double quote breaks out of the quoted context and injects arbitrary SSH configuration directives, including exec commands, which run locally as any user on the host the next time that user runs ssh. Desktop clients on Linux, macOS, Windows and FreeBSD are affected; the Android and iOS apps are not. The issue is fixed in version 0.74.7, which accepts a peer FQDN or hostname only if it is a valid DNS name. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-58390 8.0 high 1.0% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the OpenVPN connection-status dashboard widget in src/opnsense/www/js/widgets/OpenVPNClients.js and the connection-status view place a client common_name into data-common-name attributes without quote-safe encoding. Exploitation requires an OpenVPN server configured with username-as-common-name and RADIUS or LDAP authentication, plus the ability to provision or self-register a valid backend username containing a double quote; deployments where the same administrator controls both the identity backend and firewall do not cross a separate trust boundary. An authenticated client using that username can close the attribute and add an event handler, while the local user database is not affected because its username validator rejects quotes. Script executes in an administrator's session when the administrator opens the dashboard or connection-status page and the injected event is triggered; the demonstrated payload used pointer movement over the client row rather than unconditional page-load execution. The advisory demonstrates that the script can read config.xml, invoke privileged APIs, reset the root password, and obtain root command execution. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 20 Oct
CVE-2020-13434 5.5 medium 1.0% sqlite, debian, debian_linux, fedora SQLite through 3.32.0 has an integer overflow in sqlite3_str_vappendf in printf.c. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-101306 9.8 critical 0.00% freebsd SCM_RIGHTS file descriptor passing did not preserve FD_RESOLVE_BENEATH when a descriptor was transferred. A process could clear the restriction by sending the descriptor to itself over a Unix domain socket. A process in a jail that has received a directory file descriptor from another jail can use these techniques to escape the jail's filesystem root restriction. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-118688 8.8 high — no CPE yet wasmtime-wasi in Wasmtime before 36.0.18, 37.0.0 before 48.0.6, and 49.0.0 before 49.0.3 re-appends a trailing slash to rename source paths, causing renameat on macOS and FreeBSD hosts to follow directory symlinks. A guest with sandbox write access can rename a relative symlink such as "up/" to move host directories into its sandbox and read or write them. 18 h ago
CVE-2026-101305 8.8 high 0.00% freebsd renameat(2) did not enforce FD_RESOLVE_BENEATH on its directory arguments. A jailed process could rename a directory relative to a restricted descriptor, then escape the jail root via fchdir(2). This requires the directory to reside on a filesystem that is also reachable from the jail's root. A process in a jail that has received a directory file descriptor from another jail can use these techniques to escape the jail's filesystem root restriction. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-58083 8.4 high 0.00% freebsd While the kernel was copying knotes during fork, a knote with a timer-based filter could fire and be enqueued on the kqueue's active list before the copy was complete. The copy routine did not account for this and could enqueue the new knote a second time, corrupting the active list. In addition, the copy routine did not hold the appropriate locks while reading knote state, allowing further races. An unprivileged local user can trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, potentially leading to privilege escalation. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-58098 8.4 high 0.00% freebsd When semop(2) blocks waiting for a semaphore condition, it releases the per-set lock and sleeps. Upon waking, it checks the sequence number embedded in the semaphore set's IPC identifier to detect whether the set was removed while the caller was asleep. This sequence number is only 15 bits wide. If enough semaphore sets are created and destroyed in the same table slot while a caller is blocked, the counter wraps around, and semop(2) may falsely conclude that the original set still exists. The subsequent access to a semaphore within the set may then be out of bounds. An unprivileged local user can trigger an out-of-bounds access on kernel heap memory, potentially leading to privilege escalation. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-34578 8.2 high 0.00% opnsense OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.6, OPNsense's LDAP authentication connector passes the login username directly into an LDAP search filter without calling ldap_escape(). An unauthenticated attacker can inject LDAP filter metacharacters into the username field of the WebGUI login page to enumerate valid LDAP usernames in the configured directory. When the LDAP server configuration includes an Extended Query to restrict login to members of a specific group, the same injection can be used to bypass that group membership restriction and authenticate as any LDAP user whose password is known, regardless of group membership. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.1.6. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-101307 8.2 high 0.00% freebsd When the PCM sample array needs to grow, the RACK stack doubles a 16-bit allocation counter. Repeated doublings caused the counter to wrap to zero, resulting in a near-zero-length allocation followed by a copy of the existing samples into the undersized buffer. A remote peer can trigger the expansion by sending a sufficient number of ACKs on an established connection. A remote attacker who can establish a TCP connection to a system using the RACK stack can trigger an out-of-bounds write of approximately 512 KB in the kernel heap possibly resulting in a kernel panic. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-58086 8.1 high 0.00% freebsd As an inadvertent side effect of an unrelated code change, PRIV_KTRACE was always denied to a jailed root user. Tracing configured by a jailed root user was therefore not flagged as privileged. An unprivileged user in a jail that has permission to debug the target process can modify the jailed root user's ktrace(2) flags, or disable tracing outright. A jailed root user therefore cannot reliably trace unprivileged processes. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-63442 8.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the unauthenticated WebGUI login usernamefld accepts carriage-return and line-feed characters that survive LOG_AUTH processing through syslog-ng-lockout.conf into the syslog-ng program destination feeding lockout_handler. The consumer's readline() processing treats an injected fragment as a separate authentication event and selects the first syntactically valid IP address from the forged line. An attacker with network access to the login page can forge failure events for another IP, causing that IP to be added to the sshlockout PF table and its active states to be killed, or forge accepted events that reset an attacker's own brute-force counter. This can block administrative, DNS, gateway, or monitoring addresses and can bypass password-guessing lockout without authentication. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-58087 7.8 high 0.00% freebsd The GETALL and SETALL commands in semctl(2) recorded the number of semaphores in the target set, dropped the lock protecting the set, allocated a buffer sized for that count, and reacquired the lock. A sequence-number check was used to verify that the set had not been replaced in the interim, but the sequence number wraps after 0x8000 create/destroy cycles. By rapidly destroying and recreating semaphore sets at the same index, another process can cause the sequence number to wrap, allowing a set with a different number of semaphores to pass validation. The subsequent copy then reads or writes past the end of the allocated buffer. An unprivileged local user can trigger out-of-bounds reads and writes on kernel heap memory, potentially leading to privilege escalation. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-58085 7.5 high 0.00% freebsd After dispatching a decrypt operation to OCF and receiving the result, the wg(4) driver failed to check whether the MAC verification step succeeded. The driver thus silently accepted packets with an invalid Poly1305 authentication tag. A remote attacker who can send UDP packets to a WireGuard endpoint, and who can guess the bounds of the receiver's replay window, can inject forged or modified transport data packets into the tunnel. A remote attacker who can intercept WireGuard packets bound for a FreeBSD host can modify the ciphertext and authenticated data without detection by the receiver. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-101303 7.5 high 0.00% freebsd The IPv6 UDP send path for unconnected sockets did not apply the jail policy of rewriting a loopback destination address to the jail's primary IPv6 address. A process in a classic (non-VNET) jail can send UDP datagrams to services listening on the host's IPv6 loopback address, bypassing jail network isolation. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-58088 7.4 high 0.00% freebsd The ELF core dump code counted the number of dumpable VM map entries, allocated a buffer for the corresponding program headers, then iterated over the map a second time to populate them. A process sharing the address space via rfork(2) can mutate the map between the two passes, causing the second pass to write program headers past the end of the buffer. An unprivileged local user sharing an address space with a process that dumps core can trigger an out-of-bounds write on the kernel heap, potentially leading to privilege escalation. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-101304 7.1 high 0.00% freebsd When fdescfs(4) was mounted in a jail with the "nodup" option, opening /dev/fd/N returned a descriptor that did not inherit FD_RESOLVE_BENEATH or the Capsicum capability rights of descriptor N. A process in a jail that has received a directory file descriptor from another jail can use these techniques to escape the jail's filesystem root restriction. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-71490 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.11, OPNsense\Core\ACL::hasPrivilege() appends a directly assigned comma-separated <priv> value as one string and then uses an exact comparison when checking user-config-readonly. A user directly assigned both a component write privilege and user-config-readonly can therefore be treated as lacking the read-only restriction, and MVC APIs protected by throwReadOnly() can persist configuration changes for that component. Group privileges are not affected by the same parser flaw because the group path already splits comma-separated values. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-58099 7.0 high 0.00% freebsd When copying knotes from a parent kqueue to a child, the copy code did not correctly exclude marker knotes (used internally to track list traversal position) before marking them as in-flux and releasing the kqueue lock. If another thread freed a marker while the lock was dropped, the subsequent in-flux decrement operated on freed memory. An unprivileged local user may be able to exploit these races to escalate privileges. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-58100 7.0 high 0.00% freebsd kqueue_fork_copy_knote() indexed into the child's file descriptor table using a knote's file descriptor number without a bounds check. Because the child's table is copied before knotes are transferred, a concurrent thread in the parent could grow the parent's table and register knotes with file descriptor numbers beyond the end of the child's table, causing an out-of-bounds read. An unprivileged local user may be able to exploit these races to escalate privileges. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-116674 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. Prior to 5.33.13, networkStats(ifaces) in lib/network.js on FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD stores per-interface data in the plain-object _network cache and indexes it with the sanitized caller-controlled interface name. Passing proto causes the inherited Object.prototype value to be used instead of creating an own cache entry, so calcNetworkSpeed() writes rx_bytes, tx_bytes, rx_sec, tx_sec, ms, last_ms, and operstate onto Object.prototype. The polluted property names are fixed and their values come from interface statistics, but inherited-name collisions and enumerable keys can corrupt application branching, serialization, configuration merging, validation, or lookup behavior. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.13. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-44195 6.5 medium 0.00% opnsense OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to 26.1.7, a logic flaw in the OPNsense lockout_handler allows an unauthenticated attacker to continuously reset the authentication failure counter for their IP address. By interjecting a crafted username containing a success keyword ("Accepted" or "Successful login") between normal brute-force attempts, an attacker can prevent the failure counter from ever reaching the lockout threshold. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.1.7. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-101302 6.5 medium 0.00% freebsd TLS 1.3 embeds the actual record type as the last non-zero byte of the decrypted payload, optionally followed by zero padding. The code which searches for the inner record type had an off-by-one bug which could be triggered by an invalid frame, leading to an underflow followed by an unconditional NULL pointer dereference, causing a kernel panic. A remote TLS 1.3 peer can send a specially crafted record to trigger a kernel panic, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). 20 Oct
CVE-2026-58393 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the OpenVPN Client Specific Override common_name field accepts path traversal sequences and openvpn_csc_conf_write() concatenates the value into /var/etc/openvpn-csc/<vpnid>/<common_name> without normalization or a basename check. The affected event handlers are client_connect.php and user_pass_verify.php. An authenticated user with Client Specific Override privileges can store the traversal value, and a matching OpenVPN client-connect or authentication event causes a generated CSO file to be written outside the intended directory. The file content is generated OpenVPN configuration rather than arbitrary bytes, and practical exploitation requires the attacker to cause a matching common name or username to be processed. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-49424 5.5 medium 0.00% freebsd The Linux waitid() implementation translates a FreeBSD siginfo_t struct into a stack-declared Linux siginfo_t. It did not first zero the stack struct. An unprivileged user may observe 104 bytes of uninitialized kernel stack data, which may contain sensitive information. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-49425 5.5 medium 0.00% freebsd The compat32 kevent() handler translates a 64-bit kevent struct into a stack- declared 32-bit struct. It did not first zero the stack struct. An unprivileged user may observe a small amount of uninitialized kernel stack data, which may contain sensitive information. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-58084 5.5 medium 0.00% freebsd To retrieve the previous timer value, the kernel calls realtimer_gettime(), which obtains the current time for the timer's clock. For a timer using CLOCK_TAI this can fail when no TAI offset has been configured, but the error return was not checked, so the uninitialized output buffer was copied to userspace. An unprivileged local user can obtain uninitialized kernel stack memory by creating a POSIX timer with CLOCK_TAI and calling timer_settime(2), potentially disclosing sensitive kernel data. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-101308 5.5 medium 0.00% freebsd When an audio channel's buffer needs to be resized, the sound(4) driver checks that the buffer is not memory-mapped and then drops the channel lock to allocate a new buffer. An mmap(2) call on another thread can complete during this window, after which the resize path frees the now-mapped buffer without rechecking. An unprivileged local user with access to a sound device can exploit this race to trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, potentially escalating privileges. 19 Oct

CVE-2026-58391 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, Firewall Rules and NAT views place stored category names and alias descriptions into HTML title attributes in filter_rule.volt and nat_rule.volt without quote-safe encoding. The response layer uses ENT_NOQUOTES, so a double quote survives and closes the attribute, allowing an event-handler attribute to be added to the existing span. A user with Firewall Categories or Firewall Alias Edit privileges can store a category name or alias description; the category must be assigned to a filter or NAT rule, or the alias must be referenced by a rule source or destination, and the rule must be saved so the affected tooltip is rendered. Script then executes in the session of an administrator or other user who opens the affected Rules or NAT page. The script can access CSRF material and perform authenticated actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-58392 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the NTP GPS page stores the operator-supplied initcmd value in base64 form, applies legacy_html_escape_form_data() to the encoded string, and then uses base64_decode() to decode the value directly into the GPS initialization-command textarea in src/www/services_ntpd_gps.php. Because decoding occurs after escaping, stored HTML remains unescaped at the output sink. A user with page-services-ntp-gps privilege can store a value that closes the textarea, and script executes in the session of any user who later opens the GPS page. The script can read CSRF material and perform authenticated actions, including actions available to an administrator. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-58394 5.2 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, src/www/system_advanced_admin.php reads certificate records into $a_cert but omits that array from legacy_html_escape_form_data() before rendering each certificate descr value in the SSL Certificate selector. The certificate description accepts HTML metacharacters, allowing a user with the page-system-certmanager privilege to store markup that executes when another user opens System Settings Administration. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-110453 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Nix before 2.35.3, when unsandboxed on macOS or FreeBSD, incorrectly allows connections made by build users from daemon clients. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-58395 4.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, the safe-delete path reached through ApiMutableModelControllerBase::delBase() interpolates an unvalidated safe-delete token from the request URL into an XPath expression over config.xml before confirming that the token is a valid identifier. A user holding any one affected module privilege can send a crafted token to one of 21 affected delete endpoints covering Traffic Shaper, DHCP relay, Dnsmasq, Firewall Category, or Kea DHCP, causing the XPath to match configuration data across modules. The resulting error response exposes configuration item names, descriptions, reference paths, and UUIDs and provides an XPath substring-presence oracle, including for modules the user cannot otherwise access. The request does not modify configuration or perform a deletion. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-35362 3.6 low 0.00% uutils, coreutils The safe_traversal module in uutils coreutils, which provides protection against Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) symlink races using file-descriptor-relative syscalls, is incorrectly limited to Linux targets. On other Unix-like systems such as macOS and FreeBSD, the utility fails to utilize these protections, leaving directory traversal operations vulnerable to symlink race conditions. Mon 26 Oct
