CVE-2022-0778exploit ×6 7.5 high 73.0% openssl, debian, debian_linux, cloud_volumes_ontap_mediator The BN_mod_sqrt() function, which computes a modular square root, contains a bug that can cause it to loop forever for non-prime moduli. Internally this function is used when parsing certificates that contain elliptic curve public keys in compressed form or explicit elliptic curve parameters with a base point encoded in compressed form. It is possible to trigger the infinite loop by crafting a certificate that has invalid explicit curve parameters. Since certificate parsing happens prior to verification of the certificate signature, any process that parses an externally supplied certificate may thus be subject to a denial of service attack. The infinite loop can also be reached when parsing crafted private keys as they can contain explicit elliptic curve parameters. Thus vulnerable situations include: - TLS clients consuming server certificates - TLS servers consuming client certificates - Hosting providers taking certificates or private keys from customers - Certificate authorities parsing certification requests from subscribers - Anything else which parses ASN.1 elliptic curve parameters Also any other applications that use the BN_mod_sqrt() where the attacker can control the parameter values are vulnerable to this DoS issue. In the OpenSSL 1.0.2 version the public key is not parsed during initial parsing of the certificate which makes it slightly harder to trigger the infinite loop. However any operation which requires the public key from the certificate will trigger the infinite loop. In particular the attacker can use a self-signed certificate to trigger the loop during verification of the certificate signature. This issue affects OpenSSL versions 1.0.2, 1.1.1 and 3.0. It was addressed in the releases of 1.1.1n and 3.0.2 on the 15th March 2022. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.2 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1n (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1m). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zd (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2zc). 14 Oct
CVE-2018-25032exploit ×3 7.5 high 52.0% nokogiri, python, zlib zlib before 1.2.12 allows memory corruption when deflating (i.e., when compressing) if the input has many distant matches. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-53595exploit 9.4 critical 2.0% no CPE yet FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the public endpoint `POST /user-setup/{hash}/{invite_sent_at}` (`OpenController@userSetupSave`) selects the target account solely by its `invite_hash` column, then overwrites that account's email and password and logs in as it. No authentication, cookie, or prior session is required. After a user activates, FreeScout sets `invite_hash` to the empty string. On MySQL and MariaDB, `VARCHAR` equality ignores trailing spaces, so a single URL-encoded space (`%20`) matches the stored empty string and selects the lowest-id activated user. The expiry guard decrypts `invite_sent_at` with the target's password hash, but `Helper::decrypt` returns its raw input unchanged when decryption fails. A plaintext numeric value such as `9999999999` therefore passes the time-to-live check without any secret. The result is that an anonymous attacker sets the email and password of the lowest-id activated FreeScout account (a support agent, or an administrator if one was added by invitation) and authenticates as that account. Version 1.8.224 contains a fix. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-92262exploit 9.9 critical 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the #mysql50# bypass prefix is affected because it allows the #mysql50# prefix to bypass normal table-name filesystem encoding. An attacker can trigger the issue with a table name using the #mysql50# prefix, then use a #mysql50# table name to access files under their legacy unencoded name and cause crashes, data corruption, data exfiltration, or remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 21 Oct
CVE-2026-114509exploit ×7 9.2 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Laravel is a web application framework. Prior to 12.68.0 and 13.29.0, TokenGuard configured as a standard token-based API guard does not reject a crafted non-string credential. Under affected MySQL or MariaDB configurations, the authentication lookup can match an unintended existing user, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication and take over an account on routes protected by TokenGuard. This issue is fixed in versions 12.68.0 and 13.29.0. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-107821exploit 8.0 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, MariaDB insufficiently validated counts, offsets, lengths, and field boundaries in FRM metadata while opening binary FRM files. An attacker able to place a crafted FRM file in the data directory could trigger out-of-bounds reads or writes, crash the server, or potentially execute code. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-111444exploit 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Wheels through 4.1.2 allows SQL injection on MySQL/MariaDB with backslash escaping enabled (NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES absent) when an application supplies request data to inline-literal paths. These include opt-in parameterize=false queries and IN lists, and positions in developer-written where strings that the parser does not bind, such as BETWEEN bounds, function arguments and LIKE ESCAPE literals. Doubling single quotes without accounting for backslash escapes allows a value to alter the query. Bound paths are not affected; whereBetween() is bound from 4.1.2. This is fixed in 4.2.0. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-3494exploit 5.3 medium 0.00% mariadb, amazon, aurora_mysql, relational_database_service In MariaDB server version through 11.8.5, when server audit plugin is enabled with server_audit_events variable configured with QUERY_DCL, QUERY_DDL, or QUERY_DML filtering, if an authenticated database user invokes a SQL statement prefixed with double-hyphen (—) or hash (#) style comments, the statement is not logged. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-49261 9.8 critical 2.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. Versions 10.6.1 through 10.6.26, 10.11.1 through 10.11.17, 11.4.1 through 11.4.11, 11.8.1 through 11.8.7, and 12.3.1 with `wsrep_notify_cmd` enabled would execute shell commands embedded in the name of the joiner node. This is fixed in 10.6.27, 10.11.18, 11.4.12, 11.8.8, and 12.3.2. As a workaround, anyone who cannot upgrade now should disable `wsrep_notify_cmd`. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40887 9.1 critical 2.0% no CPE yet Vendure is an open-source headless commerce platform. Starting in version 1.7.4 and prior to versions 2.3.4, 3.5.7, and 3.6.2, an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability exists in the Vendure Shop API. A user-controlled query string parameter is interpolated directly into a raw SQL expression without parameterization or validation, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary SQL against the database. This affects all supported database backends (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite). The Admin API is also affected, though exploitation there requires authentication. Versions 2.3.4, 3.5.7, and 3.6.2 contain a patch. For those who are unable to upgrade immediately, Vendure has made a hotfix available that uses `RequestContextService.getLanguageCode` to validate the `languageCode` input at the boundary. This blocks injection payloads before they can reach any query. The hotfix replaces the existing `getLanguageCode` method in `packages/core/src/service/helpers/request-context/request-context.service.ts`. Invalid values are silently dropped and the channel's default language is used instead. The patched versions additionally convert the vulnerable SQL interpolation to a parameterized query as defense in depth. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-108963 8.8 high 2.0% no CPE yet databasement before 1.8.2 allows remote code execution because it runs certain commands (e.g., mariadb-dump) with a database name that can be specified by any authenticated user. For example, --result-file=/app/public/index.php can write to index.php. In other words, quoting prevents OS command injection in mariadb-dump, but the argument injection alone is sufficient for code execution indirectly. NOTE: the project's composer.json file does not indicate an independently published databasement Composer package. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-48165 7.2 high 2.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.27, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.18, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.12, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.8, and 12.3.1, a high-privileged MariaDB user could've used wsrep_sst_receive_address or wsrep_sst_donor global system variables to execute shell commands as the uid of the mariadbd process on the galera joiner node. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.27, 10.11.18, 11.4.12, 11.8.8, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-85746 9.9 critical 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_AsText can write beyond an allocated output buffer when converting deeply nested GeometryCollections because recursive WKT serialization does not account for bytes consumed or reserve sufficient space. A low-privileged remote attacker can submit a specially crafted GIS object to corrupt memory and potentially achieve code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-85748 9.9 critical 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 12.3.1 until 12.3.3 and 13.0.2, SYS_REFCURSOR handling is affected because cursor-array reallocation can leave stale references in routine contexts. A low-privileged attacker can open a large number of SYS_REFCURSORs and then fetch one to trigger a use-after-free that can enable remote code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This issue is fixed in versions 12.3.3 and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2025-59681 9.8 critical 1.0% djangoproject, django An issue was discovered in Django 4.2 before 4.2.25, 5.1 before 5.1.13, and 5.2 before 5.2.7. QuerySet.annotate(), QuerySet.alias(), QuerySet.aggregate(), and QuerySet.extra() are subject to SQL injection in column aliases, when using a suitably crafted dictionary, with dictionary expansion, as the **kwargs passed to these methods (on MySQL and MariaDB). 12 Oct
CVE-2026-97380 8.8 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the GRANT PROXY statement treats an IDENTIFIED clause with an empty password as though authentication were not specified, causing it to check the wrong grantor privileges. A low-privileged attacker who can name another account can exploit this authorization error to set that account's password. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-107815 8.5 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the CONNECT engine's DOS table type used an incorrect boundary check that permitted a one-byte null write beyond a stack buffer at an attacker-controlled offset. An authenticated user able to use the CONNECT engine could cause a crash and potentially remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-56287 8.1 high 1.0% apache, fineract A boolean-based SQL Injection vulnerability exists in Apache Fineract's Client Search API (GET /api/v1/clients) in versions up to and including 1.14.0. The orderBy and sortOrder request parameters are concatenated into a SQL query without sufficient validation, allowing an authenticated user with permission to view clients to inject arbitrary SQL via a crafted orderBy value. This can be leveraged to perform blind boolean-based data extraction and, on MySQL/MariaDB, to disclose arbitrary files readable by the database process via the LOAD_FILE() function. Users are recommended to upgrade to a version containing the fix Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-44168 8.0 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.26, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.17, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.11, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.7, and 12.3.1, during the SST the donor node is interpolating parameters that the joiner sent into the command line. Not all parameters were properly validated which could allow a malicious joiner to execute arbitrary shell commands on the donor side via the mariabackup SST method. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.26, 10.11.17, 11.4.11, 11.8.7, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-86047 7.7 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, SHOW CREATE SERVER, SHOW CREATE USER, and mariadb-dump are affected because each does not consistently quote identifiers and values when serializing SQL. A low-privileged attacker can trigger the issue when an attacker-created object with crafted identifiers or values is included in SHOW output or a dump, then create an object with crafted identifiers or values so generated SQL contains injected statements and execute attacker-injected SQL when the poisoned output is applied. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-48163 7.2 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.27, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.18, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.12, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.8, and 12.3.1, during the SST the donor node is interpolating parameters that the joiner sent into the command line. Not all parameters were properly validated which could allow a malicious joiner to execute arbitrary shell commands on the donor side via the rsync SST method. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.27, 10.11.18, 11.4.12, 11.8.8, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-107823 7.2 high 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the MariaDB view FRM parser did not safely encode embedded newline characters in a username. An account with CREATE USER and CREATE VIEW WITH GRANT OPTION could create a crafted username containing additional view metadata, causing the parser to interpret part of the username as security metadata and potentially escalating database privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2025-13699 7.0 high 1.0% no CPE yet MariaDB mariadb-dump Utility Directory Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of MariaDB. Interaction with the mariadb-dump utility is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the handling of view names. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-27000. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-44172 6.9 medium 1.0% mariadb, redhat, enterprise_linux MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. In versions 3.3.18 and 3.4.8, an application that was taking non-validated user input, escaping it with mysql_real_escape_string() and sending it to the database using text protocol and big5 character set was vulnerable to SQL injections, even though mysql_real_escape_string() was supposed to prevent them. This issue has been patched in versions 3.3.19 and 3.4.9. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-107822 6.4 medium 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, MariaDB's ACL cache could generate the same database-privilege cache key for role and localhost user names that matched because both used an empty IP component. An attacker with CREATE USER could create the colliding principal and, when the original principal's database privileges were cached, exercise privileges assigned to the other account. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-44170 6.3 medium 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.26, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.17, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.11, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.7, and 12.3.1, MariaDB on WIndows with installed CONNECT engine and enabled REST support interpolated table HTTP attribute into the curl command line without proper sanitizing. This allows the user to execute shell commands on the server. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.26, 10.11.17, 11.4.11, 11.8.7, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44173 5.3 medium 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.26, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.17, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.11, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.7, and 12.3.1, MariaDB allowed SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE and SELECT ... INTO DUMPFILE without verifying the FILE privilege if the FROM clause contained only subqueries. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.26, 10.11.17, 11.4.11, 11.8.7, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-85745 4.3 medium 1.0% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_Area reads beyond the allocated buffer when processing invalid WKB for a MultiPolygon because the multi-polygon parser advances past a nested geometry header without first verifying enough input remains. A low-privileged remote attacker can supply malformed spatial data to disclose memory useful for bypassing ASLR as part of a multi-vulnerability chain. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-110911 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Wheels 1.1.8 through 4.1.1 allows SQL injection when caller-supplied quoted values are parsed again as SQL by dynamic finders (such as findOneByEmail), the query builder's where(property, value) and where(property, operator, value), string/UUID-key lookup paths (findByKey, updateByKey, deleteByKey and findOrCreateBy...), and validatesUniquenessOf. The parser incorrectly treats a doubled single quote as the end of a literal. Applications passing request data to these APIs can expose authentication, password-reset or token lookups, and data to unauthorized access; numeric-column values are not affected. There is a similar concern for query-builder whereBetween() in 4.0.0 through 4.1.1: string/date bounds can alter SQL on MySQL/MariaDB with backslash escaping enabled. This is fixed in 4.1.2. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-55680 9.8 critical 0.00% no CPE yet WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, unauthenticated POST requests to web/html/socio/sistema/cadastro_cobranca.php can place a quoted SQL expression in the codigo parameter, which extract($_REQUEST) passes into the WHERE codigo= clause of an UPDATE statement without validation or parameter binding. Quoting the value bypasses MariaDB type conversion for the VARCHAR column and permits arbitrary SQL execution without a session. An attacker can read or modify database content, including user credential hashes and billing records in the cobrancas table. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-109573 9.2 critical 0.00% no CPE yet phpMyFAQ before 4.1.9 contains an SQL injection vulnerability in PdoMysql::escape(), which escapes single quotes with backslashes that are treated literally when MySQL or MariaDB runs in NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES mode. Unauthenticated attackers can send a Unicode right single quotation mark in the search parameter of api/autocomplete, which is normalized to an ASCII quote, to read credentials and configuration secrets, modify records, or drop tables. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-107818 8.4 high 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the mariadb.service unit used /run/mysqld/wsrep-new-cluster during the next service restart. A database user with FILE privilege and a secure-file-priv configuration permitting writes to /run/mysqld could create that file and inject attacker-controlled environment values into the restarted service. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107814 8.4 high 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, MariaDB RPM packages created the dedicated mysql service account with the database data directory as its home directory. A database user with the FILE privilege could write startup dot-files such as .bash_profile into $HOME, and those files could execute when an administrator opened a login shell for the mysql account. Debian packages are not affected because they use /nonexistent as the account home. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107384 8.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.2.0 until 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, applications that enable permitSetMultiParamEntries can pass objects whose keys are expanded into a SQL SET clause without being processed by escapeId. An attacker-controlled key containing a backtick can close the quoted identifier and cause the remainder of the key to be interpreted as SQL. This can update columns the application did not intend to expose and can append arbitrary SQL with the database user's privileges. The option is disabled by default, and serialized-object handling used when it is disabled is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-44171 7.8 high 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 10.6.1 to before 10.6.26, 10.11.1 to before 10.11.17, 11.4.1 to before 11.4.11, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.7, and 12.3.1, mbstream did not check for /../ in the path when unpacking the archive. A proper backup can never contain such paths, but a specially crafted archive could have caused mbstream to create files outside of the target-dir path. This issue has been patched in versions 10.6.26, 10.11.17, 11.4.11, 11.8.7, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-61569 7.5 high — no CPE yet AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Prior to 8.1.0, the unauthenticated streamer login at `objects/login.json.php` passes the `user` parameter to `Streamer::get` in `objects/Streamer.php`, where it is interpolated into a single-quoted MariaDB SELECT without parameterization or escaping. Although `objects/security.php` strips literal single quotes, `html_entity_decode` in `objects/Login.php` restores entity-encoded quotes before the query. The supplied `siteURL` must pass the streamer allowlist, which allows all sites when empty by default, and an attacker-hosted login response must set `canUpload` or `isAdmin` to reach `Streamer::createIfNotExists`. That function calls `Streamer::get` before its additional allowlist check. UNION results are exposed through `streamers_id`, while failures return the rendered query and MariaDB error. An attacker can read arbitrary encoder database data, including stored upstream streamer credentials, allowlist configuration, and queue records, without encoder credentials. Stacked statements are not permitted by the mysqli driver and the tested database account lacks global FILE privilege, so the demonstrated vector is bounded to reads rather than server-side file writes. Stolen streamer credentials can provide continued upstream access until rotated. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.0. 8 h ago
CVE-2026-107383 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, the GeoJSON Polygon and MultiPolygon binary encoders size a Buffer.allocUnsafe() allocation from each ring's numeric length before confirming that the ring is an array. A malformed non-array ring can therefore reserve bytes that the writing loop skips, and the connector sends the full buffer through execute() or batch(), disclosing uninitialized Node.js heap data into a database value. The persisted data can include other users' content, session material, database credentials, or TLS key material and may propagate to backups and replicas. The text-protocol query() path is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107385 7.4 high 0.00% no CPE yet MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, text-protocol escaping always prefixes quotes with a backslash and does not honor the session's NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES mode, including in Connection.escape(). When that mode is enabled, the backslash is an ordinary character, so an attacker-controlled placeholder value can close the SQL string literal and inject arbitrary SQL with the application's database privileges. The vulnerable configuration may be enabled server-wide, through connector initialization options, or with an application-issued SET sql_mode; execute() and batch() use binary protocols and are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4. 9 Oct
CVE-2026-46446 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet SOGo before 5.12.7, when PostgreSQL or MariaDB is used, and cleartext passwords are stored, allows SQL injection. This is related to c_password = '%@' in changePasswordForLogin. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-72607 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet A stored SQL injection vulnerability in Koha through 24.11.17, 25.05.12, 25.11.06, and 26.05.01 allows authenticated staff with the tools => items_batchmod permission to read arbitrary database contents by storing a SQL payload in the agefield value of an automatic item modification rule. The agefield value is stored verbatim to the system preference and later interpolated without parameterization into a SQL query in C4::Items::ToggleNewStatus (line 1228) when the scheduled cron job executes. The injection is SELECT-only under standard MariaDB/MySQL DBI single-statement execution; a time-based SLEEP payload is also achievable via the cron trigger. An attacker can read the entire Koha database including patron PII and staff bcrypt password hashes. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-41076 6.9 medium 0.00% limesurvey In version 6.13.0 of LimeSurvey, any external user can cause a 500 error in the survey system by sending a malformed session cookie. Instead of displaying a generic error message, the system exposes internal backend information, including the use of the Yii framework, the MySQL/MariaDB database engine, the table name 'lime_sessions', primary keys, and fragments of the content that caused the conflict. This information can simplify the collection of data about the internal architecture of the application by an attacker. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-107816 6.4 medium 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the qc_info plugin could be confused by a query containing embedded null bytes. Reading information_schema.query_cache_info after such a query was cached could access data beyond the end of a heap-allocated buffer, potentially disclosing adjacent memory or crashing the server. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-107819 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet MariaDB Connector/C is a C and C++ client library for connecting applications to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.4.1 until 3.4.10, the MariaDB Connector/C libmariadb Zero-Configuration SSL authentication-switch logic checked certificate trust failure but did not reject a TLS hostname verification mismatch before selecting a non-hashing authentication plugin. An active man-in-the-middle attacker with a valid certificate for another hostname could request mysql_clear_password and obtain the database password inside the attacker-controlled TLS connection. Other MariaDB connectors are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.10. 13 Oct
CVE-2026-107382 5.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.3.0 until 3.5.4, the zero-configuration TLS fingerprint-validation path calls Ed25519PasswordAuth.hash() through Authentication.validateFingerPrint, but Ed25519PasswordAuth.hash() references a seed identifier that is not in scope. Exposure requires a MariaDB server reached over TCP, TLS enabled with ssl: true or an ssl object whose rejectUnauthorized value is not false, a password set, no ssl.ca configured, and client_ed25519 negotiated as the authentication plugin. Under those conditions, a legitimate server, malicious server, or network attacker presenting a self-signed certificate can reach this path and cause a synchronous ReferenceError to escape the socket data handler. Under Node.js default uncaught-exception behavior, the client process terminates, causing denial of service. Configurations using a provided CA, rejectUnauthorized: false, another authentication plugin, or a Unix socket do not reach this vulnerable path. This issue is fixed in version 3.5.4. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-85985 5.4 medium 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the CONNECT engine plugin file-access UDFs json_file(), bson_file(), jfile_make(), bfile_make(), and jbin_file() are affected because each does not enforce FILE privilege or the secure_file_priv setting. A low-privileged attacker can trigger the issue by calling a CONNECT file-access UDF with a filesystem path, then invoke a CONNECT file-access UDF to access a filesystem path and read or write files that the database account is not authorized to access, subject to operating-system permissions. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-47847 5.3 medium 0.00% no CPE yet Bitnami MariaDB Galera container images and Helm chart are affected by a hardcoded default credential vulnerability in the Galera replication health-check user. The MARIADB_REPLICATION_USER and MARIADB_REPLICATION_PASSWORD environment variables defaulted to monitor and monitor respectively. This user is granted REPLICATION CLIENT privileges from any host ('%'). The Bitnami Helm chart for MariaDB Galera did not expose parameters to configure this user's credentials, resulting in all chart deployments using this publicly known credential by default. Affected versions — Container image: 10.6.x prior to 10.6.27-photon-5-r0; 10.11.x prior to 10.11.17-photon-5-r1; 11.4.x prior to 11.4.12-photon-5-r0; 11.8.x prior to 11.8.7-photon-5-r1; 12.3.x prior to 12.3.2-photon-5-r0 / 12.3.2-debian-12-r0. Helm chart: prior to 18.3.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2024-47091 5.2 medium 0.00% checkmk Privilege escalation in the mk_mysql agent plugin on Windows in Checkmk <2.4.0p29, <2.3.0p47, and 2.2.0 (EOL) allows a local unprivileged user able to create a Windows service whose name matches 'MySQL' or 'MariaDB' (or with write access to a binary referenced by such a service) to execute arbitrary code in the context of the Checkmk agent service, which typically runs as SYSTEM. CVE-2026-107817 4.4 medium 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the mysql_json plugin assumed that imported MySQL tables contained valid MySQL binary JSON data. A specially prepared MySQL table containing invalid JSON data could cause out-of-bounds reads, information disclosure, or a server crash. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-44169 4.3 medium 0.00% mariadb MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From versions 11.4.1 to before 11.4.11, 11.8.1 to before 11.8.7, and 12.3.1, a user getting EXECUTE access to a stored routine via a role, could see the routine definition even without SHOW CREATE ROUTINE privilege. This issue has been patched in versions 11.4.11, 11.8.7, and 12.3.2. Mon 26 Oct
